A nation holds its breath but there is more to their team. The 2017 African Cup of Nations runners up are no push overs on the International stage and bring with them to the World Cup a squad filled with some quality. If Salah can play at his best, or even short of it, there is no reason why Egypt should fail to get out Group A. However, the lack of creative or technical players with flair going forward suggests it is more likely they will seriously struggle to get out of Group A.\n\n<h2>Recent Matches:</h2>\nIts been quite a while since Russia played a competitive match as they are hosting the World cup this year.To compensate for that,they are playing friendlies from the summer of 2016 to prepare.They have a mixed bag of results of friendlies since their last competitive match.Their defence is quite fragile and tends to concede goals however their attack is much better in this aspect.Since their confederations cup in last summer,they have played nine friendlies,in which they have conceded 14 goals and scored same amount of goals. The team have been keeping the ball better and moving it quickly.Pizzi looks likely to play a compact 4-2-3-1, with the attacking three midfielders ready to drop deep to ensure that there are plenty of bodies in midfield.Their defence is quite aging so attack is the best bet for them.Their attacking trio is quite a force in Asia.Salem al-Dawsari, Yahya al-Shehri and Fahad al-Muwallad are the team’s creative heartbeat with the ability to unlock Asian defences, though their greatest tests remain.\n\n<h2>Formation:</h2>\n(4-2-3-1)\nProbable Lineup:\nMosailem\nHarbi Omar Hawsawi Osama Hawsawi Shahrani\nOtayf Jassim\nMuwallad Shehri Dawsari\nSahlawi\n\n<h2>The Key Prospects:</h2>\nNawaf Al-Abed is the one of the shining lights in the Asian qualifying,he scored five goals and assisted another three which is one of the better record in asia.Striker Mohammad Al-Sahlawi has an exceptional record for country,has a total of 28 goals in 37 international appearances.\\\n\n<h2>The Punts:</h2>\nThe wingers are the standout gamble within the ranks of Saudi Arabia.Fahad Al-Muwallad and Salem Al-Dawsari are exciting players with lots of potential but still haven't converted that potential into reliable point source.This world cup can be platform where they finally show up.\n\n![uru.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXEsop6KdxVrT2MyxKtJPjjgc7wonv7Xu3UKv4QZXc3XB/uru.jpg)\n<h1>URUGUAY</h1>\n<h2>Overview:</h2>\nAs like almost every other world cup,The sky blues will be looking to prove their class once again as they are chasing their third world cup.Óscar Tabárez has set up his team to be as mean as possible at the back and then it is all about giving the ball to the team’s world-class forwards, Luis Suárez and Edinson Cavani.Group Stage shouldn't be a problem for them given the quality of the squad.In fact, the favorable draw means that the South American giants have another outside chance at World Cup glory.\n\n<h2>Road to Qualification:</h2>\nUruguay qualified for Russia as one of the best teams of South America after Brazil dominated the whole group stage.They have shown both their best and worst throughout the qualifiers.They have started strongly winning four out of their first six matches.The tide had changed completely in next eight matches where they lost four of them.Oscar Tabarez then reformed the whole squad as he tried to turn the tides again.Overall the La Celeste have finished their qualification in quite convincing fashion.They have the second best scoring record(Only behind Brazil)and the fourth best defensive record throughout the qualifiers.\n\n<h2>Conmebol Qualifying</h2>\n\nMost starts: Fernando Muslera (17), Diego Godin (16), Edinson Cavani (15), Carlos Sanchez (14), Luis Suarez (13).\n\nMost goals: Cavani (10), Suarez (5), Godin, Martin Caceres (both 3).\n\nMost assists: Suarez (8), Sanchez (7).\n\n<h2>Tactics and Formation:</h2>\nLike every other Uruguay team this team is built from the back to make it as difficult as possible for opponents to score. From the wickedly powerful, 4K graphics-pumping GeForce GTX 1080 Ti to the entry-level GTX 1050 – and everything in between – Nvidia remains the crown ruler of the GPU world.\n\nHowever, because gamers always demand the highest levels of graphical ability and tech companies and researchers both require greater AI functionality and GPU computation, the best graphics card constantly need to become better. This is why Nvidia is hard at work developing Nvidia Volta – the next-generation architecture for professionals.\n\nNvidia actually has released two Volta cards already, back in 2017, but they were prohibitively expensive – as they were aimed at data scientists and professional artists – so, don’t expect to see them in the best gaming PCs any time soon. Still, we’re extremely eager to see what the next GeForce GTX cards will be, considering the massive performance leap we’re expecting.\n\nHowever, if we were you, we wouldn’t expect to see Volta-powered GTX cards, as the architecture seems to be built entirely around AI and research use-cases. And, if leaked information about a GTX 1180 is to be believed, Turing is the architecture that will be behind the GeForce GTX 11 series cards. \n\nEager for an upgrade? Here's everything that we've heard so far.