The teenage brother jumped over the wall and tried to tell the police they could kill him with their tasers because of his recently diagnosed heart problem.\n\nThe police held them for the weekend and refused bail on Monday. The boy with the heart problem has been in the infirmary after being tased three times.       "body": "“The Curse of Oak Island,” has begun connecting the dots of the Knights Templar to American exploration. I wish the show would continue all year because this historical detective work can be valuable and is incredibly interesting.\n\nDid the Knights Templar travel to Oak Island and the Caribbean to free the people from corruption? When you look at the historical details and the wording of the treaties signed, the goals of the Knights appear. Read the historical facts and see them trying to set up safe places. Locations in the new world for the safe-keeping of their treasures and possible places to develop basic freedoms. The Knights Templar were motivated.\n\nBen Franklin wrote these words on the corruption of the Bank of England, “The refusal of King George III to allow the colonies to operate an honest money system, which freed the ordinary man from the clutches of the money manipulators was probably the prime cause of the revolution.” There have been many centuries of fighting for freedom.\n\nHere we are, standing free in what was fought for. Let’s use this freedom wisely. Oak Island has revealed more question than answers for hundreds of years. This island continues to expose twice as many clues for every minuscule find. Some Oak Island enthusiasts stifle their search in an attempt to only move forward in proven facts. That is one approach, but I say let us take a leap of faith and believe that the Knights Templar have been to Oak Island.\n\nOnce you place one block firmly in place, you have a cornerstone that frees you to proceed. I am not stating with 100% certainty that the Knights were here a millennium ago, but I can share enough information that may allow you to build on that block and see where it leads.\n\nZena Halpern published a book of a Knights Templar journal, “The Templar Mission to Oak Island and Beyond.” The ink was carbon-dated and the signature confirmed by the Vatican to be a Knight that lived from the year 1133-1192. The journal is a journey to a new world, but does not prove that Oak Island, Nova Scotia is the Isle of Oaks that they referred to in the journal. It is an interesting fact that Oak Island on old maps was called Gloucester Island and the Knight who wrote the journal was born in Gloucestershire, England.\n\nThis search is for proof of the Knights Templar Connection and I want to pose a few things I came across. I hope there is enough information so that this can be researched and answered.\n\nThe Knights Templar were in Nova Scotia in the 1600’s, 40 km from Oak Island. Samuel de Champlain mapped Port de La Heve, naming the river after where he sailed from in France. After the 1632 Treaty of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, which returned Acadia to France, Lieutenant-General Isaac de Raziily built Fort Sainte Marie de Grace and established a colony in the new world. Interesting fact, At the age of 18, Isaac was appointed a knight of the order of Saint John of Jerusalem, also called the Knights of Malta.\n2. Serving under Isaac de Razilly was Phillipe de Longvillier de Poincy, and after his time spent in Nova Scotia near Oak Island, he went on to the Caribbean. This Knight of Malta arrived in St. Kitts and denounced the King of France and took the Caribbean island for the Knights. The Knights Templar purchased this island along with four other Caribbean Islands. This is a whole story and poses many more questions and ties between the islands.\n\nA book called, “The Ark of St. Croix,” written by JP Noel has vanished.  It is hard to hide something today, but this book is not for sale on Amazon or ebay. I have not been able to contact the author. The only reference I can find in the worldwide library is one copy in Germany. The book gives a historical account of why the Ark Of The Covenant was hidden on the island of St. Croix, and I was able to read an original printing from a friend of mine that lives on St. Croix, USVI. I think there must be something inside the pages that makes it worthy of obliteration.  The ties to the Knights in the two locations of Oak Island and St. Kitts and St. Croix, USVI are recorded in history and a very interesting fact. Could they have been placing their treasure and beginning a new society in the new world?\n\nIn the book, “The Templar Mission to Oak Island and Beyond,” on page 298 is an azimuth line connecting Oak Island to the Caribbean. I don’t think they were aware of the Templar Connection, and did not mention the islands that were owned by the Knights of Malta, but these azimuth lines could be looked into. The book also shows a stone with the coordinates that align with the Notre Dame Basilica in Quebec, Canada. I don’t know if it is a known fact, or interesting to note that this church is where Champlain left half of his fortune to when he died.\n\nWithin this mystery, one can see that the more you unravel the more strings of questions unwind. I believe that there are answers to be found, it is just that they are kept hidden. In fact, Presidents Day saw a rise not only in bitcoin but also in solarcoin and many other coins. I am very excited to see the world encouraging solar power, and the power of good without so much greed.