| title | Internet of Things |
| body | Where is IoT going? Internet of Things (IoT) is a collective name for all devices with an internet connection. You can think of a phone, television, coffee maker, washing machine, curtains, work equipment and much more. It's a huge network of connected 'things'. One thing can be a master with an implanted heart monitor, a lion with an identification chip and a car with a built-in tire pressure gauge. In fact, it concerns all objects that have their own IP address and the power to send data over a network. The relationships within this network are between human-human, human-thing and thing-thing. The network will be bigger and bigger in the coming years. Most households have access to the Internet, the cost of such a connection is getting smaller, more and more devices get a wifi option, technology costs go down and smartphone penetration is getting higher. All of these developments cause the creation of the Internet of Things and its exponential growth. What is the added value of this IoT network? Collect and save data The internet in recent years was totally dependent on what people posted on it. All recorded audio and video files, written documents and created images are created by people themselves. The problem is that people are limited in time, attention and accuracy. As a result, we are not good at tracking data for everyday operations. It would therefore be useful if we had computers that could collect data themselves and know everything about topics / things. We could then register everything that could reduce waste, losses and costs in business. For example, we would know when parts should be replaced and when stock needs to be replenished. What is the impact? The new rule for the future is that everything that can be connected will be connected. All things that communicate with each other within the IoT network will provide many benefits. A private example of this is: Your alarm clock goes, it's time to get up! The alarm clock is connected to your coffee machine and the coffee is already ready when you have entered the kitchen. It is also hot because the heating has been completed one hour before the alarm has started. After the good breakfast you get in the car for the important business meeting. The car reads your calendar and directs the best route for you. Apparently, it is busy on the road and is delaying you. The car sends a message to the other party to indicate that you are fifteen minutes later due to the hustle and bustle on the road. A working example of this is: Every employee is carrying a device on the work floor, which keeps track of where and when you were most productive and share this information with the corporate network. This allows business processes to be flawlessly adjusted and productivity measured. If it is a break at 12.00, there is always plenty of coffee and tea. Indeed, the inventory keeps track of what stocks are and adds them if necessary. At 12.30 the break is over and the smart thermostat puts the heater slightly lower so that no unnecessary costs arise. On the workfloor, the radio has resumed itself and everyone can work with new energy! Obstacles of the IoT network The recently sketched examples show that Internet of Things can provide us with a lot of convenience. However, everything is not going on rolls and we are running against obstacles. An important obstacle is security. When there are many devices connected to each other, it is extremely important that the shared information is safe. It may not be that a hacker can access the entire corporate network via the coffee machine. The second obstacle is privacy. Because all devices communicate with each other, there is a lot of privacy sensitive information in the network. An hacker can learn everything from when you get up to what appointments you have today. Ideal for burglars when they know that no one is home from 12:00 to 13:00. A third obstacle is data sharing. The mutual communication of devices causes an increase in data to be stored. Companies must find a way in which they can manage this increase in data. Here comes blockchain What is blockchain? Blockchain is a distributed database that is constantly adding new data. Only data can be recorded, not deleted. Distributed means not having a computer across the database. Each participating computer has a copy of the database. When someone wants to enter a transaction in the database, all participants within the network will have to validate them. They do this by applying an algorithm. An x number of transactions will be bundled and will be included in a block. This block is sent to each participant in the network and included in the blockchain after validation. What solution does it offer? The centralized security of companies will not be upset by the expansion of the IoT network and its increase in data. The blockchain and the combination of cryptographic processes provide a good alternative. Blockchain is built for decentralized control and has better scalability than current centralized companies. It can therefore be used to map billions of connected devices and manage the mutual communication with the subsequent data increase. It provides a resilient ecosystem on which the devices can run. The cryptographic algorithms used by the blockchain provide more privacy of the data. The blockchain ensures that data is legitimate, and the process that introduces new data is well-defined. The blockchain is protected against hackers because the stored information is not in a location. It is decentralized and the information is stored in many different locations. The interconnection within the network extends between many different points, which means that man-in-the-middle attacks can not be executed. Because blockchain works decentralized and everyone contributes to its safety and operation, without the intervention of a third party, the blockchain is a good solution to IoT's challenges. It is therefore no surprise that companies with IoT technologies are the first blockchain adopters. The block chain, like any Bitcointransactions, can validate and store all communication between IoT devices. This allows the IoT devices network to operate autonomously without the need for a third party. Smart contracts can then be used to make the IoT devices match and act accordingly. Blockchain will play an important role in the security of the IOT network, network trust, cost reduction and acceleration of transactions. In the end, we do not have Internet or Things but Blockchain or Things. |

