      "body": "<html>\n<p><img src=\"https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1000/1*tX48Igfv1A319pmPCgqBTg.png\" width=\"680\" height=\"440\"/></p>\n<p>Last week, the Giant team has attended to the Blockchain Life 2018 conference with founders and Project Manager Maria as representatives. It’s time to tell about how it proceeded and what it brought us.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>To be fair, we must give organizers their due and highlight the high level of organization. The conference has been held in the ExpoForum exhibition complex in which the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) has previously been held. There were two showrooms for speakers and a large exhibition hall in which each team could present its project. The conference has been visited by over 5000 people with different goals and background. We have written about this in a separate <a href=\"https://giantpay.network/pages/giant-insight-5\">Giant Insight</a>.&nbsp;</p>\n<h3>Our Goals</h3>\n<p><strong>Firstly,</strong> it was curious for us to see beyond the curtain of such events. To see first-hand and assess the competence level of the blockchain community on the part of the users, investors, as well as the cryptocurrency and blockchain endeavors themselves.</p>\n<p>Just as it was anticipated, the today’s level of competence is insufficient. It’s no secret that many speakers are trying to provide the newcomers with a simplified image of the crypto industry, pushing their own projects forward at the same time.</p>\n<p><strong>Secondly,</strong> we have been pursuing a goal to establish new contacts which will help us to develop our project. Despite the problems noted above, the conference has been visited by actual professionals able and ready for cooperation.</p>\n<p><strong>Thirdly,</strong> we deemed important to understand the sentiment dominating in the crypto industry to keep our agenda in touch.</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1000/1*J6j5TEqA3TcLeClp1y_6nA.jpeg\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\"/></p>\n<h3>Results</h3>\n<h3>Gentarium</h3>\n<p>Quite soon, in an exhibition hall, we’ve found a stand of the project we know about very well. The <a href=\"https://gtmcoin.io/\">Gentarium</a> team is openly declaring its goals, acts in accordance with the roadmap and shares our view on the work transparency. We were committed to the long-term cooperation, as both of our projects are using the masternodes technology and take steps in making the crypto community more familiar with it. Even more, they have developed a service which may prove interesting for the Giant users. We are certain that our projects can become mutually supportive.</p>\n<p>As we’ve found out, the Gentarium team is sharing our position and knows a lot about the Giant project. After the teams representatives became acquainted, we’ve started to discuss mutually interesting issues and exchange our experience. Now we can call Gentarium a friend of Giant. We are certain that there will be far more than one interesting collaborative initiative. Soon we are going to develop a tutorial video on how to launch a Giant masternode using the Gentarium platform. We were even promised to make a discount for all Giant users. Once again, we express our respect to their team!</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1000/1*8NUFrCiXenghZ44WEzXVFA.jpeg\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\"/></p>\n<h3>Exchanges</h3>\n<p>We had several pre-agreed meetings with the representatives of cryptocurrency exchanges. The Giant team has also established new contacts in this field as well.</p>\n<p>For example, we have met the delegates of <strong>EXMO</strong> and discussed potential listing variants. EXMO aside, we have also became acquainted with the managers of <strong>SIMEX</strong>, a platform with Las Vegas headquarters, and with a young exchange called <strong>Coindeal</strong>.</p>\n<h3>ICO Rating Agency</h3>\n<p>We were lucky and had an opportunity to become acquainted with Anastasia Blake, the representative of the assessment agency called ICO Rating. She has quickly demonstrated her expert understanding of the crypto market, exchanges, and has expressed interest towards our project. We have swiftly exchanged contacts and agreed to meet the next day. It was exactly this level of expertise we were searching for on this conference. We had quite a meaningful conversation. The Giant team members especially appreciate the direct and practical approach of our interlocutor. Anastasia spoke in a substantive manner which is quite a rarity in the crypto industry these days. In short, we have raised the following topics:</p>\n<ul>\n  <li>Giant strengths and weaknesses for market participants;</li>\n  <li>Moderate and large exchanges policy;</li>\n  <li>Potential allies for our project in the crypto industry.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>At a first glance, our project seemed like an overly-ambitious idea with an unprecedented approach. But the more we clarified the details, the more understanding about the chosen path we have received. As a result of the meeting, we have exchanged contacts again and continued to communicate online.</p>\n<p>Soon we have received an expert review from ICO Rating and valuable advice on our next development steps. Many marketing tactics we have underestimated before are now becoming a top priority. We are going to continue the work with Anastasia on listing on new exchanges, the final Giant.Exchange product presentation and on the promotion Giant technology itself. What’s most important is that it allows us to get the job done in such a way that the Giant technology release will receive a maximum coverage and get the appreciation it deserves. Popular online platforms, high-level international conferences are necessary for us to reach several audiences at the same time: brokers, traders, blockchain developers, JavaScript coders. Thanks to ICO Rating and Anastasia personally for this acquaintance and support!</p>\n<h3>Speeches</h3>\n<p>While Pavel was busy doing networking in the exhibition hall, Mikhail and Maria selectively listened to some discussions and speeches. Although most of them were targeted at the blockchain newbies, we have managed to find several gems.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>One of such gems was a panel discussion dedicated to the issues of regulation. It was hard to find any consensus among all members but the arguments used by the representatives of different spheres were especially valuable for us. The delegates from the blockchain industry, business, state institutions have all provided their own reasons and expressed concern over the lack of any crypto restrictions in Russia. At this phase of the project, we must understand the vulnerabilities and potential barriers for the Giant technology.</p>\n<p>Mikhail was especially pleased to hear <a href=\"https://twitter.com/ToneVays\">Tone Vays</a>. He has drawn very accurate parallels between the boom of ICOs and the dotcom boom. It’s good to see that the expert of this level is sharing our opinion about the current state of things in the crypto industry.