In some environments, forming up of certain processes and procedures can be quite complex&nbsp;</p>\n<blockquote>code does not lie</blockquote>\n<p>AWS provides a lot of granularity in controlling the infrastructure opposed to other IAAS providers (For example Heroku), the configuration of this massive behemoth of a cloud framework called AWS can be quite tedious. Luckily for us, Amazon invented cloud-formation. CF service includes provisioning, rollbacks, conditional steps and many more features which are crucial for building an automated and robust infrastructure</p>\n<p>CloudFormation is a block of Json or YAML files, defining the current infrastructure state, It is not dynamic in the sense that if you do not change the code, your physical infrastructure will not change (not by CloudFormation is any case). CloudFormation has the ability to update underlying resources yet EC2 instances can only be configured at instantiation or at certain advances methodologies.</p>\n<p>When working with CloudFormation to manage your AWS framework, you MUST do the changes with CloudFormation, one of the design elements of the system is that its, static, if you change one of the resources bypassing CloudFormation update, when you update that resource the next time, you will be out of sync and fail.</p>\n<h2>Resources</h2>\n<ol>\n  <li><a href=\"http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/Welcome.html\">Documentation</a> is key, Amazon has very good documentation for all that CloudFormation can do, detailed and updated.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li><a href=\"https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/category/aws-cloud-formation/\">AWS CloudFormation Blog</a></li>\n  <li><a href=\"https://forums.aws.amazon.com/forum.jspa?forumID=92\">AWS CloudFormation forum</a></li>\n  <li>Uncle google.</li>\n</ol>\n<p>When writing the scripts, you can use any text editor or IDE that supports JSON/YAML (you can also do it in VI, it's just a text file).</p>\n<h2>Design</h2>\n<p>AWS Cloudformation used to be either a huge file of JSON script, the way it worked was so that one template, defined the entire infrastructure. Even when you use the \"nested stack\" feature, on updates, the stack and all of its descendants were being updated.</p>\n<p><strong>Whats the problem?</strong></p>\n<p>CloudFormation is the definition of your production infrastructure, if this goes wrong, shit hits the fan... you would want to avoid accidents, yes, we are all human, and most of the changes that you do, do not need to affect the entire network.</p>\n<p>On big stacks, it might be a simple typo that wipes your backups or rolls your servers versions. You would want to contain changes as much as possible.</p>\n<p><strong>For Example</strong>, Stack B is Nested in A.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>1. You transfer a parameter from A to B on stack initiation.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>2. Update stack B, Change the parameter value</p>\n<p>3, Update stack A (without changing the parameter to the value of the nested stack) would refresh stack B resource using the parameter to its original value. causing unwanted updates.</p>\n<h3>cross stack references</h3>\n<p>While going with the one file/nested stack approach is legitimate approaches In order to produce a more simple and scalable solution with less risk, you would want to use the \"<a href=\"http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/walkthrough-crossstackref.html\">Cross stack reference</a>\" feature.</p>\n<p>It would provide you with a layered infrastructure that each entity in the layers can be managed separately, while still maintaining global consistency within the system. This is a very powerful feature when done right.</p>\n<h2>Pricing</h2>\n<p>CloudFormation is free to use for all its features, but a word of advice... when you are is testing/development stages, you are going to perform many rollbacks and modifications to your template. most of the times you will create/delete/update instances and other services that do bare a charge. Try to minimize the scope of each update so you will not create/destroy a lot of resources all the time, this can come out to be quite expensive as Amazon charges by the hour (Note that the recently announced that they are moving to charge by the second)</p>\n<h2>Competition</h2>\n<p>There are not many competitors in the Infrastructure as code domain, its CloudFormation and Terraform. you can always write your own script but I would highly advise against it unless it is absolutely impossible otherwise. Even when you use the \"nested stack\" feature, on updates, the stack and all of its descendants were being updated.</p>\n<p><strong>Whats the problem?</strong></p>\n<p>CloudFormation is the definition of your production infrastructure, if this goes wrong, shit hits the fan... you would want to avoid accidents, yes, we are all human, and most of the changes that you do, do not need to affect the entire network.