\n\nI am a believer in cryptocurrencies making the world a better place, but also think that most of the 1500 coins created will evaporate like the dotcom bubble. There are similarities in the investment craze of 1999 and the present. As we recently witnessed in the beginning of the 21st century, the market will right itself. Just because people temporarily give value to random ideas, does not make the value last.\n\nGoogle is a good example, there were other platforms, but most evaporated as one rose to the top. The ideas that rose and stood the test of time had a solid business plan along with a market niche. Look for cryptocurrency that solves a problem and fulfills a need. The lendconnect coin could offer a solution if it were not a greedy ponzi scheme. Just because a cryptocurrency is rising does not make it a good investment.\n\nThe most interesting part of this exciting new world is the blockchain. I am on an Oak Island Facebook group, but they are inconsistent about theories they will entertain. I think the open-minds on Steem can learn from the past...\n\nMy Great+5 Grandfather was one of the first men to be obsessed with the strange place in Nova Scotia, and the first man to accept defeat from the mysterious island. Little did he know, how many more men would follow him and also fail in the quest.\n\nEveryone interested in Oak Island is in search of answers. There are many theories, some a little more out-of-this-world than others, but they are all equally unsubstantiated. Although my family has been looking since the day the search began, we have no more of an answer than anyone else.\n\nThere is not much about Oak Island that makes sense, but there are reactions that lead to logical conclusions when you take the time to look. Proof is not always tangible, but some things are so obvious that they do not need to be questioned and proved. The following facts are not just based on stories, but on the life that was led.\n\n1. We may never know if the three men, Daniel, Anthony, and John, discovered a tackle hanging from a tree or even a depression. We can know for certain that whatever they saw in the money pit area took hold of all three of them and changed the course of their lives.\n2. There is no documented remnants of wooden platforms every ten feet, only stories about the dig. What we do know beyond a shadow of a doubt is that they were motivated to keep digging. If there was no flagstone, no platforms, no loose dirt and pick-ax marks along the walls of the pit, do you think they would have kept digging for a hundred feet? Just ask yourself the question, and let me remind you that these men were not retired or bored. They had families to feed and a lot of other hard work to be doing.\n3. Oak Island nuts say that enough people saw the inscribed stone that it may have been real, but even without the proof of the strange code, we have the sweat-equity of a second 100 foot hole. These three men found something that motivated them to overcome the first flood and dig a second hole and eventually continue on after a second flooding. Even if we don't have proof of what it was, we know that it was something very real.\n4. Some Acorns say that the treasure was found during this first dig. If that were the case, I seriously doubt Anthony and John would have spent there later years still digging. I just don't think that digging deep, vertical holes for no reason is any fun.\n5. Some people say that the dig was just a hoax. The life he led portrays Daniel dying with the elusive treasure on his mind. Why do I think that he never gave up believing? I will tell you why, because he passed down enough information to keep his descendants on the quest. His Will and Testament left his property on Oak Island to his sons and daughters. No one would perpetrate a plan to follow the family like a curse, Daniel must have believed in this treasure-hunt with all his heart. The obsession Daniel began, did not stop with his children, each generation was also driven to send their children to search and so on down the line for 200 years.\nWe may never know what Daniel found, or what information he discovered, but we can clearly see what he did with it. He passed down what he thought was valuable. Ask yourself, is there a father or grandfather that would try to mislead his entire family? By the lives led and actions of McGinnis men from 1795-1983, I say that it is obvious that Daniel found something very compelling on Oak Island.\n\n\n\nCALL TO ACTION\n\nI have no tangible proof to show where the gold cross was discovered, but I think it needs further research. I can share the facts that the next three generations of the McGinnis family lived in two small houses on Oak Island and did not have money to buy a unique piece of jewelry. And it is unique, I have searched the web for a similar design and believe this to be a one of a kind. On the “Curse of Oak Island,” a specialist said that the cross was made of Rosy-Gold from South America. The expert estimated it to be about 400 years old. I am in search of anyone that can do a Laser Ablation test. The procedure will not harm the piece because the instructions handed down with the cross were to keep it safe and treat it as a key. My mother, aunt and I are in search of factual information that we can get from the cross, if anyone can put me in contact with a lab willing to do a test that can show age without harming the piece please contact me.
