bodyThank you for this interesting post. I've been interested in North Korea since I had read this amazing (terrible) stories of different women's run from North Korea to china , respectively South Korea... I hope so much that there will be a solution soon and there will be peace and freedom in North Korea.

bodyDeus Ex games have consistently shared several central pillars: there's the first-person, firearm-focused combat and the rich, challenging stealth gameplay, of course, but the games also allow players to hack, explore, and even talk their way to victory. We've previously seen plenty of the stealth and combat pillars from Deus Ex: Mankind Divided thanks to some early hands-on time with a few self-contained story missions, but the team at Eidos Montreal revealed almost nothing about the connective tissue that will flesh out the campaign between firefights. That finally changed last week when I sat down with a new six-hour chunk of the game, which contained two open world sections, several side missions, and nearly a dozen decision-driven conversations. I also got an early look at the game's added crafting system, as well as antihero Adam Jensen's new augments. Here's what I learned about all five features. http://static5.gamespot.com/uploads/scale_super/1560/15603561/3095660-dxmd_2016_07_18_preview_online-38.jpg Structure Mankind Divided may have relocated its ongoing story to Prague, but the new setting retains the same overall structure we saw in predecessor Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Rather than a single contiguous map, the game contains several discrete open areas that are connected by a subway system--walk into a station, select a destination on the map, and enjoy a brief cutscene as you're whisked away to another part of the city. Much like the streets of Detroit, Prague's neighborhoods feel slightly unnatural and claustrophobic. Though you're free to explore these areas at your own pace--tracking down hidden areas and items, talking to civilians, and maybe even stumbling onto a side quest or two--I was frequently met by empty cul de sacs. Rather than feeling like an authentic city, the section of Prague I saw felt like, well, just a level in a video game, too tubular and artificial to function as a believable, immersive world. That said, the buildings and sewers I could access were densely packed with hidden vents, hackable computer terminals, shady weapons dealers, and more. And judging by the healthy number of locations displayed on the subway map (and the fact that certain story missions take place in different locations entirely), Mankind Divided's world will likely dwarf that of Human Revolution. With so much more to see, it's a bit too early to fully judge this component of the game. Side Missions While I may not be totally sold on the world, Mankind Divided definitely delivers a heavier dose of side content than its predecessor. Not only are there more side missions, the missions themselves are now more elaborate, nearly rivaling the complexity of the main story content in some cases. For example, while exploring the streets of Prague, I was stopped at a checkpoint by a crooked cop who informed me a certain acquaintance of his could provide me with some expertly forged ID papers--a necessity for any augmented individual hoping to move freely through the bitterly divided city. Wanting to shut down his little extortion racket, I played along and quickly found myself sneaking into a warehouse, subduing some thugs, avoiding trip lasers, hacking a door, and confronting the forger herself in a tense, thoughtful conversation. And that wasn't even the end of the mission. Of course, this type of content remains totally optional. The game always gave me an option to decline when speaking with quest-givers, and the mission menu displays all active side quests, implying you're under no obligation to complete them quickly...or at all. Interestingly, though, I did receive a warning screen before I boarded a chopper to head to the next major story mission in another area. Apparently progressing through the campaign eliminates the option to complete certain side quests. http://static1.gamespot.com/uploads/scale_medium/1560/15603561/3095661-dxmd_2016_07_18_preview_online-43.jpg Conversations Like the side content, Mankind Divided's social systems feel more fully-realized than ever. I encountered full conversations more frequently during my hands-on time with Mankind Divided than I did while playing through Human Revolution, including several optional interactions that existed solely to provide insight into the world. And within those conversations, I generally found more opportunities to make dialogue