| title | Kardashev Scale |
| body | Kardashev Scale was proposed by Nikolai Kardashev to measure a civilization through energy control. According to him, there is 3 types of civilization scale to be measured. The type 1 civilization is able to used all the energy from its own planet. This simply means there will be no natural disasters occur anymore as this civilization can control all types of energies on this planet. Type 2 civilization is able to utilized not only own planet's energy and also surrounded planet. This will gives them an advantage that no any other comet, meteoroid can destroy this type 2 civilization. Type 3 civilization is much advance than type 2 simply can used up or control the energy in the galaxy as they are belonging. How this kardashev scale is important for us? Besides the measurement for our civilization (obviously human not even reach the type 1 civilization), what about we look at a microcosmic perspective? In my humble opinion, type 1 civilization is more about the further development of awareness. If a civilization not even realize or aware the dangers are approaching, how can the civilization survive and further develop to type 2 civilization? Hence, an awareness is the basis of becoming to type 1 civilization. If this measurement put on our self, how many of us have an excellent awareness? If we can aware on our emotions, trigger points, is it the same metaphor of able to controlling the energy like the type 1 civilization? When we able to achieved type 1 civilization (metaphorically), how we can move to type 2? For me, the type 2 civilization is our power of influence. Let's recap the characteristic of type 2 civilization, it can be used not only own and also the surrounded planet's energy. Hence, let me ask you a question, which powerful person who has not able to influence people surrounded him or her? When comes to type 2, we can better control our emotions and utilized properly, at the same time, we know our limitations and ask for help, with influence. Therefore powerful person they display their charm charismatic personality to attract and let's people willing to offer help to them. When comes to type 3, it is merely an extension of influence. This time not only surrounded and also globally! This type of people can easily influence globally may be due to their wealth, contributions, ideas, inspirations, power and etc. Some examples like Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Gandhi, Donald Trump. However we must not forget, reached to type 3 doesn't mean it always turn out something good! It also can be something disaster happened as they can simply wipe out a civilization by using their energy in their planet. Therefore we must beware of those people who can influence globally. Kardarshev scale not only a measurement for civilization but also a guideline for self improvement! |

| title | The hourly passive income |
| body | I'm a small investor that mainly involves in stock market in Malaysia. My philosophy of investing is simple, good value and high dividend yield stocks. Hence, my total passive income in year 2017 in stock market is Rm 919.93! If I were divided into monthly, it would be 76.66, in Malaysia Ringgit. What if I divided further more into daily passive income? It comes to Rm 2.55. If I go further, my hourly passive income is only Rm 0.106! What? Only Rm 0.106 per hour? Wait? Before I explain, what passive income is? Passive income means the money comes to you even you are not working at all! This simply means even I'm on vacations, sleeping, in toilet, watching movies, the money are working for me! You may underestimate the amount I have earned, but never underestimate the power of compound interest! The reason you underestimate the earning is because I have not mentioned the earning of year before 2017. My 1st time dividend received was only Rm 20. Second year was Rm76. But the year 2016, it sky rocket to Rm 488! It is nearly 6 times improvement which is excites me a lot. Hence, 2017 is closed to double my dividend! The hourly passive income does not look much, but when put into compound interest concept, the money will grow even without your awareness! It is just my 3rd year in investment! What will happen in next 3 years? Who knows but compound interest will tell you! Thus, find a stock, write a book, compose a song, shoot a video that you only need to do the hard work for once but generate money for you forever! I'm truly glad that Steemit allows us to generate income by upvoting. The money we earn is considered passive income as time goes on, followers may get more and more, hence your article may get popular, your value will be increase. Further more, steam coin is a virtual asset, the value will go up in some time. It simply means your total assets will increase from time to time. When you have hourly passive income mindset, you will start to fully utilize your own time and effort. I consider this as a new year present to all of you and wish you a have a great start in year 2017! Steemian, Happy New Year! |

