title*THE ORIGIN, ESSENCE AND SPIRITUAL IMPLICATIONS OF VALENTINE DAY:*
bodyDuring the third century, an oppressive Roman Emperor called Emperor Claudius II had made it a capital punishment (death) to worship and serve Christ. He had decreed the Romans to serve and worship his gods, and deprived the young Roman soldiers of getting married. But an elderly Christian had stood his ground for his faith and had insisted on serving Jesus Christ and preaching the love of God to the young soldiers. This was considered treason against the government. He was arrested, sentenced to death and jailed. In the last weeks of his life in the prison, the jailer (prison commander) who observed that he was very learned and possessed very good Christian character, brought his blind daughter to him to be giving her lessons. He taught her about God and told her many Roman histories and stories from the Bible. He taught her the love of God. The blind girl got so used to the elderly Christian prisoner. On his last night he left a note for Julia, the blind girl, encouraging her to love God and serve Him. And in ending the note, he wrote: *"From your Valentine"*. His death sentence was carried out the next day, February 14, 270 A.D. *The name of this martyr was Valentinus*, a man who died for standing for the preaching of the Christ and teaching people about the love of God. So, for his love for God, he was regarded as 'Saint'. Archaeologists have unearthed a Roman catacomb; an ancient church dedicated to Saint Valentine. During 496 AD, the Pope marked February 14 as celebration in honor of his martyrdom. *February 14, is known as Valentine Day. But the essence of Valentine Day historically was a celebration in honor of the martyrdom of a devoted preacher, Valentinus, who stood on his faith in Christ against the devilish idolatry decrees of a Godless Emperor.* *He preached Christ to the Roman soldiers and spread the love for God and humanity when it was a crime to do so. The day he was martyred was declared "Valentine Day". February 14, 270 AD.* *However, the devil has rewritten history today.* All over the world, the history has successfully been erased and rewritten the way the devil wanted. *The reason for the DAY has been blotted out from people's memory and a minor aspect of the whole story had been blown beyond proportion.* The little card note Valentinus had left behind for Julia, his young beloved convert, whom he taught, preached to and prayed for, had ended with: "From Your Valentine". *On February 14, in the year 270.AD, somebody died for Christ and is now in Heaven, but on February 14, 2017, several people will die spiritual death.* The Destinies of several young men and girls will be aborted that day, because the devil had changed the reason for the Valentine Day celebrations. He had rubbed off living and dying for Christ and replaced it with living and dying on the bed of immorality. *That day, many young girls and ladies will give their virginity away for a gift of phones, ipads, bags, clothes, and even valueless gifts as little as chocolate, sweet, fried chickens and plates of pepper-soup and salad.* *By the evening of this year Feb 14, demons of fornication and adultery will invade our streets and storm our night clubs and hotels to take register of those who are dying soon of STDs, including new candidates who are going to contact HIV and AIDS.* *On Feb 14 this year, forces of evil are coming down on adulterated Valentine Day to possess people with the spirit of Rape and drug abuse.* Imagine the amount of pregnancy preventive drugs and materials that shall be sold. Harlots will sell that day. There will be Christian backsliders that day.... BECAUSE SOME GLORIOUS DESTINIES WILL BE ABORTED ON VALENTINE DAY. *The story of Reuben, Genesis 35:21-22a:* 21. Then Israel journeyed and pitched his tent beyond the tower of Eder. 22. And it happened, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine; and Israel heard about it. A strange spirit came upon Reuben, the first born of Jacob, and he went and slept with his father's young wife. Israel heard about it and said nothing. Nothing was heard about it again for many years, and we never heard that Reuben asked for forgiveness or repented or became sober about it and the matter died just like that. Really? So many events came over it, nobody mentioned it again. He went with the rest of Jacob's children to Egypt; he saw the glories of Egypt. He was welcomed into the palace of Joseph and ate with him in the royal palace. He grew and had many children and everything was going fine for him till the day their father would say the last prayers for them and give them his final decree. At the point of death, whatever he said was final for life. He gathered them together for the final blessing and began to bless them all. But he began with Reuben, the first son, who was to be the heir who should carry the highest blessings among the children. The record was opened to his long forgotten atrocity. He thought it had been swept under the carpet. He thought he was smart and he had had a simple fun. But his father opened his mouth for his final blessing and said: Gen. 49:3-4 (NKJV) 3. “Reuben, you are my firstborn, My might and the beginning of my strength, The excellency of dignity and the excellency of power. 