Right now people are wondering if we are on the edge of nuclear war. Many people are wondering when or if the war will start. Recently the United States shot down a Syrian jet that was attacking U.S backed fighters. For the average person who is unaware, this may seem like a non-event, but for those of us who are paying attention, this is bad news. The reason this is bad news is because Russia is actively engaged in helping the Assad government in Syria fight ISIS.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Russia and the Assad government are allies in the war against ISIS. SO why is this important? It's important because an attack against the Assad government forces by the U.S could trigger a huge escalation in Syria with Russia. It is quite obvious that Russia and the United States have a closer relationship than in previous years, so an escalation between both of these super powers in the region may not easily happen. With tensions increasing due to this Syrian jet being shot down, anything could happen at any time.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>With the election of Donald Trump it was assumed that it would not be business as usual when it comes to U.S foreign policy, unfortunately that is not the case, and it really is business as usual. So is Donald Trump really in control of the most powerful seat &nbsp;in the world or are powerful oligarchs in control of the president. It seems as if no matter who is sitting in the Presidential seat, the agenda never changes.</p>\n<p>North Korea has been a hot topic for the start of World war 3 for a few months now. Kim Jung Un seems as if he is goading Donald Trump to attack. Kim Jung Un has been taking many provocative actions trying to see how far he can push the U.S government before the U.S takes action. The question is why would he do that? It is obvious that America has a superior military force to North Korea, so why risk a major conflict? Kim Jung Un may feel confident because he has Nuclear weapons. This may be a reason Kim Jung Un continues to provoke the U.S government or does North Korea have a secret plan? If a conflict does arise with North Korea, the U.S government would have to quickly destroy all of North Korea's nuclear weapons or North Korea could retaliate with one of these weapons.</p>\n<p>A war with North Korea could escalate to a world wide conflict, it is no doubt that other countries like China and Russia would get involved in this war, but to what capacity one only knows.       "body": "<html>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>ARE WE ALONE?</strong></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><img src=\"https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2017/06/17/22/55/ufo-2413965_960_720.jpg\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\"/></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Over the course of my life I have always been interested in ufos and aliens. I remember watching shows on T.L.C and discovery channel when I was kid that discussed this very matter. Hollywood has capitalized on this phenomena and made lots of money from it. The questions that are on everyone's mind is, are they real, and have they ever visited us?</p>\n<p>There are numerous government whistle-blowers who have given testimonies that suggest they have either seen a ufo or come in direct contact with an alien. The question is, how is that possible when the government tells us that aliens have never visited us here on this planet? So the conspiracy theory goes a little something like this, apparently the U.S government has made contact with a particular alien group known as the grays. The grays made an agreement with the U.S government that they would trade technology with them in exchange for letting them take certain humans into their ships for genetic harvesting. The government agreed and told the grays they would have to report how many people they took into their ships. Unfortunately the grays did not report how many people they took and started taking many more people than was expected.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The U.S government was supposedly aware of this but did not stop it because they were getting advanced technology from the grays. So it was a \"win win\" situation. The U.S government got some nice new toys to play with and the grays got the genetic material they needed. So the question is why did the grays need human genetics? Supposedly the grays are a dying race that lost their ability to procreate so they decided to mix their genetics with humans to create a new species.