choices that diverted the exchange. My conversation with that crooked cop, for example, could have ended any number of ways depending on how hard I pushed him. During one playthrough, I took a hardline and openly threatened to expose his corruption. He responded by opening fire on me, and when other nearby officers followed suit, I was dead in an instant. When I tried again and humored him instead, I was rewarded with a side quest that ultimately allowed me to sabotage his extortion racket without getting murdered. Other conversations were a bit more mixed. My talk with the forger was tense and intricate and forced me into several morally ambiguous decisions, but conversations between Jensen and his secretive ally Alex were generally thinly veiled exposition dumps rather than real, human interactions. Still, there's plenty more to see, and in all likelihood, conversations will carry more weight once the story has had a chance to develop. New Augments As expected, Jensen's sporting several new augments--the controversial cybernetic enhancements at the center of the game's story. Among the new options: a concussive blast that's essentially a Force Push, a non-lethal option for the Typhoon area attack, a speed burst that allows Jensen to dash across short distances, a remote hacking ability, and straight-up bullet time. While these added upgrades are of course welcome, they do come at a cost. Basically, Jensen's existing augments get a little wonky after he's involved in a serious incident early in the game. When he goes in for the repairs, his eccentric engineer discovers these dormant augments hidden inside Jensen's body. They're cool and powerful and stuff, sure, but activating any of them raises Jensen's heat output over 100%, which, according to the engineer, could cause his body to "malfunction." In order to reduce Jensen's heat to an acceptable level, you have to permanently disable an existing augment for each experimental augment you activate. http://static2.gamespot.com/uploads/scale_medium/1560/15603561/3095662-dxmd_2016_07_18_preview_online-44.jpg At least, that's the idea. However, I actually left Jensen's heat level at 150% and never noticed any side effects, though it's possible I missed something or simply misunderstood the system. The real limiting factor, as before, is the ungenerous energy bar, which drains quickly any time you use an augment and only recharges to a point unless you use a consumable. Crafting Mankind Divided's crafting system is the weakest of all the additions. By collecting generic "crafting parts" scattered around the environments, you can purchase basic upgrades for your weapons such as increased damage or a higher rate of fire--nothing that drastically alters or augments the way the gun functions in-game. You can also craft various consumables like armor piercing rounds and special one-use hacking tools. All of this can be accomplished in the menu system, so no need to find a workbench or anything like that. While it's possible the crafting system grows more robust as you progress deeper into the campaign, I didn't see any indications of how the system might grow or evolve. In reality, it seems like less of a crafting system and more of a simple way to improve your gear's stats over time, which is honestly fine. With all the stealth, hacking, augments, and combat at play, there's already more than enough complexity in Mankind Divided to keep even the most fickle gamer engaged. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCkNwllUOQY

Reports are surfacing from publications who are publishing polls and opinions about how a Trump candidacy could very well lead to a Trump presidency due to the huge distrust of Hillary Clinton. NT1 With polls still favoring Clinton, they might be an unreliable source of information, as Trump has eliminated his competition well before the Republican convention, and there’s no reason why he wouldn’t be able to do it with Clinton. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBVbNhTF7lg Rush Limbaugh is explaining this phenomenon. He is convinced that Trump will definitely win and by high margins. Just listen to this clip from his radio show and you might even come to the same conclusion as he has.

bodyThis is a pretty fascinating post. It also is going to be one we likely don't hear to much about. Thank you for sharing it. I hope you get some good votes for this one as it is about a place not many people will likely go. (at least for now) I agree with you on the idea of being inclusive rather then exclusive. Though I also believe in non-intervention. Not the same as Isolationism. I am fine with trading with people without interfering with their country.