</p>\n<p>On big stacks, it might be a simple typo that wipes your backups or rolls your servers versions. You would want to contain changes as much as possible.</p>\n<p><strong>For Example</strong>, Stack B is Nested in A.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>1. You transfer a parameter from A to B on stack initiation.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>2. Update stack B, Change the parameter value</p>\n<p>3, Update stack A (without changing the parameter to the value of the nested stack) would refresh stack B resource using the parameter to its original value. causing unwanted updates.</p>\n<h3>cross stack references</h3>\n<p>While going with the one file/nested stack approach is legitimate approaches In order to produce a more simple and scalable solution with less risk, you would want to use the \"<a href=\"http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/walkthrough-crossstackref.html\">Cross stack reference</a>\" feature.</p>\n<p>It would provide you with a layered infrastructure that each entity in the layers can be managed separately, while still maintaining global consistency within the system. This is a very powerful feature when done right.</p>\n<h2>Pricing</h2>\n<p>CloudFormation is free to use for all its features, but a word of advice... when you are is testing/development stages, you are going to perform many rollbacks and modifications to your template. most of the times you will create/delete/update instances and other services that do bare a charge. Try to minimize the scope of each update so you will not create/destroy a lot of resources all the time, this can come out to be quite expensive as Amazon charges by the hour (Note that the recently announced that they are moving to charge by the second)</p>\n<h2>Competition</h2>\n<p>There are not many competitors in the Infrastructure as code domain, its CloudFormation and Terraform. you can always write your own script but I would highly advise against it unless it is absolutely impossible otherwise. You could say that bitcoin has already been rewritten (Litecoin, Monero, Dash, Zcash) but why is bitcoin still going up?.<br>\nIn my opinion, Bitcoin, the name, has become more of a trademark and not a product. Crypto world is only getting started and what people know is the name \"BitCoin\", I talked to people wanting to get into the scene, they didn't even know the name \"Cryptocurrency\" and were not aware that there are alt-coins.</p>\n<p>So Sure people buy like sheep the thing they know because people made millions, fine, bubblish somewhat but fine.<br>\n<br>\nNow lets take this a step further.</p>\n<p>Technology: Bitcoin sucks, really, its a shit coin with shit technology thats not suited for the TX volumes and has absolutely no viable usage in the future. there are so many better alternatives its staggering how it managed to lag behind so much.</p>\n<p>If you believe that its a work in progress and Bitcoin will be furthered developed... which brings me to&nbsp;look at the key drivers that will affect the project in the future</p>\n<p>Community: Like i said before, much of the common folk in the community understand jack sh**t about crypto and technology, so i wouldn't count on wisdom of the masses on this one.<br>\nThe rest of the community is a total catastrophe, just look at the BTC/BCH split, this split is just outrageous, lets assume that bitcoin has its issues... so you didn't agree on the god damn protocol, this means a chain split... solve it out, take additional time if you need to. I would say its irresponsible as well but it is not governed by any single entity (or is it) so there no someone to blame (isn't there?).&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Economy: So about 40% of bitcoins mining power comes from a single group (80% in china which is absolutely unproportionate for a healthy network). yes there are a few pools, but it would be naieve to think that they are not coordinated.<br>\nThis leads me to believe that that chain split is just an elaborate way of them to mine both chains effectively increasing mining profits by X2, wouldn't be a surprise for me to see it again in the future.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br>\nIn order for bitcoin to be healthy and stable, you need the underlying currency to have all the characteristics that bitcoin just doesn't have. and for it to have them, the entire network needs to change, which does not seem possible, and if by some miracle it will happen, it will mean a disaster for the currency price as well, which i am not sure it will be able to recover</p>\n<p>Cant say when its going to happen, but I have 0 bitcoins and intend to keep it that way. its a ticking time bomb.</p>\n<p>Happy hashing.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n</html>",

