| title | REAL REKT STORIES IN CRYPTO : A Rekt Story of 2018, The Happy Investor |
| body | <html> <p>It was November 2017, Sean Russel a property developer went all in , meaning put all his lifesavings into Bitcoin and invest $120.000. And we knew back then his entering would be one of the sweetest spot that an entering could be.</p> <p><img src="https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVtg6Mse89oHpdh6RVDfr7MREmbPupxCmzVKeqtnhZQC3/seanrussel.jpg" alt="seanrussel.jpg"/></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>As the story goes he as astonished and excited that is investment in Bitcoin in just 1 month peaked to $500,000. As history tells us Bitcoin went to $20.000 on December 2018 making it new record breaking heights. Back then Crypto enthusiast and investors are telling stories of crypto as a great investment in Christmas dinner tables. And other members of the family saying : "Oyaa??? Is is good investment ? Should I go in ?". </p> <p> </p> <p>And like every investor back then Russel's dreams had come true. His morgages could be paid, the family trip of traveling overseas to lavish destinations could finally be fullfilled. He was waking every day happy that his investment rose. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>The CNN article here: https://money.cnn.com/2018/09/11/investing/bitcoin-crash-victim/index.html </p> <p>explained like this : </p> <p> </p> <p>------------------------------------------------------------- CNN article ------------- </p> <p> </p> <p>"I think there was one morning where I woke up, where I made about £12,000 ($15,600) in one morning on my investment and it just kept going," said Russell. "I was thinking, wow, that's mortgages paid, that's holidays that I've always dreamed of." </p> <p> </p> <p>The dream didn't last for Russell, who works as a property developer in the United Kingdom, buying homes and fixing them up. The price of Bitcoin surpassed $20,000 in December before collapsing to around $5000 around January to February of 2018. </p> <p> </p> <p>Russell attempted to mitigate his losses by shifting money from bitcoin (XBT) to an offshoot called Bitcoin Cash and other cryptocurrencies including Ethereum and Ripple. But that didn't work, and Russell says the paper losses on his initial investment have reached 96%. </p> <p> </p> <p>------------------------------------------------------------- CNN article ------------- </p> <p> Now in the terms of cryptoland : </p> <p> </p> <p>He mooned on December and January but then he got rekt real bad around Feb 2018. Like everyone did back then, he didn't flip his BTC to stable coins like USDT when he was at profit (a typical case) or he didn't know such a thing as putting stop lossed because he probably wasn't a trader, and most probably would not put all his investment in the marketplace.</p> <p><img src="https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmWi7wimzEFwnyV9ENycVTfswNvZWsGPVCxf7HdzjLw4yc/2018REKTSEASON.jpg" alt="2018REKTSEASON.jpg"/></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>And then he started switching his BTC to shitcoins, coins that are not more than a database/ledger that is hyped, that era was the minting money from thin air, putting a website and putting a whitepaper full of typos and grammatical error like this article, and then luring noobs to switch their hard earned ETH to their newly minted unknown shitcoin, with no actual use case in the real world. </p> <p> </p> <p>The actual real case was that the these coins went far more down to -98% of their original value. Because they are nothing other than a hacker who learned how to mint coins using Solidity with the same code just changing the coin tick and the total supply. "body": "<html>\n<p>It was November 2017, Sean Russel a property developer went all in , meaning put all his lifesavings into Bitcoin and invest $120.000. And we knew back then his entering would be one of the sweetest spot that an entering could be.</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVtg6Mse89oHpdh6RVDfr7MREmbPupxCmzVKeqtnhZQC3/seanrussel.jpg\" alt=\"seanrussel.jpg\"/></p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>As the story goes he as astonished and excited that is investment in Bitcoin in just 1 month peaked to $500,000. Should I go in ?".\r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>And like every investor back then Russel's dreams had come true. His morgages could be paid, the family trip of traveling overseas to lavish destinations could finally be fullfilled. He was waking every day happy that his investment rose.