</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1000/1*AikfeMWm35PFgN0nTzC-Kw.jpeg\" width=\"960\" height=\"639\"/></p>\n<h3>Conclusions We Made From the Conference</h3>\n<p>Despite the fact that the conference was largely based on marketing, we have found like-minded professionals and organizations and receive a valuable feedback together with several partnership opportunities. The common understanding of realia and crypto mainstream discussions will allow to form a much more precise project agenda and reach a larger audience. You can also see what previous sprint achievements have played a role in the formation of this new set of goals.</p>\n<h3>Technologies Development</h3>\n<p>Dmitry and Alexei are making great efforts to bring the Giant smart contracts system closer to release. At the moment of writing, Alexei consults with Dmitry on the critical issue of different versions of smart contracts and how the end user is engaging with them. Another crucial task of Alexei is to research the mechanism of fees, smart contracts validation, testing and readability checks.</p>\n<p>We’re welcoming aboard a new member of the team - Denis Seliverstov. After the initial adaptation, he will help Ablai with the Giant.Exchange front-end matters. This will additionally increase the efficiency and accelerate the pace of Giant.Exchange development. As a reminder, Giant.Exchange is only the first decentralized application on the Giant blockchain aimed to demonstrate its capabilities.</p>\n<p>As for the Giant website, Almas works with Maria to fix the remaining bugs on the Giant website and to analyze the data processing efficiency. It is quite important not to miss the potentially problematic points which, if unnoticed, may slow down the economic relations between the community participants. The dynamic system of Giant has several variants to solve the issue of undesirable script execution loops. This sprint, Giant technologies have become much more understandable, Alexei notes.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The progress of smart contracts building doesn’t stop. For instance, Dmitry and Alexei have been communicating on the matters of the Oracle mechanism (see previous Giant.Exchange-related materials for more information). Additionally, Dmitry has explained Alexei the matters of JavaScript statistical analysis, smart contract fees and deploy process. The internal financial operations logic, assessment mechanism and long-term scalability questions are under close observation. No development is possible without a comprehensive research.</p>\n<h3>Social Media &amp; Business Contacts</h3>\n<p>The team deanonymization was highly requested by the Giant community. The work on this matter has started even before this sprint. The final result is already available to see on Giantpay.Network. We have already received a lot of positive feedback. Blockchain Life 2018 in St Petersburg has been a diverse forum with the representatives of the cryptocurrency community. The recent Giant Insight may tell you more about the relations between traders, ICO projects, B2B services, funds and experts. The current disadvantages of the cryptocurrency market were also visible on this forum, and the Insight describes them too. Interesting partnership leads have been found. Human Resources</p>\n<p>Giant is always looking for new developers with the knowledge of C++ and Java FullStack. There have been 8 interviews of potential developers this sprint - quite a big number in comparison to the previous months. Nothing stops you from applying too: as the management and programming quality grows, we start to see more and more areas that could be quickly improved by a new specialist. Aside from this, responsibilities include teamwork, research and realistic planning of the sprint goals. We are still committed to the ‘less PR speech, more actual results’ principle and ready to share the details of our work.&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>Team</h2>\n<p>Welcome aboard, three new members - Ian, Anastasia and Denis! Now that the team has been joined by the new Java Full Stack Developer, a Content Manager and a Front End Dev respectively, the speed of the Giant teamwork has dramatically increased. This is evidenced by how some long-standing issues have either been solved or seen a lot of progress during this sprint. This becomes especially true when talking about the Giant.Exchange website - despite the fact that it’s already better than the previous version, some issues needed fixing. This has become possible thanks to Ian and Anastasia.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;Meanwhile, the third new Giant project participant Denis Seliverstov has started to help Ablai with the Giant.Exchange Activity tab. This is an important component of the marketplace, as it shows the history of user actions. The results of their collaboration can be seen on <a href=\"https://github.com/GiantPay/GiantExchange.git\">GitHub</a>. The Deals list was another top concern of Ablai and Denis among with the list of current Giant.Exchange self-governance proposals put to the vote.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;Overall, we can state that our decision to hire new members is already paying out positively for the Giant project. Everybody has experienced burnout - when there’s a lot of tasks you must solve and nobody’s helping. This is absolutely unacceptable because if the team member stress is increased, the quality of the end product falls. Now we can state that everybody’s doing their job without distracting to anything else.&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>Technologies Development</h2>\n<p>This field of work, too, was in close connection with the positive changes in the Giant team, and here we can add that Alexei Bokarev had already adapted to the day-to-day processes and he is making great efforts to optimize GiantJS. Alexei is preparing a table of smart contract methods which will be included in the Giant documentation in the future. The execution fees calculation is a serious question researched by Alexei in cooperation with Dmitry. And again, the Giant fans who are skilled in programming can assess a part of the work made by Alexei on <a href=\"https://github.com/GiantPay/giantjs/commit/5bb6b98802a863b9d61be4c6524d943441e2f4f2\">GitHub</a>. The Giant team meets the eleventh sprint with high hopes: a team that has seen two serious additions will work even harder to bring you a solid product without any bugs or structural flaws. You can also read older progress reports by following <a href=\"https://giantpay.network/pages?c=PROGRESS%20REPORTS\">this link</a>.&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>Technologies Development</h2>\n<p>As the regular followers of Giant may know, our backlogs and sprint reports were not always containing groundbreaking announcements due to the fact that we were more focused on the most basic goals that required a lot of devs attention throughout several sprints. Now that these tasks are complete, the situation has changed: the internal communication system of Giant is filled with much more understandable Giant.Exchange interface and user-system interaction goals.