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>All of this may seem like nonsense but there are many people who take this stuff very seriously. For example back in May of 2001 there was a meeting at the National Press Club organized by a man named Steven Greer. Steven Greer brought together 400 ex U.S government employees who had secret knowledge of ufos and aliens. One of these eye witnesses (SGT Clifford Stone) claimed that the U.S government is aware of many different types of aliens and is keeping it secret due to people being unable to handle the truth.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2016/04/14/13/06/landscape-1328858_960_720.jpg\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\"/></p>\n<p>&nbsp;The meeting was called <a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8i-48LpRB9c\">The Disclosure Project</a>, and was attended by a lot of people. Many books, articles and documentaries have been made since The Disclosure Project which discuss the alien phenomena. The information that has been provided by all of these different sources has been convincing for some and not convincing for others. Nonetheless, the question remains are we alone in the universe? With the plethora of stars in our Galaxy alone it is quite possible that one of those stars has a planet that inhabits the Goldilocks zone and allows for life.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If that is the case, then we may not be alone in the universe and there may be simple life forms or even an entire civilization living on another planet. Time will tell whether we are alone or not. With all of the new planets being discovered it may be only a matter of time before we discover alien life. We may even discover simple life forms on planets like mars or watery moons like Europa.&nbsp;</p>\n</html>",

Well, it should be quite obvious, sickness in the world is a business. If diseases and ailments were cured, where would the pharmaceutical companies get all of their money?</p>\n<p>It's in the best interests of the Pharmaceutical companies to keep any cures out of the hands of the little person. There are millions and even billions of dollars to be made from suffering. However, over the years pharmaceutical companies have not necessarily been winning this fight for legalization of marijuana. Many people around the world recognize the medicinal benefits of marijuana and have been fighting for it to be legalized wherever they reside.</p>\n<p>Take for example Canada, on July 1st 2018 Canada will legalize marijuana (<a href=\"http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/liberal-legal-marijuana-pot-1.4041902\">Canada to Legalize Marijuana</a>). This is a huge win for marijuana advocates around the world. Places like Colorado have seen a <a href=\"https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2015/02/12/colorados-legal-weed-market-700-million-in-sales-last-year-1-billion-by-2016/?utm_term=.bd6cf4bb202b\">huge improvement in the &nbsp;economy </a>due to legalization of marijuana. It seems as if governments the world over have a good economic reasons to legalize the healing herb. Canada has decided to put its foot in the race and start with legalizing marijuana all through out Canada.       "body": "BATTLE OF THE GODS \nChapter 1 \nThe Beginning \n \nIn the beginning, there was only source, source was one, and source was good. Yet source desired to experience more, it desired knowledge and it desired evolution. In its supreme wisdom it new it had no choice, in order to evolve, it must die. In a supreme act of compassion and creation Source destroyed itself, but like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the gods and the universe were created, so begins this story. \n\n \nCoronation of the King \n\n \n\"Kneel before me my son\", said Yahweh to Michael. Four seraphim stood around the throne of Yahweh with their wings covering their faces. As Michael knelt the four Seraphim shouted at the same time, \"Praise be the Holy one Yahweh\"! Michael spread his fiery wings of light and knelt before the throne of Yahweh the mighty one. Tears streamed from the eyes of Michael as he was crowned the new king of all the angels. The golden crown of fire descended from the throne of the mighty one and enveloped itself as a spiral of energy around the body of Michael. Michael listened as his brothers and sisters sang the holy coronation song.  \n \nAll of the angels cried as they sang for brother Michael. They knew he deserved this above all the angels in heaven because he defeated the tyrant Lucifer in the great war. The swirling mass of fiery energy manifested itself as a crown on Michaels' head.  \nLight flashed from the body of Michael, heaven trembled, and Michael stood up as jubilation rang out across heaven. Michaels' white robe blew in the heavenly wind and golden fire swirled around Michael. The voice of Yahweh spoke like thunder, \"This is my angelic son the one that has humbled himself before me and exalted my name above all in Heaven, and on Earth\"! \"Let him, my warrior of light be praised\"!