\r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>The CNN article here: https://money.cnn.com/2018/09/11/investing/bitcoin-crash-victim/index.html\r</p>\n<p>explained like this :\r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>------------------------------------------------------------- CNN article -------------\r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>"I think there was one morning where I woke up, where I made about £12,000 ($15,600) in one morning on my investment and it just kept going," said Russell. "I was thinking, wow, that's mortgages paid, that's holidays that I've always dreamed of." \r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>The dream didn't last for Russell, who works as a property developer in the United Kingdom, buying homes and fixing them up. The price of Bitcoin surpassed $20,000 in December before collapsing to around $5000 around January to February of 2018.\r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>Russell attempted to mitigate his losses by shifting money from bitcoin (XBT) to an offshoot called Bitcoin Cash and other cryptocurrencies including Ethereum and Ripple. But that didn't work, and Russell says the paper losses on his initial investment have reached 96%. \r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>------------------------------------------------------------- CNN article -------------\r</p>\n<p> Now in the terms of cryptoland :\r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>He mooned on December and January but then he got rekt real bad around Feb 2018. Like everyone did back then, he didn't flip his BTC to stable coins like USDT when he was at profit (a typical case) or he didn't know such a thing as putting stop lossed because he probably wasn't a trader, and most probably would not put all his investment in the marketplace.</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmWi7wimzEFwnyV9ENycVTfswNvZWsGPVCxf7HdzjLw4yc/2018REKTSEASON.jpg\" alt=\"2018REKTSEASON.jpg\"/></p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>And then he started switching his BTC to shitcoins, coins that are not more than a database/ledger that is hyped, that era was the minting money from thin air, putting a website and putting a whitepaper full of typos and grammatical error like this article, and then luring noobs to switch their hard earned ETH to their newly minted unknown shitcoin, with no actual use case in the real world.\r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>The actual real case was that the these coins went far more down to -98% of their original value. Because they are nothing other than a hacker who learned how to mint coins using Solidity with the same code just changing the coin tick and the total supply. And poorly educated (meaning poorly educated in crypto space) Not necessarily poorly educated in real academic institutions because many MBAs and even PhDs also got rekt.\r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>So there it is Sean Russel mourning his regrets. Actually he could've got luck if for instance he flipped the coins to projects that are now doing great like BNB which back then was so cheap. Or if he put it all in MANA , it would be a different story. \r</p>\n<p>But probably right now he already made his fortune again in crypto who knows.\r</p>\n<p>\r</p>\n<p>The lesson we can learn is that nothing can be learned because even if we were in his position we might of done the same as he did. And probably just be careful and go back to the saying : "Invest only on cold money, or money we can afford to lose"\r</p>\n<p></p>\n</html>",

| title | REAL REKT STORIES OF CRYPTO : SQUIDGAME COIN |
| body | Remember the SQUID mania ? Ya that netflix series that ranked top telling the story of how real South Koreans are trapped by debt and finding way to get out. It turn out the the buyers of the scam coin might some have similar stories of the series. It was one the state of the art crypto scams. And can be called not "Wreck Havoc" but HAVOC REKT. These guys (scammers) are probably living in lavish lifestyles somewhere buying Ferarries or Masseraties, or staying AWOL for a while and spend the money like 3 years from now, while being hunted by the international authorities. On the other hand the victims are crying because of their poor knowledge of crypto combined with greed. Below is the snapshot of the comment section of the token : Link to read for yourself : https://bscscan.com/token/0x87230146E138d3F296a9a77e497A2A83012e9Bc5#comments We can see people crying in the comments of the BCSScan of the token (an etherscan for BinanceNetwork). Just read the comments, and you will witness the crying of people : "We cant sell !!, It's a scam !!, What am I gonna do ?? , It's my kids education money...., etc" and suprisingly there are plenty of scammers also in the comments. So after being