When unable to prove a flat Earth model, some flat-earth followers will say that the flat Earth model is still under study, and natural when imperfect. "But," there is certainly a continuation, "the most important is how we fight the global elite and save the world from a handful of bad guys." The real fact is that this global elite is a mere article. The global elite is merely an ad-hoc hypothesis created to patch so many inconsistencies on flat Earth models. The global elite exists only because it is not possible to explain flat Earth theory without slandering others in a conspiracy. Let us analyze an ad-hoc hypothesis chain below: 1. Earth is flat. 2. Antarctica is the edge of the Earth, not the continent, but is the giant ice wall that surrounds the Earth. 3. We can not go there to make sure, there is a global elite banning us. Without a conspiracy at 3, the number 2 will still be an open hypothesis, and will only be known to the truth once we send the investigating team there. But they do not want us to know the truth! So, they just specify that it's impossible to go there by creating conspiracy theories at 3. By doing so, they do not give anyone a chance to prove number 2. They assume only 2 true because there will never be any evidence to the contrary. If anyone ever gets to the South Pole, it will be accused of lying, or is part of a conspiracy. In this way, 1 cannot be proved untrue (not falsifiable) due to the conspiracy theories at 3, which is also not falsifiable. The only way to prove the existence of a global elite is to go back to the next step and prove the true form of Earth. The earth is round, then there can be no global elite hiding the 'fact' that the Earth is flat. | body |

commons.wikimedia

One of the most prominent features in the history of the development of physics is the unification of the laws of nature into a single idea that can explain two or more things that were previously considered unrelated. Isaac Newton can be noted as a successful originator in this unification effort, where his gravitational theory can explain that the force that causes apples to fall to earth is the same as that which causes the moon to circle the earth. The incorporation of the celestial and terrestial forces into one which he calls the force of gravity proves a fantastic thing about the forces acting in nature. Three hundred years later, James Maxwell, a Scottish physicist, was also successful in combining two previously perceived phenomena: electricity and magnetism. Maxwell's electromagnetic equation shows that two distinct natural phenomena turn out to be actually derived from the same principle. The next unification becomes one of the main agenda of physicists to be able to explain the various styles that work in nature into one single idea or one parent equation that can certainly explain everything. Albert Einstein originated a general theory of relativity that improved Newton's theory of gravity, also attempted to unify it. He tried to combine the force of gravity with the electromagnet force because both work in the same universe and move at the speed of light, so it is suspected both have the same basic thing. Until the end of his lifetime, the effort of merging these two styles failed to be done by Einstein. Einstein's efforts are unsuccessful, since the general theory of general relativity that has succeeded in explaining how the universe works and predicted in space-time based on the force of gravity cannot be combined with the electromagnet force which is also the working force in the very small universe, the atom and the sub- atom, which is based on the principle of uncertainty where the level of events can only be predicted with probability only.

