| body | WhatsApp users can now send and receive Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC) via the popular messaging platform thanks to the Lite.Im bot. The announcement is the latest attempt to simplify the cryptocurrency transaction process, bringing virtual currencies closer to the everyday person. In a tweet published by Zulu Republic on Sunday (May 19, 2019), the digital platform announced that its cryptocurrency messaging platform Lite.Im had introduced a simple way to send and receive bitcoin via WhatsApp. All users have to do is add the Lite.Im WhatsApp bot (Click on this link to add https://wa.me/17869167825?text=%2Fstart%20referral__733bc900-7b0d-11e9-91ce-db745f7fafa7) and follow the on-screen prompts. There are numerous options for users apart from sending and receiving BTC and LTC. The service also allows people to earn cryptocurrency via a referral program. There are also options that allow users to set their default coin, as well as select their preferred language and password. Presently, the two default languages are English and Spanish. The service also supports sending and receiving Ether (ETH) and ZTX – the native token on the Zulu Republic platform. Lite.Im already has similar services for Facebook Messenger, Telegram, and SMS. According to the company, “social messaging” is an important component of wider cryptocurrency adoption. WhatsApp alone has more than 1.5 billion users in virtually every corner of the globe. |

| body | The recent tilapia incident at Asutuare is such an alarming situation that got me thinking about the adverse effects it will have on the tilapia sellers and the uncountable banku and tilapia joints in town. Interestingly, I had no idea of the operations of the Chinese into tilapia businesses until this incident. So, the Chinese are everywhere, venturing into every lucrative business that the average Ghanaian survives on. From Galamsey, to textiles, electrical appliances, even beads and now tilapia. Have we noticed something about these Chinese people? They have the resources to embark on any business they deem fit as compared to the average Ghanaian. They actually have the machines to produce more products at low quality with nice packaging and thus reducing their prices to compete with the local producers who on the contrary, are striving to raise funds to even procure equipment for business operations. In the long term, when we continue purchasing "Made in China" products at the expense of "Made in Ghana" products, there is an adverse effect on the economy of our beloved country Ghana whilst on the contrary, boosting the economy of China. I know you might be asking “aren't there laws governing importation and regulation of products in Ghana? Well there are abled institutions responsible for that but the question is “are they doing their work? Are they proactive enough? So to us consumers; we have the mandate to carefully choose what we buy, ask pertinent questions and be discerning consumers. The next time you step out for shopping, think of the long term effect and choose quality over cost. By Linda Afia Akporhor |

| body | Drug Regulations in Germany Drug authorization in Germany is a subject that has been in the dialog for a long while now. Dating from about 10 years ago, government agencies have presumed that the exchange of illicit drug substances would be boycotted under government drug laws. However, this decision was made after the related agencies saw an expansion in illicit drug related issues resulting in deaths among buyers, and hence incited the importance of making the proper legitimate strides. Furthermore, those exposed to partaking in drug related crimes have been confronted with imprisonment and weighty fines. Explicitly, drug laws in the country says that keeping illicit drugs is a crime which might put suspects to a jail sentence not less than five years. In any case, this move by the German authorities is obviously intended to stop users from taking an interest in the bad habit. Nonetheless, the utilization of certain drugs isn't specified as an offense since there is a plausibility that some might expend them for healing purposes. All things considered, Germany passed a broad medical marijuana law a year ago expected to treat patients with genuine health conditions. Drug Abuse among German Citizens In spite of Germany's strict laws against drug trafficking, citizens and groups all through the country keep on facing challenges in stopping drug abuse and fatal overdoes. Yearly, the number of German natives biting the dust from drugs-related issues keeps on developing. Be that as it may, the fault is moved to the government who are blamed for redirecting assets to different activities and leaving the police with very little to battle the issue. In any case, the fortunate news is that current deaths can't be contrasted with a few decades back where the number was more than double. But then, the noted thing is that the utilization and trafficking of these illicit goods are far more widespread in the sense that more individuals in the country are one way or the other trying out a specific drug at a youthful age. What's more, for the individuals who have surpassed a predefined age, they have or will at least give it a shot sooner or later in their life. Nonetheless, more measures, for example, public awareness keep on taking the course. These activities are set with the goal of teaching citizens about the kinds of drugs presently available, especially on the Darknet and the threats or risk of each. |