4. Unstable as water, you shall not excel, Because you went up to your father’s bed; Then you defiled it—He went up to my couch. Though he was the beginning of Jacob's strength, he was supposed to be an epitome of Excellency of dignity and power. He was to be naturally blessed and was born to be a man of natural dignity and power, but....HIS DESTINY WAS ABORTED the day he had "fun" with his father's young wife. So, his own verdict was: *"You shall not Excel"* from a man who was anointed to proclaim a final verdict on the Sons of Israel. Reuben was destined to be a royal dignified personality above his siblings, but for that single night of 'fun' with that woman. Many people will have a lot of lustful funs on Feb 14, and wake up Feb 15 morning as normal, but the truth is: *long after a very hot pressing iron had been disconnected from the power source; it would still be hot for a while, until it begins to grow cold. Some power cable would be disconnected from the power source of some people on Feb 14.* Some young men and women will place their entire life virtues and destinies in the hand of marine agents that night. Feb 14 evening is a 'Night of Fun', when many men and ladies will slaughter their destinies on the bed of lustful pleasure. By Feb 15 morning it is done! Destiny Auctioned to a young man or a lady whose future has been mortgaged to the devil. If Joseph had had a fun with Potiphar’s wife, he would never have got to the palace to see the type of Glory he saw. He escaped that trap which would have aborted his destiny on which so many lives in Egypt and Canaan land, including the lives of his generation unborn depended upon. There is a great story in *Proverbs 7:6-27*. It is a sad story of a young man on his own "Valentine Night". He had thought he wanted to have a fun that night, he had thought he wanted to enjoy himself, but crashed his future in a night of fun. *Proverbs 7:21-23* 21. With her enticing speech she caused him to yield, With her flattering lips she seduced him. 22. Immediately he went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, Or as a fool to the correction of the stocks, 23. Till an arrow struck his liver. As a bird hastens to the snare, He did not know it would cost his life. I beg every child of God reading this post to send it to their loved ones especially all those whom they know have not known the true meaning of Valentine Day so that their destinies could be preserved for their glorious future.       "body": "During the third century, an oppressive Roman Emperor called Emperor Claudius II had made it a capital punishment (death) to worship and serve Christ.\nHe had decreed the Romans to serve and worship his gods, and deprived the young Roman soldiers of getting married.\n\nBut an elderly Christian had stood his ground for his faith and had insisted on serving Jesus Christ and preaching the love of God to the young soldiers. This was considered treason against the government. He was arrested, sentenced to death and jailed. And in ending the note, he wrote: *\"From your Valentine\"*.\n\nHis death sentence was carried out the next day, February 14, 270 A.D. *The name of this martyr was Valentinus*, a man who died for standing for the preaching of the Christ and teaching people about the love of God.\n\nSo, for his love for God, he was regarded as 'Saint'.\nArchaeologists have unearthed a Roman catacomb; an ancient church dedicated to Saint Valentine. During 496 AD, the Pope marked February 14 as celebration in honor of his martyrdom.\n\n*February 14, is known as Valentine Day. bodyETIQUETTE OF FRIENDSHIP RELATIONSHIP (101) The etiquette of a long lasting friendship is as simple as doing unto others what you would want them do back to you, and won't be hungry. You need to be; 1. BE SELECTIVE IN ASSOCIATION You are totally responsibie for the friends you choose, no one chose them for you. Everyone can't and shouldn't be your friend. 2. DON'T OVER HYPE Your friend is not God, but human being just like you, which means such person is liable to make mistakes just like you. 3. DON'T DISCUSS WHAT YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO BE LEAKED Not everyone can handle and keep top secrets, they may not leak it intentional or to hurt you, yet it may be leaked. Don't forget that, your worst enemy may become your best friend and your best friend, may become your enemy. So, mind and watch what you say about you and your family to your friends, because the secrets you reveal to them today, will be what some friends will use to insult you tomorrow, in case there is misunderstanding. So, if you must break up with people, break up in peace. 