The auction is powered by an Ethereum smart contract of course.\n\nThe winner of each auction also gets a bonus of Investor Tokens proportional to the final price.\n\n# 2) Floor Crowdsale\nThe Crypto Tower houses a lot of floors. Each one is unique, it’s hand-crafted by our talented artists and has unique features. The DAO Hacker’s floor is on sale now.\n\nEach floor has an owner. In this section of the presale, everyone has the ability to pre-purchase a piece of the DAO Hacker’s floor and own it when the game is released. This will be the only avenue where you can actually get tokens by paying Ether for now, although indirectly.\n\nThe Tokens are very cool to have especially at the early game stage, because the way the game works, you will never be able to just buy them, and there’s no way to get a lot after the launch. Token holders automatically get a revenue share from each closed deal, and can use the tokens to pay for items, which are not sold for any other currency. For instance, the characters: you can’t buy or upgrade them with Ether, only for tokens.\n\nLet’s say we do achieve the 100K ETH turnover in Week 1. Assuming that investors get a 2% share (more in most cases), there will be a 2K ETH investor profit pool for distribution. If during the presale we sell for example 400 ETH worth of items, it will mean each 200 tokens (what you get when you spend 1 ETH) will yield around 5 ETH by the end of the first week of gameplay. (Investors’ Heaven, indeed.) For instance, if an asset trade goes through, the biggest share of the ETH amount involved goes to the deal-maker as profit, a second share accrues to token investors, and a third, smallest part goes to the devs. (Hey, we need our afternoon tea supplies too. 😊) \n \nAmong token holders, ETH is further distributed in accordance with the share of tokens that they hold, in tiers. You can of course withdraw the ETH you earn from our platform directly. (Getting excited yet?)\n\nBut that’s not the only use for the tokens. They are the currency you buy cool stuff for, keep reading on.\n \nBesides the core game-play component (and some it’s super secret features), which we think is going to be huge, the team will also incorporate many meta games in the platform, which will provide other opportunities for profit-making. This sounds impressive, but our team’s secret goal (ok, maybe not so secret anymore) is actually to gun for 100K ETH turnover in the first week. No kidding. And we’ll have a good chance of hitting our target too, with some other cool tricks up our sleeves!\n\nLet’s say we do achieve the 100K ETH turnover in Week 1. Assuming that investors get a 2% share (at least: it’s expected to be a bit more in fact), there will be a 2K ETH investor profit pool for distribution. In a basic scenario where there are around 1000 token-holders with 5 tokens each (our initial airdrop fans), each holder will get around 2 ETH by the end of the first week of gameplay. We know this sounds pretty crazy, but what’s new in the world of crypto?\n\nAnother example: one of our current community members, a popular blogger in Japan who’s driven around 300 new sign-ups, and has already been allocated >600 tokens!\n\nAt the moment he holds around 6% of all tokens. It will result in incredible 140 ETH of profit for the first week (for sure we need to achieve our goal to make it happen). In fact he’ll get an even bigger share of the investor profit ETH pool, read on the tiers below.\n\nBasically, it’s a Wild West time : we have around 10K tokens assigned at the moment. If you’ve got 1K tokens — you own 10% of the pool. And it’s super easy to get them now.\n\nTo ensure the fairness of our airdrop distribution, we will be weeding out cheaters via security check verifications.\n\n![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmPCNCRohHdpPme3nydiw1PSv68qRN2Naa9SBE49yyTooi/image.png)\n# How are profits in the Investor Token Pool distributed?\nWell, to reward investors who show greater support in the project, investor tiers will be introduced — i.e, bigger investors will get more profit per token held compared to smaller investors.\n\nThe exact numbers will be announced later, but a Tier One investor could potentially get ~+50% compared to what Tier 10 investors get out of their tokens.\n \nKeep in mind that over-dilution of profits via an increasing pool of investor tokens is tackled: tokens are to be spent on goodies, thus reducing the total supply.\n\n\n(1) Investors will be able to purchase Heroes, upgrade them and eventually sell them for ETH to other players, or… use them! Unlike many crypto-collectible nonsense items, these have real uses. \n(2) You can make an order for a custom-designed character and have your very own Avatar in the game. \n(3) More! And more to be added along the way, the game is designed to be evolving!\n\nIt’s really up to you to decide. Alternatively, you could also place your tokens for sale on EtherDelta or other exchanges.\n\n\n# Sign me up! How do we get tokens?\nPlayers/investors will be able to acquire tokens via the following actions:\n\n1) Tokens will be distributed via gaming activity on the platform. For instance, you get some amount of tokens for each ETH you spend in the game, even if you get that ETH sent back to you in a minute. \n \n2) A secret mechanism which we will hold in suspense for just a while longer (arguably the most important channel of token acquisition!!!). By the game design, players will not be able to access it fast.\n \n3) Buying tokens on EtherDelta and other exchanges. \n \n4) Get some now while we are still running Airdrop and bounty campaigns!\n \n5) By buying cool stuff in our Pre-Sale — you get 100 TOKENS per 1 ETH spent as a bonus.
