      "body": "I'll share my 2 major dreams, that i can't seem to shake off and do not intend to shake off.... someday soon they will become my reality, i guess😊.\n\n1) I dream constantly of moving to the Costa Del Sol. \nAt the moment i visit a couple of times every year, but it's still not enough. I want to live there for the most part of the year. For many years, i couldn't do so, because of my work in London. Then a window of opportunity finally came, but i got an appointment to serve my fatherland and i had to shelve the relocation again. The nagging desire to relocate to Spain has been my main motivation for establishing a digital business that is not location-specific.. that i can run from anywhere. Every time i visit Andalucia, i feel like all the cares in the world are taken away at the point of entry at Malaga airport. Such beauty and serenity can only be good for the soul.😍\n\n2) I have always dreamed of executing a property development project abroad.... not just buying a property like i have dabbled into a few times, but actually developing from scratch.... conceive and execute. I have put together a presentation for a residential villa development on the beautiful Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas. I watch my presentation every now and then, and i know it is only a matter of when, not if.🤞👀\n\nDon't stop dreaming folks. If you can conceive it, it is doable. Don't get so caught up in day to day, that you find yourself merely existing. We weren't created to merely exist. Keep dreaming and keep taking baby steps towards your dreams.\n\nShare your dreams with me.       "body": "The other day, I sent my 17 yr old son to pay some money into 2 bank accounts. The 2 accounts were domiciled at 2 different banks. He went about it diligently and then called me on the phone afterwards to confirm it was sorted. \n\nHe goes on to tell me how he thinks it's ridiculous that banks don't have an interconnecting system, that would allow them transaction across, with each other, via a common platform. In simple terms, he wondered why he can't walk into a Santander bank and make a deposit into, not just a Santander account, but into a Lloyds one as well? \n\nThat moment for me, was a beautiful one. I witnessed the curiosity and 'impatience' of a young brilliant mind. Their curiosity and impatience with slow, traditional systems, is sure to bring greater innovation to the world. Watch that space... that day will come very soon, when the process my son questioned, will be a thing of the past. \n\nIf you are a custodian of a young person, feed their mind with the right content, nurture them, encourage their curiosity, prepare them to face their future fearlessly.       "body": "Politicians have indeed become the perpetrators of many atrocities across the world. However, i think the professionals involved the rehabilitation of the building, safety checks etc, all have a bigger share of the blame. \n\nFor example, i am an accountant and i worked in government organisations and highly political environments for many years. There were times when politicians or political appointees would come in and try to influence my work, for one political reason or another, but the onus was on me, to tell them it was impossible to do things that way, as it went against every accounting principle in the book. Once or twice they initially kicked up a storm, but i would stand my ground and over time they learned to respect my professional opinion.\n\nIn the event a politician cuts costs, the professionals owed it to their conscience and the people to speak up, by refusing to do the job with items that were dangerous for inhabitants of the building. \n\nMany politicians can't tell the difference between a Mercedes and a BMW, talk less of expecting them to know what fire-resistant cladding it. That is too technical.  If we have more professionals sticking with the rules or guidelines of their knowledge and profession, some of such disasters can be avoided in the future.",