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>For example, the Giant.Exchange Trading page still has some improvements to do, but our newcomers and veterans have already reached a mutual understanding on Giant technologies and the team will be able to start working on this issue from the very beginning of the sprint. Same can be said about the brokers list (on Giant team meetings, binary options are sometimes called brokers). A lot of work has been done during the previous time period of two weeks and this sprint, this task going to be much easier. Another similar task is the list of binary options deals. Both BT and TT (Broker vs. Trader and Trader vs. Trader) deal cycles have already been described on Discord.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The Giant blockchain will be able to maintain several decentralized applications (DApps) by using itself as an underlying structure. In order to make this possible, a set of tasks has been created. The Giant smart contracts command system will have been further improved this sprint.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;Parallel to the Giant.Exchange development, there is also an ongoing research of structures that already exist for their future optimization. The experience of PIVX and ALQO - the closest equivalents of Giant Coin - is also taken into consideration.&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>Social Media &amp; Informational Materials</h2>\n<p>The deanonymization of our team is one of the top tasks this sprint: we have already designed the page and now its actual implementation is what we are going to do. Another interesting idea which emerged as a result of our community feedback experience is to create another community survey (or, as one of the team members suggested, even create an article based on your most frequent questions). &nbsp;Our interview to Altcoin Magazine is almost ready. Below, you can see why exactly this period from 22 October to 4 November 2018 was good. You can also <a href=\"https://giantpay.network/pages/sprint-10-backlog\">read through</a> the backlog of the past sprint to see what was initially planned.</p>\n<h3>Human Resources</h3>\n<p>The biggest achievement of the past sprint is that we have found two valuable additions to the Giant team. JavaScript Specialist Alexei has joined us at the start of the aforementioned time period to work on the GiantJS (Giant Contracts Development Kit), while JavaFullstack developer Almas will oversee everything connected to the optimization of the Giant website. With the sound division of labour, the Giant.Exchange development pace will considerably grow.</p>\n<h3>Technologies Development</h3>\n<h4>Giant.Exchange</h4>\n<p><a href=\"https://giantpay.network/pages/what-is-giantexchange\">The Giant.Exchange</a> deal forms were the top priority of the Giant developers this sprint. The deal form depends on the scheme the Giant.Exchange Broker is using. In the Broker vs. Trader deal cycle, some elements are different than in the Trader vs. Trader cycle. Despite the difference in these two main types of binary option deals on Giant.Exchange, it was important to achieve a coherent framework for both of them. In this process, there was no divergence with the initial technical task set by the Lead Developer. We believe that the final product release will speak volumes about the capabilities of Giant blockchain.</p>\n<h4>GiantJS</h4>\n<p>There is a large spike of activity connected to our long-term tasks due to the new members of the team: the Giant collective newcomers are eager to consult with the Lead Developer on the issues of smart contracts and their syntax. This has already allowed the Giant team to reach a serious achievement in the field of labour division. Before this sprint, <a href=\"https://giantpay.network/pages/javascript-in-the-code-of-smart-contracts\">the SDK</a> was being created by the Tech Lead simultaneously with several other important components. Now the situation has become different, as the comprehensive dialogue with the Tech Lead and the following analysis of the Giant blockchain has made it possible for Alexei to independently work on the smart contracts development kit.</p>\n<p>The current task in the set related to GiantJS is to create a smart contract deploy method. This will open up an opportunity to add smart contracts into the Giant blockchain. The crucial element of the deploy method is the smart contract code execution financing system. We need to make a fee settlement mechanism and ensure that it’s performed simultaneously with the smart contracts code execution.</p>\n<h3>Social Media &amp; Informational Materials</h3>\n<p>The Giant writers and marketers have done a great deal in these two weeks to further improve the social media. On Discord, several new separate channels have been created to divide the news on the Giant products. As always, Giant development steps have been described on Discord in a comprehensible manner. The previously-announced video about Giant.Exchange is still under development and it is likely not to appear during the last days of this sprint.</p>\n<p>A supplementary task which can also be attributed to marketing was a full change of the Giant logo in all places it remained old. The most notable platform to have seen it this sprint was CryptoBridge, one of the two exchanges where you can buy and sell Giant Coin (GIC).</p>\n<p>The Giant team deanonymization has not happened yet, although we have done a great deal of work on the Team page on giantpay.network. It’s already complete, and quite soon, <a href=\"https://giantpay.network/pages/welcome-almas_fullstack\">Almas</a> will integrate it on the main website. Despite this, you might have noticed that now we are using the first names of the members of our team.</p>\n<p>In other news on Giant info content, a Web cryptocurrency media called <a href=\"https://medium.com/altcoin-magazine\">Altcoin Magazine</a> has asked us some interesting questions as part of the Giant team interview. Answers are likely to be published next sprint. We are to raise the Giant project presence in Telegram — the channel design and structure is almost ready. In the modern world of cryptocurrency, &nbsp;transparency of the development teams has become a real issue, and it is &nbsp;natural for us to tell as much about our work as we can.&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>Technologies Development</h2>\n<p>Giant.Exchange is going to be a primary focus of this sprint - we &nbsp;know that the community wants this more than anything else. This first &nbsp;decentralized application will demonstrate the real capabilities of the &nbsp;Giant blockchain.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>As you may know from the results of the previous sprint, we have &nbsp;finished our work on the binary options underlying asset graph to make &nbsp;it compliant with the latest standards of binary options trading. Now &nbsp;the Giant developers will switch to the remaining elements of the &nbsp;Trading Page. One of them, for example, is the list of available binary &nbsp;option contracts which are called Brokers - because at the end of the &nbsp;day, binary options will be created by Brokers. All of them will be &nbsp;independent from the Giant team. Also, we are going to finish several &nbsp;other interface elements such as various pop-up windows. Messages on &nbsp;them will appear on <a href=\"https://discordapp.com/channels/439069251618340864/\">our Discord</a>.