| body | Hello everybody! We have been working hard on building partnerships and strengthening our [Embermine](www.embermine.com) network, so I think it is time to post an update that will fully encapsulate our endeavors as of late, including upcoming snapshots for airdrops, our confirmed partnerships, hints towards future partnerships, and the state of things currently. So with that, let’s start with the airdrops! By Wednesday, February 14th, we at Embermine will be working tirelessly to ensure that everyone has the MBRS and other ecosystem tokens that they deserve and earned from giveaways, contests, and other agreements that have not been completed. We understand that there were considerable issues with many holders because of problems with both Cryptopia and EtherDelta holding their funds or by preventing the withdrawal of the tokens in time for the snapshots we took on January 11th. Additionally, the AURA network has grown significantly during that time and many people have asked for another chance at the snapshots. So what we are about to propose will make more sense once you read through this post, about what else is in store, but our solution is that we retake the snapshots. ALL of them. At the same time. But, never fear!! We will not dispose of the old snapshots, we will use those too. We will give each address the benefit of the doubt and use the HIGHEST total from either snapshot to determine the amount of each token that you will receive. Yes, we understand that means that some people will get tokens that they "did not earn" depending upon your perspective. But seeing as we are giving away a significant amount of tokens over the next couple of weeks to the Embermine and Autonio Community, we hope that some of you will forgive this. We should also mention that the token distribution ratios have been updated to reflect the proper final distribution totals and network size. All of which will be in favor of the you, the holders. --- So, the idea is that on Wednesday, February 14th, at 12:00 CST (18:00 UTC), the maximum number of possible users for MBRS will be realized and all of them will be captured on the snapshot of the MBRS holders at that time. Below is information on how to be included in the snapshots and how to partake in the upcoming airdrops: FIRST AND FOREMOST!!! To be eligible for the airdrop, you must hold all tokens in an ERC-20 compatible wallet. The airdropped token will be dropped into whichever ERC-20 compatible wallet address that is included in the snapshot. Be absolutely certain that the wallet that we send them to is one in which you control the private keys to, as in NOT in an exchange wallet (Etherdelta, Cryptopia, IDEX, etc...) as those tokens may be lost forever. we cannot stress this point enough. It seems that no matter how many times we tell people this bit of information, we end up sending a negligible amount of tokens to an exchange and people come crying about not receiving their tokens. If this happens, we will try and help out where we can, but to be honest, it will be our lowest priority since we have plenty of other more important things to tend to. Additionally, DO NOT wait until the last minute to transfer your tokens to your personal wallet, and also do not try to move the tokens out at 12:01 pm (PLEASE!) because those extra two or three minutes should not make any difference if it means that you may miss out on the airdrops entirely. Now that the disclaimer is out of the way… On to the actual airdrop information. NOTE: The following information is only in regard to Embermine/MBRS holders, specifically. The Autonio (NIO) and AuroraDAO (AURA) holder distributions will be described further below. The tokens that we will be dropping, are as follows: AURA (AuroraDao/IDEX), COBU (CoinBug), AKYU (Akyumen Technologies), and the Year One “MBRS Only” token. We understand that there isn’t much information available about COBU or AKYU currently... However, we will include some information regarding these tokens in due time, as it becomes available. Some info about AKYU is included in this post, though. 