\n\n<h1>Cut to the chase</h1>\nWhat is it? Nvidia's next-gen, 12nm GPU line\nWhen is it out? The Tesla V100 and Titan V are out now, but GeForce cards are TBD\nWhat will it cost? A recent report by Tom's Hardware has pegged the release to a July launch, with AIBs receiving cards on, or around, June 15. That seems mighty specific to us, and we're still betting on a late August, early September reveal.\n\nSK Hynix are reportedly ramping up production of GDDR6, which Nvidia are also reported to be utilising exclusively with their unreleased graphics cards.\n\nWhen they first announced the arrival of GDDR6 Hynix mentioned they were “planning to mass produce the product for a client to release high-end graphics card [sic] by early 2018 equipped with high performance GDDR6 DRAMs.” I’m not the only one to think that is a reference to Nvidia and the release of GDDR6-based Volta GPUs.\n\nSamsung have also announced their own GDDR6 memory is set to \"play a critical role in early launches of next-generation graphics cards\" which is playing into our suspicions of a relatively early 2018 launch. Though that could just because we're desperate for a new GPU launch to potentially salve the cryptocurrency crisis that's stolen all our graphics cards...\n\nSamsung 16Gb GDDR6\n\nThese memory chips are also expected to be 20% more expensive than GDDR5 for manufacturers from the get-go - although eventually dropping in price as manufacturing capacity moves away from the older standards.\n\nWe had thought that maybe Nvidia would launch something at GDC this year, but our sources within the green team told us they were categorically not going to be launching a new GPU in March. Nor did they be launching anything game-related at GTC a week later either - it was all just deep-learning, AI, and wheely things.\n\nThe closest we’ve come to a genuine Nvidia Volta-based graphics card we could jam into our PCs is the $3,000 Titan V. The Titan V's pumped-up pricing shouldn't scare you, as the card was never intended for gamers. On the other hand, if Volta-powered GPUs were still too pricey to produce for graphics cards a few months ago, how long will it take until they hit a point where Nvidia deems them worth selling?\n\nUntil then, we can look back at the base price points for the current 10-series line, although you might find much higher prices due to the cryptocurrency boom.\n\n Nvidia Titan Xp - $1,200 (£1,099, AU$1,950)\n Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti - $699 (£679, AU$1099)\n Nvidia TX 1070 Ti - $449 (£419, AU$759)\n Nvdia GTX 1080 - $599 (£600, AU$925)\n Nvidia GTX 1070 - $379 (£379, AU$699)\n Nvidia GTX 1060 - $199 (£279, AU$429) \nWe'll have to wait and see whether Nvidia releases a similar range of Volta-based cards, as well as whether they'll see any significant price increase from the 10-series starting points. \n\nGiven that the prices of Nvidia Pascal graphics cards came at a slightly higher premium – coinciding with the increased performance – over the Maxwell cards they replaced, we can imagine that these 11-series parts could be more expensive.\n![KLnrP8cp4m6RvpVnqV3fh-650-80.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmb1vKpxqsreibVuTP8vyt1J1FaJjamymPVicD1Yo9uJnu/KLnrP8cp4m6RvpVnqV3fh-650-80.jpg)\n\n\n<h1>Nvidia Volta specs</h1>\nYou might have been forgiven for being excited when lots of news outlets started shouting about the Nvidia GTX 1180 getting a listing in an online GPU database, but I'm sorry to say it was just a placeholder.\n\nTechPowerUp had just filled in their database using the current rumours and speculated upon the GPU and memory clockspeeds using existing 10-series Pascal frequencies, and it was then presented as a leak by lots of people reporting it online.\n\nUnfortunately we're still none the wiser about exactly what the next-gen cards will be, what they'll be called, or when they'll arrive. For all we know it could still be called the GTX 2080 when the top-end card of the new generation does eventually launch.\n\nIn fact the recent 'supply run' restocking of 10-series cards by Nvidia seems like evidence they're not going to arrive for a while.\n\nAll the released Volta GPUs, however, from the Tesla V100, to the Titan V and Quadro GV100, have been running the same 12nm TSMC lithography. TSMC have also said they were entering volume production of their 12nm FinFET chips in the fourth quarter of 2017, which is why we were expecting a full launch of Nvidia's consumer-facing Volta cards relatively early in 2018.\n\nOriginally, Volta was supposed to be built using TSMC's new 10nm process, but the pace of transistor shrinkage has become rather laggardly in recent years. Other rumours had Nvidia sticking with TSMC’s existing 16nm tech in order to be able to stick to their roadmap and get actual Nvidia Volta cards on the shelves in 2018. It's now looking like somewhere between the two.