commons.wikimedia

The development of physics shows that there are four basic styles that work in this universe. The four basic forces are so far explained by two theories: quantum mechanics which describes the existence of three fundamental forces acting on an atomic scale; while there is one more force to work in the great universe (ie gravity). The three basic forces in this atomic scale are the electromagnetic force (which binds the electrons to the atomic nucleus and the underlying interactions between atoms), the strong core force (which causes the protons and neutrons in the nucleus are not mutually rejected) and the weak nucleus force the case of beta ray decay) has been successfully tried combined with so-called standard models. But the attempt to combine these two great theories has not worked; likewise when trying to combine one or the three basic forces of quantum mechanics with the force of gravity has never worked (as Einstein did). This becomes an interesting challenge for physicists because to explain some natural phenomena, these four basic styles must be able to explain them appropriately. For example, in the event of the creation of the universe called the Big Bang where there is a very large energy emergence when atoms have not been formed at all; or the black hole when the mass of a very large star shrinks its volume drastically becomes very small. So far attempts to explain both events by combining the four basic forces have never been successful, one of the reasons is that there is no single theory to use. Some physicists believe that the universe is based on a single theory rather than what is tried separately by the theory of general relativity and quantum mechanics. For this reason, physicists try to combine the four basic forces in a single theory. This is certainly a search effort in extraordinarily heavy science, considering the efforts made by Einstein was trying to combine the electromagnetic force with the force of gravity just did not bring results. The String Theory (String Theory) is an attempt to formulate the four basic forces that are being worked on by today's various physicists. The essence of this theory is very simple, all particles in nature are composed of wavelengths of energy smaller than electrons. This string theory states that all the particles in this universe and all the forces that cause the interacting matter are made from the vibrations of that energy. The difference in the vibration energy of this strand is so unique that it causes the appearance of particles with different mass and charge eg. This theory began to be initiated in the late 1960s decade and has the development up and down. In the 1980s the challenge in string theory was the existence of an anomaly of calculations, where the equation calculations found different results (a mathematical inconsistency). Fortunately, in 1984 this was solved. The next challenge is the development of this string theory into five variations, which of course confuses the activists, how can a basic theory of the universe that attempts to combine the four basic styles can have different versions? Which version is the right one? Fortunately, in the mid-1990s these five theories could be combined into a single theory which was then called M-theory. If this theory is true then it will be helpful in explaining the events of the origin of the universe or the formation of Black Holes. Unfortunately, so far the String Theory has no confirmation that can be obtained through laboratory experimentation. Though science including physics in it is the proof of a theory through experiments that must be replicated by other parties or in the case of astronomy and geology through observation. So the status of String Theory cannot be accepted as a scientific truth. In fact, some physicists consider it a new class of philosophy, some even mention this theory potential wrong and level with science fiction only. Some reasons why there has been no experimental evidence supporting this theory suggests that string theory physicists cannot yet fully understand this theory. The other thing is that the so-called strings of energy are very, very small (about one trillionth of an atom's size), where technologies such as accelerators and detectors are not yet able to sense them. Different at the time of science in the last three centuries that has not been developed for example, where only by observation alone, scientists can conceptualize a theory (eg the story of the fall of apples observed by Newton and the formulation of the theory of gravity). While at the present time shows that the more advanced and sophisticated one discipline of science (in this case modern physics), then the proof of a theory through experiment should be done and that too usually hinted from the theory. Unfortunately, in the case of string theory, until now we can not do that yet. Maxwell's electromagnetic equation shows that two distinct natural phenomena turn out to be actually derived from the same principle.\n\n\nThe next unification becomes one of the main agenda of physicists to be able to explain the various styles that work in nature into one single idea or one parent equation that can certainly explain everything. Einstein's efforts are unsuccessful, since the general theory of general relativity that has succeeded in explaining how the universe works and predicted in space-time based on the force of gravity cannot be combined with the electromagnet force which is also the working force in the very small universe, the atom and the sub- atom, which is based on the principle of uncertainty where the level of events can only be predicted with probability only.\n\n
\n
\n \n
\n commons.wikimedia\n
\n
\n\nThe development of physics shows that there are four basic styles that work in this universe. But the attempt to combine these two great theories has not worked; likewise when trying to combine one or the three basic forces of quantum mechanics with the force of gravity has never worked (as Einstein did).\n\nThis becomes an interesting challenge for physicists because to explain some natural phenomena, these four basic styles must be able to explain them appropriately. For example, in the event of the creation of the universe called the Big Bang where there is a very large energy emergence when atoms have not been formed at all; or the black hole when the mass of a very large star shrinks its volume drastically becomes very small. So far attempts to explain both events by combining the four basic forces have never been successful, one of the reasons is that there is no single theory to use.\n\nSome physicists believe that the universe is based on a single theory rather than what is tried separately by the theory of general relativity and quantum mechanics. For this reason, physicists try to combine the four basic forces in a single theory. This is certainly a search effort in extraordinarily heavy science, considering the efforts made by Einstein was trying to combine the electromagnetic force with the force of gravity just did not bring results.\n\nThe String Theory (String Theory) is an attempt to formulate the four basic forces that are being worked on by today's various physicists. The essence of this theory is very simple, all particles in nature are composed of wavelengths of energy smaller than electrons. | body |
After centuries of thought about the universe dominated by the Ptolemy model, the heliocentric system of Copernicus thought produced a revolution of human understanding of the universe. This Copernicus view then sparked a revolution of understanding of the universe initiated by Tycho Brahe with his observations followed by Johannes Kepler and produced Kepler's laws of planetary motion.
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/cf/Hubble_sees_a_cosmic_caterpillar.jpg/800px-Hubble_sees_a_cosmic_caterpillar.jpg

commons.wikimedia
A contemporary of Kepler in Italy lived a mathematician and astronomer named Galileo Galilei. As a forward-thinking man of his day, he contributed quite a lot to the progress of the world of astronomy. Using his own homemade telescope he managed to observe the massive satellites of Jupiter (Io, Callisto, Ganymede, and Europa) later called Galilean satellites. The results of his findings are then poured into a book titled Sidereus Nuncius (Duta Bintang). He also made many observations on the planet Venus and found that Venus has phases like the moon.

