| title | How London Real's Speak To Inspire course will skyrocket your public speaking skills |
| body | "The best investment you can ever make is in yourself." Warren Buffet In mid-October of 2017 I joined a public speaking course put together by the team behind London Real. It was led by Brian Rose, who's responsible for interviewing some of the most interesting people in the world in his London Real Youtube channel. My public speaking skills went to a whole new level because the course made three things a priority. Facing and defeating your inner demons, having a library for reference and inspiration, and having a network of awesome people with the best attitude supporting you and have faith in you while you are having struggles in your journey. The best way to get hungry is by losing. Because when youre hungry you dont have a choice. I was always on the search of the best way to improve my speaking skills. Growing up as an introvert I knew it would keep me back from reaching my goals. So I needed a process that allowed me to continually develop myself. If I developed myself, I thought, it would allow me to successfully reach my goals. One of these goals is to start a business. I joined a weekend business accelerator where the goal was to bring together a team of willing participants and have them buy into your startup pitch. the people with the best pitches would get to form a team, and those who didn't have a good enough pitch would have to join the teams. needless to say, I didn't have a good enough pitch. That was a huge moment for me. With my competitive nature, thats when i really regret not taking public speaking seriously. So I tried out the local toastmaster club. I spent three months with them but wasn't happy with my progress. And then I saw Brian's ad on Facebook. The speak to inspire course took me face to face with my old demons. These were things I never conquered and thus, kept me back. These were, social anxiety. low self-esteem. seeking validation from the wrong people. And many, many others which built up over the decades. The second thing was having access to the awesome content that only London Real members have available to them. Using that content for reference and for good ideas, I was able to copy from the best of the best. The third and best thing that the speak to inspire course offered was a network of awesome people with great attitude. They helped me stay on course and kept me accountable to my goals. Without them I would have quit on myself a long time ago, as is my common habit when doing difficult things. They encouraged me when I was beating myself up. They never doubted me. I hope that these people stay in my life for many years to come, to remind me to keep going even through the darkest days. Because of this course I added to my goals. One is to be a keynote speaker in front of a large audience. And the other is to be an inspiring author of at least one book. |

| title | What Andrew Carnegie told Napoleon Hill as his mentor |
| body | let me tell you of a great power which is under your control. a power that is greater than poverty. greater than the lack of education. greater than all of your fears and superstitions combined. it is the power to take possession of your own mind and direct it to whatever ends you can conceive. this profound power is the gift of the creator. and it must be considered the greatest of all his gifts to man. it is the only thing over which he has the complete and unchallengeable right of control and direction. when you speak of your poverty and lack you are simply directing your mind power to attract these unfavorable circumstances. it is true that whatever you feed your mind, your mind attracts to you. all success begins with definiteness of purpose. with a clear picture in your mind of precisely what you want from life. everyone comes to the earth plane blessed with the privilege of controlling their mind's power and the ability to direct it to any end they choose. everyone brings with them at birth the equivalent of two envelopes one of which is labeled the riches you may enjoy if you take possession of your own mind and direct it to ends of your own choice. and the other is labeled the penalties you must pay if you neglect to take possession of your own mind and direct it. in the one labeled penalties is the list of prices one must pay for neglecting to take possession of one's mind; ill health, fear and worry, indecision and doubt, frustration and discouragement throughout life, poverty and want, and a whole flock of evils consisting of envy greed jealousy anger hatred superstition in the one labeled riches contains the following blessings; sound health, peace of mind, a labor of love of your own choice, freedom from fear and worry, a positive mental attitude, and material riches of your own choice and quantity. |

| title | Trust towards digital ecosystems and communities |
| body | People are now trusting community based ecosystems for their goods and services. And a good community has the means to organically ostracize and punish those who are parasitic and predatory to the members that depend on the community. With the aid of technology these communities now have the capability to prequalify potential members, reward the members for participating (gamification methods), and even disqualify dishonest members. And a good community has the means to organically ostracize and punish those who are parasitic and predatory to the members that depend on the community. The nature of a good community is designed such that participating in it actively and honestly makes it stronger. Displaying harmful behavior towards the community also becomes apparent such that consistently being dishonest and predatory towards community members inherently get more expensive and contain the risk of being banned from the community. We are seeing a trend where technologies that incubate communities with an self-enforcing behavior structure have a tendency to produce loyal and passionate community members which transmutes the relationship between service providers and consumers from a transactional nature to more of a wholistic nature. The result which is a loyal following of a brand as well as a community that gets the most delight from the service and experience they are getting from the brand. This sense of belonging towards digital communities and ecosystems pave the way for the adoption of exchange of values through the use of cryptocurrencies. In recent years companies like airbnb, couchsurfing and showaround have redefined what its like to experience traveling like never before by focusing on the hospitality of the local culture. This community based model is a counter-reaction to the model made popular by corporate giants in the travel, real-estate, and transportation industries. This sharing economy model have shown the way forward in terms of building a brand with a loyal community based around it. They have paved the way for community based digital ecosystem by focusing on the customer experience and redefining the underlying infrastructure around it. For example, with couchsurfing, they understand that the pain point for travelers is the accomodation options determine the experience. So they understand that local hosts can help the pain point in both accomodation and price. The success of the platform is held together by the accountability system they have in place that documents both the experiences of the host and the tavellers. This allows the platform to build a track record of safety and slowly builds trust among the community of users. Showaround has a similar accountability model that is gaining traction among travel enthusiasts in the tour guide industry. The community model implemented by companies like couchsurfing and showaround has proven to be a good example to use as a basis for its own community model because of its proven successful track record and safety. |

