There would always be sides taken and this is based on how we have perceived it. I won't even dwell on the interview and the words he has spoken but speak about how he finally came to terms that age indeed isn't on his side anymore.\n\nEverything Ronaldo did during the second season of his second spell with Manchester United shows a man who finds it hard to accept being overlooked or being benched. He feels he can still do it and I admire his resilience because it led him up to this point in his stellar career but there comes a time you just have to be honest with yourself and ignore what everyone would say.\n\nI think he's struggling to come to terms with his new reality because he consistently want to be the best and no doubt, he doesn't want to fall too far off away from Lionel Messi. This is not an argument as to who is the best because I hardly engage in such debate as I hold both players in high esteem. I feel Ronaldo finally came to terms with the acceptance that he couldn't keep up with the pace in Europe anymore. Maybe he is tired of the whole media and decided to go far away but I don't think the media would go away nor would the comparison with Lionel Messi fade as long as they are both playing and living.\n\nHe has finally come to terms and he went off to Al-Nassr in Saudi Pro League. If you can't win more trophies at least make more money and I don't see what's wrong with his choice. A lot of people fault his moves maybe because of his past words but this is now a man who has come to accept his new reality because age has finally caught up with him.\n\nI watched him struggle for pace sometimes and it was hard to believe. European football is moving at such a fast pace these days and I have to genuinely say he is struggling to keep up with the pace. With the way everyone is criticizing him for not tracking back and all. The truth is, Ronaldo is never that type of player to track back. Just give him the ball and let him deliver. All you need around him is a quality service. He's a different player to Lionel Messi so expecting him to be all about tracking back and assist is a bit absurd to be honest.\n\nThey are demanding more than he is willing to give. He tried but other aspect of his game suffered for it as the goals weren't coming and his fierceness got reduced. With the pace and how things might be in Saudi Pro League, I believe he would get the goals if they can deliver quality services to him. I checked their league today and noticed they are top of the league with a point. His addition would strengthen them on the pitch as we have seen how their numbers skyrocketed on social media.\n\nI'm not going to say anything against his move other than, this is a man that has finally come to terms with his new reality and he moved to a league where he can cut it. He has won everything he needs to win in European football and his records cannot be taken away from him. His legacy cannot be cancelled because he moved to Saudi Arabia. A lot was said about Pele not coming to Europe too during his Santos days and till his last breath and after, we are still celebrating what a great player he was. The same would be about Ronaldo.\n\nWe would talk about his second stint, his interview and how childish he acts sometimes with not setting worthy examples but still, we would also talk about what a great player he is and the records he has broken. Those achievements cannot be taken away from him and his name would forever be in the annals of football history whether as his records stay up there or as others come from behind to break it. His name would always be mentioned.\n\nHe has come to terms with his latest reality, it's time the world come to terms with his decision and stop dragging it unnecessarily. After all, they have said no one wanted him and now he moved to where is feels wanted and the money is good, so if he was your brother, would you have asked him to turn down the money again? He's 37 and at most, he has 3 years left to play and that league looks like it would ease him into retirement and I can only wish him all the best.\n\nNow, I have to keep an eye on the Saudi Arabia Pro League...all thanks to Ronaldo 😂 just as I started taking interest in the French League, thanks to the magician, Lionel Messi.\n\nCheers.\n\nGingered Up! ❣️",

Aston Villa blew Manchester United away and I must say I am not surprised. This Manchester United side can be so unreliable and they haven't convinced anyone yet. They enjoyed a decent run without defeat but those performances were not convincing either.\n\nThe fans are another set of problems to deal with because everyone seems to be pointing fingers at individual players rather than admitting that this team is not at its optimum best yet. I  laugh at people when they say Ronaldo is the problem. There is no denying the fact that he has been missing chances and has lost his pace with the ability to beat players but I don't see him as the problem. They also said that Bruno has been the problem. The same Bruno that would play his heart out even though he is also culpable of some sloppy passes.\n\nVan De Beek that has been in everyone's mouth since last season as though he's a good player and we are not giving him the chances. He took the place of Bruno Fernandes and he became a passenger in the team. I've never seen anything remarkable about Van De Beek anytime we use him. He was sent on loan and still wasn't a guaranteed starter, so what are we saying? Either the guy is not up for the fight or Manchester United has been struggling to find the right spot for him. Manchester United used him centrally, but he failed. He played behind the striker, but he failed. He took up one of the three attacking roles behind the striker in a 4-2-3-1 formation, but he still failed. \n\nManchester United need to be ruthless but I don't think they are ready because they are the architect of their own problems. Jones is still on the payroll. Van De Beek needs to be sold. Ronaldo needs to go, not because he's terrible but because this team need to rebuild and he's 37. The early Manchester United start this rebuilding, the better for them, if not, Aston Villa's defeat will be the least of more embarrassments to come.