| body | Happy New Year, didnt write for awhile, and got kick in the butt to do it from atomic habits audiobook. Here's what i thought i should do to write up on the few questions to think about: 1 sentence a day from a few questions. What happened today? (Daily journal) - Productive meeting at my partner & good friend's office. - Visited mum and had good food at her place - Start my walk again after skipping 1 day. Target at 5000 steps What am I grateful for today? (Gratitude journal) - Starting again and got reminded from atomic habit that we just need to do something super simple to start. What is my most important task today? (Productivity journal) - Guide my colleague on certain task that got it to work. How did I sleep last night? (Sleep journal) - So far been sleeping ok only, need to remember to turn off the light and sleep earlier. How do I feel today? (Mood journal) - Feeling defeated abit yesterday, as my health goals feels like going nowhere, but i still need to keep doing it and watch watch what i eat. |

| body | Skipped a day or two, but continuing again today. Main thing is getting in back to the game and not stay out of it too long. 3 Amazing things that happened today 1) Able to see my aunt who is not feeling very well, she is in another state 2) Figure out 1 of the tasks that i need to look at to speed up the checking (bulk domain name checking) 3) Spending more personal time with mum, and really appreciate life How could i have made it better 1) Could have woke up earlier to do some exercise 2) Walk more for today but still good 3) Follow up with a customer earlier so that things could have happened earlier. My thoughts: I need to be very well aware what is negative activity and what is positive activity. Endless scrolling on social media / youtube can make you in a crazy loop and not do anything, or just get distracted and not get anything done. Time flies so fast and things can just come and go in a blink of an eye. Start living life to make sure we live in the moment, and make sure we do what we suppose to do every single day to head towards your own goals. Really appreciate life and be thankful just to be alive. |

| body | Today is the 11th day of writing. Recharge your energy by changing your location and energy. I do the smallest smallest thing first only to get started. Today feels like a recharge day for myself 3 Amazing things that happened today 1) Had Free food today, appreciate people who love and think of me 2) Getting some good rest 3) Do different things today like playing my mobile game awhile, 4) Met with a interesting person via zoom networking session online How could i have made it better 1) Manage my food more, could have plan my eating 2) May have plan to go out instead but overall was good rest still 3) Practice and improve my elevator pitch and how to share more about myself when i am in a networking session. My thoughts: When we rest we make sure we rest, when we do work we make sure to do our best as well in it. Be the best in everything we do. |

| body | Today marks the 10th day of writing. Losing the energy, but i need to recharge myself somehow, and not doing it for the sake of doing it. 3 Amazing things that happened today 1) Very happy for my friend getting married. Good reflecting on my side as well and if its something that i want. 2) I'm happy to connect back with some old friends from the wedding. Always glad to see old friends. 3) The start of 48 hour conference https://aselxpenn.com/summit, really encourage for you all to go : https://aselxpenn.com/summit its digital and its free How could i have made it better 1) Some glitches on work, should have see the issue directly instead or waiting it last minute 2) Should control my food more, today seems to have over eaten 3) Should have logged in to all the respective accounts earlier to check the issue. My Thoughts: How interesting to see how people are connect to each other, like a friend to another friend, and all across the globe can be seen in this whole entire wedding. Never underestimate the power of networking and friendship. Appreciate people for who they are and love them for who they are and always be open to share and help others. |

| body | 9th Day, Today is election day, i think some people is upset, and some is excited to vote. Upsetting one is the one that feel they are forced to vote, but i guess everyone have a choice.. 3 Amazing things that happened today 1) Had a nice long walk in Kiara Park. Challenging, and finish the full circle in 40 minutes. Think will need to train second round 2) Explore a new prawn noodle place in TTDI, getting into habit to also keep trying new food 3) Workwise things are clearing out 1 by 1. How could i have made it better 1) Need to ensure that any work not covered then it needs to be monitored closer. Had a client mention that their corporate site is down. Should have look into it closer from day 1 2) Need to control the food i eat, today had too much carbs 3) Start planning out my sleeping bed, getting backache long term on my bed My Thoughts: Somehow the mood around is all in the election vibes. Need to get in the mood to do work by using music or environment. I think apply the same for long holidays as well. Watch my thoughts and also treat everything as projects even in helping a friend. |

