      "body": "**WARNING: Do not enter PASSWORDS or sensitive information online this weekend through at least January 9.** The computer industry is scrambling to patch a viewport (so to speak) to code running through servers and your own laptop and devices. Info came out on **YouTube Crypto Channels** a day ago but seems to be unavailable now. Media is silent except for official announcements at Intel and Google and perhaps others (links below). [This is not I.T. advice and I am NOT an I.T. professional - Information Technologist]. \n\nWhat has happened (as I understand): **Google Project Zero** looks for vulnerabilities, on-going, and found three ways to see machine code translated to human-readable text on most modern processors and supposedly since the very earliest designs. It turns out, your processor gets bored waiting for you to decide what to click, so it runs ahead with **\"speculative execution\"** on all your options. It may open your passwords in advance and leave the data sitting in memory whether you choose that path or not. Pretty smart for performance. \n\nHowever, diagnostic tools can be used to read that data while your operating system has no clue; it's running above that level (as I understand). The tools to access are being called **MELTDOWN and SPECTRE, Spectre being based on \"Speculative Execution\".** They are not exactly viruses. Someone has to be able to get in to the server or hack into your computer while you are online. More about the danger of this will come out daily. Tuesdays are normal to roll-out patches and updates and official announcements are scheduled for January 9. For now, all I am saying is: **AVOID USING PASSWORDS, doing online banking, or trading crypto, stocks or sharing social security numbers, etc.** \n\nThere are two scenarios as I see it. \n\n**#1. Google found the side door, but how many hackers have known for years?**  As soon as you get your patches and updates installed, go change all your passwords. Be thinking NOW what your new stronger passwords will be but don't go online to change yet. WHY? \n\n**#2.       "body": "A scammer used my profile pics to scam women. A female I.T. professional in Europe was suspicious and searched for the source of MY photos and found the real me. This guy (or group) was from Nigeria she found out and he tried to get her to meet in Dubai and help him with a $30,000 crisis. She and I are very close now.       "body": "You know, personally, I like reading the NLT more than any of them.  My study Bible is NLT and half the page is scripture while the other half is material that provides details about the time/place/circumstances and asks questions to provoke meditation on the scripture.  I don't feel like the meaning behind the passages is changed.  Another invaluable tool in the \"checksum\" toolbox is YouVersion.  It's nice to be able to parallel verses instantly to see if my interpretation of what I feel like the Spirit is speaking aligns with the way others have interpreted the message.  What concerns me more than variations of the original texts is all the \"hard forks.\" The catholic church turning ministry into the world's richest entity while the poor are starving, the sick are dying, and a large population of people don't even have clean water to drink.. Instead of doing what The Lord commanded, they do the same thing the pharisees did that The Lord spoke out against.  And then we can talk about the Muslims and what a nightmare their additional instructions have caused globally.  How about John Smith and his self-serving revelation of having multiple wives.  The church of scientology, that rejects psychology as a science... that's a real winner...lol..  I think the biggest mistake that mankind has made regarding the scripture is using it as a looking glass for everyone else, when it's designed to be a mirror.  It starts off that God created Adam in His Image...If we read the teachings of Christ and it doesn't make us feel guilty for living a comfortable lifestyle or makeus want to reach out to someone from the distant past to apologize for the pain we brought into their life from our own sin... It doesn't matter what translation we read.  Love God above all else, and love your fellow man more than yourself.  God annointed His one and only begotten Son with all the miracles in the world and gave Him all the wisdom to explain how to live in communion with one another in terms a fisherman or a farmer could understand.. and if The Lord was to come in the flesh again today, He could stand on the street corner preaching across the street from a megachurch on a Sunday and they would go inside and crack jokes about the crazy homeless man across the street shouting for them to give all of their money away, because it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Gates of Heaven.",
