The blood of Jesus is our access. The holiest of holy of all in the Old Testament represent a place where the highest form of divine transaction took place between a mortal man and divinity. At that time only the high priest had access to this awesome privilege. But now by the shedding of the blood of Jesus we all have an unhindered access into the very presence of God. The high priest only had access once in a year, but we have the privilege of accessing God on daily base because of the blood that was shed on our behave. Therefore we have the following privileges:\n 1.    This gives us an unhindered access to God anytime, any day and anywhere. We don’t have to get to the Church building before we can meet with God. God is equally available and accessible any where we find ourselves. I don’t have to go to a special place or go on pilgrimage to encounter God. You can have an encounter with God in your room as much as you will do in Jerusalem. I don’t have to see a pastor before God will answer my prayer. (That does not mean you don’t have to see your pastor if the need arise). The point we are making is we all have access by the blood of Jesus.\n2.    This is also an access into an inheritance that no parent could have given us. No matter how disadvantaged you think you are in terms of natural descent the new birth experience brought you into an untold inheritance.* We have access to all the blessings of God in Christ Jesus. Nothing really is too good for us not to have if we deeply believe on the blood that was shed for our short coming.\n\nI want to conclude by saying that this access we be on no use if we don’t take advantage of it. We must become bold about it. Don’t approach life any more from the stand point of timidity. Timidity will rob you of all that God has made available for us. Boldly enter\nInto that throne of Grace that has been bestow onto us by God himself.\n*CONFESSION:*\nI boldly enter into the blessings of God for my life. I read of the story of a woman who was born into a Christian home and thus knew Christ at an early age. As a teenager, she never liked who she was as she had been abused by many people and friends she trusted. There was a particular incidence of how one of her friends betrayed her trust by violating her body and then disgraced her by telling everybody what he had done to her. She was devastated and death seemed to be the most preferable option.\n\nYou might be able to relate with this. Your case might even be worse. Shame, fear, disappointment etc may have caused you emotional uproar that could necessitate contemplating death. However, I want you to know that God is bigger than all your problems. You might think death is preferable to shame but Jesus has assured you of abundant life (John 10:10). For he said and i quote that son of come that we may have life and have it in abundant, Undoubtedly, problems, troubles, evil situations and circumstances abound but GOD IS BIGGER than them all. Tell God about it. You can still enjoy your life and live fully. Let your disposition be MEUS VITA UT VIVERE- My Life to live.\n\nThe woman whose story I shared above wrote that she asked God to heal her heart and rededicated her life to Him. According to her, nothing instant happened but she woke up the next day feeling new, fresh and happy as never before. She said her heart became so whole that she forgave the friend who betrayed her. You can as well choose this option of turning to God and waiting on Him and watch Him turn your life around. Some people wish they had not met you, you may also feel the same way about other people. Some people might have fallen by doing what they should not have done because of you. It is equally possible that because of the influence of a supposed friend, you acted contrary to your beliefs and convictions. In the previous editions, I shared how others can be blessed because of you. You can check it out here https://drive.google.com/open?id=13t8F-fD1Z9ERk3mwebvL8d_OaC8A3NSI\n\nToday, I will like to share with you on how you can amend the wrong that you have caused. Truthfully, your actions cannot be reversed and some scars will not disappear but I believe there is a path in the right direction that should be taken. Some could have been hurt, displaced, disorganized, displeased, damaged, perplexed, confused, disoriented as a result of your influence. If you find this to be true, should you then fold your arms believing that time will heal? NO! I believe you should be intentional about restoration. Though not all cases can be restored (take for instance someone that was deflowered against her wish by you) but I believe the issue should be addressed with the intent of making the present and future better and desirable. How then can this be done?\n\nFirstly, ask God the father of us all to forgive you. The primary person you offend in your relationship with others is God-the creator. If you confess, He will forgive (1John 1:9). Secondly, allow God’s word to have free course in you such that you will forgive yourself. Some have committed worse acts/murder because they find it hard to forgive themselves. Never give in to the voice of condemnation from the devil. If you genuinely turn to God, he will accept you and not cast you away (John 6:37. Romans 8:1).\n\nThirdly, seek forgiveness from the party(s) you've offended. This means that you have to own up to your faults. The devil could have been the instigator but it’s obvious you are the actor. So, desist from the blame trade. Several consequences might emanate from owning up to your faults or misdeeds so I advise that you take such steps with wisdom and counsel (Proverbs 11:14).\nYou could have been the one offended. I admonish therefore, that you allow God’s word to minister to you and forgive others through the help of the Holy Spirit. \n\nNo doubt, what I have shared is difficult but it is possible and it is rewarding both here and hereafter. One of my friends who read the post commented that the problem of identity is also a reason for this rat race. This means that when people do not know who they are and what they are created for, they end up running the rat race. I totally agree with him because I could now attribute the times when I have been involved in the rat race to the problem of identity. \n\nIdentity is simply who you are. It’s your distinct personality. The truth is that you are who you are for a purpose and it’s expedient that you live out who you are created to be. Clashes, stresses, strains etc and other attributes of the rat race exist when you tend to live to be another person. Rather than trying to be another person, be the best that God wants you to be. John the Baptist did not fail to let those who care to know that he was not Christ and that He was satisfied with who he is and what he is doing (John 1:19-27; 3:23-30). He made plain who he was. It’s imperative that you also know who you are not and who you are. You are unique!!! And wonderful made in his own image.\n\nThere are people that are to be blessed because of your uniqueness. You possibly will miss them if you are trying to be another person. Keep up with the way you are shaped and endeavour to be the best of who you are. You don’t have to excuse mediocrity for the sake of who you are. When you live the way God has created you, you will consequently be a channel of blessing to others. You have to be intentional about being a blessing to others. As much as it lies within your capacity, always make it your pursuit to help others. \n\nThe main reason why we help and bless others is because it is our nature not because we want others to help us in return. Our nature in Christ enables us to be channels of blessing to others. When we live out who we are, we are blessed in return. (1John 3:16-18). “And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.” (1 John 3:23). Believe in Christ and live out the life of Christ\n\nLet’s keep praying for each other. I await your comments, questions and contributions.