| title | Advantages of decentralization and why blockchain technology is an improvement over centralized systems |
| body | In politics there is a distinction between centralized and decentralized political influence. In one example there is this concept of a totalitarian government that oversees the activity occurring within its borders. The totalitarian government approves and disapproves the activities according to a set of rules agreed upon by its member states. Many corporations have this governing structure and so did Imperial Rome. The opposite concept to a totalitarianism is the concept of direct democracy. In direct democracy the member states have a means of agreeing which set of rules becomes the law of the land. In this analogy we can agree that having a direct democracy is more congruent to the concept of a decentralized rule of law as opposed to the totalitarian government which is politically and conceptually centralized. Time has shown that there are problems about centralized powers that can be solved by decentralized powers. When we take this analogy to the concept of money and other things of value we see why having centralized powers is not very good to the community. In a community we tend to expect that the things we hold valuable stay that way for a long time if not indefinitely. However when the centralized power is responsible for the management of the things the community hold valuable, such as money and taxation, then we can also agree that this is too much power in the hands of a central entity. Blockchain technology as a decentralized entity can be a good solution to this because it is decentralized by nature. The blockchain has a collection of member nodes which agree to a common set of rules by which they follow. This is also known as a blockchain protocol. Nakamoto blockchain is the first implementation of decentralized technology that allows borderless transactions possible without the use of a centrally governed manual entity. It has solved many of the most complex mathematical problems that its predecessors in peer to peer networks couldnt solve. Some of the more critical challenges it has overcome are the Byzantine Generals problem, and protection against Sybil attacks. The solution is an elegant one in which a common ledger where transactions are pushed into the ledger This becomes the network state in which all members of the decentralized network agrees to using a consensus method call Proof of Work. Time has shown that a central entity that controls the assets of the community tends to have an out of control system of checks and balances when left to its own devices. The nature of a Nakamoto Blockchain is that it is immutable. This means that changes to its state, the token transactions, cannot be reversed. Transactions that occur within its network will stay on its records for as long as the network exists. This is an advantage over centralized entities that keep its information private from its citizens or community members. |