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The Giant.Exchange website is also a serious objective of the Giant &nbsp;team this sprint: the landing page of Giant.Exchange must greet &nbsp;newcomers with useful guidance and links to other crucial pages of the &nbsp;platform.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>As for the Giant blockchain, our another global task is to add the &nbsp;support of Giant smart contracts technology. This measure will not &nbsp;necessarily be implemented this sprint, but the work on Giant smart &nbsp;contracts never stops and each new Friday we found ourselves with less &nbsp;code strings needing to be written or fixed. Moreover, the quick team &nbsp;expansion with the new developers will allow to dramatically accelerate &nbsp;the pace of this process. In particular, the priority task for the &nbsp;JavaScript professional we are searching for will be the release of the &nbsp;smart contract GiantJS sandbox. The underlying asset graph &nbsp;will provide a relevant information for the Giant.Exchange users and &nbsp;will be both easy-to-understand for newcomers and familiar for &nbsp;experienced traders. The following is an excerpt from the actual task &nbsp;set by the Tech Lead.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>All this has been implemented and then upgraded by using the modern &nbsp;classic trading platform graphs as a reference. For example, the &nbsp;rendering of the price motion line was redesigned in accordance with the &nbsp;best practices of fiat exchanges. While digital assets are indeed &nbsp;financial innovation, nobody told that their measurement tools must be &nbsp;based on completely new economic principles which, in turn, means that &nbsp;it would make no sense to ignore the trading interface design &nbsp;achievements of Internet forex exchanges and other fiat platforms.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Secondly, we have introduced the updated <a href=\"https://giantpay.network/wallet\">Giant wallets</a> &nbsp;for all the major operational systems! Please note that this update is &nbsp;not mandatory - you old wallet clients will still work. The new Windows, &nbsp;Linux and Mac client versions have changes mostly connected with the &nbsp;Giant brand design. Note that if you are a Windows user and have an &nbsp;Intel processor, the 32-bit version of the wallet will work less &nbsp;unstable even on the 64-bit operating system.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Other long-term tasks including careful preparations for Giant smart &nbsp;contracts mainnet introduction have not been ignored by the team &nbsp;throughout this sprint as well. In less than 24 hours, we have &nbsp;seen 50 respondents. The survey has not ended yet - you can still <a href=\"https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScNLeiXJnm707OXipfYU5OSVjvvg16cGM4Asg31_Idi7usuqA/viewform\">take part here</a> and thus improve the Giant project strategy.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>A new thread on BitcoinTalk has been made. One of the oldest &nbsp;cryptocurrency discussion platforms online now has a thread with actual &nbsp;specifications of our blockchain and cryptocurrency. This was the main &nbsp;need to change the thread — the old one was created at the PoW phase and &nbsp;contained the elements of old brand design. <a href=\"https://giantpay.network/pages/URL\">&nbsp;Our Facebook page</a> has been updated as well.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Google Analytics tell that Germany is the third country in the list &nbsp;of most interested in our project. One of our fans who owns a Giant &nbsp;masternode will now translate the most important news into German and &nbsp;even made a separate German BitcoinTalk thread.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>From this sprint forward, we have decided to post more minor Discord &nbsp;announcements regarding the work objectives of the Giant team - Giant &nbsp;Inside. Giant Insight is another new type of informational material - <a href=\"https://giantpay.network/pages?c=GIANT%20INSIGHT\">they tell</a> about the opinion of the Giant team on current cryptocurrency trends.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>On Discord, we have separated the Giant blockchain news feed and the Giant.Exchange news feed. <a href=\"https://giantpay.network/pages/giant-is-not-binary-options-only\">Giant is not binary options only</a> &nbsp;- as a matter of fact, Giant.Exchange is only a demonstration of the &nbsp;Giant blockchain and smart contracts capabilities. In the future, you &nbsp;may create an even better and useful product by using the Giant &nbsp;environment.&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>Human Resources</h2>\n<p>The human resources deficiency remains one of the objective problems &nbsp;of Giant and it is the major reason of our MVP delay. To increase the &nbsp;pace and optimize our work, two vacancies are opened and there were many &nbsp;candidates this sprint for the position of JavaScript Fullstack &nbsp;Developer and for the JS Developer. This, in turn, will bring the release of the &nbsp;platform closer.&nbsp;</p>\n<h1>Social Media &amp; Information Materials</h1>\n<p>Simultaneously with the recent major update of the website, Giant &nbsp;will increase its social media presence to attract newcomers. And by the &nbsp;way, the new website still has some more internal pages to be done. &nbsp;This task is likely to be completed by the end of this sprint because &nbsp;the majority of the work in this field is already finished.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>We are also creating a new thread on BitcoinTalk to update the info &nbsp;on the project. The overall design of the old thread needed changes as &nbsp;well. The old BitcoinTalk thread was created at the earliest stages of &nbsp;the project - and now the Giant technology as a smart contracts and &nbsp;DApps execution environment is much more well-defined. The actualization &nbsp;of our social media channel on BitcoinTalk will provide a better &nbsp;understanding of users’ privileges and responsibilities available within &nbsp;the Giant blockchain.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Giant will also optimize the blog on Facebook and prepare new email &nbsp;notifications for the participants of Giant.Exchange Airdrop. The Giant &nbsp;team plans to get rid of the old logo everywhere it’s still present.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>When the Giant.Exchange is released, we must be ready for the demand &nbsp;for an easy access to GIC, especially considering the fact that most of &nbsp;the future customers will not be experienced traders who know about each &nbsp;and every crypto platform. This is why we are going to need to list GIC &nbsp;on popular and reliable exchanges. Like &nbsp;many other IT projects, Giant tries its best to solve the majority of &nbsp;short-term tasks in two-week periods called sprints. This management &nbsp;model for software developers is called Scrum.