bodyhttp://look3.ru/templates/img/uploadsmall/20151013_1225581730922.jpg You met an amazing girl. She’s beautiful, funny, intelligent, and doesn't seem to be out-of-her-mind crazy. Obviously you want her to be into you, too. Nothing's worse than getting shoved into the friend zone or getting so nervous to impress that you scare her away indefinitely. To make sure that doesn't happen, we reached out to dating experts to figure out what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to catching her attention. Here are seven surefire ways to nudge things along to a second date. 1. Dial down your walking speed. As you walk up to her (or with her), slow down your pace and slightly exaggerate your shoulder movements. It will make you look relaxed and in control. “She will read ‘confidence’ and confidence is always attractive,” says NYC-based body language expert Tonya Reiman, author of The Power of Body Language: How to Succeed in Every Business and Social Encounter. “Do this while holding eye contact and smiling and you will easily catch her attention.” Just make sure you stand tall and keep the shoulder action subtle. If you saunter too much she’ll either think you’re injured or some creeper approaching in slow-mo. 2. Talk yourself up (tactfully). If you speak a foreign language, surf, or play guitar, you definitely want to let her know. “Skills or talents are super sexy and highlighting them makes you appear more dynamic to her,” says San Diego-based dating and relationship coach DeAnna Lorraine. The trick is sliding them into conversation naturally, so you don’t come off as awkward—or like you’re bragging. Wait for the right opening, and slip it in nonchalantly. She will notice. 3. Speak with a strong, sure voice. To be clear, we’re not telling you to yell at her. But you want to convey outgoing confidence, which won’t happen if you talk in a soft, muffled way. To make sure your voice carries, practice talking twice as loud as you think you want to be when you’re out with your buddies. And since nerves can sabotage your efforts and make you sound choppy or high-pitched, take some slow, deep breaths before you head out on your date. “It will relax you and automatically lower the pitch of your voice,” Reiman says. Breathe in through your nose for a count of five and exhale through your mouth for a count of five. You should feel your abs move in and out. Repeat 10 times. 4. Give her 100 percent of your attention. When you’re with her, try to make her feel like she’s the only person in the room. “Even if dishes are breaking and good looking waitresses are walking by, keep your eyes focused on her,” says Reiman. Pay close attention to what she tells you and try to ask follow-up questions to show you’re interested in what she has to say. She’ll feel appreciated, plus the eye contact will work double duty, making her feel more bonded with you. 5. Tease her. Your first instinct may be to hold back and watch what you say as you get to know her, but that can backfire and make you appear dull. So don’t be afraid to disagree with her over who should’ve won the Super Bowl or lightheartedly tease her about her taste in music. Back-and-forth banter may actually help you stomp out any first date tension. “You’ll turn the conversation into something playful and flirtatious,” says Lorraine. If she’s laughing and having fun in a conversation, she’ll feel much more relaxed and will more likely be attracted to you. 6. Take her out for Thai. If you really want to get her pulse racing, take her out for spicy food. Dishes with a kick, such as those with curry or hot peppers, increase blood flow—as she heats up, she’ll associate the rush from the food with spending time with you. There’s also something else at play before she even takes the first bite. “Spicy foods spark feelings of danger,” says Reiman, “and a slight sense of fear can give her a small shot of adrenaline and build excitement.” Recommend she try a spiced-up entrée and order a hot dipping sauce with an appetizer that you two can share. 7. Make fun of yourself. Women love to laugh and always rate a sense of humor at the top of their list, so show her you’re easy going by telling a story that highlights a goofy or clumsy moment. Talk about your first time bungee jumping or parasailing, including the part about the rope smacking you in the face or how you stumbled through the landing. “Stories with slight self-deprecation show her that you’re comfortable in your own skin and resilient enough to pull out of problematic scenarios with a positive attitude,” Reiman says.

bodyI just finished the illustrated travel diary about the most extraordinary trip I’ve done so far in my life. The special circumstances of this country need more explanations I can give on captions of the picture slide show. Here we go, here’s my D.P.R.K.-FAQ. https://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-pyongyang-square.jpg »Seriously? Why the hell did you go there?