      "body": "The Morality of Money - Ascend Leadership\n\nANCIENT LESSONS ON THE MORALITY OF MONEY: \nGUARDING OUR INTEGRITY \n\nWhen it comes to the morality and ethics of financial services industries, remembering the history outlined in John 2:15 in the bible provides poignant insight.\n\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBQGuc3op8E\n\nHow well are we doing MORALLY as a civilisation?\n\nHow might we each be inspired to face up to the injustices that routinely occur during the cost-of-living, financial corruption and the cybercrime crisis?\n\nJOHN 2:15 NIV BIBLE \n\"So he (Jesus) made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.\"\n\nI know a lot of people are put off by the behaviour of the church or by religion. Me too. Yet there are many brands of faith and kindness. Anyone who is considerate and caring conveys through their actions, the core tenants of the golden rule of every faith: LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOURSELF. Treat others how you want to be treated. We each live at least some aspect of this virtue.\n\nLast night I collaborated on a video for a sermon that a friend is presenting. This is inspired by a previous video I had constructed on the idea that we ought not to associate having money as having spirituality.\n\nA poignant idea for these times.\n\nIf you have money while someone else suffers, you are not great at all. That is uncivilised and unconscionable to every brand and style of faith. Successful civilisations developed the discipline of Alms or Gifts for the Needy to prevent homelessness through charity. \n\nPoverty leads to crime. \nThis is common sense.\nYet not common sense today.\n\nI thought I would share the video here because I wanted to take my audience back to a moment in time in which a rebel confronted the financial institutions of his time. A rebel named Jesus who had taken over a temple, disrupting money lenders with a whip and turning over their tables.\n\nWe tend to forget that what got Jesus killed was his activism against the immorality and unethical behaviours of the establishment.\n\nIn a manner of speaking, anyone who stands up for ethics is being at least a little like Jesus. I know that many of you exhibit Jesus's traits in your work.\n\nYet we live in an age in which it is frowned upon to say Jesus' name. Is there a single woman or man alive today who is brave enough to behave like Jesus? Who can be brave enough to say his name? I will say his name.\n\nHealing the sick.\nConfronting injustice.\nIs there something wrong with that?\n\nYou do not have to perceive Jesus as more than a man to appreciate how incredible he was, to see the impact that he made and to appreciate that Jesus' legacy of kindness still stands as important to this very day.\n\nImportant in each of your brave actions to do the right thing.\n\nWWJD | What Would Jesus Do?",

The old tech that does not have the new NPU (Neural Processor Units), which will result in a planned obsolescence.\n\nBy that I mean YOU NOW HAVE TO PLAN FOR THE OBSOLESENCES OF YOUR IT GEAR. Planned in the sense that APPLE & MICROSOFT are not communicating a consumer downside they will profit from.\n\nDownside?\n\nAdding an AI NPU intensive OS to an old CPU computational machine is like asking Top Gear's race car driver Stig to hop in a family Toyota Corolla with 150,000 kms on the clock. Then do a fast lap around Nuremberg.       "body": "![i can.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmYqw8XXiQoya1vyfoCiAmEM9DJu5ZJuzgYX4c8ovo9yCR/i%20can.jpg)\n\nThe great I can. \n\nTHIS POST IS FOR ANYONE \nWHO THINKS THEY CANT. \n\nConformity. \n\nTo my mind, is a disease. \n\nDon’t get me wrong, \n\nI’m incredibly disciplined at being consistent in the application of processes to achieve outcomes, \n\nBut, \n\nThere are many different kinds of disciplines that can contribute to achieve the same thing. \n\nMore generally, \n\nConformity is a form of enslavement. \n\nA person who serves only a process, \nBecomes enslaved to the process. \n\nA person who serves TRANSFORMATION, \nADAPTS themselves and their process. \n\nWhich is why Einstein said,\n(I’ve made this gender neutral) \n“Try not to become a person of success, try to become a person of value.” \n\nWhat is value? \n\nOther than the activity or thought process which becomes the key driver to any transformation. \n\nDo the right thing, \nAccording to transformation, \nAnd the process aligns correctly. \n\nWhich is why Jesus said, \nThat the law would become written on our hearts. \n\nWithin the DNA of every human being, \nIs a set of instructions. \n\nWe do not learn adequately how to moderate or guide our humanity through traditional education. Missing many important instructions. \n\nMany of us are awakening. \n\nComing into a cognitive, conscious awareness that some of the teaching we have received, hurts us. \n\nThis is because, \n\nThe education system was created by a set of governing