Let me tell you a little bit about why I decided to write this blog today.  I have been fascinated with being an entrepreneur since I held my first job at the tender age of 7.  At 7 years of age I was a landscaper, cleaning person and I even sold pecans that would fall from my grandmother’s front yard tree.  Through my school indoctrination camp grades 1-12 I was brainwashed into the whole job concept. Even though I was never much for following the directives of others, as an adult I did try the old get a good job thing Hell I even went to college.  I’ve done everything from selling mortgages, selling cable, selling cellular phones and I am very ashamed to say I have also worked as a lowly customer service representative.  Just typing about some of those past jobs make me want to throw up.\n![new-job-not-working-out.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmPgGr3c6NVDnv4auEccp6fG6ATsLrMKjGMQ2qRZFB67PS/new-job-not-working-out.jpg)\nIt would be very difficult to pin point the exact reasons why I hate the idea of working for someone else, but I’ll give it a shot.  Let’s start with the fact that working on a job requires us to spend a ridiculous amount of time working hard to improve the well-being of someone else’s company.  The average person spends a minimum of 40 hours per week at a job which is the equivalent to 160 hours per month totaling 1,920 whopping hours per year.  Not to mention the anxiety everyone feels on their days off while waiting for a fresh work week.  I personally hated this, I would sit in an office and hours would seem like years it was almost like I was in a jail in which I locked myself up.  Most of today;s corporate jobs require one to have scheduled breaks, lunches and whatever else the company can think of to further let you know they are in control of you and you are pretty much a robot for their bidding.\n![unemployed-man-student-debt-1.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmSbyFw5V57uvvbyWD82RueY3NmYYcu5Dq4ZXyiPyEozCj/unemployed-man-student-debt-1.jpg)\nSpeaking from my own personal experience I found myself dreading going to work so much that I would count the seconds until I would have to return to work long after my day had ended.  I thought that maybe if I were to work in different industries I would lose the sense of dread with what I was doing.  You guessed it, not only was I wrong I ended up hating each job more than the other and the crazy thing is that it began to take a toll on my social life.  Alcohol became a good option for me, it would allow me to not only forget about work but also pass the time quicker while at work.  That wasn’t a typo in my last sentence I would find myself drinking a minimum of 2 days per week while at work starting during my lunch hour well my 30-minute lunch because a grown ass man was expected to eat a full meal in 30 damn minutes. \n\nI always thought maybe something was wrong with me, maybe I have some deep ceded mental illness that didn’t allow me to see the joy of working on a job.  The truth is there wasn’t a thing wrong with me, I was and still am not meant to be held to the limitations and restraints of a job.  What does one do when he or she realizes that no job will ever make them happy?  The first thing I did was start looking for a way out or else I was going to die, I am not bullshitting I would either die from alcoholism or die from a damn heart attack.  I started my request for knowledge with Napoleon Hill’s “Think & Grow Rich”, I read that book in 2 days and realized everything I had ever been taught was a complete lie.  Growing up poor I was taught go to college because that’s how you will land a great job and become wealthy.  College was a scam and so was the debt it created which doubles magically every 5 years, this is what happened to me, so this is my reality though you may be the exception. I won’t lie to you, becoming an entrepreneur can be frightening but one must realize that the only reason we have the fear of becoming our own boss is society has told us to be afraid.  We must conquer our fears and do the things we are meant to do, there will be hard times there will be many failures but at the end of it all there is a breakthrough awaiting us we have to be steadfast in our vision.  I have a gift and a purpose, it is up to me to bring my dreams to light and share them to the world. Your passion is God’s will itself within you.  If you have found yourself sick, withdrawn from the world, depressed and know you have a purpose bigger than your current situation I would suggest you follow your gut. Here is a little experiment you can try, take a co-worker and make sure you choose one with a political stance that differ from yours, have lunch and swap mobile devices during this lunch and monitor the content that is pumped to that person. A bunch of tweets have made you hate North Koreans, shit maybe they don’t want to be destroyed like Libya you remember when Obama said we needed to fight their dictator, well look at them now……….. Oh and finally a few people taking a knee at football games made you justify police brutality in America and say that those taking a knee were against America.  Take a good look at yourselves, look in the mirror and ask yourself what you believe in????  Think about it you aren’t even you because you don’t think for yourself, seriously how can you think for yourself??\n\t\nFrom the time you were able to walk and talk you were thrusts into a government indoctrination camp called School. What we all should be focusing on is how to build relationships but I will get to that in a moment.\n\nI also quickly found after handing out hundreds of business cards that people would request them simply as a way of brushing me off.  People are mostly polite by nature and will tell “sure I’m interested, let me have your business card and I will call you”.  For a new sales person this is exciting until you sit by the phone anxiously awaiting that phone call and the phone NEVER RINGS.\n\nThis can be discouraging at first but also a good learning experience, the truth is you haven’t earned the right for a phone call from a prospective client or buyer because you have yet to provide any true value.  