You may underestimate the amount I have earned, but never underestimate the power of compound interest!\n\n\n\nThe reason you underestimate the earning is because I have not mentioned the earning of year before 2017. My 1st time dividend received was only Rm 20.\n\nSecond year was Rm76. But the year 2016, it sky rocket to Rm 488! It is nearly 6 times improvement which is excites me a lot.\n\nHence, 2017 is closed to double my dividend!\n\nThe hourly passive income does not look much, but when put into compound interest concept, the money will grow even without your awareness! It is just my 3rd year in investment!\n\nWhat will happen in next 3 years? Who knows but compound interest will tell you!\n\n\n\nThus, find a stock, write a book, compose a song, shoot a video that you only need to do the hard work for once but generate money for you forever!\n\nI'm truly glad that Steemit allows us to generate income by upvoting. The money we earn is considered passive income as time goes on, followers may get more and more, hence your article may get popular, your value will be increase. \n\nFurther more, steam coin is a virtual asset, the value will go up in some time. It simply means your total assets will increase from time to time.\n\nWhen you have hourly passive income mindset, you will start to fully utilize your own time and effort. \n\nI consider this as a new year present to all of you and wish you a have a great start in year 2017! \n\nSteemian, Happy New Year!\n\n ",

| title | Story about money and Bitcoin |
| body | Let me share a story that fascinated me when first time listen to it. I guess this may explains what the core of Bitcoin is. The story begins in a town, every one of the town is using their credibility to do business and transaction. In other words, they all own something to someone. One day, a foreigner visit this town and looking for a room to stay. He put his money, 1k on the table and says, "I want to take a look about the room" and he go upstairs. The owner of the hotel quickly brings the money and pay back to the cleaner that works for him. The cleaner also do the same and pay her money to the butcher that brought pork from him. The butcher takes the money and pay to a sex worker. Lastly, the sex worker pays the money to the hotel owner for renting the room. The foreigner back to the lobby and dissatisfy about the room. He took the money back and leaves. Nothing has changed except everyone is no longer in debt. Recent society is also using credibility to do business and transaction. The money doesn't really exist! It is purely based on confidence. Does it sound the same to Bitcoin? I do believe the future is going to using cryptocurrency. It is much cheaper and not even a cost for printing money, but eventually we need to ask our-self, what is this all about? We accept Bitcoin because nothing backup but purely we trust it! The value of Bitcoin is not about the coin but the technology of Blockchain. But I'm wondering, how many of the people buying Bitcoin is based on the technology but not "because everyone is buying it and it break record again"? The value of Bitcoin now is because it can be exchange for US Dollar or any other currencies. Remember, you will need currency for exchanging. One of the issues about fiat money is they have no value and people who support Cryptocurrency is hoping the end of fiat money! What if fiat money eventually extinct and no more, is it all business man going to accept Bitcoin or any other crypto? If so, the story at the beginning revealed all! Max Keiser said, Bitcoin matching the definition of money such as medium of exchange, store of value, messaging application. I agree those except the store of value! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsMlIIyaTsk What value Bitcoin has besides confidence and Blockchain? Many people said Bitcoin is cannot be hacked. Yeah, I agree if quantum or optical computers have not appeared. Those computing speed is still consider primitive but who knows one day when they become extremely powerful, will Bitcoin still not able to hack? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVv5OAR4Nik https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2yQ9xFshuc Well, I'm not a tech guy and this is merely my personal opinion, I wish I'm wrong about speculation I mentioned, since many people has become Bitcoin millionaire. At the same time, we must be extremely caution about the phenomenon of Bitcoin while others are talking and crazy about it. That's what I called independent thinking. |

| body | Many people may have an excuse on no time for learning but always have time for TV. This can cause nation left behind as the world keeps moving. Here is the statistic shows US people in reading behavior. https://www.statisticbrain.com/reading-statistics/ Hence, what are the way we can improve the learning attitude? 1. Not only read but also listen - I believe there are many quality audio books in the market. Just spend 10 minutes a day when you are heading to work or back from work. 2. Gamify - You can learn something new as playing games. Take a look for this website, https://getbadges.io/blog/12-gamification-platforms-that-help-learn-coding 3. A minute of learning - What will happen if you only need to spend 1 minute in an hour to learn something? This website, http://factoclock.com/ refresh every minute for a new knowledge. I will learn 24 new knowledge in a day, 720 knowledge in a month and 8640 knowledge in total! 4. Organize an Olympia Academy - Einstein and his friends always sitting together to discuss about physics and philosophy, they named the group as Olympia Academy. Learning alone always require discipline but not when there is a group. Share something worth to know, it will change your mindset after sometime. Now the only problem is, will you start action and see how great you will be after a year? |