\n \nThe entire army of heaven knelt before Michael, Michael then spoke, \"Brothers and sisters, we have defeated the greatest threat that heaven has ever faced, the accuser Lucifer has been thrown down to the pits of hell where he belongs, no more will he accuse the angels of God and the holy father, no more will he tempt us and betray our holy principles, no more will we be subject to his lies and manipulation\"! \"We are finally free, Mount Zion is once again at peace\"! \n \nAll of the heavens erupted in cheering at Michael's powerful words, and the angels sang once again. \n\n \nApollo and Olympus  \n\n \nApollo watched as the beautiful sirens danced for him. One of the sirens stared intently at Apollo trying to get his attention. Her long black hair and her red toga aroused the interest of Apollo. Apollo ran his hands through his blonde hair and licked his lips as he watched her dance sensually for him. Her body moved like a snake as she danced to the beat of the drums. She shook her posterior to the beat of the drums and Apollo became aroused with every move of her body. Apollo bit on his lip because he couldn't contain himself anymore. So he quickly teleported himself from his pool that he sat naked in, grabbed the siren and teleported back to his room.  \nShe looked into his eyes innocently and dropped her red garment. Both of them were now completely naked together. Apollo picked her up, and she wrapped her legs around him. Apollo put her on his bed in the missionary position and made love to her vigorously. \n\nThe beautiful siren screamed in ecstasy as the muscular Apollo thrust into her over and over again. They both rolled over and now she was on top, she rode him over and over again and screamed even more as the two of them made love in Apollo's room.  After and hour Apollo started to reach the point where he was about to climax. As his climax was rising Apollo closed his eyes, the siren then removed a knife from her hair and plunged it into the heart of Apollo and twisted the knife. She put her hand over his mouth as blood gushed out of his mouth. None in Olympus knew what had just happened. The siren assassin removed herself from Apollo's dead body and put her garment back on, cleaned off the knife using Apollo's sheets and fixed her hair.  \n\nShe turned her back to Apollo's dead body and continued to fix herself up. Suddenly she felt a hand reach around and grab her neck. The hand squeezed her neck to a point where she wasn't able to breathe, the person then ripped off her red toga and turned her around. It was Apollo, they both smiled at each other and Apollo tongue kissed her and said, \" I love it when you kill me, next time twist the knife harder\"! \nThe Siren Leah then said, \" Apollo I tire of these silly games you play, when will you marry me\"?  Apollo then replied, \" I could care less for marriage, I only desire your body\". \"Your job isn't to question me, your job is to play my games to my satisfaction\". Leah rolled her eyes, and then said, \" fine Apollo, at least get me a new garment\". Apollo snapped his fingers and a new red garment appeared around her body\". \n \n\"There you go love, now get out\". Leah the siren left Apollo's room in a gripe. Athena walked in as Apollo was wiping the blood off his body, Athena shook her head and said, \"how many hearts are you going to break brother\"? Apollo then responded, \" I'll break as many hearts as I damn well please\". Athena laughed and said, \"Apollo brother, you are so full of yourself\".  \nApollo stood naked in front of Athena, snapped his fingers and then he was covered in a blue robe. Apollo laughed hysterically and said, \"you're too serious sister\". Suddenly Apollo started coughing, the coughing became more aggressive and Apollo started coughing up blood. Athena said, \" Apollo what's wrong\"? Apollo then said, \"I don't know, wait I think that bitch poisoned me\". Apollo fell to his knees and started foaming at the mouth, his eyes rolled back in his head and he lost consciousness. Athena ran over to him, rested his head on her lap and screamed for help. Zeus appeared in Apollo's room instantaneously by magical means and said, \"what happened to Apollo my son\"? \n\nRed veins appeared all around Apollo's chest where Leah stabbed him. Athena then told Zeus that Apollo was playing one of his games with the siren whore Leah and she stabbed him in his chest. Zeus then ordered Athena to find Leah. \nAthena ran out to the front where the other sirens were and screamed at them, \"Where is the whore Leah\"? They all became frightened, one of them spoke up and said that Leah took a celestial boat and left Olympus. Athena demanded to know where Leah was headed, the siren then said, \" I don't know.