| body | 8th Day, its nearing election, just 2 days more, think everyone is gearing up to election. Feels like a slow day, but manage to do my walk as well. 3 Amazing things that happened today 1) Hit my daily target of walking of 5000 steps and did the extra online exercise that i joined 2) Fasting on a longer period, seems like not so bad now 3) Good catch up with a client on his website and looking forward to wrap that up How could i have made it better 1) Meetings sometimes, can be so wasting of energy or resources, Need to plan out the meeting properly and agenda 2) Could plan my time better on the meeting and going out to work 3) Should try to avoid missing meetings that i set or being late to meetings. Plan this better My thoughts: We are what we think of. Sometimes its interesting to see how some people are so disconnected with people but same time there are people who are so connected. Whichever path we all take, most important we need to feel internally we are happy and moving towards the direction we want in life. For me, so far taking steps on daily things seems to help me out alot. And i want to keep doing it till i reach my goals and setting new ones to achieve more things in life. :) Enjoy and experience what we can and when we can. |

| body | 7th Day, and counting :D Today sent my aunt to the airport as she is going back home. 3 Amazing things that happened today 1) Did a sharing on a live session, always happy to share experiences and discuss progress 2) Did a walk with my friend today, always good to walk with someone 3) Did a prolonged fast today and only had my first meal after lunch (4pm) How could i have made it better 1) Should try my productivity music on Brain FM 2) Do more things and settle my proposal first (will settle by tomorow) 3) Travel earlier to send my aunt off My thoughts: Earlier i sort of made some uncomfortable settings. Basically, referred to a friend a contact, but the contact didn't go direct to my friend. I should have made the link better, and follow up on it. I think its important whatever we do on linking people up, make sure its complete on the full circle, also reflects our work when we link people up. Need to always remember that. |

| body | 6th Day, and another wonderful day. 3 Amazing things that happened today 1) Today went out to work and felt good. 2) Back to morning walk with my walking buddy 3) Got quite a few things done, and glad to take my aunt as well to a shop she wanted to go How could i have made it better 1) Discover i have a useful app that i bought and i didnt use to help me focus. Going to try it out tomorrow 2) Overate today. Will need to balance it up tomorrow to take a longer fast 3) Could plan the day better or my work better as i could have went for a event networking today. My thoughts: Every little things we do sometimes we don't see it matters. We need to always see beyond the repercussion of our actions and look ahead beyond our activity. Also today had a conversation with my aunt, sometimes, we have big plans but we just need to start somewhere before the big picture direction comes in. To change something we just need to keep doing it and work on that goal until we reach that destination. And never give up till we reach there. Find your collaborators as well, a single person can only do so much, but if everyone starts sharing resources, knowledge, experience and work together towards a common goals, i believe we all can achieve so much. |

| body | Today is the 5th day of writing. Feeling a bit down today, but its all good. 3 Amazing things that happened today 1) Still manage to hit my 5k walk, and had my personal training today with my personal trainer. 2) Another day of intermittent fasting 3) A few productive meetings on the project confirmation and direction, happy to be closing in on a good project How could i have made it better 1) The day didn't feel very productive. Should have just gone out to work 2) Have some time wasters today could have shorten it and allocate specific days and times for it. 3) Had some self talk on negativity, need to correct the thoughts and avoid this. This is starting of the down fall if i dont do anything about it. My thoughts: Deep inside, somehow i feel that i am not loved, but i know that is not true, i do have so many friends and families that i truly love them and support me as well. There are ups and downs as this is part of life, there is still major breakthrough i need to work on to make sure to build a better me for tomorrow. I'm just glad to keep this going and a place to put out all my thoughts in this place. For a better tomorrow! |

| body | 4th Day, Writing i think i am getting used to it. Keep it up to myself 3 Amazing things that happened today 1) Almost hit 10k steps, so far so good, need to keep it up on this 2) Manage to do intermittent fasting today, need to do more fasting 3) Start a journey on patching up with family member, just need to make sure to resolve issues and not hold back. How could i have made it better 1) Could have woken up earlier to jump up to walk, but just appreciate that i'm just maintaining the habit 2) Could spend more time to do some work at mum's place instead of lazing around 3) Need to be more mindful on the food selection or could end up pigging out too much food. My thoughts: Every day doesn't matter if its weekend or weekdays, we need to just be consistent and make sure we do our daily things. Need to move forward to do better planning and plan road map work, I think i work better with a more detail road map planned out then i can just follow the plan to move forward on it. Going to make sure i pick up detail road map and planning ahead this week. Happy Week Ahead everyone cheers |