1. AuroraDAO (AURA) Distribution: Due to some changes in the original anticipated supply and size of the AURA community and tokens, we have updated the ratio that will be dropped on everyone for all tokens to better reflect the ratios between each network and maximize all of the drops for all users. Before we required a minimum of 1,000 tokens held, and that led to some people partitioning into 1,000 unit addresses. This showed us that people, regardless of what you do, will always angle for advantage if they can. Given the fact that we are going to use the other snapshots to compare information, and give the benefit to the highest total at each address, I figure that those who pushed 1,000 tokens into a bunch of addresses either have not moved them, continue to use them, or they are gone entirely, so we have changed the AURA tokens ratio, in which we always round down: •MBRS 100:1 AURA •TOV 200:1 AURA •SLIP 200:1 AURA •IDEA 200:1 AURA •KNOW 400:1 AURA •DOM 10,000:1 AURA So if you have 54,132 MBRS you will receive 541 AURA tokens. If you have 213,456 KNOW tokens, you will receive 533 AURA tokens. If you have 4,234,094 DOM you will receive 423 AURA tokens. *The delivery of all AURA tokens to MBRS and all related ecosystem token holders will begin immediately after the snapshots are completed. 2. CoinBug (COBU) Distribution: The COBU drop will happen using the same snapshots as the AURA tokens and using the same methodology and timing but with these ratios… Remember, amounts delivered will always be rounded down to the nearest whole number: •MBRS: 1:1 COBU •TOV: 2:1 COBU •SLIP: 2:1 COBU •IDEA 2:1 COBU •KNOW 4:1 COBU •DOM 100:1 COBU So if you have 1,237,452 MBRS you will receive 1,237,452 COBU tokens If you have 1,623,400 KNOW tokens you will receive 405,850 COBU The delivery of COBU will commence immediately after the AURA airdrop is completed. 3. Akyumen Technologies (AKYU) Distribution: AKYU will be dropped to MBRS holders using the same snapshot as AURA and COBU. The AKYU drops will occur along with the AURA and COBU drops and ONLY to MBRS holders at a ratio of 20:1. A total of 2.5 million AKYU will be distributed. Again, due to the properties involved in zero decimal tokens, the amount distributed will be reflected by rounding down. 4. The “MBRS Only” Distribution: We took a snapshot on December 31st, of all current MBRS holders. This was so we could get a picture of all “Year One” Embermine supporters. The “MBRS Only” token that you will receive is your 1 free MBRS token that can be used to burn for your seat license when the Embermine Platform is built and operating. It is our reward to you for being an early adopter. This token will also have some added benefits that will be revealed at a later date. This “MBRS Only” token will be completed on Wednesday before the snapshot and airdrop. So… All of the above takes care of the Embermine/MBRS airdrop distributions. Next up is in regard to Autonio/NIO and AuroraDAO/AURA holders. The end result of all of these drops is that our collective networks are going to be growing. Once the drops to our Embermine ecosystem networks are finished, we will be taking a snapshot of the AURA and NIO holders. This snapshot will occur on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 at 12:00 CST//18:00 UTC. Immediately after this snapshot, we will conduct the airdrops of the following tokens to the Autonio and AuroraDAO networks, as follows: 1. Autonio (NIO) holders will receive: •AURA 1:1000 NIO •COBU 1:1 NIO •AKYU 2:1000 NIO 2. AuroraDAO (AURA) holders will receive: •MBRS 1:1000 AURA •TOV 2:1000 AURA •IDEA 2:1000 AURA •SLIP 2:1000 AURA •KNOW 4:1000 AURA •DOM 100:1000 AURA •COBU 2:1000 AURA •AKYU 2:1000 AURA These distributions will begin immediately after the snapshot has been taken and will follow the same guidelines and requirements of all of the other token drops. We realize that these are not HUGE drops, but they will help bring about some more people into our networks, and seeing as our networks will already be mingled at that point, it will give you MBRS holders a nice little bonus. --- This completes the “Snapshot and Airdrop” portion of this post. Now, we can move onto the exciting partnerships that we have been finalizing over the past couple of weeks! More details about these and additional partnerships will be included in a future post. --- SO!! Let’s begin with one of the biggest developments we have been working toward… [Akyumen Technologies](https://www.akyumen.com): Our own dedicated hardware platform We are proud to announce that we at Embermine, Inc. have reached an agreement of terms on a royalty-free software license agreement with an innovative mobile platform. After several years of development and overcoming a slew of individual technological challenges, [Akyumen's Hawk](https://www.akyumen.com/default-item/hawk/) is finally ready for manufacture and distribution. There are several unique pieces to this mobile technology that makes it not only amazing but also uniquely suited to host the Embermine Platform, along with each user's ‘Personal Data Chain’ or PDC, which is the means by which individuals can maintain and access your own data relative to the Techne Distributed Ledger. More details regarding PDCs and Techne coming in a future post. Here are just some of the features the Akyumen Hawk has, including what is to be expected once the Embermine Platform is implemented: 1) Projector: The most apparent and obvious element of this piece of technology that is different on this phone, is the embedded 35 Lumen Projector that completely changes the game when it comes to sharing and showing information or content on your phone. No more crowding around a small screen. Instead, you will be able to project a high-definition image up to 100" wide onto any surface. I have HELD this tech in my hands myself and have used it myself. The tech in this phone is next level stuff... No heat, pixelization, slowdown, or interference. 