\" Athena then pulled out her sword and cut off the sirens head in front of the other three sirens. Athena then said, \"If any of you know something you better talk now\". One of the sirens said, \"I heard Leah talking to herself in the garden and she said something about Asgard\".  \n\nAthena then muttered the words, \"Norse dogs\". Athena reported back to Zeus who was still in Apollo's room. Zeus had his head in his hands and asked Athena, \"What did they tell you\"? Athena then said, \"One of the sirens told me Leah left on a celestial boat and she heard Leah talking to herself in the garden about Asgard \". Zeus then said, \"How did she get away so quickly\"? Athen replied, \"She must have made haste\". Zeus then said, \"find her, and kill her, but before you kill her, find out who ordered Apollo to be poisoned\". Athena then asked, \"Do you think the Asgardians ordered Apollo to be poisoned\"? Zeus replied, \"I don't know, but if it was them, then I will rain lightning down on them\". \"We must get the antidote or Apollo will die\". \"The poison from the green fire plant is the only poison that can kill a god, and the antidote is in Asgard\". \"If the Asgardians have sent an assassin then they have broken the celestial rules and war is inevitable\"! \n \nZeus stood up from the chair that was next to Apollo's bed and told her to take Artemis with her to find Leah and the antidote. Athena left the room in a haste to find Artemis. Artemis was out in the celestial fields hunting, Athena found Artemis and told her what was going on. Artemis couldn't believe that Apollo was poisoned. Artemis wanted to see Apollo but Athena told her Zeus wanted them to leave right away to find Leah and the Antidote. Athena and Artemis prepared themselves by putting on their battle armor and getting weapons out of the weapon room. Artemis took her magical silver snake adorned bow and Athena took the royal lightning blade as her second weapon of choice.  Both of them headed towards the celestial port, got onto a celestial boat and set sail towards Asgard.  \n\n \nLeah  \n\n \nLeah used the amulet she had stolen from Apollo to open a snake tunnel, that would allow her to get to Asgard instantaneously. Leah arrived and made it to Asgard safely. She pulled up to Asgard's celestial port and stepped out of her boat. She was greeted by one of her contacts. A big burly man named Aalgoth with a red beard and tattered clothing greeted her, he then asked her if she completed the task. She answered and told him that she fulfilled her end of the bargain. Leah could hear Nordic music being played at the tavern near the port.  \nAalgoth climbed on top of his brown steed and helped Leah get on top of the steed, both of them began riding towards the tavern. Leah then asked Aalgoth why the music was so loud and Aalgoth told her that there was a celebration going on. Leah asked what they were celebrating and Aalgoth told her they were celebrating a marriage. The music began to quiet down as Aalgoth and Leah approached the Tavern.  \n\nAfter Leah and Aalgoth reached the tavern which was located on the outskirts of Asgard, they both got off the horse and walked into the tavern. Many of the men in the tavern were drinking mead, and the few women in the tavern were drunk. Leah was disgusted by what he saw, she wished she could go back to Olympus but knew she would be killed if she returned. Aalgoth said to her let's go upstairs, she is waiting for you there. Aalgoth and Leah went up the stairs to a room at the end of the hallway.   \n \nAalgoth and Leah walked to the end of the hallway and he opened the door for Leah. Leah entered the room and there was Freya. Freya asked her if she completed the task, Leah told her that she fulfilled her end of the bargain. Freya smiled and put her blonde hair behind her right ear, and picked up a bag that was sitting on the table. Freya handed Leah the bag and said, \"here is your reward\". As Leah reached out to grab the bag Freya dropped the bag on the floor and said, \"oops, clumsy me, you can pick it up\". Leah bent over to pick up the bag and Freya pulled out a knife from behind her back, Leah stood up with the bag in her hand and Freya quickly slit Leah's throat. Leah dropped the bag and blood came running down her neck all over her red garment. \n  \nLeah stumbled and held her throat as she saw death closing in on her, she fell to the ground and began to lose consciousness. Blood bubbled from her mouth as she drew her last breath. Freya called in Aalgoth and told him to take Leah out back deep into the forest and burn Leah's dead body. Aalgoth picked up Leah's body and headed out back. Freya took a small piece of magical paper out of her pocket and said, \"Apollo is dead, how may I serve you further master\"? The same words she spoke appeared on the paper, then the words disappeared. Suddenly new words appeared on the magic piece of paper. The words said, \"Wait for further instruction my faithful disciple\". Freya picked up the bloody knife on the table, picked up the bag Leah had dropped, went down stairs and left the tavern. Freya got on top of her red steed and headed for the heart of Asgard.   \n\n \nThe Conspiracy \n\n  \nLoki walked through the Asgardian garden with his brother Thor. Thor spoke to Loki and said, \"one day brother, all of this will be mine, our father Odin will grant me rulership of his kingdom and I will rule just like him, I will be a great king, don't you think brother\"? Loki hesitated and then answered Thor, \"yes brother, you will be an amazing king\". Thor put Loki in a headlock with his right arm and playfully said, \"brother don't tell me you are jealous of me\". Loki responded, \"no brother I'm not jealous of you, but I think you will be a much better king than our father\". Thor interrupted Loki and said, \"Brother don't say such things, I could never outshine the All-Father\". \n\nLoki played coy and said, \"I guess you are in the right brother\". The All-Father is truly the greatest of all the gods in the nine realms and beyond\". Loki continued, \"so how is your relationship with the lovely Anya\"? Thor tried to act tough, \"I don’t have time for such silly childish things\". Loki then said, \" It's that bad\"? Thor then said, \"Brother you pry too much\". \nLoki then excused himself and told Thor that he had important business to attend to with is magical training. After saying their goodbyes Loki left. Suddenly the emergency horn was blown. Thor and Loki knew that it meant that visitors had arrived from outside of Asgard. Thor rushed to his father's throne room to find out what was going on, and Loki continued to his room uninterested by the horn. When Thor finally arrived at the throne room he saw two female warriors that he did not recognize. Athena and Artemis stood before Odin staring intently at him. Odin then asked, \"What do I owe this visit from the daughters of Zeus\". \n\nAthena then spoke, \"my brother Apollo was poisoned by one of his whores, she is an Olympian siren and we found out that she was headed to Asgard\". Odin then asked, \"what is the name of this siren\"? Athena then answered, \"Her name is Leah\". Odin then said, \"we will put out the word that an Olympian fugitive whore is in Asgard, I will have my guards escort you back to the celestial port and you may leave and return to Olympus\". Artemis then spoke and said, \"your grace, we ask if we may stay here and help with the search for Leah, our father Zeus has said we must return with her and the antidote to the poison\". Athena continued, \"my brother Apollo was poisoned by the green fire plant that resides here in Asgard, we need the antidote or he will die\". \n\nOdin stroked his long gray beard for a few moments as he sat on his Platinum throne staring intently at the two female warriors. He then said, \"fine, you may stay and help with the search efforts, but once you have found her you must leave immediately, we don't want the locals to get wind of two Olympian warriors roaming around in Asgard\". Odin continued, \"I will have our healers prepare the antidote and it will be ready when you return with the fugitive\". Athena then asked, \"my grace, who will be leading the search team\"? Odin replied, \"I will send for my son Loki to lead the search team with four soldiers\". Thor then said, \"father let me go with Loki to find this fugitive\". Odin then replied, \"no my son, let your brother Loki take the lead on this one\". Thor was incensed but kept it to himself and left the throne room.\n\n Two soldiers escorted Athena and Artemis outside of the throne room and Odin sent one of his guards to Loki's room.  \n \nAs Loki was training he heard a knock on his door, impatiently he asked, \"who is it and what do you want\"? The soldier then responded, \"your father has requested you to the throne room\". Loki then said, \" I'll be right there\". Loki finished his training, grabbed his staff and proceeded to make his way to the throne room. Loki stood before his father Odin and bowed before him. Loki then said, \"how may I be of service to you father\". Odin stood up and said, \"I have a job for you my son, two Olympian warriors have come to Asgard, they are searching for a fugitive named Leah, she is hiding somewhere in Asgard, I need you to lead the Search to find her\". Loki then replied, \"yes father, as you command\". Loki then asked, \"where are these Olympian brutes\"? Odin laughed and replied, \"Loki my son things are not always that easy to discern, you will find them in the banquet hall\". \n\nLoki proceeded to make his way to the banquet hall and saw an Asgardian warrior named Glendal arm wrestling a woman. Loki wondered who this woman was. He didn't recognize her and had never seen her before inside of Valhalla. Glendal was a giant man with black hair and a long black beard with silver armor, yet somehow this little woman was winning the arm wrestling contest with Glendal. Loki watched intently as this woman easily defeated Glendal. Loki then realized that she must be the Olympian warrior his father had told him about. \n\n Loki then walked towards her with his staff and she looked in his direction. She then said, \"have you come to be defeated also\"? Loki then replied, \"please forgive me, let me introduce myself, my name is Loki, son of Odin, what is your name\"? My name is Athena, and this is Artemis, we are from....