commons.wikimedia

However, his greatest contribution is in the field of mechanics. To test the view of the movement of objects he experimented with many ways such as a pendulum, dropped objects (according to legend he had done one of his experiments in the oblique tower of Pisa), incline, and so on. According to Aristotle when two different objects of weight are dropped, the heavier objects will reach the ground first. Galileo proves that these two objects will fall on the ground at the same time, the time difference is due to air resistance (astronauts on the surface of the moon have done this experiment, and indeed when two different objects of weight are dropped, both reach the surface of the moon at the same time). Galileo's next contribution was his concept of inertia. Based on his experiments, he concludes that if there is no external impulse, all objects tend to maintain their state, whether it is still or moving at a constant speed. Then Galileo observed that when an object is accelerated, like when dropped or rolled on a sloping plane, the speed increase will be uniform, at the same time interval they will get the same speed increase.

commons.wikimedia

The thought of Kepler and Galileo paved the way for Sir Isaac Newton (1643-1727) to formulate the laws of his gravity. His greatest contribution is his opinion that the motion of falling objects, the moon's orbits around the earth, and the orbits of the planets around the sun follow the same law. This view then changes the human view of the universe, it can be understood using simple laws. The universe is then regarded as a deterministic "clockwork" and follows the law of cause and effect absolutely. Newton's thought, which was then poured into the great work of Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica, could be regarded as one of the great revolutions in human understanding of the universe. Even at that moment, there was the thought that the basic laws that controlled the universe were fully understood. In Newton's view the universe is seen as static, has no central, infinite size, and its like stars are equally distributed throughout the universe. In a letter sent to a friend, Richard Bentley, Newton says there are parts of the more compressed and less-compressed universe, the more compressed parts will attract the less compressed parts of its gravity and this will produce planets like planets -planets and stars. Newton's thinking established the view that the universe is a clockwork system in which God is the Original Mover. This Newtonian view dominated the European scientific world at that time for more than two hundred years, until when Albert Einstein formulated the theory of special and general relativity.