« First of all it is important to answer »for what purpose« I went to North Korea: Tourism. After 5 years of research, reading and following closely the news about this country I booked a trip, went there and came back. The answer to »why« consist of several answers: A trip to North Korea is time travel Have you ever thought of the (younger) past and wished you would have been there when historic moments happened? Did you ever wonder what it really was like at a time before you where born? I did. And North Korea is a window into a time that is the past in most other countries. It’s Asia One really simple but for me important reason: Within the last few years I’ve seen quite a lot Asian countries. This region of the word is highly fascinating and extremely diverse. On my journey through all Asian countries North Korea shouldn’t be the white spot on the map. It’s the last white spot on the world map Isn’t it kind of sad that we can reach every single point on earth in less than three days? There is no journey into unknown fields anymore and when you finally arrive on the other side of the world you login on Facebook and buy a Grande Latte at the local Starbucks. North Korea is still different. It is a place (almost) without any strong western influence (yet). It’s maybe the last white spot on the world map. I would lie if I denied the adventure factor as a motivator to go there. I want to understand What happened in this part of the world that some countries like Japan are leading economic powers of the so called first world while their neighbors are – not? How could that happen? What is going so terribly wrong that 60 years after a terrible and forgotten war this country is still divided into two parts that are officially at war and constantly close to start fighting again? What are the parallels to my own country that is so incredibly lucky that it was reunited peacefully – why is that not possible on the Korean peninsula? I have a weakness for unique places A million city with really little traffic. An Autobahn without cars. One of the largest statues in the world. A Mausoleum for god-like leaders? An half empty hotel on an island? I would go to any place that has one of these things alone. In short: my curiosity brought me to North Korea. https://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-airline-ticket.jpg »But is it allowed?« Yes. As long as you are not a journalist or professional photographer you’ll get a Visa. Maybe even more surprising: Against a common belief, even US Americans can visit. It’s totally legal – from North Korean side as well as from US side. Actually one third of all Western tourists in North Korea are US citizens. https://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-airline.jpg »How did it work?« I entered the country per plane (Air Koryo!) and left it via train. The trip started and ended in Beijing, there is actually no other way to go into North Korea. You can’t go by yourself, a officially accepted travel agency is mandatory. https://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-dominiklookingatthings.jpg »Is it morally right to go to North Korea for – in the end – fun reasons?« This is for sure a question everybody should think about before considering a trip to North Korea. I considered this question over several years while following the international news and reading a lot of background material. I came to the conclusion: yes, it is. While there are many good reasons for and against any form of boycotts and principles I also strongly believe in change by including instead of excluding. It’s hard to keep the story of the child-eating capitalist alive if a significant percentage of citizens had positive experiences with foreigners. This is one among several reasons why I decided for myself that it is okay to go. https://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-pyongyang-subway.jpg »What impressed you most?« While it it easy to be impressed by the architecture and terrifying dimensions of everything there was one thing I was really surprised: The friendliness of every random person we met. Just everybody was kind, polite and friendly – and not only the people that are used to foreigners. https://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-pyongyang-a-arirang.jpg »Can you travel on your own?« No. Group tours and private tours are alway with a mandatory North Korean guide. As a guest you know and have to accept the rules in advance: Don’t leave the hotel alone and don’t do whatever you are told not to do. Fighting against these rules wouldn’t make any sense, they would just send you home and your trip is over. https://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-school.jpg »What can you do and see in North Korea?« A lot and nothing at the same time. A good observer will see within a few days enough stories for a whole lifetime. For sure it’s not the all inclusive beach vacation and I wouldn’t call my trip „vacation“. The picture show gives a good impression on the places I’ve seen there – on the other side the best things are missing due to „no photos“ rules. https://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-pyongyang-shooting.jpg »What was the most unique experience there?« The Mausoleum. Basically a gigantic marble temple with the only function to display the mummified bodies of Kim Jong-il and Kim Il-sung in Snow-White-like glass sarcophagus. Pictures are strictly forbidden. The scene there I remember best: Before you actually see the bodies of the Great Leaders you have to walk trough endless corridors with pictures left and right. Actually, walking is not the correct word since they installed these horizontal escalators which we know from airports. So please imagine the following situation: You’re standing in line on one of these band-conveyors. The speed is set to »dignity« level so you have enough time to recognize the hundreds of „Kim Jong-il looking at things“ photographs left and right from you. On your right side is another band-conveyor, going in the opposite direction. There hundreds of people stand in line on their way out. But unlike on your last Disney Land trip everybody is completely silent and just looks at you. Because you are the only foreigner. Oh. Did I mention that almost every other person in that building wears a military uniform? So you scroll by, minute by minute, in a totally silence environment, these hundreds of military people that watch you closely. Think of it. Still scrolling. Still. Yes, Still. I really want to tell Matt Groening this story so much. https://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-pyongyang-mural.jpg

