I knew what to do. I knew who would follow. I knew how to get everyone through who wanted to be where this was going.\n\nHow did I know? In dreams, we don’t stop to reason. We just know.\n\nI stepped onto the platform next to what looked a little like the Hogwart’s Express {from the JK Rowling Harry Potter series}. There were only a few people on the platform, bustling here and there. Just catching a breath, I realized I had FLASHed there. Fast forward, at top speed, like the Marvel character who is so named {The FLASH}.\n\nWhy had I paused, I wondered? I was so focused on the summit, the summation. It felt so GOOD to be moving the way I can MOVE again…\n\n“Excuse me.”\n\n“What?” Distracted while adjusting my suiting-up, I noticed a black-and-white character just to my left. He appeared slightly out of focus, wearing dark sunglasses, hesitating to touch my arm, though he clearly wanted direction.\n\n“How do you do it? How is this done?”\n\nI knew what he meant. I knew what he wanted. I didn’t have time to wait around to see if he would understand.\n\n“You put your will into your hands, like this!” As I force-pumped energy into my hands they took on an opalescent glow. “You put more into the space behind your heart.” I mitten-pat pointed to my own parka-covered back. “You send it through here and here,” I slapped my sacrum and the tops of my thighs, as fast as I could. Then you GO!!!!!!\n\nAt the word GO, I took off! Zipping toward the mountain pass, I covered the distance in no time at all. Exhilarated, I paused for my hair and scarf to catch up as I rounded the first marker at maximum velocity.\n\nAt the bottom of the mountain, where the trails began, I was told to pause again. “Show the newspaper headlines. Show them to the guides at the first portal. They prove that ‘the guide’ will be here to support the journey. Only s/he isn’t waiting. They’ll have to hurry not to be left behind.”\n\nThe instructions continued. “Anyone could have seen the headline. It was as plain as plain.” I was to tell those holding the portal to “take the first five women on ahead and let the rest follow as they can.”\n\nWhat the guides at the portal were to say was “Hey, it was in the paper! On the front page! Plain as plain!” They were to hold the headlines high for those who showed up to clearly see.\n\nI took off through the portal. It opened up, showing me a ship on the water. A river led into a large lake that merged right into the mountain. The ship was leaving. It flickered oddly, dancing between local fishing boat and something shinier and more translucent whose shape might or might not have been more rounded and sleek.\n\nThe boat/ship was to take some of us part of the way. A fast path ticket making the journey shorter. It wouldn’t wait.\n\nAs the ship pulled away I was told there would be one more following after, into the ice and beyond toward the peak. Then, others would have to build their own rafts in order to follow.\n\nAs the ship accelerated, I felt part of me resisting, wanting to stay behind to hold the portal open. Most of me stood on the prow of that ship, leaning in to the wind, grinning ear to chilly ear.\n\nI chose to go on. I willed the ‘staying behind’ part to “come here, dammit!” and she did, without hesitation.\n\nI woke up into the reality of a bedroom that does not belong to me, with my pounding head grinning and wishing for speed.\n\n***\n\nI dreamed of the Matterhorn. The image could well have come from visits to Disneyland, or from Germany, where I skied that very mountain. Odd that it wasn’t Tibet. Odder still the ice and snow, other than their clean, pristine natures.\n\nWhat does the dream say to you? I’d appreciate your intuition, truly. If you noticed anything in particular, leave me a comment,  please. The more lenses of perception the better!\n\nOh yes, I did ask for a dream. I specifically requested assistance from Archangel Raziel, holder of the Mysteries, for advice on a logistical matter. I heard ‘dreaming’ through the voice of the Infinite and so I asked for a dream.\n\n    There is no distance between a question and its answer ~ Source\n\nMaybe that explains the speed?",

Hiding in plain sight, wearing the masks we learned to or were taught to wear... hiding. From others? From ourselves? I'm not sure those facts matter.  Truth matters.\n\nHow is hiding a form of truth? Is it? Can it be? Why did I feel the need to hide? Well, there is a whole deluge of 'answer' to that one! Danger, Will Robinson!!!!!  I remember the Robot flailing its mechanical arms in distress. It might make me laugh, but the scene feels real when we're in it. \n\nHow does the choice not to hide look and feel? Scary at first, perhaps. Sometimes the choice is obvious, sometimes less so. \n\nI remember the choices along the way in favor of hiding. I have fewer memories of the choices to be open and honest and free. Why? Maybe because those choices are truth and truth has no need to be anything but itself.\n\nI don't remember pulling the lever switched me firmly onto the track of no hiding. I do remember the intent. \n\nIt is a little like the 'place of no pity' as described in some wisdom traditions. There is no going back. Back to what or to whom? Those locations no longer exist.  Thank goodness!\n\nTruth always finds its way into the open. I'd rather have that as my ally than anything else, anyway.",

