From my perspective it is a term that refers to giving up something, be it one's own interests, pleasures or comforts in order to obtain benefits - goals or according to one's personal criteria more satisfying in the long run.\n\n\nI have developed in an environment where I have observed sacrifices everywhere, an example of this is my mom she has been mother and father at the same time is really difficult to raise two children without help from anyone,my mom I remember that she was so dedicated to take care of us and that we do not lack anything that she left aside her life as a woman, because she decided to be a mother before being a woman although perfectly can be both but it is not easy, I also remember that she stopped buying shoes,clothes or things for her because she preferred to cover our needs, I am so grateful for that those acts of love 🥹.\n\n\n\n\n![FB_IMG_1719511806691.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmeZ3FY4ZVSTgX1zdzdhiFi9Y6uMqVUzJWCGJ1sZp74fAq/FB_IMG_1719511806691.jpg)\n\n\nOn the other hand, and speaking from my personal experience, I have sacrificed effort, dedication but above all time in my university career, they have been very difficult years of sleepless nights, academic stress but all with the sole objective of becoming a social communication graduate, many believe that studying a career is easy but it is not, it involves hours without sleep, often involves choosing between eating breakfast or making copies among many other sacrifices.\n\nI believe that at some point in our lives we have all sacrificed something, but for whom do we really sacrifice? In a very particular way, I make sacrifices for myself, to better myself every day. However, I believe that the reason that drives me to make these sacrifices daily is my mother and my grandmother, since they have done so much for me, they are my main motivation to avoid obstacles and finally graduate with a degree in social communication, which is my goal for now.\n\n\nAnd finally, it is important to mention that personal sacrifices can be essential for our growth, individual development, achievement of goals, contribution to the well-being of others and search for deeper meaning in our actions. However, it is crucial to find a healthy balance between personal sacrifice and self-care, avoiding falling into abusive situations, it is also relevant to recognize that, while sacrifice can be beneficial, it is also necessary to prioritize our own well-being and avoid going to harmful extremes.
