As dynamic sports I understand all sports that have multidimensional movements, multiple techniques, need coordination (body, muscle), flexibility and some sort of tactic or strategy. Basically all ball and playing sports, martial arts, some winter sports (ice hockey, snowboarding not so much nordic skiing). I don’t know about endurance sports (running, swimming) which have a high repetition of just a small repertoire of techniques or bodybuilding. \n\n## My background\nI’m 31 years old, and in my life I learned and taught different sports (soccer, ice hockey, boxing, Krav Maga, surfing, snowboarding). I never made it professional and got to absolute  top level. But I did a lot of different sports and learned them quickly. \nI do hold a B license as a soccer coach. As most boys in Germany i started playing soccer age 5 and played on a fairly good level. With 16 I had sports hernia and surgerys on both sides, missing for almost 2-years, ending any further ambition in soccer. I played on till my early 20ies, when I suffered a broken foot I switched to ice hockey in winter and martial arts in summer - and become fairly good, though I couldn’t even ice skate. So I realized I did something right, and researched a little to understand what it was to outperform guys that played ice hockey for way longer and had the same training than i did. This is what I learned. \n\n## Flexibility, Core & Hip Rotation and Coordination\nThe most amateurs just do their training, and it doesn’t contain enough coordination, core and flexibility training. \nAdd stretching, core training and coordination just twice a week helps a lot. \n![stretching-3098228_1920.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmUWb5cA8GxBdccaAWaFB4v9fBGDe6EmBcfkrxYJyQehrJ/stretching-3098228_1920.jpg)\n\n**Stretching**\nFor stretching, you can either download a app and add 10 mins of stretching to your morning routine, or you stretch before/after the training though it’s not ideal. Usually the best it to have a little mobilization before the training, and for a training on the evening it‘s best to stretch on the next morning. It’s more practical to simply stretch after the training, you don’t need an extra warmup and shower afterwards so this is what I do. \n\n**Core & Hip rotation**\nAlmost all movements need core strength and hip rotation. Just 2 or 3 times 15 min. of core training can add a lot to your strength and mobility. I use planking variations and hip mobility drills from Marc Versteg (Core Performance, http://amzn.to/2IhbNFn ). You can find plenty of videos on youtube also. \n\n**Coordination**\nRope skipping is a great way to improve your coordination. Training with a agility ladder for just 10 minutes twice a week had an impressive impact on the youth team I was coaching. The cost of an agility ladder and a skip rope is low, and it can be even made at home. \nAdd 10 minutes of rope skipping and running coordination with the agility ladder has great impact. \nIn total, that’s just 30 mins. for stretching, core, hip and coordination training. Most of your teammates and neither your competition are willing to put that little extra effort in, which leave this a great leverag for you. Also, this addition to your training will prevent injuries, and in general flexibility, core strength and hip rotation are vastly underrated for any sport and movement. \nJust go to your training 15 mins. earlier for coordination and spend 15 mins. after. If you make it a routine, it will be easy.\n\n\n## Train Techniques Dry and in mind,Deconstruct skills, technique variation\nTo learn a new skill break it down in smallest moves to better understand them. Find that critical part of a technique, which is the minimal input/dose. Then practice those small moves and fit them together. From there, varriate your training and try. There’s some research showing variation brings better training results as repetition of the same drill. \nResearch is also showing that even thinking about how a movement is done, results in a training effect. So effen just thinking about doing a move/technique helps to become better. \nAlso dry training is important. For ice hockey, you train your stickhandling dry, also your skating move. For surfing, turns and cutbacks can be trained dry. It also helps to group movements and link them to keywords, so the whole technique consists out of a easy to remember set of keywords.