4. DON'T IMPOSE YOURSELF Friendship is a choice, not by force. Don't impose yourself upon anyone to become your friend or in friendship, stay in whichever position of friendship they put you. Let there be mutual understanding of either being a casual friend or intimate friend. Don't be bossy. 5. DON'T IMPRESS Don't impress people to become your friend or to sustain your friendship with them. Let them know your weaknesses and strengths, then freely make the choice to either be your friend or not. Be accepted not managed. 6. BE READY TO COMPROMISE In all relationships, you can't but compromise a little bit, because your friend has flaws just like you do, so there will surely be things or times you will just have to overlook or consent to somethings for the sake of sanity, maturity and true friendship. Let your friends be able to talk to you, perhaps to influence or change your mind. 7. DON'T LEND WHAT YOU CAN'T FOREGO Money is one of the first categories of things that breaks promising friendship. Whatever money or things you can't forego to your partner, you shouldn't give, but nothing should be too big to give a true friend though, which is where compromise comes in. Before you lend, ask yourself, what if s\he fails to get or give it back, perhaps at the promised time. Also, don't take what you know you won't be able to refund or replace, that means alot to your friend and may not be able to forgive you for. 8. DON'T MOCK YOUR FRIEND Words are powerful, so choose to always encourage your friends and not disturb and destroy their spirit by mocking them, either in words or act. Don't ever use whatever you have done for them to mock them. 9. PROTECT AND DEFEND EACH OTHER You are who your friends are. If anyone belittle your friends by name calling or whatever way, the person is actually insulting you too, don't forget that word that says, "show me your friend and I will tell you who you are". So, don't allow people to ridicule your friends, and your friends will be glad to have you. 10. BE SUPPORTIVE Support your friends in every way possible. Support their dreams and goals in life. Whatever you do for your friends, is actually for your own good. With this, you can win a friend for life. 11. BE COMMUNICATIVE Nothing like relationship without communication, that is what makes it a relationship. For you to relate you have to communicate, and without communication there won't be understanding and getting to know more about each other. 12. ADVANCE FORGIVENESS A friend you are not enjoying but enduring is not worth being your friend, in the first place. A friend you endure you won't be able to forgive, but a friend you are enjoying, you will be able to forgive. No perfect being on earth, so to err is human and to forgive is necessary if such relationship must continue and grow. 13. FRIENDS INDEED Be the friend to you friend, and they also should be your friend, not a one sided relationship, it always boring and tiresome. Make sure the people you are calling your friends also sees you as their friend. 14. CELEBRATE YOUR FRIENDS Celebrate your friendship and don't forget to celebrate them on their important days, such as birthday, wedding, graduation and Co. 15. NO THIRD PARTY In as much as you wouldn't want your friends to go telling people about you, perhaps reporting you, keep their own secrets, a secret. Don't hear from outsider to judge your friend. 16. CHERISH ONE ANOTHER Value your friends. Let their presence and voices mean alot to you and yours to them. 17. NO SUPERIORITY OR INFERIORITY No matter the age difference, even if your third younger one is older then your friend, but that doesn't make you superior to him\her, or inferior to you. Friendship is partnership between two or more people who have agreed to be mates. 18. LOVE YOUR FRIEND Loving your friend is a must. A friend should be someone you can spend the rest of your life with, someone that loves and cares for you, as much as you do to him or her, which is one of the reasons it is advised that you marry your friend, because you can never be tired or have enough of your friend that you love. bodyEveryone wants to work out. But how many actually do? Working out is one of the most popular goals around. It is not just the top New Year’s Resolution: “stay fit and healthy” and “lose weight” are the top two resolutions. Of course, only 8% of people achieve their New Year’s Resolutions, and 50% of people that lose weight gain it back within 5 dreams. At the same time, fit people seem to stay fit effortlessly. When “life gets in the way,” some people fall off the bandwagon and give up. For others, working out becomes second nature. How can you get in the habit of working out, so that you don’t have to worry about skipping workouts? How to Get in the Habit of Working Out 1) Choose Small Actions You are just starting a workout routine. You are not going to be able to work out for three hours a day. Burnout is a huge problem when you are starting out. When starting an exercise routine, it’s easy to get excited and bite off more than you can chew. As Stanford psychologist BJ Fogg says , “the number one mistake people make is not going tiny enough.” If you can work out for 10 minutes every other day, you’re better off than you were before. Eventually, you can scale up. With a baseline habit established and time for workouts built into your routine, it will be much easier to up the effort. If you were building a house, you would start by pouring the concrete foundation instead of just building in the mud. Habits are no different. Establish your foundation through small actions. 