In an interview , she  disclosed that she had not good roles in the films. Before being cast in Gauri Shinde's English Vinglish all her films flopped in which she played a role. after , she worked in Anand L. Rai's Raanjhanaa(2013) and Karan Johar's Gori Tere Pyaar Mein (2013).\nApart from films , she also acted in TV serials like Hotel Kingston , Bombay Talking , and Anil Kapoor's 24 and Jiya Jale.\n\nDEATH\n\nShe died on 19 August 2018 due to Metastatic Cancer. She was in the Fourth stage of it . In 2006, when she  was 40 years old . she was diagnosed with Cancer . However , 2012 , reportedly , she was cured. After starring in English vinglish and Raanjhanaa, she again fell into the grip of this disease. She was undergoing an operation at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.