pixabay

When Einstein formulated the general theory of relativity, and then applied to the universe, he found that his theory foretold the development of the universe. Because he follows Newton's view and believes that the universe is static, he then incorporates a constant into the general relativity equation to neutralize the effects of this development and this constant is then called the cosmological constant. If only he did not include this constant, he would give the greatest discovery in the history of science, namely the development of the universe. After he got the proof that the universe had undergone development as demonstrated by Edwin Hubble's observations of the United States he later regretted his actions as what he called the greatest blunders of his career. Based on this theory of general relativity, some cosmologists then try to model the universe, as proposed by Alexander Friedmann, Willem de Sitter, and Georges-Henri Lemaitre, a priest from Belgium. Lemaitrê was the first to propose that the universe came from something he called an ancient atom whose size thirty times the size of the Sun. This ancient atom exploded and split into galaxies and stars expanding in all directions. Lemaitre's universe model is continuously refined by several researchers such as Robertson and Walker which show that the universe is curved and every point in the universe moves together following the development of the universe. However, in addition to the model developed by Lemaitrê and friends, there is another universe model developed by Fred Hoyle, Hermann Bondi, and Thomas Gold called the steady-state model. Here they argue that the universe is always the same in space and time and there is no such thing as the explosive process that produced the present universe, and they even make fun of this explosion process by the name of Big Bang (Big Bang). Based on Hubble's observation of the development of the universe, they hold that the universe is expanding, but the state is always fixed because every moment at every point in the universe occurs the process of creating matter that is the basic material of the universe, the hydrogen atoms out of nothing. These atoms will in turn become the stars and galaxies of the inhabitants of the entire universe. So if the Big Bang theory states that the creation of the universe takes place only once, then the steady-state theory holds that the process of creation takes place every time and everywhere, and this universe is always the same and continues throughout its time. Steady-state theory is quite interesting because it can break away from the problem of the creation process itself, including the possibility of a Creator that allows the emergence of this universe. Indeed, until now in the stronghold of the theory of the Big Bang, there is still a pretty heated debate about the existence or absence of the Creator who made the process of creation. One disadvantage of this steady-state theory is the process of creating material that goes on continuously from nothing against the law of conservation of the masses. However, the proponents of the steady-state theory say that the creation of the universe through a process of explosions in the distant past is no more plausible than the creation of the hydrogen atoms of the stars from their absence. Another weakness is the absence of this steady-state theory from observation. As astronomers observe the distant distance (which means moving further into the past), they see more quasars (quasi-stellar radio sources) than at closer distances. They also see more of the process of star creation in the past than in the present. This means that these two phenomena are more common in the past than in the present, and this is in contrast to the steady-state theory because if the universe is always the same, then this quasar will also be at a great distance. Another objection is that this steady-state theory can not explain why the universe is developing; the development of the universe has been considered "taken for granted" in this theory. Furthermore, the deadly blow to this steady-state theory is the discovery of background cosmic radiation interpreted as the radiation of the remainder of the process that gave birth to our universe. Finally, the steady state theory is now only a part of the history of modern cosmology, and the Big Bang model is the single most accepted model of the universe to date. In addition to observing the process of developing the universe, the model of the Big Bang universe is supported by two other things, namely observing the background cosmic radiation interpreted as radiation from the remnants of a blast process that went far in the past (discovered by Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson in 1965 and for this discovery they received the Nobel Prize in 1978), and the corresponding observations with the theoretical results on the abundance of hydrogen, helium and lithium elements resulted in the formation of the basic elements immediately after the Big Bang took place. The Babylonian cosmic story only applies to the Babylonians, the Maya cosmic story only to the Aztecs, and so on. However, with the acceptance of the Big Bang model as the only valid universe model, it is for the first time that mankind has a universal cosmic story, overcoming various nations and languages. In addition, this cosmic story also uses a universal language as well, namely the language of physics and mathematics. In this modern age, we live in a time in which the universe becomes an object very far from us, both physically and existentially, so we never feel part of the universe itself. The implications of this are the terrible things we see every day. We are now faced with a divided world. We see many wars with religious motives, resources, politics, power, money, and so on. We observe the surroundings we destroy without thinking about the impact on our children and grandchildren. All this is done as if we are the ruler of nature and the environment around us so that they all become objects that can be mastered and treated at will. This begins as people begin to see the universe in a rational way, and they begin to distance themselves from the universe. The peak of human joy occurs in modern times when humans see the universe as an object that can be dissected using their rationality knife through physical and mathematical analysis. This joy makes humans do not feel a part of the universe. However, precisely at the peak of this joy rationality leads them to a single cosmic story in the Big Bang model. Then Galileo observed that when an object is accelerated, like when dropped or rolled on a sloping plane, the speed increase will be uniform, at the same time interval they will get the same speed increase.\n\n
\n
\n \n
\n commons.wikimedia\n
\n