\n\n\n\n<h1>Performance</h1>\nWe're too early in the release cycle for there to be any performance figures flying around, but we're hoping for greater efficiency and better with DX12 and Vulkan.\nn a pure generation-on-generation test between the pro-level Pascal P100 and Volta V100 GPUs the newer Nvidia architecture is posting performance that is 132% faster than the last-gen chips. If we get anywhere near that level of performance boost from gaming applications Volta will be stunning. Realistically that's unlikely because these tests are based on Geekbench benchmarks, run in a Linux environment, using the specific CUDA API, and not Shadow of War at 4K.\n\nThe professional Nvidia Volta cards have been tuned especially for AI workloads, with a new Tensor core design at its heart. These new silicon slices won't have anything to do with gaming frame rates, at least for the moment, so if those are the only real improvements with Volta it's possible there won't be a huge performance uplift over Pascal at all.\n\nObviously we’re still expecting some increased gaming performance from Volta, and I’ve already spoken about the necessity for it to better deal with the low-level APIs of Vulkan and DirectX 12, but we should also expect some improved efficiency born both of the slightly shrunken GPU production process as well as the redesigned architecture itself. \n\nGiven that Volta is the namesake of the Italian gentleman credited with the invention of the battery you’d certainly hope for some improved efficiency. On the notebook side Pascal made great strides forward for the performance of mobile GPUs, and Volta ought to carry that progress even further. \n\nWhen he announced the existence of the Nvidia Volta code-name at GTC 2013 Jen-Hsun Huang explained that \"I love that name Volta because it would suggest that it will be even more energy efficient.\"\n\nFingers crossed it’s not just a suggestion…\n\n<iframe width=\"602\" height=\"364\" src=\"https://www.youtube.com/embed/NPrfiOldKf8\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen></iframe>",

      "body": "![gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1080-xtreme-920x518.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQFgYuEMfJVQJJqWXNb5LEx9nTRBhw4GcnWLgYW2VMQgK/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1080-xtreme-920x518.jpg)\n<b>During its latest financial results, graphics card giant Nvidia announced that it expects GPU sales to crypto-miners to drop by as much as two thirds next quarter, adding further evidence that prices will stabilise soon. </b>\n\nThe announcement (first reported by Bloomberg) came alongside the revelation that Nvidia earned a massive $289 million from cryptocurrency-related sales in the first quarter of 2018, surpassing its own lofty expectations of $200 million.\n\nThe news comes just one day after it emerged that Nvidia 10-series GPUs are finally back in stock across multiple retailers, including a GTX 1070 Ti’s available for £399.95, and GTX 1060’s available for £189.98.\n\n\nWe’ve also heard reports from sources closed to Taiwainese manufacturers Gigabyte and MSI which claimed that demand for their GPUs has plummeted. It appears we’re now seeing the benefits of this drop. The sources, as reported by Digital Trends, claimed that shipments for the cards dropped by a massive 40% in April, the drop driven mainly by a lack of interest from large cryptocurrency mining operations.\n\nIt all adds up to paint an optimistic image that the days of price inflated graphics card prices might finally be coming to an end. This inflation was primarily caused by the explosion in popularity of cryptocurrency mining, which saw people bulk purchase graphics cards and use them to ‘mine’ the valuable virtual coins.\n\nOrdinarily, a rise in demand for a product leads (eventually) to a drop in price. Manufacturers are able to scale up the amount that they’re producing, and they’ll then benefit from economies of scale that bring down prices.\n\nHowever, in the case of graphics cards this didn’t happen because the massive rise in demand for GPUs coincided with a global VRAM shortage, meaning that manufacturers have been physically unable to scale up supply to match demand.\n\n<h3>Where’s the demand gone?</h3>\nBut with the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies remaining high, what’s to blame for the massive drop in demand for graphics cards?\n\nThe answer appears to be the increased use of ASICs (or application specific integrated circuit machines) for mining cryptocurrencies. As the name implies, these are machines that are built specifically for mining cryptocurrencies, and they’re incredibly good at it.\n\nIn the same way that GPUs are more efficient than CPUs for mining, ASICs are a lot more efficient than GPUs. When it comes to cryptocurrency mining, if you’re not using the most efficient hardware then you’re going to risk spending more on electricity than you earn in mining fees.\n\n\nIt will likely take a few months for the pricing of GPUs to reach normal levels once more after demand drops, but these first signs have given us hope that the days of sky-high GPU prices might soon be behind us.",