"body": "I just finished the illustrated travel diary about the most extraordinary trip I’ve done so far in my life. The special circumstances of this country need more explanations I can give on captions of the picture slide show. Here we go, here’s my D.P.R.K.-FAQ.\n\nhttps://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-pyongyang-square.jpg\n\n»Seriously? Why the hell did you go there?«\nFirst of all it is important to answer »for what purpose« I went to North Korea: Tourism. After 5 years of research, reading and following closely the news about this country I booked a trip, went there and came back.\n\nThe answer to »why« consist of several answers:\n\nA trip to North Korea is time travel\nHave you ever thought of the (younger) past and wished you would have been there when historic moments happened? Did you ever wonder what it really was like at a time before you where born? I did. And North Korea is a window into a time that is the past in most other countries.\nIt’s Asia\nOne really simple but for me important reason: Within the last few years I’ve seen quite a lot Asian countries. This region of the word is highly fascinating and extremely diverse. On my journey through all Asian countries North Korea shouldn’t be the white spot on the map.\nIt’s the last white spot on the world map\nIsn’t it kind of sad that we can reach every single point on earth in less than three days? There is no journey into unknown fields anymore and when you finally arrive on the other side of the world you login on Facebook and buy a Grande Latte at the local Starbucks. North Korea is still different. It is a place (almost) without any strong western influence (yet). It’s maybe the last white spot on the world map. I would lie if I denied the adventure factor as a motivator to go there.\nI want to understand\nWhat happened in this part of the world that some countries like Japan are leading economic powers of the so called first world while their neighbors are – not? How could that happen? What is going so terribly wrong that 60 years after a terrible and forgotten war this country is still divided into two parts that are officially at war and constantly close to start fighting again? What are the parallels to my own country that is so incredibly lucky that it was reunited peacefully – why is that not possible on the Korean peninsula?\nI have a weakness for unique places\nA million city with really little traffic. An Autobahn without cars. One of the largest statues in the world. A Mausoleum for god-like leaders? An half empty hotel on an island? I would go to any place that has one of these things alone.\nIn short: my curiosity brought me to North Korea.\n\nhttps://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-airline-ticket.jpg\n\n»But is it allowed?«\nYes. As long as you are not a journalist or professional photographer you’ll get a Visa. Maybe even more surprising: Against a common belief, even US Americans can visit. It’s totally legal – from North Korean side as well as from US side. Actually one third of all Western tourists in North Korea are US citizens.\n\nhttps://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-airline.jpg\n\n»How did it work?«\nI entered the country per plane (Air Koryo!) and left it via train. The trip started and ended in Beijing, there is actually no other way to go into North Korea. You can’t go by yourself, a officially accepted travel agency is mandatory.\n\nhttps://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-dominiklookingatthings.jpg\n\n»Is it morally right to go to North Korea for – in the end – fun reasons?«\nThis is for sure a question everybody should think about before considering a trip to North Korea. I considered this question over several years while following the international news and reading a lot of background material. I came to the conclusion: yes, it is.\n\nWhile there are many good reasons for and against any form of boycotts and principles I also strongly believe in change by including instead of excluding. It’s hard to keep the story of the child-eating capitalist alive if a significant percentage of citizens had positive experiences with foreigners. This is one among several reasons why I decided for myself that it is okay to go.\n\nhttps://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-pyongyang-subway.jpg\n\n»What impressed you most?«\nWhile it it easy to be impressed by the architecture and terrifying dimensions of everything there was one thing I was really surprised: The friendliness of every random person we met. Just everybody was kind, polite and friendly – and not only the people that are used to foreigners.\n\nhttps://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-pyongyang-a-arirang.jpg\n\n»Can you travel on your own?«\nNo. Group tours and private tours are alway with a mandatory North Korean guide. As a guest you know and have to accept the rules in advance: Don’t leave the hotel alone and don’t do whatever you are told not to do. Fighting against these rules wouldn’t make any sense, they would just send you home and your trip is over.\n\nhttps://www.dominik-schwarz.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nothkorea-school.jpg\n\n»What can you do and see in North Korea?