\"Loki interrupted and said, \" I know where you are from, you're an Olympian\". Loki stuck his hand out to shake her hand. She grabbed his hand with a strong grip. Loki winced in pain, and continued, \"I've heard that Olympian women are beautiful, but the rumors do you no justice\". He quickly pulled his right hand away from her and shook his hand in pain. \n \nGlendal laughed and said, \" Loki you need more meat on those bones, you let a woman make you feel pain\". Artemis turned to Glendal and said, \"as I seem to recall, a woman just bested you in an arm wrestling contest\". All of the soldiers and warriors in the banquet hall laughed at Glendal. Loki gave Glendal a sarcastic smirk and then said to Athena and Artemis, \"It's time to leave, ladies first\". Athena then replied, \"yes, that's why you should go first\". All of the men including Glendal fell off their chairs with uncontrollable laughter\". Loki then muttered, \"I guess Olympians also have a healthy sense of humor\". \n\nLoki then walked ahead of Athena and Artemis and began to make his way out of the palace. Once Loki and the Olympian warriors arrived outside, Loki turned to Athena and said, \"this will be a lot easier if I knew what this woman you are looking for looks like\". Just as Athena was about to open her mouth, Loki put his index and middle fingers on his right hand together. He then put his fingers on the forehead of Athena. Athena's eyes suddenly turned white, and so did the eyes of Loki. Loki then said to Athena, \"visualize this woman so I may know what she looks like. Artemis was visibly startled but understood what was going on.  \n\nAthena began to visualize Leah in her head. Loki saw the appearance of Leah, and what she looked like. He saw her long flowing black hair her purple eyes and her red scantly clad body with her Olympian toga. \nLoki severed the connection once he saw what she looked like. Athena's eyes became normal, and she then said to Loki, \"You are a sorcerer, you just might be useful\". Loki then said, \"I'm not finished yet, in order for our search to be successful I need to cast a locating spell\". \n\nLoki stomped the bottom of his black staff on the ground and the blue jewel sitting on top of his staff started to glow. Suddenly a gust of wind appeared out of nowhere and a dark cloud appeared in front of them.  \nAn image of Leah slowly materialized in the cloud, Loki saw her get off a celestial boat, with a big burly man, and go to the tavern on the outskirts of Asgard. Loki stopped the image and said, \"I believe she went to the tavern\". Athena asked, \"why can't we see more\"? Loki then said, \"I can only generate an image for a few seconds, I am still learning how to prolong images from my staff\". Athena replied, \"fine, we will go to the tavern and figure out where she went from there\". Loki left for the outskirts of Asgard with, Athena, Artemis, and the four soldiers.\n \nFreya, one of the Asgardian warriors returned home to Valhalla after Loki and the Olympian warriors left. One of the palace guards helped Freya off her steed and greeted her. Freya walked through the palace gates into the palace and there she was met by a messenger who told her that Odin would like to have a word with her.  \n\nFreya made her way into the throne room and bowed before Odin. The All-Father Odin asked her, \"How was the celebration\"? Freya responded, \"we ate, we reveled, we fought, it was a wonderful celebration\".  Odin then said, \"have the bride and groom consummated their marriage\"? Freya responded, \"yes they have my grace\". Odin replied, \"that is good to hear\". Odin then continued, \"There are two Olympian warriors hear searching for a siren woman named Leah, have you seen an Olympian woman on the outskirts of Asgard\". Freya responded, \"no I have not your grace\". Odin smiled and said, \"good, you are dismissed\".  \n \nTo be continued    \n  \n By: O. G. Carr",

      "body": "I am mostly a visual person so when I was a kid I preferred reading comic books. Unfortunately, I don't have any of my old comic books.  I liked DC, Marvel, and there were a couple of non-mainstream comic books I read but I don't quite remember their names.  Thanks for asking.",
