I'd never before heard of it, so therefore had no idea that Facebook apparently hates it and even some people are saying Facebook is scared of what Steemit will become.\nReally? Instagram, Tumblr and even Pintrest do that with a lot less hassle than this site gives you.\n\nThe idea is great, but the reality is totally the opposite.  The Bitcoin clan jumped in to Bitcoin to get out of a centralised currency system.  A system that is not controlled.  Yet, get this for irony.  Cashing in the Bitcoin for a currency that is controlled by the very people that you apparently despise so much.  It is hypocrisy on the grandest scale.  Take the good but not the bad.\nSteemit, if legit, will never be able to payout such huge sums of $ for pointless info and stupid pics.  It is not sustainable over any term.
