      "body": "It's been a really long while since I posted last and was thinking I'd share some of what I've been up to.\n\n<div class='pull-right'>\nhttps://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/deadsparrow/AJbhZGGCitnjLN6NAa7MJxhjP1uUYjUedt5bseaor2WDQMu8hvnK1JkWC5EFrt3.png\n</div>\nI've trying to learn 3D sculpting on Zbrush and it's been a really steep learning curve, as specially since I'm going DIY.\n\nIt's really difficult learning this stuff because most of the road blocks you'll experience are due to a lack of definitional industry jargon that's taken for granted in onliner beginner introductions and courses. At every point, you have to stop and find out what a term means and most explanations assume a lot about a beginners understanding of industry language. Eg. Remesh, retopo, UVs etc.\n\nIt's like everyone can't be bothered. I seem to do better than normal during market turns like these, monetarily speaking, not so much emotionally or psychologically. That will always be trash. Driven to birth it but resist at every point of the experience. This was the case when I was working on this and at times I felt like just abandoning the whole thing.       "body": "Hello, Folks.\n\nI am really bad at painting or even drawing sketched landscapes. I've been trying to avoid doing them for a while now. But I'm at a point where they're unavoidable. Atmospheric perspective.\n2. Texture.\n3. And value and hue relations. \n\nI gained some ground as far as knowledge of my blind spots is concerned. But I still have a lot to learn. I've put aside a day per week to try and tackle the challenges. Maybe that's not enough time for study but I learn better with less time because I can basically plan for that one day and reflect on that one day's challenge. I'm not trying to be the god of landscapes.       "body": "Hello, Folks.\n\nDoes anyone else have an instant of energy to explore some ideas and then drops them as suddenly as when they came?\n\nNot that I've abandoned these or anything like that.       "body": "Hello, Folks.\n\nSo much for consistency. I really do try to do more apart from paintings and studying but I work really slow and just suck at multitasking. And I've been trying to market my art and brand on Twitter and other platforms on top of that, meaning having to learn what strategies are best for me. I painted this self-portrait using an impressionist style. I often do these to keep painting but also to take a break from my main occupation.\n\nSomeone asked me why a paint in two styles and my answer was \"why not?\". The whole thing with art is the varied forms of expression one is free to deploy and communicate themselves. Why narrow your scope to one style with one subject matter. The world is too big to not explore as much of it as possible.\n\nI don't think I've uploaded any likeness of me on Hive.