</p>\n<h1>Technologies Development</h1>\n<p>In &nbsp;full accordance with the backlog, Giant developers have been working on &nbsp;the safe and secure integration of smart contracts into the Giant &nbsp;blockchain. Due to the fact that Giant.Exchange and all other planned &nbsp;decentralized applications will actively use this technology, it is very &nbsp;important not to act rashly. As evidenced by <a href=\"https://medium.com/new-alchemy/a-short-history-of-smart-contract-hacks-on-ethereum-1a30020b5fd\">the history</a> &nbsp;of other smart contracts projects, it’s in the best interest of the &nbsp;community to prevent vulnerabilities from the start instead of dealing &nbsp;with the tough consequences of hacks and thefts.</p>\n<p>This &nbsp;refactoring included many various subtasks, and the development of the &nbsp;future update for Giant CLI was the most notable one. Users will be able &nbsp;to get the information on a chosen smart contract by using simple &nbsp;commands.</p>\n<p>The &nbsp;Giant.Exchange underlying assets price motion graphs mentioned in &nbsp;Sprint #8 Backlog have seen several changes as well, as reported by the &nbsp;developer directly responsible for the issue. The old Giant website was &nbsp;outdated, as unanimously agreed by the team after an independent review. &nbsp;New descriptive texts on Giant products have been composed, and again, &nbsp;it was critical to create quality materials. You can report any &nbsp;interface mistakes on the new website in case they escaped our &nbsp;attention.</p>\n<p>The &nbsp;biggest challenge of the update process was to provide an &nbsp;easy-to-understand explanation of a sophisticated project filled with &nbsp;countless features. This became possible through new illustrative means &nbsp;such as infographics, annotations with links to extensive articles — all &nbsp;this was not present on the old website. Now you can, for example, &nbsp;switch between different features to understand the strengths of the &nbsp;Giant project in a eponymous section.</p>\n<p>This &nbsp;major change will have a long-term positive consequences related to &nbsp;marketing, as it will raise the level of conversion. This term means &nbsp;that less people will be discouraged with the poor design before even &nbsp;realizing the project benefits. The new users will immediately recognize &nbsp;the project potential after arriving on the new website.</p>\n<h1>Informational Materials</h1>\n<p>The &nbsp;project White Papers on the old website were far from ideal. With the &nbsp;help of the project founders and developers, the Giant writers have &nbsp;seriously raised the quality of these documents. The new website <a href=\"https://giantpay.network/whitepaper\">contains</a> the new version of the Giant, Giant.Exchange and Giant.Contracts White Papers.</p>\n<p>The long-awaited comparative<a href=\"https://giantpay.network/pages/blockchain-binary-options-platforms-comparative-analysis\"> analysis</a> &nbsp;of Giant.Exchange with other projects is finally published! This is the &nbsp;biggest educational material on our site by far. Several &nbsp;platforms — Betex, BlockOptions.io, Spectre.ai — are compared to &nbsp;Giant.Exchange by several criteria.</p>\n<p>The &nbsp;most important conclusion of this research is that the Giant underlying &nbsp;asset price motion data supply mechanism (Oracles) has no full &nbsp;equivalents on the market of blockchain binary options platforms. In ICOs, the audience reaction &nbsp;can be based on announcements only. Fees are less dependent on hype.</p>\n<p>Let’s start with fees - amount of money charged for various operations.</p>\n<p><em>Betex.</em> &nbsp;There are various types of commissions which can potentially discourage &nbsp;customers. The first mentioned in the White Paper is the fee imposed &nbsp;for the purchase of SBT token for other digital currencies - 40,000 gas &nbsp;or around $1. The same amount will be charged for a reverse operation - &nbsp;changing SBT to BTC, ETH or other cryptocurrencies. The betting fee will &nbsp;range from 20,000 to 240,000 gas ($0.32-$0.64). The ‘bet basket’ &nbsp;closure will be around 45,000 gas or $0.12. SBT tokens income payouts &nbsp;are to be charged with 80,000 gas or $0.21 in case of one winner. &nbsp;Amusingly, there is also a ‘referral rewards payout’ fee the size of &nbsp;which has been described as ‘still unknown’ - if the developers don’t &nbsp;know the amount of imposed fees, who else will? The project has held its &nbsp;own ICO.</p>\n<p><em>BlockOptions.</em> The planned charge is <a href=\"https://github.com/blockoptions/blockoptions/blob/master/whitepaper/whitepaper.md\">0.005-0.01 ETH per opened trade</a>, &nbsp;and the developers do not hide the fact that this is going to be the &nbsp;main source of the platform income. The project has also started its own &nbsp;ICO but ultimately failed due to Chinese ICO ban (see more in the <em>Funds Raised</em> section).</p>\n<p><em>Spectre.ai.</em> fees are not paid for the opening of trade positions, although each trading process <a href=\"http://nodesofvalue.com/spectre/\">will have</a> a fee of 4%, of which 2% goes to the platform and 2% — to SXDT holders. And, again, this project has, too, held its own ICO.</p>\n<p><em>Giant.Exchange.</em> &nbsp;Fees will be imposed in GIC for opening smart contracts. The default &nbsp;marketplace fee is 1%. The same amount is taken from brokers in ‘traders &nbsp;vs. traders’ options and oracles for the creation of their smart &nbsp;contracts. This initial ‘1+1+1’ scheme makes 3% of total finance going &nbsp;to the platform budget stored on the ‘Giant.Exchange’ smart contract.The &nbsp;fees of Giant.Exchange will be defined on a separate vote held &nbsp;simultaneously with the release of the platform. Masternode owners will &nbsp;have vote multiplicators, yet common users will be able to participate &nbsp;as well. If the community decides so, the fees may either become big or &nbsp;small. The decisive factor is the further well-being of the platform all &nbsp;parties are interested to keep. As the project stakeholders, masternode &nbsp;owners are interested in keeping a reasonable fee size.</p>\n<p>Another &nbsp;way to attract financing is also worth mentioning. &nbsp;Cryptocurrency-related projects sometimes hold promotional campaigns &nbsp;with the help of affiliates - in exchange for promotion, they get &nbsp;rewards. Let’s see how the reviewed platforms have implemented this &nbsp;idea.</p>\n<p>When it comes to Betex, it seems that they have decided not &nbsp;to use this ad scheme at all. The White Paper of Block.Options mentions &nbsp;affiliates who “send new traders to BlockOptions.io's Platform and get &nbsp;paid with ETH from affiliate smart contract”, although they don’t show &nbsp;any examples of this smart contract. On Spectre, the reward depends on &nbsp;the quantity of trades which happened thanks to the effort of the &nbsp;affiliate — ‘50% of Spectre's 2% fee per trade, and additional bonuses &nbsp;based on active promotions’.</p>\n<p>Judging by the current state of the &nbsp;projects (see the token stats above), Spectre has managed to establish a &nbsp;good affiliate program, while Block.Options has only described this &nbsp;possibility. If implemented at all, it was unpopular.</p>\n<p>Giant has &nbsp;held several bounty campaigns but we never viewed this process as a main &nbsp;tool to attract more customers. In our view, the actual work on &nbsp;Giant.Exchange is much more important. After release, the market will &nbsp;adequately assess the results of this work without the help of paid &nbsp;promotion.