scammed by buying the SQUID token they are again targeted for scamming again by another person/entity. These guys are called "Comment Section Scammers". This kind of scam is commonly called a "rug pull" by crypto investors. This happens when the promoter of a digital token draws in buyers, stops trading activity and makes off with the money raised from sales.Squid's developers or scammers to precise have made off with an estimated $3.38m (£2.48m), according to technology website Gizmodo. FYI, the total Supply of 800 million, 105.421 holders and 2 million transfers. Just imagine out of 105 thousand holders of the coin, roughly 97% of them are investors who went in FOMO-ing the coin. And you reading this article may be one of them. Just a devastating success. And they used PANCAKEswap a DEX not a CEX (centralized exchange). Even centralized exchange sometimes de-list tokens because somehow along the way it became a scam coin although there is thorough due diligence before listing them. While Decentralize Exchanges ? There the heaven for scammers, cause buyers directly swap their hard earned money in the form of Ether to the coins they believe will moon.Just like the MoonBrothers say it would moon. Using this strategy in buying coins that are just introduces by DEXa are sometimes a success like the story of the brothers who bought shiba inu tokens. But they recently regretted not selling at the highs and just staring alone foolishly contemplating a "Shoulda Coulda sold" had more wealth. The first comment in the picture explains it all, and this like other crypto scams will be history on how easy it is for scammers to execute it. Why so easy ? If you are a blockchain developer you can just copy a smart contract code and change the name the tick and supply and execute it in the blockchain. And your coin is minted perfectly. Just hire some freelancers in Fiver to do social media and even design your web, get false pictures and linkedin IDs, make a copied whitepaper and edit it roughly. And start tweeting and discording. These guys just know it all. But carefully executing it and finding the moment is another thing. It's craftsmanship but evil craftsmanship. Like they say, knowledge is like a knife you can use it for good and dissect knowledge or for the bad. So next time, careful when you see these guys in the picture below : |

| title | REAL REKT STORIES OF CRYPTO: The Cancelled Wedding |
| body | The sad REKT story of a fool who suddenly went 'crazy' because he suffered huge losses due to crypto which went viral on social media. Tens of millions of his money disappeared. The story was a classical wannabe rich investor. Seeing that he could 1000x fold his money in crpto. But unfortunately didn't hear the saying :"Never invest in money you can afford to lose" . He was going to get married. His intentions was he wanted to blow up his money so he and his fiance not just can get married but can also travel around the world for honeymoon and get a new Rp 400 millon SUV. In Indonesia a wedding all in cost around Rp 100 millon (roughly USD 7000), you can rent a building event room with catering / wedding food, flowers and a kodak man who takes pictures. Everything was set for getting married and what a happy couple they were. But there are more expensive ones if they could afford. But they were a classical frugal couple that thinks its better off getting married not too expensive and the money could be used for other important things like a down payment for a house, etc. The groom saved his hard working money until he knew crypto. He thought trading and crypto could be a good combination. You can get profits by trading and also by price "mooning". But it turns out deadly especially when both knowledge possessed is very shallow. For cryto traders USD 7000, might not be a lot of money. But with great skills it can be turned into $100 grand or more. But what happened or what most probably happens was that he putted long when the crypto price (around April 2021) suddenly corrected or went down. And sadly he got forced liquidated, that's just how it is. And lost every single dime, he lost everything ,cause he went all in. Like falling down a ladder, his wife-to-be left him after knowing that his lover had lost a lot.And most of all being a fool for not telling her about his investment intentions."You fool, you should have told me, I'm a financial advisor remember, I know all this stuff. And you know that already committed on living frugally right ? remember ??!! before and after we get married !!. This is it !! We're done. Go Home! I never wanna see you again" So he went to his friends house and told the story of pain of being rekt. The ugly twist was that some of the money was also borrowed money. That's common where crypto noobs and the early stages get greedy and want to add more money and buy more crypto even though from borrowing to friends and family. Digital assets with the lure of big profits, often tempt the public. Not a few who claim to benefit. Although on the other hand there are also those who have lost. Like this one man, it turned out that he had to lose millions of rupiah. Even though it was wedding money. |

