The reason I want to clarify and bring this up is because it is clearly obvious what their position  and motivation was and is. In fact, the very reason for their existence is to poke fun subliminally at the flat Earth, make it sound ridiculous, and spread false information. To the critical thinker, their very existence is proof that something is not right.\n\nTo date my experience with them has been one of complete frustration. For those of us who had been trying to spread the word of the flat and stationary Earth, the “FES” was simultaneously doing the opposite. I’m not going to get into all their bad pieces of data and assumptions, will just point the obvious one out.\n\nThe FES maintains the position that Earth is in fact moving. “Dark energy” is accelerating the Earth upwards at the same speed the “gravitational acceleration” or constant, that would be in the current model. Essentially keeping “gravity” in the model, this time going up, rather than being “pinned down” I guess you could say. This piece of contradictory information is so far removed from the actual and more logical model of the flat Earth. Which they did 4x and were asked politely not too, on 3 others (they were than blocked). The consensus in the flat Earth community is pretty much these folks are some sort of government group (maybe CiA) tasked with trying to give the public bad information at first glance, poke fun of the idea of the Earth being flat, and “keeping tabs” on genuine truth seekers. Just another suggestion for the newcomer who might be looking for information. Thought I’d share a “helpful hint.” \n\nTill the change, be cool.
