The event took place at the Peusangan Village Hall on Thursday (March 5, 2026).\n\nThe cash assistance distribution, through a humanitarian initiative titled \"Ramadan Ceria KNPI - Synergy of Harmony,\" was attended by the Chairman of the Central KNPI DPP, Haris Pratama, and the Chairman of the Aceh KNPI DPD I, Aulia Rahman.\n\nThe Chairman of the Bireuen DPD II of KNPI, Abdul Halim, stated that the 250 child disaster victims who received cash assistance from KNPI came from 10 sub-districts affected by the floods and landslides in Bireuen Regency.\n\n\"Hopefully, this cash assistance can help the children affected by the floods and landslides in Bireuen Regency, especially during this holy month of Ramadan,\" said Halim.\n\nHalim, Abdul Halim's nickname, added that the cash assistance distribution was also attended by the Regent of Bireuen, Ir. H. Mukhlis, ST.\n\n\"I would like to thank Regent Mukhlis for attending and distributing the assistance,\" said Halim.\n\nHalim also expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of the Central KNPI DPP, Haris Pratama, and the Chairman of the Aceh KNPI DPD, Aulia Rahman, for their assistance to the children affected by the Bireuen disaster.\n\n\"I hope this youth service will continue until the rehabilitation and reconstruction process following the floods and landslides is truly complete,\" Halim requested.\n\nMeanwhile, the Regent of Bireuen, H. Mukhlis, ST, expressed his high appreciation for the collaboration involving youth organizations across the country to help the flood victims. Umar Solikhin, M.Hum.\n\nThousands of people watched the event and were entertained by the performance of Acehnese singer Rafli Kande, who sang several songs, which the audience enthusiastically followed.\n\nThe Regent then symbolically distributed aid to 110 orphans from 17 sub-districts, funded by a six-month voluntary donation from the Regent's salary.\n\nThe Regent of Bireuen also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Bireuen Regency Government and the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Language Development and Guidance Agency, and the Rector of Al-Muslim University (Umuslim) Peusangan.\n\nThe signing was carried out by the Regent of Bireuen, H. Mukhlis, ST, with the Head of the Language Development and Guidance Agency of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Hafidz Muksin, S.Sos., M.Si, and the Rector of Umuslim, Dr. Marwan, MPd.\n\nThe officials also presented awards to prominent figures in the Bireuen Regency education sector and other recipients, including journalist organizations such as the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI), the Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI), and Rahmat Hidayat, a journalist from Aceh Ekspres.\n\nRegent H. Mukhlis, accompanied by the Chairperson of the Family Welfare Movement (TP-PKK), Sadriah, SKM MKM, and officials, including the leadership of Bank Aceh Syariah, presented prizes to the winners of several competitions held to commemorate the 26th anniversary of Bireuen Regency.\n\nIn his remarks, Regent H. Mukhlis outlined the history of Bireuen Regency's founding, spearheaded by Drs. Syahbuddin AR.\n\nAlong with Abdullah Ishak and seven figures: Ustad Mhd Abed Bransah, H Subarni A Gani, Syamaun Arifin, Rusli Rasyid, Sofyan Ali, Zainuddin Daud, and Alimuddin, and a number of historical stories about Bireuen since its leadership by Acting Regent Drs. H Hamdani Raden, Drs. Mustafa A Glanggang,\n\nThen, Drs. Nurdin Abdul Rahman, H Ruslan M Daud, and Regent Mukhlis's older brother, the late H. Saifannur, his successor Dr. Muzakar A Gani, SH., M.Si., Acting Regent Dr. Aulia Sofyan, and Acting Regent Jalaluddin, SH., MM.\n\nEach leader has a different leadership style. The various competitions include tug-of-war, sack race, marble carrying, and object transfer race.\n\nThis activity involves all students from grades 1 to 6, as well as teachers and parents. In just 60 minutes, the 2 tons of rice provided by the Bireuen Police under the Affordable Food Drive program were sold out.\n\nMany residents came quickly to get their hands on the rice. However, many missed out because the rice had already run out. A 5-kilogram bag was sold for Rp 62,000.\n\nThe program was made possible through a collaboration between the Bireuen Police, the State Logistics Agency (Bulog), and the National Food Agency. The sale of affordable rice was led by Bireuen Police Chief, AKBP Tuschad Cipta Herdani, SIK M Med Kom, and accompanied by other officials.\n\nThis activity aims to maintain supply stability, control rice prices in the market, and help the public obtain staple foods at affordable prices.\n\nBireuen Police Chief, AKBP Tuschad Cipta Herdani, explained to several media crews that the National Police's affordable food drive aims to support the government's efforts to maintain rice price stability and ensure the supply of rice, including other basic necessities.\n\n\"This program aims to help the public purchase rice at affordable prices amidst rising food prices. Mukhlis, ST, has set a target to resolve the issue of uninhabitable housing in Bireuen Regency within five years.