| title | My first marathon |
| body | My first marathon. This weekend it was the NN marathon Rotterdam 2016. April 10, 2016 had been red in the agenda for a couple of months. What ever started like a 10 km to fit in my wedding suit about 3 years ago (which was also good and good at the time) this weekend reached a preliminary height with a marathon running. A dream that slowly became a reality. The road was a nice road. Started with the 10 km and then 3 times a half marathon in the past 3 years. Ever less, I was fooled to walk so far. People got more respect for it and eventually I also felt myself more and more a real runner. Enjoy what you are doing and talk with passion. In January 2016 the final decision came. After spending a month every month in December in connection with the annual worldwide Marcothon, this idiot seemed a good idea to train a marathon within 3 months. Every idiot can finally walk only a special marathon. These 3 months were a matter of a lot of training, thinking about your own schedule and training using examples with just 10-04-2016 in your mind. Between a small backstroke through a knee injury. This woke up the doubt but fortunately it did not get fatal for that one purpose. The home front also slowly got the fuss of having new dishes in the kitchen and in the last few weeks it was nothing else. Fortunately, they did not mind and also did not care about them and they supported me with everything. Sprint with Dafne At 09-04-2016 it was finally as far as I could get my starting number. Same the atmosphere already in Rotterdam. Together with the woman on the go and just enjoy all that's going to happen. Just take a sprint with Dafne Schippers, a new shirt shopping and a bandana and I'm ready for the marathon. Finding myself on the Wall of Fame After eating all the pizzas after the whole week, after the Expo there is time for pancakes and then on time to bed, because tomorrow 10-04-2016 is so far! I can walk my first marathon! It also feels really like being. Throughout the week I only want to walk but just keep in mind that small circles. I also hope to be losing the feeling of a knot in my stomach. It will be the healthy tension or nerves. Fortunately, I'm not the only one with that feeling, my wife likes to be exciting too. After the Expo there was another surprise in the mailbox a package of roses and a poppy on a map of female love. You're fine, knowing that she supports you. Before the start 10-04-2016 it's finally over. At 6:30 am, the alarm clock allows me to have a good time for breakfast and a cup of coffee. At breakfast another gift of woman's love. A sweatband with a beautiful text from her and the little man on it. After that it is about half past nine to Rotterdam. At the station you already notice that something is happening. So many people all share the same goal, walk a marathon. Thousands will do the same as you. Only the feeling when you see all those people is not to be described, it promises to be a beautiful day, the sun is already shining. Time to go to the starting box. Fortunately, my waterback bag just starts the day before 10:00 am Lee Towers. You'll never walk alone. Everybody sings along. You feel the tension in the air and you know the climax will come if you finally leave. So beautiful to meet with and you are sure it's special. At 10:30, your start-up box can finally start. I decided to walk calmly and not let me go by anyone you pass in the beginning. Later I will resist them and wake them up. Steady is the motto. I know this quite well and the first kilometers fly by. At 7 kilometers, just a stop, the nerves need to be unloaded. As a happy man, you're happy with a tree. Prepared for road I also use the drinking stations every 5 km after a recommendation on a running forum. A gell, a cup of water and a sports drink. Working at a quiet pace. At the sponges I cool my head and face well, because the temperature is still good today. After the first 10 km, I start to see the first hikers and occasionally catch some people. It's going well and before I know, I'm almost back at the Erasmus bridge. The second time seems to be a lot heavier than the first time, but I know that right after that, my wife and child will be along the park. A look at me sweatband helps me to make sure that my eye light becomes moist. After about 29 km, I see them have a nice moment to stop for a minute and work in a banana and hug for some new energy. Time for a banana Then enter the last part of the marathon. The part that is feared by quite a few runners beforehand. The beaky forest. It matters to me but after about 36 km it's getting tough. Trained up to 32 km in training, and even though I'm getting a bit quieter, I start to notice. But yes you end up having a marathon so it's not crazy either. At the drinking station there took a while and the legs stretched slightly to get the stress off. Fortunately, there is a video message from my wife and child on the big screen that brings about new energy. The crowd is now getting bigger and you know giving up now is no longer an option. Even though the pace is lower and the legs are heavier you now have 5 of the 6 blocks of 7 km so you can do this. Finally, it is also a mental thing about the marathon. Just before the finish At 39 km, I walk a little bit. The legs just do not want to eat so hard so eat and drink at the drinking station. The water bag I have with me also does good service between this and again. After that another 3 km and a little bit. Walking is no longer an option with all those enthusiastic people along the route. The rows grow thicker and anyone who walks is encouraged to run by. So for me, this is no longer an option. New energy is coming into the body and I'm still looking forward to pushing a kind of end-print that looked very elegant. In my mind, anyway. Then, just before the finish, I see my support, and again, Mega prides proudly along the side of the road, and I know I'm just going to do it. I'm going to run out of my first marathon. The marathon where the goal was out. Eventually I arrive at 4:47 pm and a few seconds over the finish. I just did a marathon. Woehoe !!! After all, a proud woman walks to meet me for a kiss and a hug. Oh that feels just as well. After a while, squeeze into a sunbathing bench and let the feet slip and start a recovery shake. Allow me to work quietly for me. What was it beautiful? Pure enjoy all those people and music along the route. And of course all other runners around you. The big question of course I would do again. At the moment, maybe, maybe, my body is thinking about the day after the marathon. It was on 10-04-2016. |