| body | Today is the 3rd day, just want to keep going on. Although today is a bit tiring, but all together all is good. 3 Amazing things that happened today 1) Did more about 20k of steps today. I think today is the highest record so far. Feeling awesome about it 2) Went to celebrate a friend's birthday, always enjoy good food and good company 3) Learn to say no today. Sometimes its important to do this, and i need to keep learning to do this more if not i over burden myself in too many projects / appointments How could i have made it better 1) Felt distracted in the afternoon. Should be more focus and go to a environment to work together 2) I think i could made the day better, felt abit lazy as well through out the day 3) Could have cleaned up more on my system, going to do abit of cleaning further. My thoughts: Always remind myself to use the 2 minute rule. Whenever i don't feel like doing anything just tell myself that i will just do it for 2 minutes. The main idea is to get the system moving and doing it. So far i am happy to also see that i am doing my daily walks and stacking it with other things like mountain climber, push ups, and plank 40 seconds. Another challenge so far on my weight loss journey is that it seems that i need to watch my food even closer and eat healthy. Seems to always end up eating too much carbs. So lets reflect this next week and see the weight progress for next week. |

| body | Ok 2nd day of writing before i sleep. 3 Amazing things that happened today 1) Went for a comedy show. My friend did his first 30 minutes with other fellow comedians, it was so much fun and enjoy. Everyone should experience comedy and have some laugh in their live. Check out his site: https://asuraajan.com/ 2) Brought my parents, niece and aunt to have a great lunch at Envi Sky Dining. Good experience for them and myself 3) Woke up early on a weekday and did my walk, i think telling myself to wake up and just do something for 2 minutes works. Will monitor this. How could i have made it better 1) Should be selective on my meetings, sometimes i join meeting that feels like i should not be there 2) Be more efficient, seems like not so productive in the afternoon, need to plan ahead better 3) Reflect more today, i think i need to do more reflection and thinking back on my business more |

| body | Its been awhile since i actually share what i have been doing, and i want to make it into a habit to write again. Well not to say it was ever a habit before, now its more of a self improvement tool by writing. Here goes: 3 Amazing things that happened today 1) 5000 walk: so far i have been doing daily walks of minimum 5000 steps, and stacking other things with it. After my walk i will do also a small exercise as well (10 push ups, 20 mountain climbers and 40 seconds of plank. 2) Blessed to spend time with family and eating together. 3) Seems to be able to focus better today, monitoring this. Very small tasks works well with me and i want to keep doing this. How could i have made it better 1) I should have manage my YES and NO better today 2) Be more firm on my decisions, sometimes when we want something, dont put it as a questions, just ask for it. 3) Too specific time waking up seems to be abit challenging and then putting too many things to do in the morning seems to cloud the mind. Going to try out the next day: Just wake up and move for 2 minutes. Thats all, why i am doing this? Gratitude journal seems to get us to see the positive things in live and just being in the present or being in the moment. Just keep doing it. If you have any gratitude to share out, i want to hear it from you all. Lets connect with me on my facebook or my website: edwardboey.com Cheers |

