What seems to need to be explained though is that the problem is the Federal Government. The Federal Government has been overreaching it's power as much as it can, with a big uptick in the last 17 years since the attacks of 9/11/2001. Whether it's the NDAA which allows the government to detain citizens and hold them indefinitely without due process, or the mass surveillance of the population through all our data by the NSA. The problem isn't one single person in power, it's the collective power that we have allowed the Federal Government to have over us.\n\nJust think how amazing it could be, if it didn't matter who our President was because the states held the power over what actually made a difference in our day to day lives. This is how things should be and this is how it was designed to be in the first place. The Federal Government was put into place to dictate things that actually mattered on a national level, i.e. military and international dealings. What we now see though is that Washington has their hands in EVERYTHING. This is our problem. \n\nThe answer here is that we need to change the power back to the states and leave the federal government to deal with the things that are national issues. Maybe then they would actually get things done... People who have this understanding need to get into positions of power. The states need to make it clear that what goes on in that state is dictated by the state and the federal government has very little power over what goes on there. \n\nNow is this possible? it's doubtful, it would take a mass adoption of this understanding. But we see how many people are against Trump and buy into everything the media says about him whether true or false. Those are the types of numbers it would take to get something like this to actually take place. That would mean the masses would have to actually think for themselves and be willing to go against what the mainstream media says (because we know the MSM would be forced to report negatively on such actions).  So personally I'm not holding my breath, but watching the masses be so obsessed with Trumps actions makes me think \"then take the power away so it doesn't matter who's President\".  \n\nWouldn't that be nice, everyone not really caring about who the President is again.  That's how things should be, and it's possible if people would just get on the same page. We all don't want the same thing no matter who you support politically. We just want to live life without having a big brother none of us are related to ruling over us. If only we could get on the same page and get laws passed that restrict their power and elect people who would diminish their overreaching power. \n\nHard to imagine that happening. But hey, it'd be nice.",

Whether it's news, politics, media, work, etc, etc. This happens to me constantly, and I feel like the obvious answer is there but always overlooked or not put into action.