"body": "My first marathon.\nThis weekend it was the NN marathon Rotterdam 2016. April 10, 2016 had been red in the agenda for a couple of months.\nWhat ever started like a 10 km to fit in my wedding suit about 3 years ago (which was also good and good at the time) this weekend reached a preliminary height with a marathon running. A dream that slowly became a reality. The road was a nice road. Started with the 10 km and then 3 times a half marathon in the past 3 years. Ever less, I was fooled to walk so far. People got more respect for it and eventually I also felt myself more and more a real runner. Enjoy what you are doing and talk with passion.\n\n\nIn January 2016 the final decision came. After spending a month every month in December in connection with the annual worldwide Marcothon, this idiot seemed a good idea to train a marathon within 3 months.\nEvery idiot can finally walk only a special marathon. These 3 months were a matter of a lot of training, thinking about your own schedule and training using examples with just 10-04-2016 in your mind. Between a small backstroke through a knee injury. This woke up the doubt but fortunately it did not get fatal for that one purpose.\nThe home front also slowly got the fuss of having new dishes in the kitchen and in the last few weeks it was nothing else. Fortunately, they did not mind and also did not care about them and they supported me with everything.\n\n\n\nSprint with Dafne\nAt 09-04-2016 it was finally as far as I could get my starting number. Same the atmosphere already in Rotterdam. Together with the woman on the go and just enjoy all that's going to happen. Just take a sprint with Dafne Schippers, a new shirt shopping and a bandana and I'm ready for the marathon.\n\n\nFinding myself on the Wall of Fame\nAfter eating all the pizzas after the whole week, after the Expo there is time for pancakes and then on time to bed, because tomorrow 10-04-2016 is so far! I can walk my first marathon! It also feels really like being. Throughout the week I only want to walk but just keep in mind that small circles. I also hope to be losing the feeling of a knot in my stomach. It will be the healthy tension or nerves. Fortunately, I'm not the only one with that feeling, my wife likes to be exciting too.\nAfter the Expo there was another surprise in the mailbox a package of roses and a poppy on a map of female love. You're fine, knowing that she supports you.\n\n\n\nBefore the start\n10-04-2016 it's finally over. So beautiful to meet with and you are sure it's special.\nAt 10:30, your start-up box can finally start. I decided to walk calmly and not let me go by anyone you pass in the beginning. Later I will resist them and wake them up. Steady is the motto.\nI know this quite well and the first kilometers fly by. At 7 kilometers, just a stop, the nerves need to be unloaded. As a happy man, you're happy with a tree.\n\n\n\nPrepared for road\nI also use the drinking stations every 5 km after a recommendation on a running forum. A gell, a cup of water and a sports drink. Working at a quiet pace. At the sponges I cool my head and face well, because the temperature is still good today.\nAfter the first 10 km, I start to see the first hikers and occasionally catch some people. It's going well and before I know, I'm almost back at the Erasmus bridge. The second time seems to be a lot heavier than the first time, but I know that right after that, my wife and child will be along the park. A look at me sweatband helps me to make sure that my eye light becomes moist. | title | Why bitcoin have just begun. |
| body | This graph perfectly illustrates why I think bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency have just begun NET ... The world goes digital, almost everyone is online now and has a smartphone, we order pizza on the toilet, chat free for free with people anywhere in the world and put all data online. Recognizing that the internet is still young (on January 1, 1983, ARPANET switched from NCP to TCP / IP as a network protocol and thus the birth of the Internet in its current technical form was a fact) but now the web has not yet 40 years, the whole world changes. This is the hotel sector, taxi world, social media, the press, navigation and so on ... Understand now that Blockchain (Bitcoin's underlying technology) technology is at least as revolutionary as the Internet and that Blockchain will change virtually any financial and data sector on earth: - banks - accounts - Private data storage - Notaries - medical data - social media - micro transactions - to vote - remittances - investing - digital gold - online privacy This revolution has just begun, companies and investments are running, projects and concepts are only plans (whitepaper), either beta and not convincing. But this will not be the case anymore, and the adoption of these new Blockchain based products will be very fast. Just like the first online video services (these were expensive and slow) that were laughed out as useless, Bitcoin and Blockchain are now being fired by many media and experts as a hype, slow and unimportant. This cried creators of: digital cameras, newspapers, television stations, fax machine manufacturers, hotel chains, publishers and many others a few years ago ... Now they are either bankrupt or busy to conquer their spot on the internet. And have companies like: Google, Facebook, Twitter, Uber, Netflix and the rest and lead that is virtually unbroken. Technological revolutions always start slowly, and with major setbacks, but if a structural reversal point has been reached, growth can not be stopped immediately. I think crypto and Bitcoin are on this point, the possibilities offered by Blockchain will be huge, and the price will surely show it. |