| title | The trend in societal changes through the adoption of revolutionary technologies |
| body | There is now a generation that rivals the Baby Boomers who have now grown up not knowing life before the Internet. We are living in an era of accelerated innovation that has shifted not only the level of productivity we have in the workplace but has also shifted the way society accepts and absorbs new socio-cultural concepts. In other words, we are living at a time where each successive generation accelerates the rate of change in which our society accepts new social narratives. For example, it was not too long ago that the concept of online dating was socially unacceptable. The first generation that truly embraced this paradigm shift of online dating was the millenials. Before millenials made it cool online dating used to be a taboo thing. you didnt meet strangers on the street or even worse, from the internet, to get a date. Dating was a conservative social activity that was something you only did at church, school, and work because you were looking for "The One" you were gonna marry. in other more conservative cultures your parents told you who you were going to marry, totally skipping the whole dating thing. millenials redefined that because the reality is that kind of social thinking is now obsolete. having grown up in broken families, even toxic environments where the mainstream social values just did not fit into their reality just didnt work anymore and so they had to make something that was better fit them in the 21st century. the millenial generation were the pioneering generation of our time in that they changed the way what we perceived as socially acceptable. millenials paved the way like true pioneers and the rest of mainstream generational consumers followed suit. But now because the technology has enabled this activity among the younger millenial generation we in the mainstream have become accustomed to it. its actually cooler to find a date in apps like tinder, match.com and facebook than finding one at work, school, or church. trust me it used to be a thing. We slowly changed the narrative among ourselves and have come to accept it. Without realizing it, we made a drastic leap in collective thought and social paradigm. the intersection of a pioneering generation, a changing social attitude of values, and an accelerated pace of technology together provide hope that the adoption of more radical pieces of technology is now possible today. The change in social acceptance for online dating has been translated into other areas of our daily lives as well. in the transportation industry companies like Uber and Lyft has changed the way we accept the fact that a totally random stranger from the internet can pick up our daughters in his personal vehicle instead of her driving herself. "title": "The trend in societal changes through the adoption of revolutionary technologies",
"body": "\n\nThere is now a generation that rivals the Baby Boomers who have now grown up not knowing life before the Internet.\nWe are living in an era of accelerated innovation that has shifted not only the level of productivity we have in the workplace but has also shifted the way society accepts and absorbs new socio-cultural concepts. In other words, we are living at a time where each successive generation accelerates the rate of change in which our society accepts new social narratives. For example, it was not too long ago that the concept of online dating was socially unacceptable. The first generation that truly embraced this paradigm shift of online dating was the millenials. \n\nBefore millenials made it cool online dating used to be a taboo thing. you didnt meet strangers on the street or even worse, from the internet, to get a date. Dating was a conservative social activity that was something you only did at church, school, and work because you were looking for \"The One\" you were gonna marry. in other more conservative cultures your parents told you who you were going to marry, totally skipping the whole dating thing. millenials redefined that because the reality is that kind of social thinking is now obsolete.\nhaving grown up in broken families, even toxic environments where the mainstream social values just did not fit into their reality just didnt work anymore and so they had to make something that was better fit them in the 21st century. the millenial generation were the pioneering generation of our time in that they changed the way what we perceived as socially acceptable. millenials paved the way like true pioneers and the rest of mainstream generational consumers followed suit.\nBut now because the technology has enabled this activity among the younger millenial generation we in the mainstream have become accustomed to it. its actually cooler to find a date in apps like tinder, match.com and facebook than finding one at work, school, or church. trust me it used to be a thing.\nWe slowly changed the narrative among ourselves and have come to accept it. Without realizing it, we made a drastic leap in collective thought and social paradigm. the intersection of a pioneering generation, a changing social attitude of values, and an accelerated pace of technology together provide hope that the adoption of more radical pieces of technology is now possible today.\n\nThe change in social acceptance for online dating has been translated into other areas of our daily lives as well. in the transportation industry companies like Uber and Lyft has changed the way we accept the fact that a totally random stranger from the internet can pick up our daughters in his personal vehicle instead of her driving herself.\n\nIn recent years companies like airbnb, couchsurfing and showaround have redefined what its like to experience traveling like never before by focusing on the hospitality of the local culture. This community based model is a counter-reaction to the model made popular by corporate giants in the travel, real-estate, and transportation industries.\nThis sharing economy model have shown the way forward in terms of building a brand with a loyal community based around it. The community model implemented by companies like couchsurfing and showaround has proven to be a good example to use as a basis for its own community model because of its proven successful track record and safety.",

| title | How eBTC can beat BTC |
| body | The problem BTC is having now is that since it has put so much emphasis on the reliability and security of its Proof of Work consensus method it has essentially traded of any chance of transaction efficiency in the real markets. As a corollary, it is also the only cryptocurrency in existence that has successfully gained the trust of the mainstream customer base and as a result added value to the Bitcoin network and its brand marketing. This is an opportunity that is presented to eBTC which has positioned itself as the Ethereum equivalent to Bitcoin. In so doing, if executed correctly, eBTC can take advantage of the transaction speed of the Ethereum network while emphasizing the capability of adding value to its customers through well-written smart contracts. One option that eBTC can add to its feature base is the capability to support a payments system that supports multiple fiat currencies. This will allow merchants and customers to credit transactions over the network using currencies which they are already familiar with while bypassing already existing infrastructure setup by the central banking system. This strategy will essentially present eBTC as a serious alternative to BTC due to its transaction efficiency. Because BTC is currently dominating the mind share of the common crypto enthusiasts Ethererum, through eBTC can equally present itself as the cryptocurrency of choice when making real world products, such as coffee or pizza. |