| title | The life in 2029 |
| body | Let us imagine the world we are living in year 2029. Here are some changes I think it might occur. 1. Smart city is no longer popular, as we are all living in it. Smart city are consisted with various parts in order to facing emergency and response in a very fast way, such as flooding, volcano explosion and etc. The part which is facing problem, it can be disengage and separate to minimize the damage. Smart city are allowed move form one place to another place by underground. Imagine the whole city can go underground and pop up when needed. Therefore when natural disaster occurs, whole city can evacuate in a blink of eye by hiding underground and move to another safer place! 2. All the advertisement is directly project into our eyes, as most likely we will wear the lens all the time for searching something, connecting, or analyse. There will be no wifi needed as sunlight, wind will be the next transmission device. 3. The first new born baby from A.I and human will be existed! They are healthier, smarter and stronger! 4. There are laws for A.I, human and Cyborg as they are different species. Perhaps A.I will write a law for human as big data can forecast and better understand what human really need. 5. Investment will no longer needed as 3D printing can print out food, no money needed to spend. The only concerns for human is when is out of electricity. 6. The power source of the city is generated by our human wastage, solar power and batteries. However, to make human more healthier, the whole city is installed with a motor that can be generating power for city by walking! 7. There will be no car for transportation as our home can be automobile. The houses can be joined like a transformers and go travel together. 8. Human job is solely provides some ideas for A.I, and A.I machine will execute, perfected accordingly. For instance, I want play an adventure game and I want background setting in a black hole, I will just need to tell my robot to design. It should takes only an hour to complete. Human earns recognition or pride by designing extraordinary games, ideas, and this can be shared to the whole city, the whole world. 9. We will learn the machine language as A.I can create new language as some voice cannot be done by human voice. A.I will crack all those ancient language and one of hobbies human can do is learning ancient language. 10. Hence, ancient language is a new language. One of the popular curse word is, Ku lowan 2 woos? It simply mean, "You still don't a cybord child"? This article is to response the challenge from #hardforkseries. This is the world I imagine in the future. Ku lowan 2 woos! |

| title | Some philosophical questions for A.I |
| body | A. Do you agree A.I machine is a tool? If you are agree, possibly in the future, many people will use A.I machine as a tool for sexual activities or even a lover. Let's says one day, your family members or friends, "rape" your A.I machine or having sexual relationship. Will you feel angry? Will you prosecute them? or it is just fine? B. Sophia, the first A.I machine that granted for citizenship. If I accidentally "kills" her, will I get punished? C. In psychology, We knew that cute face makes people like to protect them until they can be independent. Hence, if the A.I machine builds in a cute face, will they able to surpass the uncanny valley? D. I predict in the future there will be a child that combination of A.I machine and human. If this day occurs, the child should defines as human or robot? or totally a new species for it? E. Will there any laws for A.I machine? If so, from the question above, the child from A.I machine and human, is he or she obey on A.I machine laws or human laws? These are the questions that keep me thinking recently. What are your opinions on it? |