"body": "Its been awhile since i actually share what i have been doing, and i want to make it into a habit to write again. Well not to say it was ever a habit before, now its more of a self improvement tool by writing. \n\nHere goes: \n\n3 Amazing things that happened today\n\n1) 5000 walk: so far i have been doing daily walks of minimum 5000 steps, and stacking other things with it. After my walk i will do also a small exercise as well (10 push ups, 20 mountain climbers and 40 seconds of plank. \n\n2) Blessed to spend time with family and eating together. \n\n3) Seems to be able to focus better today, monitoring this. Very small tasks works well with me and i want to keep doing this. \n\n\nHow could i have made it better\n\n1) I should have manage my YES and NO better today \n\n2) Be more firm on my decisions, sometimes when we want something, dont put it as a questions, just ask for it. \n\n3) Too specific time waking up seems to be abit challenging and then putting too many things to do in the morning seems to cloud the mind. Going to try out the next day: Just wake up and move for 2 minutes. \n\n\nThats all, why i am doing this? | body | Today would seem like a horrible day like most people. It was an interesting day today. To most people you will consider this as bad day or just not my day. But for me its really interesting. First off the day started by me going to meeting, then someone knocked me from behind, and i was feeling like what have happened ? Then after that because of the accident, I was late for the meeting with an important client. After that I took the car to the workshop and seems like they were charging abit more expensive, and had to do the trouble to go to another place to check the price. And last minute was asked to be a speak for the night, which i am totally unprepared or uncomfortable at speaking in front. Now for most people by now would have labeled today as a bad day or really sad day. But for me it is really fun. Let me reelaborate the sequence again. 1) Getting knocked in the car, i make the best out of it, first the person who knocked my car from behind is very attractive, and we exchanged cards and i could see theres potential in terms of able to service her company 2) Last minute selection as a speaker. Well for me, its a chance now for me to practice and due to my accident, i now have a story to tell. In fact during the accident, i was good, and not really too workedup on the accident. 3) Workshop comaprison., well due to this, as the person paying wants another workshop, and the discount to me, wasnt that much, but nevertheless now i understand some things on the back bumper of car, and found a good place to send my car too as well. "body": "Today would seem like a horrible day like most people.\n\n\n\nIt was an interesting day today. To most people you will consider this as bad day or just not my day. But for me its really interesting.\n\nFirst off the day started by me going to meeting, then someone knocked me from behind, and i was feeling like what have happened ? Then after that because of the accident, I was late for the meeting with an important client.\n\nAfter that I took the car to the workshop and seems like they were charging abit more expensive, and had to do the trouble to go to another place to check the price. \n\nAnd last minute was asked to be a speak for the night, which i am totally unprepared or uncomfortable at speaking in front. \n\nNow for most people by now would have labeled today as a bad day or really sad day. But for me it is really fun. Let me reelaborate the sequence again.\n\n1) Getting knocked in the car, i make the best out of it, first the person who knocked my car from behind is very attractive, and we exchanged cards and i could see theres potential in terms of able to service her company \n\n2) Last minute selection as a speaker. Well for me, its a chance now for me to practice and due to my accident, i now have a story to tell. In fact during the accident, i was good, and not really too workedup on the accident.\n\n3) Workshop comaprison., well due to this, as the person paying wants another workshop, and the discount to me, wasnt that much, but nevertheless now i understand some things on the back bumper of car, and found a good place to send my car too as well. \n\nSummary: its how we look at things that really makes us. We must ensure to always look of what to do next, and also just being truthful to ourself on what we really want to do in order to break this cycle.",

| body | Each and everyone of us have our story to tell. But the issue is, we dont know or always wonder if we should share it? Well definitely you should. The idea is that, to make sure our story can inspire others to do more things. We always think that we need to wait until we achieve things only we share our story, but its also important is when we are on our journey to whatever destination we are going, its always better to keep everyone updated and share your story of your journey. Its the JOURNEY that counts whereby how we do it, what we got involved and the details of the path we took. This main purpose is that we could inspire others to do more things or either to share to others so they dont make the same mistakes. As Humankind, all of us have our story to tell, and its all important to share it out so you can make more impact to the next generation and creating a more everlasting impact to others. So start sharing your JOURNEY to others today, and make sure you inspire more people to do more POSITIVE impact and CHANGE to the WORLD. Stay happy :D |

| body | If anyone of you are involved in any organization. Business network, Sociaty, NGO, whatever you are involved, if you dont realize it, there is always an INTERNAL ECONOMY. Now what the heck is that internal economy? Well i didnt know it earlier as well, but as i am involved in more and more organizations, i realize its the same everywhere. If you wish for your ogranization to prosper, ensure whatever we spend inside the organization it somehow will always flow back inside and helping each other to grow. I give you an example, lets say you run an NGO. That involves alot of business people supporting them. It will be good of course that everyone contributes to the NGO, but in order to really really prosper for the NGO, the people involve should also help each other by doing business with each other. Or even the NGO somehow organization networking sessions for them or some small indirect advertising for them, so they can reach out to more people about their business. And if their business improves, their contribution will be more for the NGO. Makes sense? Its basically running like a country, more contribution or money coming in, then the country will prosper more, if more spending on outside, the country will die. So same with all organizations. Same with if you are in a Church / Temple or any religious community, or business community or whatever community. Always remember theres always a internal economy. If everyone helps each other find back each other support and grow together, then the main cause of the organization will prosper. Thats my 2 cents, whats your thoughts on it? |