2) Dedicated Encrypted Storage: The unit has a native dual-boot capability and separate dedicated storage areas to keep your PDC and your standard phone systems in separate encrypted areas for added security. 3) Android-based: The Akyumen Hawk is Android-based for ultimate development flexibility. 4) Secure Hardware Wallet: The Akyumen Hawk, upon the release of the Embermine Platform built into it, will also function as a secure hardware wallet, like a Ledger Nano S or Trezor, with native compatibility with all Embermine ecosystem tokens, as well as balance query, P2P secure transfers (utilizing DomainToken), and more. 5) Native Embermine Integration: All of Embermine's products, apps, and tokens will operate natively on the phone. For example, DomainToken can be used in its natural form... Enabling direct and secure connectivity to all of your data, communication, financial, & social network channels. Additionally, with DomainToken, one can easily switch "Entities" while using the phone. Enabling it to be the “Nexus” of all of your business and networking channels. This level of integration is only possible because of the unique features of the phone and their decision to build their phone to suit our unique requirements. 6) Free phones? That is right. Akyumen is launching their own token, AKYU. One token is required to "register" your phone to the network. But Akyumen hardware can only be purchased with AKYU tokens. And you can earn AKYU tokens simply by conducting various activities and using your phone as you normally would. The rate earned, on average, over 2 years would be enough to upgrade to the newest version of their phone. The amount of AKYU necessary to receive the phone is still being finalized, but our current estimates are in the 500-700 AKYU per phone, the final amount will be announced sometime in the next couple of weeks once the details are finalized. Many people, after our AKYU airdrop to the MBRS, NIO, and AURA networks, should have enough to get their first Akyumen Hawk phone for free… We are counting on this as the way that everyone will be able to get used to using the phone and to stress test the hardware long before the system itself is fully on the platform. All updates for Embermine and its associated applications will happen as they are released. 7) Content Networks: A deal is currently being finalized to bring various content networks to the phone natively. The addition of the projector makes movies and other video events a group event and a snap to do. QUICK NOTE: We should openly address a couple of things, for transparency's sake: 1) This is a software license for Akyumen Technologies to have full access to our technology and us, theirs, for testing and development purposes. This does not mean that it is dedicated to ONLY that platform. 2) We will launch on all platforms simultaneously... Although the Hawk users will likely get most updates the fastest due to the system's integration with our product. 3) We are VERY aware of some of the "bad press" that exists out there about Aasim Saied, the CEO of Akyumen Technologies. In fact, the only reason why we have not announced this arrangement any sooner than now was to allow a full due-diligence on the technology and these "claims" which we have concluded is from a former disgruntled employee, and others, trying to discredit their tech. But it is an amazing thing to hold something in your hands that actually works, and then see your own technician rip the demo phone apart and actually look at the chipset and the unique nanotech involved to make it work. There is so much more to tell in regard to this exciting partnership, including their “Phablet” and “Holophone” products, but this will be discussed more in the coming weeks. Much of the website and the other content is still being prepared with the latest information, as it has been a project that has been in development for several years. There is going to be a small beta release (without the Embermine Platform integrated) this coming April, and a worldwide release (without the full Embermine Platform) on or around July 1st! This leads us to