| body | Litecoin has out of the blue expanded in preference among web users hoping to transact cryptocurrencies for illegal services. It is currently the second most popular cryptocurrency on the Dark Web just behind Bitcoin. As indicated by a report from Recorded Future (US and Swedish-based internet technology company founded in 2009 that in real-time specializes threat intelligence), Litecoin has unexpectedly outperformed different cryptocurrencies in preference "and is also presently the second most prevailing coin on the dark web after Bitcoin." The company notes: “In spite of what we realized by watching the chatter between criminals during the previous several weeks, Bitcoin remains the gold standard in the dark web, with all dealers allowing it as a payment, nevertheless, Litecoin rose as the second most prevalent currency, with 30 percent of all dealers (who actualized alternative payment methods) willing to accept it. Recorded Future initially started conducting "an extensive analysis on 150 of the most conspicuous message boards, marketplaces, and illicit services” in mid-2016. The company then "noticed members of the cybercriminal underground, discussing their developing dissatisfaction with Bitcoin as a payment vehicle, paying little respect to their geographical distribution, spoken language, or niche business." The disappointment with Bitcoin originated from an amplified enthusiasm from institutional investors, speculators, and average investors, which had beforehand clogged up the prevailing cryptocurrency's blockchain network and thusly, incited large fees. As proven by Recorded Future: The underground economy is reliant on smaller transactions in its day-to-day operations, with the cost of the average product or service starting between $50– $300. With the increase of transaction fees, the price of such product and service all of a sudden increases immensely. Litecoin has hence turned into an appealing choice, given that its core technology is almost equal to Bitcoin yet takes into consideration significantly faster transactions with lower commission fees. Be that as it may, similar to its elder fellow, Litecoin does not offer any propelled security or privacy, as Litecoin transactions are likewise totally transparent on the public ledger. Be that as it may, Bitcoin's popularity on the Dark Web isn't set to reduce entirely. Nonetheless, regardless of the continued diversification of cryptocurrencies utilized for illegal payments, the analysts expect Bitcoin to "stay as one of the primary payment tool, but with a significantly smaller market share." |

| body | In spite of the fact that it has been pending for a long while now, Coinprism will officially close its entryways on March 31. This news isn't a major shock, as an end has appeared to be up and coming for a while now. Although the service has been somewhat well-known among enthusiasts of colors coins, the end will definitely happen as arranged. The recent years have been quite a fascinating period for Coinprism. Explicitly, Coinprism was one of the initial companies to make access to colored coins which are (digital tokens issued over the Bitcoin blockchain, which work into some degree a comparative design to Ethereum ERC20 tokens) quite direct. Once upon a time, there were not many ICOs consistently, however, the occasional crowdsale occurred. Sadly, it comes up apparent that colored coins, in the long run, would not add up that much traction. More particularly, the idea rapidly got pushed to the side till when Ethereum ERC20 tokens began to add up traction. All things considered, colored coins were possibly marginal in advance of their time in regard to offering things individuals weren't even searching for. It happens once a while in the crypto world, however, not all initiatives are launched at the most favorable time. Therefore, it is of much importance that users of the Coinprism service ought to know that the platform will close down on March 31. This likewise implies their wallets will no longer be available from that date forward. The block explorer and API will also be closed down on that date. However, nobody will be very astonished by this development, although a few people may raise an eyebrow at it. Subsequently, Coinprism doesn't store any of its users' private keys, users must guarantee they can get to their assets in an auspicious way. Coinprism just stores an encrypted version of one's private keys on the platform, which can be decrypted using the password generated during the information signup process. Unfortunately, on the off chance that users have forgotten their passwords, there is nothing the company can do about it. After users export the private keys for their Coinprism wallets, they can clear them into some other compatible wallet. This will enable users to get to forked currencies, for example, Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold, if they have not done so already. It is good to see that users can in any case access this money when everything ends, yet it stays to be checked whether users can recall their passwords and 2FA data. It is unfortunate to see venerable service, for example, Coinprism close down, yet it is just to be expected given the way things have been going for them. It is indistinct what the majority of this implies for the colored coin industry, as it appears there will be even less spotlight on this sector advancing on. Nonetheless, in general, an intriguing future lies ahead for colored coins, in spite of the fact that it stays to be checked whether ERC20 tokens will keep on reigning supreme. |

| body | The general supposition at the Inside ETFs meeting in January portrayed Bitcoin exchange-traded assets as dead in the water when Dalia Blass, director of the investment management division at the Securities and Exchange Commission, wrote a letter bringing out worries around the cryptocurrency vehicles. Blass welcomed fascinated parties to connect with the SEC on the key issues of liquidity, valuation, and custody. Cboe Global Markets (CBOE), last Friday reacted, by arguing the case for bitcoin ETFs. However, Blass stated in the letter that, "Cboe does not trust that cryptocurrency-related holdings are so much different as to warrant divergent treatment from other commodity-related assets." The company which operates the first exchange to list bitcoin futures wrote, "while the current bitcoin futures exchanging volumes on Cboe Futures Exchange and CME may not as of now be adequate to help ETPs looking for 100% long or short exposure to bitcoin, Cboe anticipates that these volumes will keep on growing." Volumes could even achieve levels practically identical to other commodity futures products, it said. Goldman Sachs has contended that bitcoin and its kind are better depicted as "cryptocommodities" as opposed to “cryptocurrencies," yet noticed the contrast amongst bitcoin and gold futures. Head of Goldman’s Global Commodities Research, in a report published last month wrote, "Bitcoin spot trading still happens among a high segmented investor base and on a wide range of spot exchanges. With no huge establishments working across exchanges, there is likely an inadequate scale of arbitrage to drive spreads out of the market." In a similar note, Steve Strongin, head of Goldman Sachs Global Investment Research, said that although bitcoin futures contracts have authenticated crypto to a degree, there are still "various cases of failed futures contracts." Maybe that is what Cboe's letter truly is about, that is, assuring their investment in crypto offshoots wasn't just for nothing, since futures volumes will, in fact, raise if ETFs that hold those futures contracts get the green light from regulators. Be that as it may, the letter isn't an indication that a bitcoin ETF is on the way, probably not even close. So for the near term, it would seem that Bitcoin Investment Trust (GBTC) will keep on trading at a premium to its net assets value and still charge a huge 2% fee. |