\n\nThe thought of Kepler and Galileo paved the way for Sir Isaac Newton (1643-1727) to formulate the laws of his gravity. His greatest contribution is his opinion that the motion of falling objects, the moon's orbits around the earth, and the orbits of the planets around the sun follow the same law. This view then changes the human view of the universe, it can be understood using simple laws. The universe is then regarded as a deterministic \"clockwork\" and follows the law of cause and effect absolutely.\n\nNewton's thought, which was then poured into the great work of Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica, could be regarded as one of the great revolutions in human understanding of the universe. Even at that moment, there was the thought that the basic laws that controlled the universe were fully understood.\n\nIn Newton's view the universe is seen as static, has no central, infinite size, and its like stars are equally distributed throughout the universe. In a letter sent to a friend, Richard Bentley, Newton says there are parts of the more compressed and less-compressed universe, the more compressed parts will attract the less compressed parts of its gravity and this will produce planets like planets -planets and stars.\n\nNewton's thinking established the view that the universe is a clockwork system in which God is the Original Mover. This Newtonian view dominated the European scientific world at that time for more than two hundred years, until when Albert Einstein formulated the theory of special and general relativity.\n\n
\n
\n \n
\n pixabay\n
\n
\n\nWhen Einstein formulated the general theory of relativity, and then applied to the universe, he found that his theory foretold the development of the universe. Because he follows Newton's view and believes that the universe is static, he then incorporates a constant into the general relativity equation to neutralize the effects of this development and this constant is then called the cosmological constant. If only he did not include this constant, he would give the greatest discovery in the history of science, namely the development of the universe. After he got the proof that the universe had undergone development as demonstrated by Edwin Hubble's observations of the United States he later regretted his actions as what he called the greatest blunders of his career.\n\nBased on this theory of general relativity, some cosmologists then try to model the universe, as proposed by Alexander Friedmann, Willem de Sitter, and Georges-Henri Lemaitre, a priest from Belgium. Lemaitrê was the first to propose that the universe came from something he called an ancient atom whose size thirty times the size of the Sun. This ancient atom exploded and split into galaxies and stars expanding in all directions.\n\nLemaitre's universe model is continuously refined by several researchers such as Robertson and Walker which show that the universe is curved and every point in the universe moves together following the development of the universe.\n\nHowever, in addition to the model developed by Lemaitrê and friends, there is another universe model developed by Fred Hoyle, Hermann Bondi, and Thomas Gold called the steady-state model. Here they argue that the universe is always the same in space and time and there is no such thing as the explosive process that produced the present universe, and they even make fun of this explosion process by the name of Big Bang (Big Bang).\n\nBased on Hubble's observation of the development of the universe, they hold that the universe is expanding, but the state is always fixed because every moment at every point in the universe occurs the process of creating matter that is the basic material of the universe, the hydrogen atoms out of nothing. These atoms will in turn become the stars and galaxies of the inhabitants of the entire universe. So if the Big Bang theory states that the creation of the universe takes place only once, then the steady-state theory holds that the process of creation takes place every time and everywhere, and this universe is always the same and continues throughout its time.\n\nSteady-state theory is quite interesting because it can break away from the problem of the creation process itself, including the possibility of a Creator that allows the emergence of this universe. Indeed, until now in the stronghold of the theory of the Big Bang, there is still a pretty heated debate about the existence or absence of the Creator who made the process of creation.\n\nOne disadvantage of this steady-state theory is the process of creating material that goes on continuously from nothing against the law of conservation of the masses. However, the proponents of the steady-state theory say that the creation of the universe through a process of explosions in the distant past is no more plausible than the creation of the hydrogen atoms of the stars from their absence.\n\nAnother weakness is the absence of this steady-state theory from observation. Another objection is that this steady-state theory can not explain why the universe is developing; the development of the universe has been considered \"taken for granted\" in this theory. Furthermore, the deadly blow to this steady-state theory is the discovery of background cosmic radiation interpreted as the radiation of the remainder of the process that gave birth to our universe. Finally, the steady state theory is now only a part of the history of modern cosmology, and the Big Bang model is the single most accepted model of the universe to date.\n \nIn addition to observing the process of developing the universe, the model of the Big Bang universe is supported by two other things, namely observing the background cosmic radiation interpreted as radiation from the remnants of a blast process that went far in the past (discovered by Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson in 1965 and for this discovery they received the Nobel Prize in 1978), and the corresponding observations with the theoretical results on the abundance of hydrogen, helium and lithium elements resulted in the formation of the basic elements immediately after the Big Bang took place.\n\nThe Babylonian cosmic story only applies to the Babylonians, the Maya cosmic story only to the Aztecs, and so on. However, with the acceptance of the Big Bang model as the only valid universe model, it is for the first time that mankind has a universal cosmic story, overcoming various nations and languages. In addition, this cosmic story also uses a universal language as well, namely the language of physics and mathematics.\n\nIn this modern age, we live in a time in which the universe becomes an object very far from us, both physically and existentially, so we never feel part of the universe itself. The implications of this are the terrible things we see every day.\n\nWe are now faced with a divided world. We see many wars with religious motives, resources, politics, power, money, and so on. We observe the surroundings we destroy without thinking about the impact on our children and grandchildren. All this is done as if we are the ruler of nature and the environment around us so that they all become objects that can be mastered and treated at will.\n\nThis begins as people begin to see the universe in a rational way, and they begin to distance themselves from the universe. The peak of human joy occurs in modern times when humans see the universe as an object that can be dissected using their rationality knife through physical and mathematical analysis. This joy makes humans do not feel a part of the universe. However, precisely at the peak of this joy rationality leads them to a single cosmic story in the Big Bang model.\n\nBest Regard @h4f\n\nReference : \n\nhttps://www.universetoday.com/33113/heliocentric-model/\nhttps://graduateway.com/copernicus-newton-and-the-scientific-revolution/\nhttps://www.encyclopedia.com/science/science-magazines/astronomy-and-cosmology-geocentric-and-heliocentric-models-universe\nhttp://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Big_Bang\nGribbin, J. | title | The Cosmic Story of the Middle Ages |
| body |
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f7/TrifidHunterWilson.jpg/800px-TrifidHunterWilson.jpg