principles, \nThat a citizen would become subservient. \n\nAnd this is how we are taught. \nTo become servants. \n\nWhat’s interesting about our genuine humanity, is that we are all of us, creative during childhood. \n\nAll of us. \n\nBut some of us lose this ability, \nBecause it is programmed out of us. \n\nWe are taught a lie. \n\nThat you are this personality or that. \n\nYet over the course of a lifetime, \n\nSuccessive psychometric examinations have recorded substantive shifts in my own personality and in my behavioral traits. \n\nI learned that the human mind has amazing plasticity. \nThat like any muscle, the brain can be developed. \n\nIf you have ever seen THE MATRIX or LIMITLESS or the TV series THE PRETENDER, you would see that once a subconscious mind is able to be integrated with consciousness, \n\nA human being can learn anything. \n\nFor a decade I was told that I was bad at piano. \nNot gifted. Should give up. (I was genuinely bad.) \n\nI gave myself permission to become great. \n\nI did the work. \nI taught myself. \n\nEventually, Dr Thomas Hecht, professor of piano studies at NZ School of Music became a friend. \n\nUpon examining my piano skills, he told me that, although self taught, I had the skills of many of his students and wrote a letter citing that I was the leading piano expert in New Zealand. \n\nAs a self taught person who had been told to give up, I also experienced people telling me that I was gifted. And offered to be signed to record deals with Naxos classical. \n\nI performed professionally, accompanying hit selling artists and producing music and songs that I sold commercially. Including licensing my songs to other artists. \n\nWhen they told me I was gifted and that people have the gift of music or they don’t, I internalised my loud response; \n\nThat’s a lie! \n\nBecause we can achieve anything that we set our minds to. \n\nWe must first become UNBELIEVERS in the lies that have been taught to us, entering into rebellion against conforming to limitations. \n\nThen we must choose to become limitless in our potential, faithfully doing the incremental, mundane work that delivers the kind of skill one might call gifted. \n\nEventually, \n\nTen thousand hours (three to four years) is all it takes to achieve mastery. \n\nIt is because I have put in four years per subject, that I have mastery of multiple disciplines. \n\nOnce you can exercise the patience to improve yourself, you will completely transform yourself within four years. \n\nOn a cellular level,\n\nThe human body also works this way. \n\nWithin seven years, every single cell within your physical body will have been replaced by a new cell. \n\nYou will literally be a new person in seven years. \n\nAnd since your mind is so powerful, \n\nYou can also reprogram your DNA through your lifestyle choices, becoming an entirely new person, within a decade. \n\nBy the sheer will of your intention. \n\nYou are therefore not stuck. \n\nJust as the bible states, \n\nGod is the potter, \nI am the clay. \n\nThis wisdom has been known for tens of thousands of years, but the lies about your humanity are a resounding gong inside your head, that obstructs you from the clarity of your purposeful humanity. \n\nToday. \n\nYou will give yourself permission. \nYou will begin your transformation. \nBy simply admitting to yourself, \n\nI CAN.\n\nG.J.MACLEAN\nwww.glynmaclean.com",

The events all took on a tone of appealing to the status quo, because the organisers wanted to clip the ticket on the presenters who could afford to pay the most. Because sometimes good people get angry at themselves and project that anger into the people around them. It happens. It’s not fun.\n\nI like Jesus example, and so if it came to it, I would give my life to allow someone to strike me down, if I thought it would help them to come into their dignity.\n\nMy life is just energy occupying a body for a while. That life force energy is permanent, but the body is impermanent. We are transient, be less worried.\n\nJesus had some good lessons for Simon Peter, who chopped off a Roman soldiers ear.\n\nJesus stopped him.\n\nI’m sure the soldier was just a wee bit relieved. Wonder what impact that had on the soldier?\n\nIt’s good to have the skill to protect others when they need it. Whether it’s disarming a gun, a knife or breaking up a fight or disarming a gang.\n\nAnd yet there is this,\n\nThe hardest gang to disarm,\n\nis the collection of thoughts we each has,\n\nthe self talk that roams around our minds.\n\nOur lack of self love and appreciation.\n\nThe need to be recognised.\n\nUsually comes from childhood neglect.\n\nAnd therefore,\n\nThe best defence we will ever have,\n\nAgainst all the pain of the world,\n\nIs the love and support of a child, \nBy both their mother \nand father.\n\nThere is no defence against neglect.\n\nExpect for love.\n\nAs all pain comes from neglect.\n\nWe must quite simply,\n\nLove one another.\n\nG.J.MacLean",