a rough roadmap of what to expect from us at Embermine through the Fall of 2018. Now keep in mind that this is not the FULL exhaustive timeline, but the one that we will offer for the time being. We will provide more details as we move along... But for now, here is the current development/release timeline for Embermine: February 12th: Akyumen (AKYU) token release March 1st, 2018: Full-scale development begins on our Techne Blockchain, the Embermine Platform, and the beginnings of Akyumen integration of our platform for their phone June 7th - 10th: The First Annual ‘Embermine Users Conference’ to be held in Lincoln, NE (more on this in a future post) July 1, 2018: Worldwide launch and release of the Akyumen Hawk without the Embermine Platform August 1st, 2018: Target release of the Embermine Platform beta and test-net for Techne. Initial integration with Hawk and basic functionality completed October 15th, 2018: Target release of Embermine Platform MVP and Techne Main-net; Along with the full integration inside of the Akyumen Hawk phone --- Continuing with partnerships, another big one that we are excited about is the further involvement of [Lampix (PIX)](https://www.lampix.co/#/device). As many of you know, Embermine CEO, James Drake, has been working as an adviser for Lampix since the company's inception and has waited a long time for that to come full circle... Now, almost a year later, we are happy to say that we are negotiating the final terms with Lampix for them to work on developing their technology for the Akyumen Technologies line of products. This will enable elements such as interactivity with the Akyumen Hawk’s projector display for everything from games to presentations. The initial integration of Lampix will allow the Akyumen Hawk, when it is in its cradle, in presentation mode, to project a custom typing/mousing interface "behind" the phone, allowing the user to work and navigate on the phone without holding it, jarring the image, or interfere with the ongoing presentation. But the ultimate idea is that with a small, portable, foldable screen that can fit in your pocket, you now have a monitor that does not require power. The Lampix integration will allow you to make this screen a “touchscreen”... Along with a programmable type-and-mousing interface that is custom to the application being used on the phone. All of it running just off the power of the phone and its power source. Another upcoming partnership: [Manatt Digital](https://www.manatt.com/Manatt-Digital) We have received, and intend to accept, an offer letter for representation from Manatt Digital, a law firm in Los Angeles. They will assist our lead counsel, Mike Echternacht, in the design, development, and execution of our ongoing relationships with various creative content developers, content providers, and of course, the creation and development of our smart contract engine, which is the heart of the Techne protocol. This is a huge thing for us because they have not only the experience, but also the connections throughout the areas of industry that we require to be not only competitive in this marketplace, but also to assist us in building relationships with the wide variety of organizations we will need to partner with in the future. We are wading into shark-infested waters and we need experienced shark wranglers. We will not need a bigger boat with these guys on our side! We are very excited about this relationship. And finally, we are at our final update for the time being. And this one is very exciting, as well, since it is aligned with the core concept behind the development of the Embermine platform… The establishment of our “Firestarter Initiative” in conjunction with [‘The Art of Elysium’](http://www.theartofelysium.org/)! During our attendance of the Sundance Film Festival a couple of weeks ago, we sponsored the ‘ChefDance’ dinner in support of ‘The Art of Elysium’, and philanthropy project out of Los Angeles, CA. Their mission is simple: "We believe in using art as a catalyst for social change. Our “full circle” approach engages emerging artists in inspiring acts of service that forge opportunities for them to share their creativity in diverse and meaningful ways with individuals of need. We support and acknowledge our volunteer artists by providing platforms to showcase their art within the community.” The synergy between the projects is not only obvious, but also important. Not only will we be involved in helping them use the Embermine Platform to manage and empower their mission, but we have also provided the seed funds for what we hope will be the single largest endowment for the arts and creativity ever created. The “Firestarter Initiative” is the philanthropic arm of