      "body": "<html>\n<p>Bitcoin is going up up up, but why? and until when?.</p>\n<p>I think that there is no way this crypto coin will survive, and heres why.</p>\n<p>1: Bitcoin is a POC for the blockchain, usually, POCs gets rewritten. You could say that bitcoin has already been rewritten (Litecoin, Monero, Dash, Zcash) but why is bitcoin still going up?.<br>\nIn my opinion, Bitcoin, the name, has become a trademark and not a product. Crypto world is only getting started and what people know is the name \"BitCoin\", I talked to people wanting to get into the scene, they didn't even know that name \"Cryptocurrency\" and were not aware that there are alt-coins.</p>\n<p>So Sure people buy like sheeps the think they know because people made millions, fine, bubblish somewhat but fine.<br>\n<br>\nNow lets take this a step further.</p>\n<p>Technology: Bitcoin sucks, no really, its a shit coin with shit technology thats not suited for the TX volumes and has absolutely no viable usage in the future. there are so many better alternatives its staggering how it managed to lag behind so much.</p>\n<p>If you believe that its a work in progress and Bitcoin will be furthered developed... which brings me to&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Community: Like i said before, much of the common folk in the community understand jack sh**t about crypto and technology, so i wouldn't count on wisdom of the masses on this one. <br>\nThe rest of the community is a total catastrophe, just look at the BTC/BCH split, this split is just outrageous, lets assume that bitcoin has its issues... so you didn't agree on the god damn protocol, this means a chain split... solve it out, take additional time if you need to. I would say its irresponsible as well but it is not governed by any single entity (or is it) so there no someone to blame (isn't there?).&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Economy: So about 40% of bitcoins mining power comes from a single group (80% in china which is absolutely unproportionate for a healthy network). yes there are a few pools, but it would be naieve to think that they are not coordinated.<br>\nThis leads me to believe that that chain split is just an elaborate way of them to mine both chains effectively increasing mining profits by X2, wouldn't be a surprise for me to see it again in the future.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br>\nIn order for a healthy and stable currency, you need the underlying currency to have all the characteristics that bitcoin just doesn't have. and for it to have them, the entire network needs to change, which does not seem possible, and if by some miracle it will happen, it will mean a disaster for the currency price as well, not sure it will recover from it</p>\n<p>Cant say when its going to happen, but I have 0 bitcoins and intend to keep it that way. its a ticking time bomb.</p>\n<p>Happy hashing.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n</html>",

I believe it was in the first days of me entering the market with a small amount.<br>\nI invested like 80% on ETH following a friend who invested on its ICO ages ago, and I trusted his opinion about it (Thank god for this) and looked for additional diversification (and maybe the next big thing).&nbsp;</p>\n<p>1ST was in ICO at that time, making a big hoo-haa about practically nothing, with out a product or community, just a promise (like all others). For me, that promise was crystal clear, as a LoL player and in general playing MMO's since Ultima online, I know who is the crowd they are after... a competitive bunch, gambling on themselves is exactly why they need.</p>\n<p>As I was looking at the price doing nothing and waiting, for no apparent reason, price started to surge, I was excited... and scared, \"what if I am missing the train\", \"it's taking off to the moon and I am staying here\", eventually I bought the shit for almost its ATH, ATM I am -85% for the $. It is not that I don't believe in the product, but apparently, for it, being worth what I bought it for, there's still lots to do, and a community to develop.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>If anything I want you to take from reading this post is that your investments should not be emotional, it's the best way to lose money, and the pumpers know it, they let you see the promise of earnings so close to you, you can smell it and almost taste it, at that moment and pumper on the other side with shitloads of money (for you... for him it's monopoly money) pulls the rug under your feet. the key is research, and a strategy, why now? how much am I willing to lose, and what is my strategy going up.</p>\n<p>Can't tell you what the future holds for the coin, as I am not an oracle, but I think it has great potential and a community that loves spending money on games, and like to compete.</p>\n<p>I might do a technical analysis of the market for you in the future.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Happy investing, and good luck</p>\n</html>",