\n\n\n## Fail in training \nMany guys train on the border, always varriate their training to the point they fail. As an example, Kitesurf pro Julian Hosp did train very complex moves so his training mainly consists of jumpes followed by crashes. If you don’t fail in training, you are not pushing your limits enough, training in your comfort zone is not as efficient as on the edge. \n\n\n## Vision, breathing, situation recognition, tactic behavior\nIn game sports tactics play a very important role and players with a good understanding of the game can compensate a lot. \nA underrated point is the recognition of a situation. You can train your eyes for a better vision to recognize new situations quickly or follow the ball/puck better. \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQ3ki1dCcnw\nSurfers and free divers train their breathing to hold their breath longer underwater. Surprisingly, I noticed that training did also help a lot for Krav Maga and ice hockey. \n\n## Watching pros the different way \nWhile you mates may watch the game with a beer and focus on the ball, you should watch the player without the ball. Study their behavior, when they recognize situations, how they react. Try to play the game yourself, what will he do, what would you do? \nWatch how pros play your position and try to adapt their behavior. \nAlso, watch their training and imitate them. What you see in television is the result of years of effort on top level. They don't show the harsh path that got them there!\n\nI hope these things help you to step up your game and hope you implement some. Google, Tesla and others are developing self driving cars, threatening a lot of jobs in logistics (e.g. truck- & taxi drivers). Online sales channels and e-commerce business models did already replace many positions in offline sales and stores. \nServices like banking and insurance are standardized and digitized so bank and insurance branches are mostly obsolete already - with all it’s employees. So are we all close to being unemployed?\n\nSo far technical development had always lead to the disappearance of certain tasks and jobs. Most of them got replaced by others - instead of working on a farm and growing food, people moved into cities and built cars or worked in services. Chances are high it is the same this time, also robots have to be developed and built, software has to be written and so on. Jobs usually don’t disappear, they change to others with higher requirements in terms of education. \n\nLet’s take a look on AI today. It’s great performing very specific tasks like playing chess or go. But to replace humans it needs major steps in terms of creativity, utility and versatility - and it’s questionable if neuronal networks can replace humans at all. \nEducation has to pick this up and strengthen human behavior, especially the ability to solve problems, creativity and all where computers and machines are weak. \nThe ability to recognize a issue, combine available resources and come up with a solution is unmatched by machines so far. \nToday’s education systems are still focused on producing 19th century workers - teach them to read, some math, so they can read instructions and calculate, to work employed at the Ford factory. These are the fields, we will lose against machines. Instead we need to focus on developing the personal unique interests and tendencies, the fields each individuum want to deep dive and the creativity to come up with new solutions and ideas. Auch Roboter müssen entworfen werden, Software muss geschrieben werden, usw. Die Jobs fallen nicht weg, sie werden andere, in der Regel haben sie einen höheren Anspruch an die Bildung.  Es gibt gute Gründe zu der Annahme das es auch dieses Mal wieder so sein wird. \n\nBetrachten wir AI aktuell, so sehen wir noch viel Entwicklungsarbeit. Um die Menschen wirklich ersetzen zu können fehlt es noch gewaltig an Vielseitigkeit, Kreativität und Problemlösungsfähigkeit, und es ist fraglich ob es auch mit den heute verwendeten neuronalen Netzen wirklich möglich ist den Menschen zu ersetzen oder zu modellieren. \nHier muss der Mensch ansetzen, und die Bildung auf genau diese Punkte ausrichten. Die Flexibilität, die Fähigkeit beliebiges zu Kombinieren und somit neues zu schaffen, ein Problem unter erkennen der aktuellen Lage mit vorhandenen Ressourcen lösen - alles das sind Punkte in denen Maschinen heute scheitern. Die eigenen Interessen zu finden und sich mit einer eigenen Vorstellung an Themen heran zu wagen kann heute noch keine AI. Wir mögen im Schach, GO oder Pokern gegen AI verlieren. Doch außer dieser sehr spezifischen Aufgabe ist sie leider noch nicht zu viel nutze. \nLeider agieren die meisten Bildungssysteme bis heute noch immer unter den Prämissen aus dem 19 Jhdt. anstatt sich auf die Dinge zu fokussieren die das Menschsein ausmachen. \nDie eigene Neigung zu entdecken, der Kreativität freien lauf zu lassen, die eigene Persönlichkeit zu entwickeln. Angesichts der digitalen Transformation werden sich in Zukunft sicherlich immer mehr Möglichkeiten ergeben, flexibler und ortsunabhängiger zu arbeiten. Es liegt an jeder/jedem einen individuellen Weg zu finden und so zu dem Wandel beizutragen. Das dieser Wandel nicht einfach und schnell von statten geht, liegt auf der Hand. Arbeiten in Coworking Spaces auf der ganzen Welt, oder am Strand mit dem Laptop. Die Systeme sind digitalisiert und automatisiert, das Geld klimpert von selbst auf das Konto. Alles was man braucht ist Internet, ein Bankkonto, und stilecht, ein Selfie mit Kokosnuss auf Instagram, damit die Bürohengste Zuhause auch wissen wie der Hase läuft.