Nonetheless, Ripple value a couple of months earlier, was represented by a 100% surge among South Korean traders. Explicitly, this might continually go on.\n",

| body | Invented in 2009, Bitcoin, is by value the largest cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is the first and the most popular cryptocurrency among about 2000 cryptocurrencies available to buy today. Bitcoin has been the pioneer of the new-conceived crypto market, making initial holders and investors profit from a remarkable rally in Bitcoin's price. Without a doubt, Bitcoin is the most well-known and the most confided digital currency in the market. However, all crypto-trades offer the option to exchange spot Bitcoin. Moreover, most cryptocurrencies are cited in Bitcoins, in this way Bitcoin satisfies the part of being a base currency in the crypto market. Interestingly, Bitcoin is likewise accessible in traditional future markets. In spite of the fact that the principle motivation behind crypto-exchanging is to improve holdings in terms of Bitcoins, nonetheless, it is conceivable and recommended to broaden investments across other cryptocurrencies to diminish the volatility and temper dangers. In this regard, some of the contenders of Bitcoin offer intriguing options for traders. Bitcoin Cash (BHC): Bitcoin Cash was intended to build the Bitcoin's capability crisis by bigger blocks, enabling more transactions to be prepared. In that capacity, BHC is more accepted by investors as for their transactions, contrasted to Bitcoin, which is ideal for digital investment. The development of Bitcoin Cash (BHC) was intended to make it a key contender for Bitcoin. By development, Bitcoin transactions are incorporated on a blockchain, nevertheless, the set of regulations by which transactions move is controlled by the miners themselves. In the event that some miners might want to change the rules, they just have to fork it. In that capacity, a group of miners chose to apply diverse rules to validate a transaction by mid-2017. This brought forth the digital currency Bitcoin Cash (BHC) in August 2017. Ethereum (ETH): Ether is the second biggest cryptocurrency after Bitcoin in terms of its market capitalization; generated on Ethereum platform. Similar to Bitcoin, Ether is built on blockchain technology and gives an open circulated ledger for transactions. Moreover, the acts that make Ether more engaging is the likelihood to run various PC applications on it, for example, a record storing application and also, its 'smart contract' usefulness, which is a scripting language. Also, Ether accounts are pseudonymous, thus give more security to its users. Additionally, for users who will make more transactions, Ether is a better option than bitcoin. Therefore, as a correlation, Ether's blockchain time, thus, time expected to finish a transaction, is around 15 seconds, whiles Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash takes 10 minutes for the transaction to complete. Litecoin (LTC): Litecoin is the fifth biggest digital currency in terms of its market capitalization. It has been propelled by Bitcoin. Be that as it may, it has a few technical contrasts compared to Bitcoin. Litecoin offers its users quicker transactions (blockchain time of 2.5 minutes), a higher number of coins and a marginally different graphical user interface (GUI). Nonetheless, Litecoin is alluded as 'silver' in contrast with Bitcoin which is referred to us gold. Variation In spite of the fact that the correlation among cryptocurrencies stays high because of a generally lifted system risk, a differentiated portfolio tempers the effect of everyday value swings of cryptocurrencies. Therefore, as the market turns out to be more stable, the advantages of variations among cryptocurrencies will be significant for a capable mid-to-long risk management, as some experts think investing in cryptocurrency can be very risky. |

| body | On the evening of June 8, 2017, the coolest day of a hot summer, a battering ram breaks through an apartment door in the Karlsruhe Südweststadt. With a crash ends not only the dumb waiting of the investigators. For hours they were lying in wait nearby, staring at a screen and hoping to catch the suspect in the act. With a crash, the rise of a phantom, which called itself "Lucky", also allegedly ends. Within four years, he is said to have become one of the most important figures in the German-speaking Darknet, this parallel world unknown to most people, in which so much more is possible than in real life, where so much more is possible than in the ordinary Internet. Which is so much more unleashed, and so much more terrible. The special forces of the Federal Office of Criminal Investigation stormed his apartment, they were quick and precise and had meticulously prepared. As they storm in, you absolutely must secure the laptop, more precisely: the open laptop should be closed. The man brings them nothing, because the suspect was not logged in. So they want to put the man who fooled them. When the phantom finally arrives in front of them, it immediately follows: Alexander U., a 29-year-old computer science student with broad shoulders, angular face, short, gelled hair. Nevertheless, not only the investigators, but also his friends and his family are asking themselves: What helped the respectable students to become "Lucky", the man accused by the Mannheim public prosecutor's office of setting up a platform with millions in the Darknet? On offer were the dealers who registered there, thus, dealt in drugs, counterfeit money and weapons to the assault rifle. Nine people were to be murdered with one of these weapons, in a right-wing rampage in Munich. |
