      "body": "<center><h3><div class=\"phishy\">\"What is something that happened to you and felt impossible to get through but you did\"? </div></h3></center>\n‎\n![IMG_20260607_164518_530.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmTLX2Cet369iZEa8XG7LLFYQvUkG8ftVGwn5qxM26oRKV/IMG_20260607_164518_530.jpg)\n\n‎<p>\n‎One thing that happened to me that felt impossible to get through was losing my mum.\n‎Growing up, my mum was the person I talked to about almost everything. she was not just my mother, she was my supporter, adviser and the person always knew how to make me feel better when life became difficult.  Because of that, I never imagined what life would be like without her.\n‎When she passed away, it felt like unreal.  I remember waking up every morning hoping it had all been bad dream.  For weeks, Months I could not accept the fact that she was gone.  The house felt different, her voice was no longer there.  Her laughter was gone too, even the little things, like seeing her favorite chair empty, would bring tears to my eyes. \n‎\n‎The hardest part was learning how to continue with my daily life, while carrying so much pain inside.  There were days when I did not want to leave my room. I lost interest in the things I normally enjoyed and I often found myself crying, when no one was around.  Sometimes, I would pick up my cell phone wanting to call her, before remembering that I could not.  At that time, I honestly don't know how I would move forward.  It felt like a part of me had been taken away forever.  But little by little, with the support of my family and friends I began to find strength again.  The pain did not disappear, but I learned how to live with it.\n‎\n‎Today, I still miss my mum deeply.  There are special days when I wish she were here to celebrate with me, and there are difficult moments when i wish I could hear her advice.  But I also carry the lessons she taught me, and those lessons continue to guide me everyday.  Losing my mum was the hardest thing I have ever experienced,  for a year and few Months now, it felt impossible to get through, yet somehow, one day at a time, I did.  That experience taught me that, even when life brings unimaginable pain, we can find the strength to keep going, especially when we hold on to the love and memories of those we have lost.\n\n![IMG_20260607_165117_971.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmNuvmr11vx6KhAeUW2ZiHfVXXQNyw3rTTSV132PwoQdXv/IMG_20260607_165117_971.jpg)\nMum you taught me a lot, but didn't teach me how to live without you...\n\n‎</p>\n‎\n‎<center><h3><div class=\"phishy\">\"How has this tough time changed what you value most\"?</div></h3></center>\n‎\n‎<p>\n‎\n‎Losing my mum completely changed what I value most in life.  Before she passed away, I spent a lot of time worrying about things like money, school and future plans.  I thought those things were the most important things.  But after losing her, I realized that time with the people we love is far more valuable than anything else.\n‎One of my biggest biggest regrets is not knowing that some of the ordinary moments we shared would become my last memories of her.  We often assume that our loved ones will always be there, so we postpone visits, conversations and expressions of gratitude.  Losing my mum taught me that, life can change in a single moments.  I have learned to value family, time and the little moments we shared.  The experience strengthened my faith and taught me that love, relationships and gratitude are far more important than money or success.  It reminded me never to take the people I love for granted.\n‎</p>\n‎\n‎<center><h3><div class=\"phishy\">\"What is a small win you have had recently that felt huge\"?</div></h3></center>\n‎\n‎<p>\n‎\n‎A small win I have had recently was becoming more consistent with my studies.  After losing my mum, staying focused was difficult and I often lacked motivation. However, I created a study routine and gradually I am becoming use to it, seeing myself complete my daily goals gives me confidence and reminded me that progress comes from small achievement, but for me, it felt like a huge step forward.  \n‎</p>\n‎\n‎<center><h3><div class=\"phishy\">\"What is a new perspective you have gained on life or yourself\"?</div></h3>\n‎\n‎<p>\n‎\n‎One new perspective I have gained about life is that, strength does not always look the way we think it does.  Losing my mum changed my perspective on life and myself.  I learned that true strength is not about hiding your emotions but about continuing to move forward during difficult times.  It  also taught me to value the people I love and appreciate every moment with them.  Through that experience, I. discovered that I am stronger than I thought and that life's challenges can help us grow.  \n‎</p>\n‎\n‎<center><h3><div class=\"phishy\">\"Is it really true\"What does not kill you, makes you stronger\"Why?</div></h3>\n‎\n‎<p>\n‎\n‎I believe the saying\"what does not kill you makes you stronger \" is partly true.\n‎Difficult experience, such as losing my mum, taught me valuable lessons about life.  However, hardship does not automatically make someone stronger over night.  Some experiences leave deep wounds and can affect people for a long time.  Strength does not come from the pain itself, it comes from how respond to it, the support we receive and the lessons we choose to take from it.  So, if I had to answer the question, I would say that, what does not kill you can make you stronger, but only if you grow through the experience rather than allowing it to completely defeat you.  The hardship gives you the opportunity to become stronger, but the growth comes from how you face it.\n\n![IMG_20260607_164445_534.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmfAuCdHE3q2LXu3nazSTwusg7zw2667KKAbrx6NMZ7oSP/IMG_20260607_164445_534.jpg)\n\n‎</p>",

Today, I would like to share how I spent my Saturday. I washed my clothes, mopped the floors, cleaned the restroom, and carried out general cleaning around the house. I decided to go out and buy breakfast from a nearby street vendor. I bought  baked beans (Akara) and pap, I got  the pap prepared immediately with hot water.  I added sugar and milk to the pap which tasted very delicious after all the work I had done that morning. I bought melon (egusi), fish, crayfish, uziza leaves, and other ingredients needed for the soup. To save time, I had the melon ground at the market before leaving.\n‎On my way home, I stopped at my seamstress's shop to check on the clothes I had given her to sew. Luckily, she had already completed them. I was happy to see that the clothes were neatly made and looked beautiful. Since the melon had already been ground, the preparation was much easier. I carefully cooked the egusi soup, adding the fish, crayfish, onions and other ingredients one after another. As much as I wanted to continue sleeping, I know I had to get up and start preparing for the day. Today was different, my body needed something warm, so I decided to prepare a simple breakfast for myself. I prepared a hot cup of tea and bread. The hot tea made me feel comfortable and gave me energy for the rest of the day. Sometimes, it is the simple things in life that bring the most comfort, the sound of rain, a warm meal and a peaceful morning to begin the day. Even though the weather was cold, I enjoyed every moment of it.\n‎\n‎</p>\n‎\n‎<div class=\"text-center\">\n‎\n‎<p>\n‎\n‎Despite the heavy rain, I gathered myself and headed out to school. Walking out in the wet morning was not easy but I don't have any options. At school, the day went by steadily. The rain continued through out the day, making everywhere feel cool and quiet. It was evening and time to head home but, on my way back, I stopped at the market to buy soup condiments for one of my favorite local dishes, cocoyam soup. I picked up few things like, cocoyam, palm fruit, meat, dried fish, uha leaf and uzuzia leaf,(vegetables) natural spices, and few other items. I peeled, washed the cocoyam and put it on fire, I began cooking.\n‎As the soup started coming together, the aroma filled my room very satisfying and inviting. After all the effort and patience, the cocoyam soup came out very sweet and delicious.\n‎Unfortunately, my friend Jane could not make it to visit me because of the heavy rainfall. I had been looking forward to sharing the meal with her. I enjoyed the meal alone and lonely while eating without company. Honestly, the aroma from the kitchen later became so nice and inviting. Even though the cooking process took longer than expected.