Embermine, Inc., engaged in helping use the power of creativity to engage in everything from projects like ‘The Art of Elysium’ to urban revitalization projects, like the ones we are currently evaluating in Lincoln, NE, Minneapolis, MN, and Detroit, MI. Our first Firestarter Grant has been given to ‘The Art of Elysium’: •2,000,000 MBRS •4,000,000 TOV •4,000,000 SLIP These were funds that we were able to secure through a combination of our partners, top holders, and most of all, Ryan Colby of TokenFest, the original founder of DomainToken. Those tokens will also benefit from the token drops that will happen to those systems, ensuring growth and funding for many years to come. Additionally, we have worked out an agreement with the amazing [Sanyika Street](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVfP3vfLpsQsvu7U9Qzji1g) to be the "voice" of the Embermine project. He has agreed to use his "If You Are an Artist" piece for introducing the world to Embermine and our projects, especially for ‘The Art of Elysium’. Here is a live cut of his ["If You Are an Artist"](https://youtu.be/sWz-0ckXgow?t=464) piece that he performed at Sundance. So there you have it, folks! All of us have been working so hard collectively for the past month to bring you all of this. It was hard to keep most of this under our hats until we had the time to properly vet or check out information and much of what was discussed here is literally in its beginning stages... But they bode well for us long term as we continue to work toward defining and developing all of these elements. Now we can speak directly to the efforts that we are making on all levels of the project. From the hardware to the software, and to all of the content in between. We are all extremely excited about these partnerships and relationships that we are developing and we cannot wait until we can dive directly into all of the development angles we are taking. From all of this, we can only hope that you take away how hard we have been working towards our goals and how much sacrifice has already gone into this project as a team. This past month has been a real challenge… Taxing both physically and mentally, but these challenges are the crucible from which we are forging something truly special. In the end, though, it is all of you who, the community, who really deserve the praise. A little over a year ago, when James Drake and Garrison Breckenridge started this company, they had big dreams and goals for the company... But they never imagined that there would be updates like this. This project is not about the pursuit of wealth or to attract a cult of personality, but rather to help people not only find each other but themselves, inside their creative opportunities. We have an amazing community of users here, and the amazing thing is that we are only just now getting started. I cannot wait to see what 2018 will truly bring. We love and thank each and every single one of you. So, as always, my fellow Emberminers… Carry The Fire!! "body": "\nHello everybody! So with that, let’s start with the airdrops!\n\nBy Wednesday, February 14th, we at Embermine will be working tirelessly to ensure that everyone has the MBRS and other ecosystem tokens that they deserve and earned from giveaways, contests, and other agreements that have not been completed.\n\nWe understand that there were considerable issues with many holders because of problems with both Cryptopia and EtherDelta holding their funds or by preventing the withdrawal of the tokens in time for the snapshots we took on January 11th. \nYes, we understand that means that some people will get tokens that they \"did not earn\" depending upon your perspective. But seeing as we are giving away a significant amount of tokens over the next couple of weeks to the Embermine and Autonio Community, we hope that some of you will forgive this. \nWe should also mention that the token distribution ratios have been updated to reflect the proper final distribution totals and network size. All of which will be in favor of the you, the holders.\n\n---\n\nSo, the idea is that on Wednesday, February 14th, at 12:00 CST (18:00 UTC), the maximum number of possible users for MBRS will be realized and all of them will be captured on the snapshot of the MBRS holders at that time. Below is information on how to be included in the snapshots and how to partake in the upcoming airdrops:\n\nFIRST AND FOREMOST!!!\nTo be eligible for the airdrop, you must hold all tokens in an ERC-20 compatible wallet. Additionally, DO NOT wait until the last minute to transfer your tokens to your personal wallet, and also do not try to move the tokens out at 12:01 pm (PLEASE!) because those extra two or three minutes should not make any difference if it means that you may miss out on the airdrops entirely.