2) Define Personally Important Goals Researchers agree: goal setting helps you put in more effort and stay motivated over time . But when you set goals, it’s important to do it correctly. You have probably heard of SMART (Specific, Measurable, Agreed Upon, Realistic, Time-bound) goals, and that’s a good place to start. It’s important for your goals to be as specific as possible; “lose 30 pounds in 3 months by eating home-cooked foods and exercising at a gym” is a better goal than just “lose weight.” But in addition to setting specific goals, it’s important that you know why your goals are important to you personally. Do you want to lose 30 pounds to feel more confident in yourself? To be healthier (and what does “healthy” mean for you)? To attract a partner? To fit into old clothes? How will your life change once you achieve your goal? Understanding your goal’s importance makes you more likely to follow through on it . 3) Define, and Plan for, Challenges Why do people think that they will be able to work out three hours a day, seven days a week? Too much excitement and optimism. It’s good if you’re excited about working out, but it’s also important to stay realistic. The planning fallacy is a very common cognitive bias, and highlights the facts that we (as humans) are bad at making plans because we don’t anticipate challenges that come up in the future. Have you ever thought “oh, I’ll do that next week when I have more time,” and then discover, next week, that you’re just as busy as always? Next week always seems emptier because it hasn’t filled up yet. But it always does. With working out, what will you do when you’re tired and hungry after work and just want to go home and eat dinner? What will you do when you show up to the gym and have no idea what workout to do? What will you do when you’re in bed on a Saturday, it’s raining, and you were supposed to work out? If you have no plan, it’s easy to do nothing. To skip the workout. To awkwardly stand around looking at the machines and leave. Thinking about these challenges when you start, and brainstorming some potential solutions, gives you a plan of action. You know that you will be tired and hungry after work. Everything will become easier. 5) Build Exercise into Your Existing Habits I’ve been working out for years, 3–4 times a week like clockwork. Working out on a Saturday is still hard. When I exercise after work, I just stay on the bus for two extra stops and am at the gym. I don’t have to think about it; I just go straight from the bus to the gym. I already have my gym clothes with me. On the weekend, there’s no structure to my schedule. I lie in bed until I feel like getting up, I click around on the internet until I feel like making food. Eventually I might go to the gym, but to do that requires getting dressed, getting out the door, making the trip from my apartment… There are too many decisions to make. Whenever you can, let your environment convince you to work out. Research shows that habits are easiest to form when they come after existing habits . After you complete a chain of actions (for example, your morning bathroom routine) there isn’t a clear next action to take. Adding a next action and extending the chain is an easy way to have your environment tell you what to do. You have dozens of existing habits already. When I wanted to start meditating, I built it into my morning routine—use bathroom, shave, brush teeth, shower, moisturize—and simply tacked it onto the end. What existing habits do you already have? Set up your schedule to let you go smoothly from one action to the next. 6) Don’t Do Things You Hate You would expect this to go without saying, but it never seems to. New exercisers often do things they hate because they think they are “supposed” to. If you hate running, don’t run! If you hate interval training, don’t do it! Once you have an established exercise habit, you can consider adding those things back in to see if your feelings towards them have changed (they often do). But there is no single correct or “necessary” exercise plan that everyone needs to follow. Along the same lines, don’t work yourself to the point of exhaustion every workout. When you’re starting out, feeling terrible after every workout is a great way to stop yourself from ever working out again. Do things you enjoy (or at least tolerate). There is zero truth in this. Not all women bleed the first time they have sex, as I'll explain in this post. To understand why some women bleed and some don't, it's very important to understand what the hymen is. The hymen is a membrane