\nSo oder so ähnlich stellen sich die meisten das Leben als Digitaler Nomade vor. Schlimmer, genauso verkaufen zahlreiche Digitale Nomaden ihren Lebensstil.\n\n## Der Traum vom ortsunabhängigen arbeiten\n\nDie Wahl des Jobs und des Arbeits - und damit meist auch Lebensorts ist eine wichtige Entscheidung, die wohl bedacht sein sollte.\nHier trifft man oft auf einen gravierenden Irrtum: Denn zum arbeiten eignet sich der Strand nur bedingt, es sei denn man ist Obsthändler oder Surflehrer.\nMit dem Laptop am Strand sitzen scheitert meistens schon aufgrund der Internetverbindung, am Diebstahlrisiko, Sonnenlicht und Sand - neben dem das es dort bessere Dinge zu tun gibt als E-Mails zu schreiben.\n\nSpricht man mit vielen Digitalen Nomaden, so steht primär aber nicht der Wunsch nach Arbeiten in Bali, San Diego, Tariffa oder Marokko sondern vor allem der Wunsch weniger zu arbeiten. Die Büros dieser Welt unterscheiden sich tatsächlich erstaunlich wenig, man muss nur ein paar vielreisende Geschäftsleute fragen. Der Strand in Thailand lohnt sich nur, wenn man auch Zeit findet sich diesem zu widmen.\nUnzweifelhaft spielt hier Tim Ferris Buch 4-Hour Work Week eine Rolle - dieser hat wohl in seinem Leben noch nie eine Arbeitswoche von 4 Stunden gehabt, und nennt heute gefragt nach dem  größten Fehler an dem Buch den Titel.\nMan kann in der heutigen Zeit durch das clevere nutzen von Systemen und skalierbaren automatisierten Prozessen tatsächlich enormen Output erreichen ohne immer mehr Arbeitszeit investieren zu müssen. Doch es sollte klar sein, das die Arbeitszeit nicht beliebig verringert werden kann und das eine 4 Hour Work Week die Seltenheit ist.\nDieser Wunsch nach weniger arbeit ist berechtigt und am Ende ist die Arbeitszeit eine persönliche Entscheidung. Nur führt weniger Arbeitszeit zu einer geringeren Produktivität, und zu weniger Ergebnissen. Oft trägt auch das eher gemütliche Leben an den Traum Destinationen und die einhergehenden Herausforderungen wie Arbeitsplatzsuche, stabiles schnelles Internet, etc. zu einem geringeren Output bei.\nOnline arbeiten\n\nTatsächlich erfordern viele Jobs eine Präsenz-  an einem Arbeitsplatz oder an einem Gut, eine Abstimmung im Team. Sicher können mit cleveren Lösungen und digitaler Kommunikation viel Dinger ortsunabhängig erledigt werden. Doch ein Großteil der Jobs erfordert eine Anwesenheit an einem bestimmten Ort.\nWenn der eigene Job nicht ortsunabhängig gestaltet werden kann, wird oft versucht in einen nomaden fähigen Job zu wechseln.\n\n## Nachhaltigkeit des digitalen Nomaden Lebensstils\n\nUnd so versuchen viele den Einstieg in das Nomadentum als Virtuelle Assistenz, Social Media Influencer, Coach oder (Reise)Blogger. Am Ende ist man damit aber nicht unabhängiger, im Gegenteil. An die Aufträge und Arbeitszeiten des Vertragspartners gebunden muten viele Digitale Nomaden oft eher als Scheinselbstständige an - zum Mindestlohn, versteht sich.\nVon 1000€ im Monat durch Auftragsarbeit oder Affiliate Einnahmen mag sich in Bali oder Thailand durchaus ein angenehmes Leben finanzieren lassen. Nachhaltig ist es nicht. Nach meiner Beobachtung verpassen viele Nomaden den Vermögensaufbau und Rücklagen bilden für das Alter, vergessen dass sie als Angestellter in Deutschland für ihre Steuern und Abgaben auch eine sehr hohe Versicherungsleistung erhalten und leben von der Hand in den Mund.\nNatürlich sind in einem Preisumfeld wie in Indonesien 1000€ eine hohe Summe. Es ist jedoch nicht ohne Grund so, das die meisten Menschen aufgrund der Rechtssicherheit und der besseren Versorgung in Hochlohnländern wohnen wollen. Ist man in einem solchen aufgewachsen, sollte man die Möglichkeit haben, dies auch wieder zu tun. Dafür braucht es finanzielle Rücklagen. Wenn man also 1000€ verdient, sollten es besser 3000€ in Wahrheit aber 5000€ sein, den am Ende ist man nur einen schwereren Verkehrsunfall von einem Ticket ins Heimatland entfernt.\n\n## Der Trick den Digital Nomade Lifestyle zu verkaufen\n\nGefühlt hat ein Großteil der Digitalen Nomaden den eigenen Lifestyle zum Business gemacht - mit fragwürdigen Versprechen und Methoden wird der eigene Lifestyle als erstrebenswert verkauft. In Wahrheit ist finanziert aber der Verkauf des Lifestyles den Lifestyle. Oft werden Coachings, Videoprogramme, Kurse oder andere Virtuelle Produkte verkauft, deren Ziel es ist von einem erstrebenswerten Lifestyle zu schwärmen und den Weg dahin aufzuzeigen. Zahlreiche Produkte sind um Digitale Nomaden entstanden, es gibt sogar eigene Konferenzen.