\n\nNow that the disclaimer is out of the way… On to the actual airdrop information.\n\nNOTE: The following information is only in regard to Embermine/MBRS holders, specifically. The Autonio (NIO) and AuroraDAO (AURA) holder distributions will be described further below.\n\nThe tokens that we will be dropping, are as follows: AURA (AuroraDao/IDEX), COBU (CoinBug), AKYU (Akyumen Technologies), and the Year One “MBRS Only” token. We understand that there isn’t much information available about COBU or AKYU currently... However, we will include some information regarding these tokens in due time, as it becomes available. Some info about AKYU is included in this post, though.\n\n1. AuroraDAO (AURA) Distribution:\nDue to some changes in the original anticipated supply and size of the AURA community and tokens, we have updated the ratio that will be dropped on everyone for all tokens to better reflect the ratios between each network and maximize all of the drops for all users. Before we required a minimum of 1,000 tokens held, and that led to some people partitioning into 1,000 unit addresses. This showed us that people, regardless of what you do, will always angle for advantage if they can. Given the fact that we are going to use the other snapshots to compare information, and give the benefit to the highest total at each address, I figure that those who pushed 1,000 tokens into a bunch of addresses either have not moved them, continue to use them, or they are gone entirely, so we have changed the AURA tokens ratio, in which we always round down:\n\n•MBRS 100:1 AURA\n•TOV 200:1 AURA\n•SLIP 200:1 AURA\n•IDEA 200:1 AURA\n•KNOW 400:1 AURA\n•DOM 10,000:1 AURA\n\nSo if you have 54,132 MBRS you will receive 541 AURA tokens.\nIf you have 213,456 KNOW tokens, you will receive 533 AURA tokens. \nIf you have 4,234,094 DOM you will receive 423 AURA tokens.\n*The delivery of all AURA tokens to MBRS and all related ecosystem token holders will begin immediately after the snapshots are completed.\n\n\n\n2. CoinBug (COBU) Distribution:\nThe COBU drop will happen using the same snapshots as the AURA tokens and using the same methodology and timing but with these ratios… Remember, amounts delivered will always be rounded down to the nearest whole number:\n\n•MBRS: 1:1 COBU\n•TOV: 2:1 COBU\n•SLIP: 2:1 COBU\n•IDEA 2:1 COBU\n•KNOW 4:1 COBU\n•DOM 100:1 COBU\n\nSo if you have 1,237,452 MBRS you will receive 1,237,452 COBU tokens\nIf you have 1,623,400 KNOW tokens you will receive 405,850 COBU\nThe delivery of COBU will commence immediately after the AURA airdrop is completed.\n\n3. Akyumen Technologies (AKYU) Distribution:\nAKYU will be dropped to MBRS holders using the same snapshot as AURA and COBU. The AKYU drops will occur along with the AURA and COBU drops and ONLY to MBRS holders at a ratio of 20:1. A total of 2.5 million AKYU will be distributed. Again, due to the properties involved in zero decimal tokens, the amount distributed will be reflected by rounding down.\n\n\n\n4. The “MBRS Only” Distribution:\nWe took a snapshot on December 31st, of all current MBRS holders. This “MBRS Only” token will be completed on Wednesday before the snapshot and airdrop.\n\n\n\nSo… All of the above takes care of the Embermine/MBRS airdrop distributions. Next up is in regard to Autonio/NIO and AuroraDAO/AURA holders. The end result of all of these drops is that our collective networks are going to be growing. Once the drops to our Embermine ecosystem networks are finished, we will be taking a snapshot of the AURA and NIO holders.\nThis snapshot will occur on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 at 12:00 CST//18:00 UTC.\nImmediately after this snapshot, we will conduct the airdrops of the following tokens to the Autonio and AuroraDAO networks, as follows:\n\n1. Autonio (NIO) holders will receive:\n•AURA 1:1000 NIO\n•COBU 1:1 NIO\n•AKYU 2:1000 NIO\n\n\n\n2. AuroraDAO (AURA) holders will receive:\n•MBRS 1:1000 AURA\n•TOV 2:1000 AURA\n•IDEA 2:1000 AURA\n•SLIP 2:1000 AURA\n•KNOW 4:1000 AURA\n•DOM 100:1000 AURA\n•COBU 2:1000 AURA \n•AKYU 2:1000 AURA\n\n\n\nThese distributions will begin immediately after the snapshot has been taken and will follow the same guidelines and requirements of all of the other token drops. We realize that these are not HUGE drops, but they will help bring about some more people into our networks, and seeing as our networks will already be mingled at that point, it will give you MBRS holders a nice little bonus.\n\n---\n\nThis completes the “Snapshot and Airdrop” portion of this post. Now, we can move onto the exciting partnerships that we have been finalizing over the past couple of weeks! More details about these and additional partnerships will be included in a future post.