that tends to cover part of the vaginal opening (it does not always block or cover the entire vagina, as some people mistakenly think). NOT ALL WOMEN HAVE A HYMEN. The hymen also differs from woman to woman - like all women have different heights and weights and features, all women also have different amounts and types of hymen. Some women have thick hymens, some have very thin hymens, and some women have NO hymens at all. Some women have larger hymens, some women naturally have a very little amount of hymen that covers only a small portion of their vaginal opening (and hence does not really get in the way, during first-time sex). In addition to this, the hymen wears away on its own as you grow up. For most women, the hymen wears away on its own with exercise, bicycling, horseback riding -it can wear off with pretty much any other physical activity, even dancing! - or from using tampons when menstruating. Especially if the hymen is very small or thin, most of it tends to wear away on its own as a girl grows up. If a woman is born WITHOUT a hymen, she won't bleed the first time she has sex. If a woman has a small or thin hymen, she might not bleed the first time she has sex. If a woman's hymen has worn away on its own (which is very common as girls grow up), she won't bleed the first time she has sex. The result is that the overwhelming majority -at least 63% of women - will NOT bleed the first time they have sex, according to a study published by the British Medical Journal. Women who do bleed include: - Women with thick hymens (who constitute a small percentage of the population) - Younger girls. Because the hymen wears away on its own with time, a 16-year old has a higher chance of bleeding than a 25-year old. By the time a girl is of or above the legal age of consent - 18, 20, 24 years of age, for example - most of her hymen is likely to have worn away on its own, meaning it's unlikely that she'll bleed a lot, if at all. However, even a young girl can be physically active, have a thin or small hymen, or have no hymen at all, meaning she might not bleed during first-time sex. - Most often, women who bleed tend to be women who are dealt with roughly during sex. If the guy forces himself inside the girl, when she isn't ready, relaxed or aroused enough, he is likely to cause injury or bleeding. Because most people think it's normal for women to bleed the first time they have sex, they don't realize that this bleeding is a result of the woman having been hurt, and not of the hymen 'breaking.' Painful first-time sex is generally because the woman is not relaxed or aroused enough, and gets hurt as a result; it is rarely ever because of the hymen breaking. The bottom line is that there is no way to assess female virginity. Bleeding does not have anything to do with virginity - it has to do with the kind of hymen a girl has, and hymens differ from girl to girl from birth. The result is that only a small percentage of women bleed the first time! (Only 37% bleed during first-time sex, according to the study published in the British Medical Journal.) Why is this so important to be aware of? Women all over the world get abused, injured and even killed due to the myth of 'virgin bleeding.' Because most people (men AND women) think that bleeding is a sign of virginity, women who don't bleed the first time have been divorced, suffered from suspicion leading to domestic violence and abuse, and even killed for honour. Educating people that a girl does not necessarily have to bleed the first time she has sex - because not all girls have thick hymens, and some are born with no hymen at all - is important because it can literally save lives. .P.S: I understand that not everyone is able to share material like this, even if they want to. If the guy forces himself inside the girl, when she isn't ready, relaxed or aroused enough, he is likely to cause injury or bleeding. Because most people think it's normal for women to bleed the first time they have sex, they don't realize that this bleeding is a result of the woman having been hurt, and not of the hymen 'breaking.' Painful first-time sex is generally because the woman is not relaxed or aroused enough, and gets hurt as a result; it is rarely ever because of the hymen breaking. The bottom line is that there is no way to assess female virginity. Bleeding does not have anything to do with virginity - it has to do with the kind of hymen a girl has, and hymens differ from girl to girl from birth. The result is that only a small percentage of women bleed the first time! (Only 37% bleed during first-time sex, according to the study published in the British Medical Journal.) Why is this so important to be aware of? Women all over the world get abused, injured and even killed due to the myth of 'virgin bleeding.' Because most people (men AND women) think that bleeding is a sign of virginity, women who don't bleed the first time have been divorced, suffered from suspicion leading to domestic violence and abuse, and even killed for honour.