| title | Personality Traits |
| body | Honesty-Humility: Persons with very high scores on the Honesty-Humility scale avoid manipulating others for personal gain, feel little temptation to break rules, are uninterested in lavish wealth and luxuries, and feel no special entitlement to elevated social status. Conversely, persons with very low scores on this scale will flatter others to get what they want, are inclined to break rules for personal profit, are motivated by material gain, and feel a strong sense of self-importance. Emotionality: Persons with very high scores on the Emotionality scale experience fear of physical dangers, experience anxiety in response to life's stresses, feel a need for emotional support from others, and feel empathy and sentimental attachments with others. Conversely, persons with very low scores on this scale are not deterred by the prospect of physical harm, feel little worry even in stressful situations, have little need to share their concerns with others, and feel emotionally detached from others. eXtraversion: Persons with very high scores on the Extraversion scale feel positively about themselves, feel confident when leading or addressing groups of people, enjoy social gatherings and interactions, and experience positive feelings of enthusiasm and energy. Conversely, persons with very low scores on this scale consider themselves unpopular, feel awkward when they are the center of social attention, are indifferent to social activities, and feel less lively and optimistic than others do. Agreeableness (versus Anger): Persons with very high scores on the Agreeableness scale forgive the wrongs that they suffered, are lenient in judging others, are willing to compromise and cooperate with others, and can easily control their temper. Conversely, persons with very low scores on this scale hold grudges against those who have harmed them, are rather critical of others' shortcomings, are stubborn in defending their point of view, and feel anger readily in response to mistreatment. Conscientiousness: Persons with very high scores on the Conscientiousness scale organize their time and their physical surroundings, work in a disciplined way toward their goals, strive for accuracy and perfection in their tasks, and deliberate carefully when making decisions. Conversely, persons with very low scores on this scale tend to be unconcerned with orderly surroundings or schedules, avoid difficult tasks or challenging goals, are satisfied with work that contains some errors, and make decisions on impulse or with little reflection. Openness to Experience: Persons with very high scores on the Openness to Experience scale become absorbed in the beauty of art and nature, are inquisitive about various domains of knowledge, use their imagination freely in everyday life, and take an interest in unusual ideas or people. Conversely, persons with very low scores on this scale are rather unimpressed by most works of art, feel little intellectual curiosity, avoid creative pursuits, and feel little attraction toward ideas that may seem radical or unconventional. Neuroticism: (sensitive/nervous vs. secure/confident). The tendency to experience unpleasant emotions easily, such as anger, anxiety, depression, and vulnerability. Neuroticism also refers to the degree of emotional stability and impulse control and is sometimes referred to by its low pole, "emotional stability". A high need for stability manifests itself as a stable and calm personality, but can be seen as uninspiring and unconcerned. A low need for stability causes a reactive and excitable personality, often very dynamic individuals, but they can be perceived as unstable or insecure. The Dark Triad Narcissism is characterized by grandiosity, pride, egotism, and a lack of empathy. Machiavellianism is characterized by manipulation and exploitation of others, a cynical disregard for morality, and a focus on self-interest and deception. Psychopathy is characterized by continuing antisocial behavior, impulsivity, selfishness, callousness, and remorselessness. |

| body | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oct1UjNetik Habits are driven primarily by the subconscious mind. You cant undo bad habits overnight what you have done to your subconscious mind over the years. The subconscious mind will accept any thoughts that you keep repeating to it. We see this in action when messages are internalized through television. This is why social agents such as educators, religious figures and celebrities are so important. Their concepts are so important that the people who listen to them can't help but be seduced by the ideals. Its up to you in the beginning to layout your definite purpose, write it down so it is understood clearly, memorize it, then repeat it like a mantra until your subconscious mind picks it up and automatically acts upon it. If you emotionalize any concept and repeat it in a state of enthusiasm and back it up in a spirit of faith you find that the subconscious mind will adopt it more quickly positively and defintely. The state of faith is the best way to influence the subconscious mind to adopt any purpose or concept. This is why ideas can be a powerful tool for doing good or evil. |

He imagines if he could be so patient if he was in that situation with his daughter. He notices the ground crew behaving frantically. They are bringing some heavy machinery towards the aging airplanes undercarriage. Someday this little nation will be able to afford one of those low-orbit space craft made by Tesla. Anticipating what Looks like an extended delay, he is faced with a minor dilemma. Should he tell his AI assistant to change his schedule? "Faith, my flight is delayed for one hour. Please adjust my schedule for the next two days." "Ok boss, all your appointments for the next two days are adjusted one hour. Emails notifications are being sent. I will notify you in one hour who has replied if any." He almost thanked the robot out of habit, and had to stop short. Somebody looking might mistake him of being one of those "robophiles". It is not a compliment. Christian's next appointment is in St. Petersburg. There is an AI and robotics conference which may be a big deal. He was interested in connecting with a startup which figured out how to make drones do construction work. The problem is that he is behind on his Russian skills. He blames himself more than his wife, who did her best considering. Teaching languages is probably one of the hardest things to do on Earth. Especially when the language is one of the most complex ever invented by civilization. Christian will have to make do with virtual reality. At the very least he can familiarize with the surrounding environment, if not the local language. He is more suited to visual things and place higher value on not getting lost. He vaguely remembers that there is a Russian phrase about postponing things. Something about the meaning of priority and focus. Also among his least favorite things to do. The virtual reality package he downloaded shows a list of different walking routes from the hotel. Each one presents a different view of St. Petersburg. It powers on and immediately he is transported to a virtual version of the city. Its like the video game he remembers playing when he was younger. Except he now has to do this for work. His job requires him to be on time for appointments all over the world. He often has to be familiar with foreign environments, often with little notice. It was enjoyable in the beginning, but because he often has to go these trips alone, he started feeling homesick. He wishes that he could go to these business trips with his family so it wouldn't seem so much work. |