wikipedia

Through the development of rationalism since the days of Ancient Greek philosophers, gradually the mythological cosmic story was replaced by a more rational cosmic story, although still colored by philosophical speculation. The philosophers who play here, for example, are Thales of Miletus who argues that the earth lies floating on the water. Based on data he obtained from Babylonian observers also succeeded in predicting a solar eclipse event. Another character, for example, is Anaxagoras who thinks that the Sun is a burning iron ball. In addition, there is also a character named Empedocles who believe that the universe shaped like an egg and dominated by love and hate in turn). After these figures came to Pythagoras who lived around the sixth century BC. According to Diogenes who lived in the second century AD, he was the first to declare that the earth was a sphere, and the sky was the cosmos. He describes the universe as having geometric order and governed by mathematical laws. He believes that the universe is geometrical, all of its spherical members move around a "Central Fire" in a circular trajectory. He goes on to say that in the movement of heavenly bodies it produces certain notes that can not be heard by ordinary people. Another very influential figure is Plato. He can be regarded as a figure that bridges mythological thinking with a scientific thought in understanding the universe that reached its peak through the thinking of Copernicus and Kepler two thousand years later. Plato has the idea that the world (the universe) is divided into two, namely the real world and the world of ideas. The real world is a world that we perceive through sensual observation, and there we can see all the chaos, disorder, and dissonance. Instead, the world of ideas is the underlying world of the real world, where in this world everything is perfect, orderly and harmonious. This world of ideas can never be absorbed by sensual experience but through philosophical deepening. Further, Plato argues that the sky and all its contents are the manifestations of the world of ideas closest to the observation of human senses. Therefore, he strongly recommends that humans learn astronomy in order to better understand what it is actually the world of ideas. For the philosophy of the Platonic school, the ultimate goal to do is to find the afterlife behind the mortal and discover the laws that govern everything that goes on in the universe. This spirit is in existence today, especially in the quest for human beings to discover the basic laws governing the dynamics of all elements of the inhabitants of the universe. Plato's view of heavenly bodies and their movements follows his philosophy. Because he argues that the most perfect geometric shape is a circle and a sphere, then he thinks that all the celestial bodies are spherical and orbit the Earth in a circular trajectory. After Plato, an important figure is Aristarchus of Samos. Using certain geometric arguments he estimates the size of the sun and he concludes that the sun's size is much larger than Earth's. From here he then thinks that an object is not possible around other objects that are much smaller in size. He then concludes that the Earth must be turning on its axis to explain the motion (pseudo) of the stars. Aristarchus has put forward the points of Copernicus theory 17 centuries before the birth of Copernicus. This view was rejected by Aristotle, because if the earth spins how can an object be thrown up will fall again in its original place? Also, why does this Earth's rotation not produce very strong winds? It is these things that made the heliocentric theory (the Sun that became the center of the universe) Aristarchus was not accepted until the time of Copernicus. Aristotle was a philosopher who could be paralleled with Plato in terms of the effects it caused. His view of the universe is a synthesis of the views of his predecessor. According to Aristotle, the Earth is the center of the universe and is in a state of silence, which becomes the center of the rotation of all heavenly bodies. The whole universe is surrounded by a ball that places the stars. Aristotle's cosmology is based on his view of the movement of elements in nature. Heavy elements (water and soil) tend to move toward the center of the universe (in this case Earth), whereas lighter elements, namely air and fire tend to move away from the center of the universe. The lighter element in Aristotle's view is the ether that forms the foundation of the heavens. In an attempt to apply his thoughts to the movement of heavenly bodies, Aristotle constructed a geometric system made up of 55 Earth-centered balls capable of explaining and predicting the movement of stars and planets. In this age of Aristotle lived also a philosopher named Eudoxus. He