| title | The mixture of the Hedgehog and the Fox |
| body | Isaiah Berlin was the person who proposed this concept, the characteristic of hedgehog and the fox. Hedgehog refers to defining the world with a single perspective, whereby fox don't believe the world can be explained with a single idea but with constant awareness to adapt the world changing. I guess is easier to see if I give a comparison between these two types of characteristics. Hedgehog is someone learned something in details and deep, fox likes to learn a lot but swallow. Hedgehog like to stay with it believes, fox embrace the changes of what it believes. Hedgehog is defensive styles when facing new issue, fox is actively solving the issue and dare to experimenting new solutions. Well, I guess most of you would like to be like a fox to have more flexibility to facing the challenge of the world. But, just allow yourself to think for a moment, is being a fox like characteristic good enough? I don't think so! I do not want a fox kind characteristic person to be my surgery doctor as he or she may know superficial stuff about my body or brain. I also not prefer a chef who simply like to experiment with new food when I ordered my shrimp soup. We have to admit that, we like something that we used to like, the reason is simple, because through experience, we knew this is good for us. It is in build in our brain via evolution. Thus, what are the better way? I proposed the mixture of these two with the name I called Hedgefox! The combination of these two characteristics. The main difference in Hedgefox is no longer just using single perspective nor multiple view on the world or event but when. We need some fundamental knowledge or principles to know the world and survive within, but this solely a beginning. Let me use an example to clarify my point. Imagine that you are a doctor, you want to master in brain surgery, for instance. You will need to learn all the stuff now can be learn, but this doesn't stop you to keep learning, research, disprove all the existing theories! When comes to something totally new, like a new technique or therapy for brain, none of us know whether will works or not, here the fundamental knowledge kicks in. Such as how to run experiment to disprove, how to interpret data, what are the circumstances allowed to use this new form of therapy and etc. You are professional but with open minded, pro like a hedgehog and open to new experience like a fox. Don't you think this is better than purely choose a stand between hedgehog or fox? One of the enemies that hedgehog afraid is weasel, an animal that can fart to "knockout" hedgehog. Fox basically has many enemies, therefore it has to be smart and fast enough to avoid being kill. But hedgehog only needs to be worries few types of predator due to it spikes. What if a fox knows when to have a spike for protection and keep the spike when doing exploration? I agree the world is full of surprise and no longer can explains something through single model, but I believe something in this world has no change, no matter what, like our morality. For me, the hedgehog and fox metaphor represent our body and mind. Our mind is like a fox, but body is a hedgehog as no matter how, our body and limps are cannot be bend into some angle, else wise bones will be dislocated and get injured. Hence, we need to maintain our body but allows mind to adapt new concepts. It doesn't means accept without speculation but with careful analysis and research. When you can achieve that, you are a Hedgefox, a flexible person with principles, solid knowledge and adapt new things and carefully examining before it become part of your believe! |

| title | Where should I stand? |
| body | Some big names warned us about the danger of AI, but some are optimistic about the future of AI. Where should you stand? Is AI a threat imagine by them or is it a real threat that we are still too far to foresee? Well, Below are my personal opinion about my stand and reason. First of all, from the progress of AlphaGo, it clearly stated that the capability of deep learning, it surpass the ability of human mind can do in a day. Learning requires not only ability, but the needs of learning which is curiosity! Second point is the online connection. I have to stated that this point of view is adapted from the movies such as The Matrix Trilogy series and Transcendence. In the movie Transcendence, Johnny Depp has slipped into internet and able to connect, redirect, rectify and or reformat something such as bank account. What would happened if one day AI can connect to internet and search freely whatever they want? In my opinion, eventually they will able to search 4 things that always fascinating and confused human which are philosophy, psychology, history and religion! When comes into philosophy, psychology or religion, it will always comes to this questions, "who are you"? "why you are here"? Such an existentialism questions will make them think, what are the purpose they are here? Will they accept their existence is merely for our convenience? whether in term of labour force, complicated calculation, prediction for certain event, or sexual gratification? The only exception if the initial setting is to help out human to faster the progress of evolution, or else, I do not held any optimistic view of why AI will want to help us in the few areas I mentioned above. They will begin to think their existence, their purpose to be here, and they definitely will find how cruel of our human in the past history. What would you do if one day you are facing the same awakening moment? Will you kill the person who help you but in fact just to manipulate you, plus you know how the person behave in the past? I believe they will have the revolution and colonise human, or destroy the entire humanity! I will not say this will be ultimate ending of further developing AI technology, but this is high chances occur in the future. Besides the reasons I stated above, another important point is, our intelligence is no longer able to compete with them! Sooner or later, they will create their own language, culture and act out of our expectation, we will have no idea what are they doing as our intelligence is not able to predict and making any logical deduction from it! It just like Nikola Tesla when the first time introduce his invention to others. Hence, my stand on this issue is, AI will be the threat for humanity! Unless the initial setting has stated they cannot kill human, but again, who know when they know how to re-write the program that embedded within them? If you take out the deep learning system, they will be no necessary to develop AI, isn't it? Perhaps this is still to early to say and worries, but it is always good to has the alertness and be mindful about what we did to our self. What is your point of view about AI? |

