It is an Etherum ERC 20 based token and the basis of transactions and rewards. Holders of SMAT participate in the governance control voting in Smarts community.\n\nThe management of Smarts Finance will supply a total of 1,000,000 SMAT tokens to be distributed to the participants.\n\nSMARTS PRODUCTS\n\nSmarts Finance will introduce some unique projects in blockchain to benefit its users. The products include;\n\nLending\n\nSmarts give its users access to beneficial financial services on the blockchain.\nIt provides a process that makes lending and borrowing easy for users. \nLenders (suppliers) earn good rewards for depositing and locking their assets in the pool. They receive equivalent value of SMAT tokens for the locked assets can also use the assets as collateral for borrowing from the community. These assets can equally be redeemed back from the pool by depositing the current equivalent value of SMAT tokens by the supplier.\n\nThe borrowers can request a loan from the assets by providing sufficient collateral to back up the request. The provided collateral also earn interest for the borrower.\n\nStaking\n\nUsers of Smarts Finance are allowed to stake SMAT and other Etherum tokens that are supported on its platform.\nThe Smarts finance allocates 20% of the pool rewards to reward staking.  50% of which is allotted to SMAT staking.\n\nSMAT staking procedures are in 2 directive pools.\nThe first pool is allotted 27% of SMAT staking rewards, while the remaining 23% rewards goes to the second pool. Access to these pools are based on first come serve until the limit is reached.\nThe staking of SMAT is divided into 5 possible staking duration as;\n7 days\n14 days\n30 days\n3 months \n6 months respectively\n\nThe reward for staking depends on the duration of the staking period, the longer the period the higher the returns.\n\nLiquidity\n\nSmarts create liquidity pools that allow users to deposit their tokens for trading. The first pool created is a pair of SMAT/ETH token pool. The deposited tokens are verified before they are made available for trading. The SMAT/ETH is normally locked up for 6 months at least, and can be extended further in agreement with the community.\nThe depositors are rewarded with SMAT tokens in exchange and equal proportion to their deposit in the pool and can be redeemed at expiration of the lock-up period.\nThe Smarts platform has a structured pool mining process that makes it SMAT token to be marketable and liquidate easily.