began to observe that the planets move irregularly. To clarify this he argues that each planet lies in a concentric sphere (centered on Earth), and moves at a speed and has a different axis of rotation. Here the stars are in a silent outer circle. This is the first scientific attempt to explain the irregular movement of the planet. Some time after Aristotle lived a man named Claudius Ptolomeus who lived around the year 140. This figure is trying to refine Aristotelian thinking which then poured in his work entitled Almagest (Big System). In this book Ptolomeus's writings are written about his epicycle theory (epicycle). It is depicted that all celestial bodies move around a point, and the trajectory of this thing is called an episode. The episode moves in a larger circle and is called deferent. The earth is not located in the center of the deferent; it lies not too far from the deferent center at the point called equant. This model was made by Ptolemy among others to explain the motion of retrograde Mars. Though very complicated, this epicycle system proved to last very long (14th century) until the heliocentric system by Nicolaus Copernicus in his book De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium in the year 1543. In addition, there is also a character named Empedocles who believe that the universe shaped like an egg and dominated by love and hate in turn).\n\nAfter these figures came to Pythagoras who lived around the sixth century BC. According to Diogenes who lived in the second century AD, he was the first to declare that the earth was a sphere, and the sky was the cosmos.\n\nHe describes the universe as having geometric order and governed by mathematical laws. He believes that the universe is geometrical, all of its spherical members move around a \"Central Fire\" in a circular trajectory. He goes on to say that in the movement of heavenly bodies it produces certain notes that can not be heard by ordinary people.\n \nAnother very influential figure is Plato. He can be regarded as a figure that bridges mythological thinking with a scientific thought in understanding the universe that reached its peak through the thinking of Copernicus and Kepler two thousand years later.\n\nPlato has the idea that the world (the universe) is divided into two, namely the real world and the world of ideas. The real world is a world that we perceive through sensual observation, and there we can see all the chaos, disorder, and dissonance. Instead, the world of ideas is the underlying world of the real world, where in this world everything is perfect, orderly and harmonious. This world of ideas can never be absorbed by sensual experience but through philosophical deepening.\n\nFurther, Plato argues that the sky and all its contents are the manifestations of the world of ideas closest to the observation of human senses. Therefore, he strongly recommends that humans learn astronomy in order to better understand what it is actually the world of ideas. For the philosophy of the Platonic school, the ultimate goal to do is to find the afterlife behind the mortal and discover the laws that govern everything that goes on in the universe. This spirit is in existence today, especially in the quest for human beings to discover the basic laws governing the dynamics of all elements of the inhabitants of the universe.\n\nPlato's view of heavenly bodies and their movements follows his philosophy. Because he argues that the most perfect geometric shape is a circle and a sphere, then he thinks that all the celestial bodies are spherical and orbit the Earth in a circular trajectory.\n\nAfter Plato, an important figure is Aristarchus of Samos. Aristarchus has put forward the points of Copernicus theory\n17 centuries before the birth of Copernicus. His view of the universe is a synthesis of the views of his predecessor.\n \nAccording to Aristotle, the Earth is the center of the universe and is in a state of silence, which becomes the center of the rotation of all heavenly bodies. In an attempt to apply his thoughts to the movement of heavenly bodies, Aristotle constructed a geometric system made up of 55 Earth-centered balls capable of explaining and predicting the movement of stars and planets.\n\nIn this age of Aristotle lived also a philosopher named Eudoxus. Though very complicated, this epicycle system proved to last very long (14th century) until the heliocentric system by Nicolaus Copernicus in his book De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium in the year 1543.\n\nBest Regard @h4f\n\nReference :\n\n
\n\nhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_revolutionibus_orbium_coelestium\nhttp://present5.com/ancient-greek-roman-philosophy-ancient-greek-and-then/\nhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_mythology\nGribbin, J.