\nDas Problem ist die fehlende Aufrichtigkeit - es ist weder leicht noch einfach ein Business aufzubauen, und von unterwegs ist es gleich doppelt schwer. Die meisten dieser Lifestyle Produkte enthalten einen Haufen Informationen, sind positiv gestaltet doch es fehlt ein wirklicher Nutzen. In Wahrheit sind diese Infoprodukte der Grund, das die vertreibende Person den Lifestyle leben kann, den sie dann für Geld anderen propagiert.\nDiese Masche gab es schon immer, vermutlich wird es sie auch immer geben. Nur macht es Sinn und ist es legitim in dem eigenen Streben nach Freiheit und Unabhängigkeit die andere zu finanzieren? Zuminderstens moralisch finden sich einige Positionen dagegen.\n\n## Der Weg zum Ausbruch\n\nOrtsunabhängig arbeiten zu können ist durchaus erstrebenswert, keine Frage - leider nur nicht für jeden. Vielmehr sollte man sich damit befassen, einen für sich passenden Lifestyle zu finden. Ein fester Job und 3 Monate unbezahlen Urlaub während den Wintermonaten erlauben einem ziemlich viel von der Welt zu sehen und auch länger an einem Ort zu wohnen. Wenn man ein eigenes Geschäft aufgebaut hat und dieses solide läuft, kann man sich anschauen wie es zu automatisieren und zu digitalisieren ist.\nSollte man garkeine Idee und keine Rücklagen haben, finde ich es sinnvoll erst einmal die Rücklagen aufzubauen und sich währenddessen zu überlegen wie man sich selbst ortsunabhängig finanzieren kann.\nViele Jobs lassen sich z.b. als Freelancer ausüben. Gute Developer können in 3-6 Monaten in einem Hochlohnland genug verdienen, um mit genügend Puffer in Thailand oder Indonesien wie Könige leben zu können. Das selbe bietet sich mit Projektarbeit oder Interimsmanagement an.\nViele Jobs in der Digitalbranche eignen sich für die Arbeit von Unterwegs.\nVorher sollte man sich jedoch gründlich überlegen, ob man überhaupt an Orten arbeiten kann, an denen andere Urlaub machen und ob man die nötige Disziplin hat dort auch produktiv zu sein.\n\nMein persönliches Gefühl ist, das auch im Digitalen Nomadentum nicht alles Gold ist was glänzt. Viele Digitale Nomaden sind von ihrem Finanzbedarf getrieben, nicht aufgrund der eigenen Überzeugung. Denn braucht es denn 983. Reiseblog wirklich? Oder sind sie als Virtueller Assistent wirklich freier und unabhängiger?\nViele Projektarbeiter und Freelancer können sich Auszeiten nehmen. Doch wirklich frei Leben diejenigen, die den Digitalen Nomaden Lifestyle als erstrebenswert für andere verkaufen. But the further the development goes and the more bitcoins are mined, the merrier my view becomes: Bitcoin has to die. \nIt’s not that I’m a pessimist or hater on Bitcoin. I do admit it was (or probably still is) a great development.  To make a blockchain somewhat failsafe, create the whole system to be trustworthy, establish a allocating method which is somewhat fair - at least it won’t stop people from investing. It’s a great piece of tech, not perfect of course, but a huge step. \nEconomically it will fail.\n\nUsually the technology which is wasting the least amount of ressources win - the most efficient technology to effectively solve a issue. \nBitcoin is neither efficient nor effective. And this should cause it’s decline. \nEfficiency is the input needed to fulfill a specific task. I don’t need to explain why huge mining pools using expensive graphic processors to randomly generating nonces and checking if the hash function is valid is a huge waste of resources. It consumes power, needs investment and it’s just a poor method to calculate terms that don’t have any use. This computing power is actually not even useful for the blockchain itself.\nIt could be done much easier and more efficient without a “proof of work”. \nEfficacy is the ability to get a job done. And though the lightning network is in charge now bitcoin is still a somewhat poor currency - and it might never chance. \nA lot has been written on this already, so in short it’s the functions of money which are violated by bitcoin.  It’s not a medium of exchange (yet), it isn’t a store of value (volatility!) and neither it’s a unit of account. Together with it’s deflationary caracter and the usual obsolescence of technology bitcoin has to die. \nLike with all living it’s rather the questions when and how it will sink, and what it will do in its lifespan.",

      "body": "Hi, thank you. The waves there were defenitly better then my surfing skills. I'm still learning a lot in surfing, I just started a few years ago. \nI have kind of an unfair advantage though: I'm doing sports since I'm 5 years. I played soccer on a high level during my youth, then switched to ice hockey, did do boxing and Krav Maga in the summer when we don't have ice in Germany. \nSo I'm able to learn new sports quite quickly. \n\nSurfing is a whole different kind of animal though. Needs a lot of knowledge about the sea, waves, wind, etc.",