«\nA lot and nothing at the same time. body"There was nothing special about this situation," Cloud Imperium says. After having his request for a refund initially turned down, a Star Citizen backer has received more than $2,500 back from developer Cloud Imperium Games after he complained to California's Attorney General. The road to securing that refund is documented in a post by the backer, who goes by the name Streetroller, on the Something Awful forums (which were subsequently shared on Imgur). In his initial request, he stated, "Because of various changes of policy by Cloud Imperium Games or Roberts Space Industries, the product remains unfulfilled and no longer constitutes the product(s) I originally purchased. To bring this to a resolution, I am requesting a full refund." http://static5.gamespot.com/uploads/scale_super/123/1239113/3095290-sc1.jpg Star Citizen remains unreleased almost four years after its crowdfunding campaign first began, though modular components of it have been offered to the public. Cloud Imperium initially turned Streetroller down, citing the 14-day window where it offers refunds following a pledge. It also cited its terms of service, which it said make it clear he was not entitled to a refund. The two sides then exchanged another round of emails in which Streetroller insisted he is eligible for a refund and Cloud Imperium insisted it couldn't do anything. Streetroller then shared his plan to contact various groups, such as the Federal Trade Commission and Internet Crime Complaint Center, as well as California's Attorney General and PayPal. "I thought you guys were a great company, misguided maybe, but least not brutal," he wrote. "I know my rights, and I won't let any company--even one I may have liked--to take $3000 from me." This resulted in a $900 refund through Amazon Payments and a reply from a representative for the Attorney General's office. It noted that the complaint was forwarded to Cloud Imperium, which in turn responded to the Attorney General's office. Cloud Imperium's reply said that Streetroller agreed to terms of service that explained his money would be non-refundable. "Contrary to complainant's statements, terms to this effect have been in the ToS and/or Commercial Terms ever since Star Citizen's crowdfunding began," it stated. "None of the revisions to our ToS have affected complainant's position in this regard which is also in line with typical crowdfunding terms as they can be found for example on Kickstarter, the world's most preeminent crowdfunding site. In accordance with the above, complainant's pledge has been used for the game development, and therefore has been earned and is no longer returnable to the complainant at this point." It also said that the release dates it provided "were estimates, as is customary in the context of crowdfunding." It then explained that the huge amount of money raised by the game expanded its scope and that Streetroller made "several additional pledges after this expansion became well known." It also pointed to the long development cycle of other large-scale games that can take four to five years. "We understand that some individuals may not want to wait for the completion of the project and ask for refunds," it continues. "Even though these are very few exceptions, put simply, 'takebacks' are not compatible with the whole concept of crowdfunding since it is simply not fair to the fundraising backers who join our community every month." Despite all of this, it then said that it would grant Streetroller his desired refund. http://static1.gamespot.com/uploads/scale_super/123/1239113/3095291-sc2.jpg "Nonetheless, having reviewed complainant's interactions with our customer service agents, we have determined that it is also in our interest to terminate his participation in our fundraising community," it stated. "We are therefore agreeing to close complainant's account permanently and we will issue a refund of his pledge promptly." Streetroller reports that, about two weeks later, he received two additional refunds for "the additional balance of what [he] was unable to recover." One of these was for $1,650, while the other was for $10. Combined with the $900 he earlier reported he got back, that brings the total to $2,560. He claims to have gotten back $3,000 in all. GameSpot contacted Cloud Imperium for comment regarding its decision to offer a refund and was told nothing has changed regarding its policies. "Any refunds with respect to Star Citizen are made on a discretionary basis," a representative said. "There was nothing special about this situation. The fact that this particular party used a complaint form that is online and openly available, doesn’t make this any different." The subject of Star Citizen refunds gained some attention in June due to a change to the company's terms of service. As reported by Kotaku, a clause that had previous said "unearned portion[s]" of pledges "shall not be refundable until and unless RSI has failed to deliver the relevant pledge items and/or the game to you within eighteen (18) months after the estimated delivery date." This language was then adjusted to say these portions aren't refundable "until and unless RSI has ceased development and failed to deliver the relevant pledge items and/or the game to you." Essentially, it made it more difficult to secure any kind of refund based on the long wait for anyone who backs the game after the change was made in June. (The original terms still apply to anyone who backed the game prior to this change.) Whether the shift in language will impact another situation like this from arising, though, remains to be seen. Star Citizen's crowdfunding is now over a whopping $117 million from more than 1.4 million people. A major update for the playable alpha was released last month. Just prior, the studio said it expected the "pace of production [to] continue to pick up as it already has since late 2015."