Here is where things get tricky and you can potentially turn that business card into a gold mine.\n\nI began to scan and photocopy both the front of my card and I also kept a pdf version on standby, when I would spark up conversations with individuals that I would offer my services too or if they requested my business card I would always say “I knew you would ask me that, I have been out all-day meeting people just like you and I’m fresh out.  I do however have a virtual version I can send to you now, what is your phone number and email address?”\n\nNow during this conversation my phone is already out and I’ve already began to save their name in my contacts, I have gotten little to know objection to this technique and when I do get that rare objection I simply say “John I will not spam you are call you attempting to sell you something I would however like to store your name in my database just in case I have some information you may find of value, my ultimate goal is to add value to your life and that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be my client for me to do so.”  Unless the person is flat out not interested then they will give you their information.\n\nNow that you have landed their contact information it is up to you to develop a personalized marketing system for that individual and not just some cookie cutter spam email or text. Social media has become a cesspool of fitness products, pseudo financial services and just about any type of get rich quick scheme you can think of under the banner of Financial Freedom.  I want you to think about all the posts you have seen over the last week, it’s insane to see so many individuals that have bought into the bullshit ideology that some magic product and recruiting scheme is going to truly change one’s financial situation.\n\t\nIt seems like every other day someone is sending me a direct message requesting me to come to some meeting with a vague description about some bullshit product that they don’t know much about and seem totally disinterested in.  I understand that people are desperate, I also understand that everyone wants to improve their situation but where do we draw the line?  I know people see all the photo shopped photos of fancy cars and money but seriously do any of you personally know anyone that has made millions of dollars from multi-level marketing? Here is the deal they are making the money off the dream they are selling you, it just happens to come in the form of getting you to believe that selling some product or participating in some scheme is how they obtained wealth.  I am not saying you can’t make some money in multi-level marketing, but what I am saying if you want true wealth you are going to have to develop your own niche.\n\t\nIf you want to sell a multi-level marketing product, start a damn multi-level marketing company where you sit at the top of the pyramid.  If you have an idea, write that shit down, develop a plan and put it into action.  Spend more time on personal development, don’t be another sucker working hard for someone else’s company.  Just in case you didn’t know, working and spamming people with MLM bullshit is not being your own boss, you are actively working for someone else, selling their products and using your influence to recruit and feed their business.\n\t\nI need for people to get original and stop looking for the easy way out, I will not submit to this belief that people are so beat down by life and so desperate that they can no longer look within themselves for success and wealth.  Think about all the businesses that you see, think about the things you use every day.  Someone took a risk and I am fairly sure they failed multiple times along the way but they weren’t afraid of failing and they damn sure didn’t go for some get rich quick scheme.\n\t\nIsn’t about time we look within ourselves and monetize our true talents?  I know one thing is for sure if I know someone has a product that they worked hard to create, and they offered it to me I will support that business even if I think the product is garbage.       "body": "Once upon a time not to long ago, the Life Insurance Industry was a no holds barred Sales Person First Industry.  Life Insurance agents were armed with one mission and that mission was to make as much money possible from each client.  Life Insurance Agents were and still are limited to the type of policies that they can sell individuals due to their LOW-LEVEL licensing.\n \nA favorite policy by many Life Insurance Agents was the infamous whole life policy.  This policy was sold to individuals with the hopes of earning interest over time that would eventually help with retirement, large future purchases etc.  Unfortunately for the individuals that purchased this type of policy they failed to look at how the policy works.  THAT HIDDEN LANGUAGE IS A KILLER!\n \nA whole life policy’s cash value is based on the INSURANCE COMPANY PAYING THE OWNER A PERCENTAGE, unfortunately the percentages shown with the sale of the policy were GROSSLY OVERSTATED and the owners of those type of Life Insurance policies would receive less than a 3rd of those shown percentages.  This is now an unacceptable practice in the industry.\n\n Another issue with Whole Life Insurance is that the policies are ridiculously priced when compared to other options.  This Expensive type of policy mean that both the Insurance Company and the Sales Person earn a very hefty commission.  Seriously a lower performing policy that COSTS MORE?  Why would anyone do that?\n \nThe last issue with Whole Life Insurance is that they charge you for you for using your cash value in the amount of 4-8%.  So wait, THEY OVER CHARGE YOU FOR THE POLICY, THE POLICY EARNS LESS MONEY THAN THEY TOLD YOU IT WOULD AND FINALLY THEY CHARGE YOU A LARGE PERCENTAGE TO TAKE YOUR EARNINGS??????????!\n \nDon’t worry you have options, how would you like to take that same policy and convert it into a new policy with LOWER PREMIUMS, HIGHER DEATH BENEFIT, ADDED LIVING BENEFITS and NO CHARGE FOR TAKING YOUR EARNINGS.  By the way YOU CAN EARN 5X what your Whole Life Policy earned in half the time.",
