Viele werden sich jetzt wahrscheinlich beim Titel meines Beitrags denken: Wie was sie in ihrem Job macht? Sie spricht ins Mikrofon, ist doch einfach! \n\nUnd genau das ist der Grund, wieso ich euch ein bisschen was über den Beruf des Radiomoderators erzählen möchte. \nNatürlich, ich spreche ins Mikrofon. Bis dahin ist es aber ein langer Weg. \nMein Tag beginnt mit einer Besprechung, bei der die verschiedenen Themen für die Sendung besprochen werden. Je nachdem muss man dann noch Telefoninterviews führen, die Töne schneiden und die Texte dazu so verfassen, dass es alles einen runden \"Moderations-Break\" ergibt. Oft sitze ich lange da und überlege mir, wie ich am kreativsten an die Sache rangehen kann. Das kann einen manchmal fast um den Verstand bringen ;) \n\nEine Sendung geht unter der Woche fünf Stunden lang. Das bedeutet, die fünf Stunden Wort für Wort vorbereiten. Es wird kaum etwas dem Zufall überlassen. Eine Sendung ist bei mir etwa 15  Seiten lang.  Wir haben eine bestimmte \"Sende-Uhr\", nach der wir moderieren. Es ist vorgegeben, wann wie viele Lieder kommen, an welcher Stelle wir moderieren usw. Wenn ich dann einen \"Moderations-Break\" habe,  heißt es die Töne auf die Regler legen, passende \"Betten\", also Hintergrundmusik zu finden und vieles mehr. Wir nennen das \"Fahren\", also wir fahren die Sendung.  Oft macht man das ohne hinzuschauen, denn wir müssen ja die Texte lesen. Die Kunst des Moderierens ist es, dass es sich  so anhört, als würde man frei erzählen. Dabei muss man sich in die jeweilige Situation einfühlen. Wenn es irgendwo eine Naturkatastrophe gegeben hat, muss man das dementsprechend moderieren. Die jeweiligen Emotionen sollten möglichst schnell abrufbar sein. Dabei sollte die Authentizitä̱t aber auch nicht verloren gehen. Wir wollen den Hörern ja nichts vorspielen. Wobei es bei einer Katastrophe auch nicht schwer fällt, die eigene Betroffenheit zu zeigen. Solche Situationen sind aber zum Glück die Ausnahme. Sonst wird von einem Moderator verlangt, die Hörer stets gut gelaunt durch den Tag zu begleiten. Das fällt mir zum Glück meistens nicht sehr schwer! Ich liebe meinen Job! Er macht super viel Spaß.\nWas viele aber nicht sehen ist auch der ganze Aufwand, der damit verbunden ist. Viel Vorbereitung, sehr viel Konzentration und nicht selten auch Stress.  \n\nWarum ich euch das erzähle? Weil ich sicher nicht die einzige bin, die aufgrund ihres Berufs mit Vorurteilen überhäuft wird. \"Du stellst dich doch da nur hin und sagst irgendwas.\" Am Anfang habe ich mich ein bisschen darüber geärgert, weil der Beruf des Moderators nicht selten ein Knochenjob ist. Aber dann dachte ich mir: Woher sollen es die Leute denn auch besser wissen? Many will probably think: What she is doing in her job? She talks into the microphone, it's easy!\n\nAnd that's the reason why I would like to tell you a bit about beeing a radio host. \nOf course, I speak into the microphone. But until then, its a long way.\nMy day begins with a meeting, where the various topics for the program are discussed. You also have to do interviews, cut the tones and write the texts, or as we say\"moderation breaks.\" Often I sit for a long time and think about how I can most creatively write the text. Sometimes this is driving me crazy ;)\n\nA show is about five hours. This means preparing the five hours word for word. Nothing is left to chance. One show is about 15 pages long. We have a certain \"sending clock.\" When I have a \"moderation break\", the tones are put on the controls, to find matching \"beds\", the background music and much more. We call it \"driving\", so we drive the program. Often you do this without looking, because we have to read the texts. The art of moderation is that it sounds as if one were free to tell. You have to feel the situation. If there has been a natural catastrophe somewhere, you have to moderate it accordingly. The respective emotions should be accessible as quickly as possible. However, the authenticity should not be lost. We do not want to play with the listeners. And it is not difficult to show one's own embarrassment in a catastrophe. Such situations are fortunately the exception. Otherwise, a moderator is required to accompany the listeners in a good mood through the day. Fortunately, this is not very difficult for me! I love my job! It's so much fun.\nBut what many don't see is also the whole effort, which is connected with it. Much preparation, very much concentration and not infrequently also stress.\n\nWhy do I tell you this?