      "body": "When it first released in 2014, Framed was declared game of the year by no less than Hideo Kojima. In the years since, this has been the game's enduring legacy--it's not just a good game, but one that inspired an industry heavyweight with its inventiveness. It's a fundamentally robust, unique idea executed well.\n![1.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmV7DekDcDPoqyRTRcqxDk9rU5tAWzt9QjZerVhzUHRjVs/1.jpg)\n\nFramed Collection brings together Framed and its 2017 follow-up Framed 2 (a prequel, although the plot is largely inconsequential) to Nintendo Switch and PC--both were formerly exclusive to iOS and Android. They are essentially puzzle games in which you're trying to solve a narrative issue--they present comic books where the main characters die or get arrested on every page. Several panels are laid out on each screen, each one depicting different scenes, usually involving one or more of the game's unnamed protagonists trying to outsmart the police or overcome an obstacle. In the opening stages, all you need to do is switch the panels around so that the character can safely get to the end of the 'page' and escape it.\n![2.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmdb3GEC7WQq4dCMvo6VwAjzfvfuGXEBjX7cHCansvrwAT/2.jpg)\nNo Caption Provided\nOnce you have the panels in an order that you think will work, you press 'play' and watch what happens. To give an early example, if the first (immovable) panel shows two police firing their guns then you'll need to move the panel that shows a table into the second slot, so that the man who is being fired at can immediately dive behind it and take cover. If any other panel is placed second, he'll be shot. All of this is backed by a lovely jazz soundtrack and neat visual style that renders all the characters in silhouette. Framed has a great sense of style, and although some of the backgrounds can be a bit plain (especially in the first game), it's easy to read the action and figure out what is going to happen in each panel as you enter or exit it.\n\nIn both games, the puzzles grow more complicated and clever as you progress. Later puzzles will let you rotate panels, sometimes changing the orientation of objects within them, other times shifting a rectangular panel so that it's either vertical or horizontal (which changes the order the panels are 'read' in as well). Others will let you move panels around after you've pressed play, which means that getting through to the last panel on the screen will mean moving through some panels more than once. Everything works on silly video game stealth logic--you can assume that all the police are deaf to anyone behind them--but the game's internal logic is consistent.\n\nIt's a clever system, albeit one that feels like it could have been pushed just a little further after finishing both short games. Played back to back, it's the original Framed that stands out the most. It's not necessarily better, per se, but the game has held up well since its initial release, and still feels like a fresh idea. Framed has a loopier structure than the sequel, one that calls attention to the game's weird frame-switching conceit with a plot that is hard to fully understand, but is neat in its ambitiousness. The original game introduces all the series' best concepts and ideas too, and as such ends up feeling a tad more inventive just by virtue of being the first one.\n\nThat's not to say that Framed 2 isn't also good fun. It's much nicer visually, and the puzzles are more playful in the sequel--one sequence where you need to change a character's outfit by continually switching around panels so that they alternately put on and take off various items of clothing is a stand-out, as is one scene that lets you rotate the hands of a clock to affect the angle at which one of the characters leaps off it into the next panel. Some other set-pieces, like a fist fight and a sequence where you need to figure out a four-digit code based on a tableau taking up most of the screen, play out as cute proofs-of-concept rather than full-blown ideas, but they're in the minority. Both games have plenty of lovely 'a-ha' moments, where a puzzle clicks and an obvious solution that was staring you in the face suddenly leaps out. Neither is particularly difficult and while that's not a major issue both games also end abruptly--some further complexity would not have gone amiss.\n\nFramed Collection's only real significant addition is a fast-forward button, which lets you speed up the action after pressing play. This is a bigger deal than it sounds--having to watch the same scenes slowly play out every time you pressed play after organizing panels was the most annoying part of Framed on mobile, and the problem has been mitigated here. You can play either game in TV mode with the Switch, but it's better in handheld mode with touch controls--using a controller just doesn't feel natural, especially when you need to switch between panels quickly. If you've already played Framed 1 and 2 on mobile there's not much reason to come back, but if you haven't these are the best versions of the unique and enduring puzzle games.",