\n\n---\nSO!! Let’s begin with one of the biggest developments we have been working toward…\n\n[Akyumen Technologies](https://www.akyumen.com): Our own dedicated hardware platform\nWe are proud to announce that we at Embermine, Inc. have reached an agreement of terms on a royalty-free software license agreement with an innovative mobile platform.\n\n\nAfter several years of development and overcoming a slew of individual technological challenges, [Akyumen's Hawk](https://www.akyumen.com/default-item/hawk/) is finally ready for manufacture and distribution.\n\nThere are several unique pieces to this mobile technology that makes it not only amazing but also uniquely suited to host the Embermine Platform, along with each user's ‘Personal Data Chain’ or PDC, which is the means by which individuals can maintain and access your own data relative to the Techne Distributed Ledger. More details regarding PDCs and Techne coming in a future post.\n\nHere are just some of the features the Akyumen Hawk has, including what is to be expected once the Embermine Platform is implemented:\n1) Projector: The most apparent and obvious element of this piece of technology that is different on this phone, is the embedded 35 Lumen Projector that completely changes the game when it comes to sharing and showing information or content on your phone. No more crowding around a small screen. Instead, you will be able to project a high-definition image up to 100\" wide onto any surface. I have HELD this tech in my hands myself and have used it myself. The tech in this phone is next level stuff... No heat, pixelization, slowdown, or interference. \n2) Dedicated Encrypted Storage: The unit has a native dual-boot capability and separate dedicated storage areas to keep your PDC and your standard phone systems in separate encrypted areas for added security. \n3) Android-based: The Akyumen Hawk is Android-based for ultimate development flexibility. \n4) Secure Hardware Wallet: The Akyumen Hawk, upon the release of the Embermine Platform built into it, will also function as a secure hardware wallet, like a Ledger Nano S or Trezor, with native compatibility with all Embermine ecosystem tokens, as well as balance query, P2P secure transfers (utilizing DomainToken), and more. \n5) Native Embermine Integration: All of Embermine's products, apps, and tokens will operate natively on the phone.\nFor example, DomainToken can be used in its natural form... Enabling direct and secure connectivity to all of your data, communication, financial, & social network channels. Additionally, with DomainToken, one can easily switch \"Entities\" while using the phone. Enabling it to be the “Nexus” of all of your business and networking channels. This level of integration is only possible because of the unique features of the phone and their decision to build their phone to suit our unique requirements. \n6) Free phones? That is right. Akyumen is launching their own token, AKYU. One token is required to \"register\" your phone to the network. All updates for Embermine and its associated applications will happen as they are released.\n7) Content Networks: A deal is currently being finalized to bring various content networks to the phone natively. The addition of the projector makes movies and other video events a group event and a snap to do.\n\nQUICK NOTE: We should openly address a couple of things, for transparency's sake:\n1) This is a software license for Akyumen Technologies to have full access to our technology and us, theirs, for testing and development purposes. This does not mean that it is dedicated to ONLY that platform.\n2) We will launch on all platforms simultaneously... Although the Hawk users will likely get most updates the fastest due to the system's integration with our product.\n3) We are VERY aware of some of the \"bad press\" that exists out there about Aasim Saied, the CEO of Akyumen Technologies. In fact, the only reason why we have not announced this arrangement any sooner than now was to allow a full due-diligence on the technology and these \"claims\" which we have concluded is from a former disgruntled employee, and others, trying to discredit their tech. But it is an amazing thing to hold something in your hands that actually works, and then see your own technician rip the demo phone apart and actually look at the chipset and the unique nanotech involved to make it work.