\n\n\"Our target is that within five years of leading Bireuen, the problem of uninhabitable housing will be resolved. There will no longer be poor people living in uninhabitable houses, and we ask for support from all parties,\" said Regent Mukhlis at the groundbreaking ceremony marking the start of the construction of habitable housing through the Public Housing and Settlement Areas Agency (Perkim) and the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of habitable housing funded by the 2025 Village Fund (DD) in Gampong Blang Kuta Dua Meunasah, Simpang Mamplam District, on Friday (July 18, 2025).\n\nAccording to him, the Bireuen Regency Government has allocated a budget for the construction of 153 habitable housing units in 17 districts in 2025. A total of 53 units were built by the Department of Housing and Settlements, and 100 units were built through the Baitul Mal budget.\n\n\"In the Regent's Regulation, we also mandated the allocation of funds for assistance with affordable housing through the Village Fund. Each village will build two affordable housing units,\" said Mukhlis.\n\nHe also emphasized that the affordable housing assistance from the Bireuen Regency Government is free of charge.\n\n\"So, don't trust anyone claiming to be in charge of housing assistance. If they are truly deserving of assistance, we will help anyone, regardless of political affiliation. Today, I am the Regent of the people of Bireuen Regency, not a group,\" asserted the Golkar Party politician, who was inaugurated as Regent of Bireuen on February 18, 2025.\n\nBefore laying the first stone, the number one person in Bireuen Regency, with a background in the construction industry, first ensured that the building to be constructed conformed to the drawings.\n\n\"I also need to remind partners and supervisors to ensure there are no irregularities in the construction of habitable housing. If the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) finds any irregularities, the funds must be returned to the state treasury,\" he concluded.\n\nThe groundbreaking ceremony was also attended by H. Jamaluddin, a member of the Bireuen Regional People's Representative Council (DPRK) from the Nasdem faction; Fadli Abdullah, ST MSM, Head of the Bireuen Housing and Settlements Agency; Hendry Maulana, SIP MSM, Head of Blang Kuta Dua Meunasah Village; Nasrumminallah, and several local community leaders.\n\nOn that occasion, H. H. Razuardi, opened the training for field officers to update the Geospatial Framework and Statistical Work Area Content for the 2026 Economic Census at the Wisma Bireuen Jaya Hall on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.\n\nThe Deputy Regent of Bireuen, Ir. H. Razuardi, stated that the training for developing the geospatial framework and statistical work area content for the 2026 Economic Census (SE 2026) is part of a series of SE 2026 activities.\n\nThis activity aims to obtain the updated Wilkerstat master plan and content for the 2026 economic census. The main objectives of this training are calculating the hamlet content and drawing village and hamlet maps.\n\nUsing hamlets as enumeration areas presents challenges due to the highly dynamic nature of hamlets. In a relatively short period, many changes have occurred in hamlets, such as expansion, mergers, name changes, and boundary changes.\n\nTherefore, before the implementation of the 2026 Circular Letter (SE), BPS needs to update hamlets through the 2026 SE Geospatial Framework and Statistical Work Area Content (Wilkerstat) Update in 2025.\n\n\"I urge the training participants to complete the training carefully and responsibly. Take this training seriously, with concentration, and discipline,\" said Deputy Regent Razuardi.\n\nMeanwhile, the Head of the Bireuen Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Ir. Maimun, stated that the training, attended by 158 participants, was held in two waves: Wave I on July 11, 14, and 16, 2025, and Wave II on July 11, 15, and 17, 2025.\n\nThis activity is expected to provide a unified and up-to-date structure for the Wilkerstat content. \"We want to achieve a state-of-the-art geospatial framework through this activity,\" he said.\n\nThe most important thing expected of these field officers is their ability to translate the concepts and definitions of the activity itself. Muzakir Manaf or who is familiarly called Mualem, was present in person to lead the thanksgiving which took place lively but remained solemn. Some people chose to spend the night on Panjang Island to take part in the sacred series of events.\n\nIn his speech, Governor Muzakir Manaf expressed his deep gratitude to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, for his firmness and wisdom in resolving the issue of the regional borders.\n\n\"This decision is not just an administrative matter, but about respecting the rights, history, and aspirations of the Acehnese people who have never wavered,\" said Mualem.\n\nHe also expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, the Minister of Home Affairs, the Minister of State Secretary, the Cabinet Secretary, Forbes DPR/DPD RI from Aceh, and all elements of society who have fought and provided real support in fighting for the return of the islands to the bosom of Aceh.\n\nFurthermore, Mualem emphasized that the four islands should not be left empty.