</p>\n<h2>Tokens</h2>\n<p>The overwhelming majority of the &nbsp;platform tokens are based on the popular ERC20 standard. This led us to &nbsp;use Etherscan as a reliable source of information regarding the current &nbsp;state of these projects.</p>\n<p>Betex tokens (SBT) <a href=\"https://etherscan.io/token/0xbd270f9a96ed49a1c82055a22ad9b8eec564097f\">have only 436 holders</a> &nbsp;at the moment of writing and a small transfer count - 1072. &nbsp;BlockOptions has a similar picture - 429 addresses and 1049 transfers. &nbsp;This dramatically differs with Spectre.ai. This fully corresponds with<a href=\"https://www.investopedia.com/terms/h/howey-test.asp\"> the classic Howey test</a> &nbsp;which originated in 1946 long before any digital tokens were even made. &nbsp;Note that just like you, we don’t know where the remaining 10% of &nbsp;profits goes - the information on profits comes from Page 11 of their <a href=\"https://betexlab.com/betex-wp.pdf\">White Paper</a>.</p>\n<p>BlockOptions &nbsp;see their ERC20 token quite similarly to how we see Giant Coin - the &nbsp;main tool of dividends and a digital means of payment. Despite this, &nbsp;BlockOptions still gains fees in Ethereum (ETH) which is mentioned in &nbsp;the same material. Meanwhile, on Betex the fees are made in gas - &nbsp;Ethereum operation execution fee units. On Giant.Exchange, Giant Coin &nbsp;(GIC) will be the main commission unit, just like SXUT on Spectre.ai. &nbsp;One thousand Giant Coins which create a masternode share some properties &nbsp;with the SXDT token, for example, the exchange budget distribution &nbsp;participation. This aside, every masternode receives a block validation &nbsp;reward.</p>\n<h2>Internal Means of Payment</h2>\n<p>The important component &nbsp;of any crypto trading platform is its internal means of payment. &nbsp;Developers can choose to use a cryptocurrency or a token and thus &nbsp;greatly increase its liquidity. But, as we have just seen from the token &nbsp;stats above, introducing the digital payment tool itself does not &nbsp;guarantee that the project will be widely popular. Regardless, let’s see &nbsp;how the reviewed projects implemented this.</p>\n<p><em>Betex</em>. Founders claim it uses SBT as the main tool of rewards for traders who made the right move.</p>\n<p><em>BlockOptions</em>. Has an ERC20-based tool called BOP used on par with Ethereum. &nbsp;</p>\n<p><em>Spectre.ai and Giant.Exchange.</em> &nbsp;As mentioned at the end of the last paragraph, there are fee tools made &nbsp;by the creators of both platforms. GIC and SXUT can also act as a means &nbsp;of payment between the participants of binary options trading.</p>\n<h2>Decentralized Data Storage</h2>\n<p>If &nbsp;the platform is overly-centralized, the funds can easily be snatched by &nbsp;the hackers or even the rogue managers. The reviewed marketplaces have a &nbsp;different approach towards how to store the money of the customers.</p>\n<p><em>Betex.</em> &nbsp;Developers claim that in comparison to usual binary options platforms, &nbsp;its smart contract system has made the automatic withdrawal of funds &nbsp;possible at any time. In other words, cold storage might &nbsp;come in handy for individual traders, but keeping all the funds of the &nbsp;marketplace on a physical hard drive is too risky.</p>\n<p><em>Spectre.ai </em>offers &nbsp;customers to trade by connecting an independent crypto wallet, yet &nbsp;there is an option to open the ‘onsite trading account’. The use of &nbsp;external wallets may solve the funds problem partly. However, there are &nbsp;once again no mentions of how the platform budget is stored.</p>\n<p><em>Giant.Exchange</em> &nbsp;will have its own smart contract to store the marketplace budget coming &nbsp;from fees. The principle of the smart contract is distributing funds &nbsp;according to the voting results on each initiative announced through the &nbsp;Giant.Proposals system. The user funds are stored on their own wallets &nbsp;in the Giant blockchain and, at the time of the purchase of the binary &nbsp;option contract, these funds are placed on the wallet of the smart &nbsp;contract that makes this possible. After this choice is made, they are &nbsp;either transferred to the broker's account or returned to the trader &nbsp;with a profit.</p>\n<p>This eponymous ‘Giant.Exchange’ contract will have &nbsp;an explicit prohibition to simply withdraw all funds to a cryptocurrency &nbsp;wallet.</p>\n<h2>Asset Price Data Source</h2>\n<p><em>Betex.</em> It uses the &nbsp;average weighted price or a ‘composite rate’ made of the data provided &nbsp;by several unspecified digital currency exchanges. This is a relatively &nbsp;known cloud platform independent from BlockOptions, it provides the &nbsp;market information to fintech companies on a regular basis.</p>\n<p><em>Spectre. </em>It &nbsp;gets the prices info from two sources, including Xignite which we just &nbsp;saw mentioned in the BlockOptions materials. We can see its wide &nbsp;popularity. Another source is unspecified. The data coming from these &nbsp;two sources is ‘monitored and audited’, Spectre vows.</p>\n<p><em>Giant.Exchange</em>. &nbsp;The data can be provided by individual Oracles who use eponymous smart &nbsp;contracts to link the exchange/price aggregator API with the binary &nbsp;options marketplace. The reputation system will make it possible to &nbsp;swiftly detect rogue Oracles. The traders will always see where the data &nbsp;is coming from and can check the source reputation by searching the &nbsp;related information on the Web. The amount of data sources can &nbsp;potentially become much bigger than on Spectre, BlockOptions and Betex.</p>\n<h2>Brokers</h2>\n<p><em>Betex and Spectre.ai</em> &nbsp;claim that traders will only bet against other traders. The latter &nbsp;platform also offers an opportunity to bet against the decentralized &nbsp;crowdsourced ‘liquidity pool’. Due to the extremely bad reputation of &nbsp;classic binary options brokers, some of the reviewed platforms have &nbsp;decided to abandon this concept completely.</p>\n<p><em>BlockOptions.</em> &nbsp;It’s interesting how the authors of the White Paper go through a lot of &nbsp;effort to persuade the reader about the nefarious nature of regular &nbsp;brokers, instead offering Bankrollers - they ‘send ETH or BOP to create &nbsp;an asset contract or back existing contracts and make profit from &nbsp;bankrolling’.</p>\n<p><em>Giant.Exchange</em>. As in the previous case, &nbsp;there is also a category of people who create new binary options &nbsp;contracts independently from the platform owners or creators, but they &nbsp;are simply called Brokers.</p>\n<p>Interesting to see how very different &nbsp;platforms are united in the idea that traditional binary options brokers &nbsp;must either be redefined or excluded from trading completely. The &nbsp;user-generated content (USG) principle is executed in different forms on &nbsp;all of the reviewed platforms.</p>\n<h2>ETH Price Dependence</h2>\n<p><em>Betex and BlockOptions.</em> &nbsp;The big disadvantage of all Ethereum-based decentralized applications &nbsp;is the volatile price of Ethereum which may affect the reputation and &nbsp;the user interest towards them. In this regard, Betex looks most &nbsp;dependent, as its fees are made in gas. The situation with BlockOptions &nbsp;is quite similar: Ethereum is used to charge for trades opening which &nbsp;can prove demanding in case this cryptocurrency becomes higher than it &nbsp;is right now.