\n\nThere is so much more to tell in regard to this exciting partnership, including their “Phablet” and “Holophone” products, but this will be discussed more in the coming weeks. Much of the website and the other content is still being prepared with the latest information, as it has been a project that has been in development for several years. There is going to be a small beta release (without the Embermine Platform integrated) this coming April, and a worldwide release (without the full Embermine Platform) on or around July 1st!\n\n\n\nThis leads us to a rough roadmap of what to expect from us at Embermine through the Fall of 2018.\nNow keep in mind that this is not the FULL exhaustive timeline, but the one that we will offer for the time being. We will provide more details as we move along... But for now, here is the current development/release timeline for Embermine:\nFebruary 12th: Akyumen (AKYU) token release\nMarch 1st, 2018: Full-scale development begins on our Techne Blockchain, the Embermine Platform, and the beginnings of Akyumen integration of our platform for their phone\nJune 7th - 10th: The First Annual ‘Embermine Users Conference’ to be held in Lincoln, NE (more on this in a future post)\nJuly 1, 2018: Worldwide launch and release of the Akyumen Hawk without the Embermine Platform\nAugust 1st, 2018: Target release of the Embermine Platform beta and test-net for Techne. Initial integration with Hawk and basic functionality completed\nOctober 15th, 2018: Target release of Embermine Platform MVP and Techne Main-net; Along with the full integration inside of the Akyumen Hawk phone\n\n---\n\nContinuing with partnerships, another big one that we are excited about is the further involvement of [Lampix (PIX)](https://www.lampix.co/#/device).\n\nAs many of you know, Embermine CEO, James Drake, has been working as an adviser for Lampix since the company's inception and has waited a long time for that to come full circle... Now, almost a year later, we are happy to say that we are negotiating the final terms with Lampix for them to work on developing their technology for the Akyumen Technologies line of products. This will enable elements such as interactivity with the Akyumen Hawk’s projector display for everything from games to presentations. The initial integration of Lampix will allow the Akyumen Hawk, when it is in its cradle, in presentation mode, to project a custom typing/mousing interface \"behind\" the phone, allowing the user to work and navigate on the phone without holding it, jarring the image, or interfere with the ongoing presentation. All of it running just off the power of the phone and its power source.\n\n\n\nAnother upcoming partnership: [Manatt Digital](https://www.manatt.com/Manatt-Digital)\nWe have received, and intend to accept, an offer letter for representation from Manatt Digital, a law firm in Los Angeles. We are very excited about this relationship.\n\n\n\nAnd finally, we are at our final update for the time being. And this one is very exciting, as well, since it is aligned with the core concept behind the development of the Embermine platform… The establishment of our “Firestarter Initiative” in conjunction with [‘The Art of Elysium’](http://www.theartofelysium.org/)!\nDuring our attendance of the Sundance Film Festival a couple of weeks ago, we sponsored the ‘ChefDance’ dinner in support of ‘The Art of Elysium’, and philanthropy project out of Los Angeles, CA. Their mission is simple:\n\n\"We believe in using art as a catalyst for social change. Our “full circle” approach engages emerging artists in inspiring acts of service that forge opportunities for them to share their creativity in diverse and meaningful ways with individuals of need. We support and acknowledge our volunteer artists by providing platforms to showcase their art within the community.”\n\nThe synergy between the projects is not only obvious, but also important. Our first Firestarter Grant has been given to ‘The Art of Elysium’:\n\n•2,000,000 MBRS\n•4,000,000 TOV\n•4,000,000 SLIP\n\nThese were funds that we were able to secure through a combination of our partners, top holders, and most of all, Ryan Colby of TokenFest, the original founder of DomainToken. Those tokens will also benefit from the token drops that will happen to those systems, ensuring growth and funding for many years to come. Additionally, we have worked out an agreement with the amazing [Sanyika Street](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVfP3vfLpsQsvu7U9Qzji1g) to be the \"voice\" of the Embermine project. He has agreed to use his \"If You Are an Artist\" piece for introducing the world to Embermine and our projects, especially for ‘The Art of Elysium’. Here is a live cut of his [\"If You Are an Artist\"](https://youtu.be/sWz-0ckXgow?t=464) piece that he performed at Sundance.\n\n\n\nSo there you have it, folks!\n\nAll of us have been working so hard collectively for the past month to bring you all of this.