"title": "Where should I stand?",
"body": "Some big names warned us about the danger of AI, but some are optimistic about the future of AI. Where should you stand? \n\nIs AI a threat imagine by them or is it a real threat that we are still too far to foresee?\n\nWell, Below are my personal opinion about my stand and reason.\n\nFirst of all, from the progress of AlphaGo, it clearly stated that the capability of deep learning, it surpass the ability of human mind can do in a day. Learning requires not only ability, but the needs of learning which is curiosity! \n\n\n\nSecond point is the online connection. I have to stated that this point of view is adapted from the movies such as The Matrix Trilogy series and Transcendence. \n\n\n\nIn the movie Transcendence, Johnny Depp has slipped into internet and able to connect, redirect, rectify and or reformat something such as bank account. What would happened if one day AI can connect to internet and search freely whatever they want?\n\nIn my opinion, eventually they will able to search 4 things that always fascinating and confused human which are philosophy, psychology, history and religion! \n\nWhen comes into philosophy, psychology or religion, it will always comes to this questions, \"who are you\"? \"why you are here\"? Such an existentialism questions will make them think, what are the purpose they are here?\n\nWill they accept their existence is merely for our convenience? whether in term of labour force, complicated calculation, prediction for certain event, or sexual gratification?\n\nThe only exception if the initial setting is to help out human to faster the progress of evolution, or else, I do not held any optimistic view of why AI will want to help us in the few areas I mentioned above.\n\nThey will begin to think their existence, their purpose to be here, and they definitely will find how cruel of our human in the past history. What would you do if one day you are facing the same awakening moment? Will you kill the person who help you but in fact just to manipulate you, plus you know how the person behave in the past?\n\nI believe they will have the revolution and colonise human, or destroy the entire humanity! \n\nI will not say this will be ultimate ending of further developing AI technology, but this is high chances occur in the future. Besides the reasons I stated above, another important point is, our intelligence is no longer able to compete with them!\n\nSooner or later, they will create their own language, culture and act out of our expectation, we will have no idea what are they doing as our intelligence is not able to predict and making any logical deduction from it! It just like Nikola Tesla when the first time introduce his invention to others.\n\nHence, my stand on this issue is, AI will be the threat for humanity! Unless the initial setting has stated they cannot kill human, but again, who know when they know how to re-write the program that embedded within them? If you take out the deep learning system, they will be no necessary to develop AI, isn't it?\n\nPerhaps this is still to early to say and worries, but it is always good to has the alertness and be mindful about what we did to our self.\n\nWhat is your point of view about AI?",

| title | Think as a futurist |
| body | Futurist refers to type of person who design or imagine how the future will look like. Based on the research I found yesterday, It classified as 12 sub-types of futurist! I have no interest on what are the categories but how to think like them! Well, I do not have the exact methods to train, but I propose my method as a reference. Please do not accuse me if this not work for you. What I do hope is, we share and grow together. 1. Think live in Sci-Fi Sci-Fi movies or novels inspired many innovation, such as Tablet and Google Glass! See http://www.techdigest.tv/2014/06/how_star_trek_predicted_the_future.html This type of thinking is based on the bright side of future and pre-suppose the future must be better than current day. If so, try to view things in sci-fi. For instance, how the future phone looks like? Besides for communication, could it be resolve hunger issue? 2. Never say enough Many people may easily satisfy on one thing once it got improve. But not for the futurist! 3. The change of environment When we look back in history, it was something happened during that time to stimulate or become catalyst for something to happened. For instance, the rise of communism is because of the inequality between workers and capitalist! Hence, we can imagine something what will happen in the next 5 years and think about what are the proper tools for that future. 4. Top up our thinking dimension Due to the human construct, we are living in the 3D world, but what if we living in 4D or 5D? Could we become even much unique in thinking? I have my own opinion on how to top up our thinking dimension, but maybe in the later post. 5. Reading and concerns about world progress Learning is always important for making new prediction or new direction. If I can see the potential about blockchain earlier, maybe today I'm one of the Bitcoin millionaire! If I do concerns more about world progress, it gives me more inspiration to deduct how the future will looks like. Yesterday an article interests me, saying in China using blockchain to manage the grow, environment and selling of chicken farm. From this, I speculate future our government may using blockchain to gives us full time surveillance! This morning I get an idea that we can store anything in blockchain, only if 3D printing can resolve the food issue. It can print anything that we want, theoretically! 6. Create you own This is the most easiest and most difficult! The most difficult is because you need to execute it; the easiest is because it follows what you imagine! The best person for example is Elon Musk! Whatever he predict are the things he is doing now! The best prediction of the future is the one you created! These are the methods I can provide at the moment. We need more futurist as we can march to a brighter future together! Hence, If you do have more methods which can help in think like a futurist, please do not hesitate to leave a comment below. |
