But when you wake up every day already sad and mad that you need to go to your office job - maybe it is time to change something. A lot of people say ‘’I can quit any time, I will work a bit and then I will quit’’. I say,- “You can always come back’’. If you already had a job somewhere, after your travels you will look even better. \n\nSo if talking about my story - I quitted many times. :D Deep inside me I always knew I want to be free and travel, enjoy life. But the outside world was always telling me to find a job, settle and live happily ever after. Somehow I did not feel that way. So after working 6months in one tourism agency I just quit and start traveling around Europe. During that time worked in some bars, hotels - just to get some money for the living but nothing fancy. \n\nThen… I fall into the trap again. I agreed to work in another tourism agency. I was so happy for the first month - learning new things, being useful and so on. But after a while I realised nop, this is not my place neither… \nIt is very easy to fall to your comfort zone, routine and don’t worry about the future.. But that is how life passed by and you do not even realise it. \n\nTo be honest - this place gave me an opportunity to find myself - a tour guide course. Since I finished I started to work as a tour guide in my city and in this case travel every single day with the stories of my tourists! That is so much fun too! What is the different between these two words? I always said that I love traveling but not to ‘’Turkey'' where people just eat and go to beach. Now I understand that it is called vacation and some people do not need anything else than food and drinks in a fancy hotel. So I think it is fun to decide what you like best - traveling or just going on vacation? Read descriptions below and try to associate with how you feel about vacation and traveling! \n\nType 1\n\nWhen someone asks what is your dream trip, you start thinking about pool and a lot of food - probably you do not care much of a destination, more about hotel. And of course good weather. A perfect day looks like this: having amazing breakfast in a terrace, sunbathing next to the pool, big lunch, chilling at the pool with a cocktail and then dinner with some drinks. It is great to understand your type of traveling because then you can choose your trip with different criteria. You do not need car rental or many attractions around - you focus on a hotel and food quality. This is what I think when I get this kind of question. Traveling is the feeling of collecting memories and most of them comes from people, nature, adventures and challenges. You can always challenge yourself but abroad is really easier to go out of your comfort zone. And that is very important in everyones life. So since some time I realised that is great to travel and have beach vacation mixed together. I would recommend this to you too. Plan 4-5 days of exploring the country, history, meet new people, go on adventures and challenge yourself! And after that - get a hotel on the beach or in a calm area and enjoy some time there. In this case you will avoid a need of vacation after vacation. Trust me, I know the feeling of waking up 8 in the morning and being so tired after explorations. Greek traditional coffee originally is boiled on sand. Also, it is very small amount and comes not filtered. When ordering you can ask for sweet/medium sweet/no sugar options. Even though you prefer latte, you should try at least one Greek coffee. Another option is cold coffee – Frappe. Its is literally a foam but very tasty! Don’t forget to refill your coffee with water – just add it and you will have more of your coffee. Of course, the most popular is Samaria Gorge. If you want to go there you really need to dedicate one full day and next day should be more relaxed day as it is not so easy to walk a 16 km gorge. Of course, views are amazing. Just consider that you need to take a tour to get there as the road up to the mountain is not the easiest. In the end of a hike you will need to get a boat that brings you to a small village that bus can pick you up. But if you are staying on the other side of the island – check maybe there are other gorges around you? I bet there are! I found Milli gorge right where we were staying! So it was easy to reach, views were stunning and it was pretty easy so we could enjoy the time. I was not planning to mention particular sights but Matala is really special and it is a pity if you would miss it.  It is a former roman cemetery! And I like this fact better than that hippies used to live in the caves during 60s and 70s. Best thing about caves that you can go and climb to them and explore on your own. Now they already got an entrance fee but it is very cheap and definitely worth it.