</p>\n<p><em>Spectre.ai</em> actively uses its tokens to &nbsp;replace Ethereum, yet the indirect influence of Ethereum news and price &nbsp;motion can still harm the project. The dividends to SXDT token holders &nbsp;are paid in Ethereum which recently lost in value.</p>\n<p><em>Giant.Exchange</em> &nbsp;and other decentralized apps (DApps) will not depend on Ethereum &nbsp;because they were never linked with this cryptocurrency blockchain &nbsp;environment to begin with. Giant.Exchange will not be connected to the &nbsp;Ethereum blockchain and will use its own payment and fee tool - Giant &nbsp;Coin that has <a href=\"https://giantpay.network/pages/giant-blockchain-the-best-features-of-dash-and-ethereum\">the best features of Dash and Ethereum</a> &nbsp;combined. The wide use of Giant Coin (GIC) will compensate a high &nbsp;emission level There was, however, a problem connected with the &nbsp;well-being of Giant.Exchange DApps - mining whales started to simply &nbsp;mine and sell Giant Coin which was very harmful to the price stability. &nbsp;This undermined the viability of GIC as a main Giant DApps payment tool. &nbsp;The move to the Proof-of-Stake consensus algorithm has dramatically &nbsp;improved the situation.</p>\n<h2>Security Issues</h2>\n<p>Trading is &nbsp;always risky. Even the classic stock trading is regulated for decades &nbsp;and it has serious financial scandals, big losses, crises and fraud &nbsp;schemes. In the young crypto sphere, the risks multiply even higher. &nbsp;However, some platforms may be less riskier than others, and this can be &nbsp;said about Spectre.ai in comparison to Betex and BlockOptions.</p>\n<p><em>Betex. </em>If &nbsp;anything, it warns the potential customers of possible Ethereum &nbsp;blockchain vulnerabilities which can serve as an adverse effect on the &nbsp;work of the binary options platform. The approach of three &nbsp;platforms towards financial laws is another reason why binary options &nbsp;may be more secure on Spectre. Despite this, the standard problems of &nbsp;Ethereum originating from its blockchain can directly influence the &nbsp;platform future. Such problems include: numerous sharding technology &nbsp;implementation delays, decentralization deficiency and other problems &nbsp;previously described<a href=\"https://giantpay.network/pages/giant-blockchain-the-best-features-of-dash-and-ethereum\"> in the article</a> dedicated to the elements of Ethereum in the Giant blockchain.</p>\n<p><em>Giant.Exchange</em>. &nbsp;By far, the biggest security problem was a 51% attack attempt detected &nbsp;during the first steps of the project. The high GIC emission level has &nbsp;led to a quick rise of masternode and the subsequent decentralization &nbsp;acceleration which renders such attacks impossible.</p>\n<h2>Legal Framework</h2>\n<p><em>Betex</em>, &nbsp;as already mentioned before, strongly recommends everyone not to view &nbsp;their tokens as securities although the investment process fully &nbsp;corresponds to the main points of the Howey test. They have also &nbsp;mentioned the registration of their token in the SEC in Q3 2018 at the &nbsp;site roadmap - this easily might be just a marketing claim.</p>\n<p><em>BlockOptions.</em> &nbsp;In this enterprise White Paper, a similar disclaimer can be found at &nbsp;the very end. Both platforms have only rejected the security nature of &nbsp;their tokens.</p>\n<p><em>Spectre.ai</em> took stricter measures: its &nbsp;founders have blocked its website for American clients and implied that &nbsp;the bypass of this block will be a direct violation of the website terms &nbsp;of use. The U.S. regulators will not have complaints about the citizens &nbsp;participating in the unregistered securities trade.</p>\n<p><em>Giant.Exchange</em>. &nbsp;This ‘token as a security’ principle is irrelevant when it comes to &nbsp;Giant.Exchange: Giant Coin is a cryptocurrency used as a method of &nbsp;payments and fees. Contrary to the Howey test conditions, nobody will &nbsp;invest in Giant coin in hopes to gain profits off of others’ work. Those &nbsp;who would like to receive a passive income may consider establishing a &nbsp;network masternode.</p>\n<p>This <a href=\"https://www.reuters.com/article/us-cryptocurrencies-ether/u-s-sec-official-says-ether-not-a-security-price-surges-idUSKBN1JA30Q\">recent statement</a> &nbsp;of William Hinman, director of the United States Securities and &nbsp;Exchange Commission division of corporation finance, can be fully &nbsp;applied to Giant Coin:</p>\n<p><em>“Putting aside the fundraising that &nbsp;accompanied the creation of Ether, based on my understanding of the &nbsp;present state of Ether, the Ethereum network and its decentralized &nbsp;structure, current offers and sales of Ether are not securities &nbsp;transactions.”</em></p>\n<p>Another critical factor that separates Giant &nbsp;Coin from tokens: it doesn’t have a single emission center — thus it &nbsp;doesn’t fall under the definition of a token. Apart from this, &nbsp;Giant.Exchange does not require the KYC measures implementation, as its &nbsp;KYC-level security is backed by its blockchain. The &nbsp;Chinese-based project clearly didn’t expect the prohibition although &nbsp;the press indicated it might happen several weeks before it was imposed.</p>\n<h2>Funds Raised</h2>\n<p><em>Betex</em> has sold ~$10,233,480 of tokens during its ICO, according to <a href=\"https://icobench.com/ico/betex\">ICOBench</a>. &nbsp;It was held from 1st Mar 2018 to 15th Apr 2018. According to BitcoinTalk, the &nbsp;Chinese ICO ban <a href=\"https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2178725.0;prev_next=next\">has abruptly ended</a> &nbsp;the whole enterprise. As a result, we cannot find the exact numbers of &nbsp;the funds raised by the developers, but we can state with certainty that &nbsp;BlockOptions ICO had failed. The masternode owners are &nbsp;the main project investors, in a way, the decentralized digital board &nbsp;of directors. They are interested to keep the system in a healthy shape, &nbsp;initiate community proposals and vote on the changes and improvements &nbsp;financing. The system receives a potential to outlive its original &nbsp;creators. No payment tool on any other reviewed binary options platform &nbsp;has this opportunity. We can clearly see an outsider - &nbsp;BlockOptions. This was the only project which has failed to raise funds &nbsp;as it planned to do initially. The style of its White Paper leads to &nbsp;believe that the team did not manage itself very well, as it contains &nbsp;numerous mistakes. This management could eventually result in security &nbsp;breaches.</p>\n<p>Interestingly enough, the overwhelming majority of &nbsp;reviewed projects were launched in autumn 2017. Even though the project is better &nbsp;than some others, it still suffers from the chronic dependency on the &nbsp;Ethereum environment.</p>\n<p>Note that both Betex and Blockoptions do not &nbsp;use their tokens as both payment and fees tool, while Spectre.ai has a &nbsp;separate utility token. In the non-digital world, money can be used both &nbsp;in fees and payments, this is why one can say that Giant Coin is closer &nbsp;to being money than all other tokens from the table.