So why this post, because it isn't that big a deal and yes, I do appreciate the Steemit platform more for all of the reasons we post about... and no, I do not drive traffic from FB here. Soooo... here's the story.\n\nThis morning I read a post from someone I follow on Medium. It reiterated a concept I was taught by a mentor years ago. Do something you are afraid of every day. It has been decades now, and while I can't say I have consciously done this every day for the past few decades, today I took it to heart. \n\nWhy FB? Well... some things go without saying. BUT, because this was something I have actually done twice before AND for some weird reason, I have hesitated to do again for a few months now. \n\nThis is the third FB account I am deleting. Account one was created while I was setting up one of my entrepreneurial ventures about 10+ years ago. I was after the traffic and paid an admin to find friends, do the endless manual inviting of same (no tools then) and did gain quite a few followers and some traffic to my classes and talks. \n\nThen, as is with the world these days, my venture shifted. I needed a new online presence and the old one on FB felt jaded and obsolete. It was! So I deleted the account. Yay! Celebrations aplenty!\n\nI then began a new version of 'me' and in the re-inventing process was advised, a bit against my better judgment, to open a new FB account and persevere there. I set up an opening video and all of the bells and whistles that that timing indicated. The vibe then was that no one would have a website anymore, everyone would just have FB pages and stores. Yah-huh. And, of course, that endeavor shifted as well and it was so very much simpler to delete that account than to try to drag its very unwieldy steering mechanism in another direction. Yay! Celebrations, the remix!\n\nSo this third account was set up only a year or so ago. It jived with a website I have not yet created because the creation of same (and the concept) keeps morphing. Ever had that happen? There is this amazing, wonderful concept that you know in your bones is going to resonate with others, help people.... and you just can't quite get it off the ground? \n\nI find that this phenomenon always has to do with how I'm resonating (because everything is vibration) and how the others who chime in and indicate they want to collaborate resonate and some kind of dissonance there. Not that disosnance is 'bad' but in a loosely networked D.A.C., the resonant theme has to do just that. It has to vibrate in synch.\n\nI watched the new account accumulate friends, more slowly than ever before, mostly because I hardly ever spent time on it. It just wasn't interesting. I do have some ...\"opinions\"... about how FB was founded and whether my participation or not in that platform matters at all. Leaving in silent protest? Who would notice? Logging in every couple of weeks because some random thing makes me remember to do that when I could be posting here, where we all at least attempt to leverage support and acknowledgment? Tough decision. \n\nSo why didn't I delete the account sooner? Months ago? I asked myself that this morning after I read the Medium article about the daily doing of something that scares us. Did it scare me to hit the delete button? Why would it? I've done it twice before and can't quite see...So I took that long deep look within.\n\nNot FOMO as some may have surmised. I realized that it was one place, and not THE one place, just a semi-convenient and often toxic one place, where I could see photos of friends I hardly speak to. Where I could forward a brilliantly written piece that I thought would inspire others. Where I could post the occasional, \"Hey, we're all in this together and the world has to change so hang in there!\" \n\nBut there are other ways and means, are there not? And is that not what change is all about? So it was only the fear of losing touch with a few people whose email addresses I definitely have and maybe don't use often enough... wow. Great reason to procrastinate. So I found their silly little pop-up page.\n\nThis is how the little box they give you reads: \n\n\"If you do not think you will use Facebook again and would like your account deleted, we can take care of this for you. Keep in mind that you will not be able to reactivate your account or retrieve any of the content or information you have added.\"\n\nYAY!!!!  Celebrations in many dimensions!!!!!! \n\nAs my dear departed Mum said to me just after she left her body... \"Why didn't I do this a long time ago?\" \n\nThe relief wave is worth surfing.