| body | I notice i was in the loop of just keep working and working and working, and that we get stuck in it. So lately we tried this team sharing sessions to share what we learn and also encourage each of us to share what we feel is wrong and how we can improve it further. So far the first sessions have been very positive. It gives us a training place for each of us to look out what we need to be learning and at the same time training ourselves so we learn how to share our learnings to others. Of course what we share should also be documented it, and thus a remember or reminder for us to keep remembering what we have done and learned together with the team. The other side effect that is positive in this is: a) Your team gets closer b) Offer a solution centric environment we all faced some issue c) Get to know each other personally d) Training to speak infront e) Training ourself to remember what we learn So give it a try, if you have a team or family maybe you can implement once a month on this team learning day. |

| body | For those who knows me, im not the type who is very confidence about my stuffs. Although its something i am good at, sometimes i still get nervous and im still horrible at speaking in front of a crowd. I still stammer, and not very smooth as well whenever i speak in front of anyone (as long as its a crowd), or i try to avoid talking to people, thats who i am. But i want to build myself up to be more confident, able to talk to more people and be very confident to talk in front of everyone. So far what i did is, i just put myself on the spot to DELIBERATELY practice and do it on it. What have i done to get myself involved in this? Well 1 thing is, just do what i can to share in front of people, especially to an organization i am involved. I speak in front of all my teams every week now, as i deliberately got arranged to do it, and so far im getting used to it, so the same as last time, i was very scared to network with people, but i choose a networking platform, which forces me to just go in to get connected to people, and just basically do it. So again, to be good and building up confidence, and being in front of people, just keep doing it, and of course preparations and prompts of it first will help, but deliberately doing it ongoing and you will be much better in it and soon in front of everyone you will be good at it very soon. Share with me your experience if you have tried something up on this. Cheers |

| body | Learning should be done on a daily basis. Actually, we are learning no matter what we do. There are 2 types of real learning. 1) Experience Learning 2) Skill / Psyyical Learning. Experience learning Basically, this one is the simplest of them all. Whatever we go through how we deal with certain people, situation life, it all comes to all the experience we go through as we age. Its whether we take time to reflect upon them and use it for later part of our life. Try it whenever we go through any situation, try to do some reflection, especially good times and bad times. We tend to remember more on the bad times, but dont forget we also have our good times to reflect and remember the things we do. Skill / Psyyical Learning. Basically, this one comes in when we want to learn a language, skills, or anything that needs our current focus. And the key to success is consistency and practice practice practice. The more we do it, the better we become at it. So it always depends how far or deep you wish to go into this. If you really have no time, try to spend small small bits of time daily to try and do the things out. Just deliberately doing it, the smallest one of it and in time we get so good at it, that we dont realize it. So key thing for this is CONSISTENCY and NEVER GIVE UP and you will be able to pick anything up. Why am i writing this? We all forget that as we age, we need to keep learning, and we have forgotten the need and want to learn, when we are adult. So i would encourage more people to support this and keep improving your life. |

| body | I realize i lack of this in speaking in public. I am going to try to build up on this, a big idea i got from "How to develop self-confidence & Influnce people by public speaking, i think the first main thing is that we need to be ourself when we speak. Be who you really are, and not fake it when you are up on stage. If you are nervous, then just mentioned it, i think people dont mind at all. Then next i will do is you need to be practicing. The main thing is be as ready as you can by practicing. Keep doing it no matter what and imagine yourself speaking. Next is knowing the topic. If you are familiar with it, its much more easier to deliver the speech or the content of it. It takes even more exposure to be very spontaneous on stage. Other than that, would be always keep yourself well rested, and be as high energy as you can when you speak to a crowd. It doesnt make sense to speak in a tired or sleepy voice. Hope this can help and remind myself on this note above. Happy trying and be confidence in speaking! |

| body | Latrely, i have been testing out my exercise routine. I have been very lazy and skipped my exercises of what i used to do once a week for 1 hour. As you know sometimes when we start something we tend to go back to our habit pattern. So as i notice that, i am getting fatter and fatter and not any healthier as well. So what i did in a small change is just dooing about 10 minutes of exercise. VERY SIMPLE Exercise, to get my engine started. So far its been doing great after a week. Doing it for about 10 minutes a day on the simplest thing, example: 1) 20 jumping jacks 2) 20 mountain climber 3) 20-30 seconds of plantk 4) 20 sit up 5) 10 leg carry up and down After that i do my warm down of stretches and thats it. Try it out, even 5 minutes a day is good enough. I realize the key thing is consistency is the way to all success #consitency #edwardboey #newwave |