</p>\n<p>The most &nbsp;notable con of Giant.Exchange is that it’s still not released, but soon &nbsp;you will see the first working prototype. This metagoal is followed by a myriad of small refactoring tasks. The existing blockchain network of Giant is now actively being prepared for smart contracts implementation. As a reminder, smart contracts are a crucial component of the future decentralized applications (DApps). In order not to make any mistakes along the way, ‘sporks’ — a new instrument of our coders — will be used for to significantly upgrade the verification of transactions. There are still some minor tests and corrections to be made before the actual introduction may occur.</p>\n<p>In addition, the Giant.Exchange binary options platform statistics tools are actively being built as you read these words, and the trading interface is nearing its final stages. As you are about to &nbsp;witness, the blockchain of Giant and solutions used in the Giant-backed &nbsp;decentralized applications (DApps) allow to prevent financial crimes &nbsp;with the KYC level of efficiency.</p>\n<h2>What Does KYC Mean?</h2>\n<p>The &nbsp;‘Know Your Customer’ principle is aimed at countering money laundering &nbsp;and terrorism financing. Traditional financial organizations (mainly &nbsp;banks) are using it widely, and there have been talks on the &nbsp;cryptocurrency sphere needing to implement this principle too. In &nbsp;practice, this simply means the verification of the user identity by &nbsp;using the copies of his/her identification papers. Another crucial &nbsp;element of KYC is the monitoring of financial transactions. Some &nbsp;cryptocurrency exchanges have installed it to quickly identify &nbsp;fraudsters. There has recently been a rise of such events due to the &nbsp;increased pressure of regulators. As with the overwhelming &nbsp;majority of cryptocurrencies, Giant founders do not control the Giant &nbsp;blockchain, the related financial community or its participants.</p>\n<h2>KYC and Giant.Exchange</h2>\n<p>Giant.Exchange &nbsp;does not allow to trade currencies for currencies - instead, traders &nbsp;are betting on the price motion by using the pre-created binary options &nbsp;contracts. The user funds originate from their money converted on crypto &nbsp;exchanges not in any way related to the original Giant founders. Brokers who create their own smart contracts cannot tamper with their &nbsp;basic mechanism - they can only change the individual parameters, for &nbsp;example, reward number, data source and time duration. It is impossible &nbsp;to receive the Trader funds for Brokers, as all the money is placed on &nbsp;the dedicated smart contract which does not belong to anyone and cannot &nbsp;be hacked.</p>\n<p>There is a lot of problems that centralized financial &nbsp;organizations have but decentralized do not. In a notable example, all &nbsp;Giant.Exchange smart contracts check for the actual presence of the &nbsp;funds of all parties involved - nobody can claim to have a certain sum &nbsp;of Giant Coins without actually possessing them. Contrary to this, paper &nbsp;contracts cannot automatically check for parties’ funds immediately at &nbsp;the stage of creation. With the Giant protocol, you cannot bet the money &nbsp;you don’t have and create binary options uncontrollably. The Giant.Exchange budget is stored on a separate smart contract which has &nbsp;an explicit prohibition for anyone to get immediate access to the &nbsp;savings. The masternode holders’ vote can determine how this budget will &nbsp;be used in the near future.</p>\n<p>To create smart contracts on Giant.Exchange, you must be a masternode owner. One masternode <a href=\"https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/giant-coin/\">costs</a> 1000 GIC or $496 at the time of writing. Only one account can use a certain masternode to create smart contracts, meaning it would be hard to multiply accounts. Any engagement with long-lasting effects on the &nbsp;Giant.Exchange blockchain requires a transaction signature with the &nbsp;masternode key. &nbsp;</p>\n<p>Same obstacles are made for those who would want &nbsp;to act as an Oracle and play dirty: Oracles can only find the &nbsp;cryptocurrency exchange API and provide data for Brokers, there is &nbsp;simply no room for manipulation. Same principles apply to all other Giant smart contracts creators. Theoretically, a fraudster could create a &nbsp;new crypto exchange with false information and try to connect it to Giant.Exchange via a new ‘Oracle’ smart contract, but all new contracts &nbsp;are listed only after the major support of other masternode owners after a dedicated vote takes place. There’s even more: any anomalous smart &nbsp;contract may be deleted after a community vote.</p>\n<p>Speculations and &nbsp;other illicit activities appear in communities where the rules are &nbsp;unclear. The Giant.Exchange rules are quite strict towards all the &nbsp;binary option contract parties which eliminates the opportunity to &nbsp;deceive investors.</p>\n<p>In a way, Giant.Exchange has its own public KYC &nbsp;system where all active smart contract creators are connected to a &nbsp;known masternode. The user reputation system can also show any &nbsp;suspicious actors. When a new Oracle connects an unknown exchange as a &nbsp;new price data source or when a new Broker creates a binary option &nbsp;related to a previously-unknown digital asset, not only his/her smart &nbsp;contracts are likely not to pass the community pre-approval, the &nbsp;reputation may easily become downvoted by other members. The wide range &nbsp;of offered smart contracts will ensure that the majority of users will &nbsp;choose the best-working ones.</p>\n<h2>Conclusion</h2>\n<p>Let’s summarize what prevents financial crimes on Giant.Exchange:</p>\n<ul>\n  <li>currency conversion is not available</li>\n  <li>high masternode price barrier for rogue Brokers and Oracles</li>\n  <li>the prohibition to use one masternode for multiple accounts</li>\n  <li>funds availability confirmation</li>\n  <li>Brokers can only change the basic parameters of a binary option contract</li>\n  <li>Oracles can only change the data source API</li>\n  <li>smart contract votes with all other masternode owners participating</li>\n  <li>user reputation system</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This &nbsp;leaves only one opportunity for criminals - to hack our platform and/or &nbsp;Giant blockchain. As you might deduce, KYC has never stopped hackers &nbsp;from stealing bank funds. Decentralization is what can completely &nbsp;eliminate a single point of hacking and solve other different security &nbsp;issues. Giant.Exchange is just one of the possible means of interaction &nbsp;with the Giant blockchain, and this is why its potential vulnerabilities &nbsp;are not a threat to users. It is important to note here that any people &nbsp;posing as ‘Giant administrators’ who ask for your Giant Coin wallet &nbsp;data and/or Giant.Exchange account credentials are only trying to steal &nbsp;you money. If you don’t tell your passwords to anyone, you are unlikely &nbsp;to suffer from any criminals on Giant.Exchange.</p>\n<p>Note that &nbsp;Giant.Exchange is just the beginning of Giant smart contracts-based &nbsp;decentralized applications.