\n\nAston Villa turned to Barcelona in their prime all of a sudden. You can see their attacking flow which Manchester United didn't have. Manchester United had some chances which despite not playing at their best they should have won the match but this team is lacking in confidence to take on teams. They are only enjoying individual efforts from certain players who decided to take initiative. Gone are the days when you will see them start a good attacking play which would lead to a goal. Nowadays, the moment they start it, there is no confidence to attack and they would rather pass to the back. How the mighty has fallen.\n\nIs this the team that wants to face the same Aston Villa in the EFL Cup on Thursday? Or the same Manchester United side that would face Barcelona in the Europa League? I can only wish Manchester United all the best because, at this point, talks won't give them points but ruthlessness in letting players go and efforts.\n\nOn paper, Manchester United looks blessed with squad depth but in reality, those extra players are as light as the paper they use in printing team roaster for each game. Manchester United is not the hub for players who are just receiving paychecks for doing nothing.\n\nI'm not surprised about this team's current state but it's shameful to see that this team is not ready to make the necessary steps to become better despite seeing the testimonies of those who had to rebuild around them. It's quite shocking, to say the least, but what can I say? As long as they are still fooling the world that they are still the best to attract more investments, it's all about the money for the management. When they notice a huge decline in revenue and they are being avoided like a plague, maybe they would take this seriously.\n\nCheers.\n\nGingered Up! ❣️",

Mine was a bit disappointing for my Fantasy Premier League. I have more players with a lot of points sitting on the bench again with some starters not giving me the needed points. At this point, I need a seer that would see into the future to tell me which player to use and which one to keep on the bench.\n\n### Manchester City v Fulham.\n\nManchester City survived an early scare after Cancelo was shown a red card for denying a goal-bound opportunity with infringement. Fulham took the lead and who else to take it than Andreas Pereira? Sadly, I had him on the bench because I felt Manchester City would blow them out of the waters and yet again, I was proved wrong. I would have used him in place of Bernado if I had the magic wand. Erling Haaland came off the bench and scored a penalty that Kevin De Bruyne won late into the game. Even with a red card, Fulham couldn't hold on despite the controversial late penalty.\n\n### Chelsea v Arsenal.\n\nArsenal; the in-form team of the moment that sits pretty at the top of the table showed Chelsea why they are at the top of the table. Aubameyang couldn't get one over his former team. A lot of Arsenal fans mocked him and a single goal from Gabriel sealed the win. Potter Graham isn't finding life easy at the start of his managerial career at Chelsea. He needs to arrest the situation but it won't be easy. They are playing Manchester City next in their EFL Cup. Another loss would bring more scrutiny to him. I kept Saliba on the team but took Gabriel out only for Gabriel to get 15 points. Another pain for the week on this one.\n\n### Aston Villa v Manchester United.\n\nI don't have any players from these teams. Manchester United received some lessons from Unai Emery and his Aston Villa sides. The funny thing is they hardly learn so it's not a surprise. Aston Villa won by 2 goals margin with the game ending 3-1. \n\n### Southampton v Newcastle United.\n\nNewcastle United begin their life to the new season with a bang. They have been getting the points, playing their best and having this ease when they play. Southampton received a thumping of 4-1 from Newcastle United. I'm happy Almiron and Kieran Trippier gave me good points. \n\n### Tottenham v Liverpool.\n\nIt's the same story all over again for Tottenham with Liverpool picking the right form again them with a 2-1 win. Harry Kane did his part but just look at that Salah. He is finding form at the time a lot of people took him out of their team. That player is cheeky 😂. Both teams are not in their best moments but Liverpool did more to get the win against Tottenham. \n\nI still don't know what to do with my bench players. The time I might decide to use bench boost would be when those benched players won't have points to give me. This Fantasy Premier League is a funny one sometimes.\n\nWhat's your pick for the weekend? One of life's frustrations is that God's timetable is rarely the same as ours. We are often in a hurry when God is not. Remember that God is never in a hurry, but He is always on time.\n\nIf you feel the need for God in your life that is exactly how you are supposed to feel. You were never intended to do life on your own.\n\nThere’s enough judgment in the world; there’s enough criticism and faultfinding. Let’s be lifters. Let’s be encouragers. Let’s help someone else experience the God who stoops down, the God who redeems and restores.\n\nFor some of us, a relationship with God feels too far gone. We think we have messed up too much or we have strayed for too long. But if you are feeling this way, then you need to know that God does not operate on expiration dates.\n\nIf you are feeling low, trampled, unappreciated, or forgotten, realize those feelings are lying to you. You are brilliant, you are valued, and you are loved. Your future is bright and greater blessings are coming. Remember, you are a child of God, and you are His masterpiece.\n\nIf it matters to you, it matters to God. He knows you He sees you He hears you He cares about you He loves you He is for you He is with you  What then shall we say to these things?