| body | its just fun to see wealthy noobs in crypto feeling the same pain others in the 2018 era felt.Semi-rekt, fleeing, or become a forced hodler.lol. 2021 especially when Musk start promoting the coin of the dogs, many went in FOMO on the top and expected fortunes, now they're blamming him and justifying why they are still hodling their shitcoins, writing on block-chained blogs expecting cents, rolling dices on crypto faucets expecting 0,00001 BCH (get a life man). And entering 2022 classically contemplating a "shoulda coulda" sold last year, with remorse of being just plain greedy. Welcome to the crypto cycles. |

| body | If you are in the space for quite a while you should know who Carlos is. Yes he is the imfamous BitConneect dude. Those good old days of getting rekt by scam coins like bitconnect, and there are plenty others that pulled the rug on investors , running away their eth. The bitconnect case is an amusing story where there are people promoting this coin like an MLM superstar and Carlos was just that, the superstar of Crypto and his video became a meme instantaniously. Although many real people lost their fortune, but hey that's crypto , what do you expect. And the REKT continues. More are getting rekt and feeling the crypto. Actually its a testament of HODLERS. Because actual rekt is when you sell your coins now. Can you HODLE long enough and wait for the next uprise. All up to you. Hei..hei..hei. Bitconneeeeect.....!!!! |

| title | Pull the Rug and Slowly Pull the Rug Cases in Crypto |
| body | If you are seeing the current trends in crypto you will see that adopting and idea to another blockchain is one the greatest idea in crypto. Especially if you are a blockchain engineer or programmer. Something that succeeded in Binance Chain or Eth chain for instance should succeed in new blockchains such as Solana and so forth. There for just creating the same thing will likely have some success. Nowadays we see this in the NFT market. It is almost like the ICO days. So we call this the pull the rug slowly action . Where after the marketing and the hype, they sell the items. So becarefull in this space, check the social media to see wehter the NFTs really have traction or are they just hyped for the FOMO noobs to get in while they all pressed the button "SELL AT WILL" Good luck |

| title | HOW TO MAKE NFT IN 2022 |
| body | Nonfungible tokens, or NFTs, are exploding in popularity these days. People are paying big money for these unique collectible cryptocurrency assets. Minting NFT nowadays is an FOMO activity that people are chasing. Digital artist finally found a medium to make their art safe and have fixed ownership. Scams and theft are also in the NFT world right now, and this is the new challange faced by the users. The potential for big money is leading more people to create NFTs in the hope of cashing in on the current craze. Here`s a step by step guide on how to make (i.e., mint) and sell an NFT. 1. Pick your item Let`s start with the basics. If you haven't already done so, you'll need to determine what unique digital asset you want to turn into an NFT. It can be a custom painting, picture, music, video game collectible, meme, GIF, or even a tweet. An NFT is a unique digital item with a sole owner. This rarity gives the NFT value. : Make sure you have intellectual property rights to what you want to convert to NFT. Creating NFTs for digital assets you don't own can lead to legal problems. 2. Choose your Blockchain Once you have chosen the blockchain and your unique digital asset, it is time to start the process of creating it in the NFT. It starts with identifying the blockchain technology to use for the NFT. The most popular among NFT artists and creators is Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH). Other popular options include Solana. Tezos, Polkadot, Cosmos, and Binance Smart Chain. 3. Set up a digital wallet If you don't have a digital wallet yet, you can set it up to create an NFT because you need cryptocurrency to fund your initial investment. You can access your digital assets through your wallet. The best NFT wallets include Metamask, Math Wallet, AlphaWallet, Trust Wallet, and Coinbase Wallet. : Once you have set up your digital wallet, you will want to buy cryptocurrency. Most NFT platforms accept Ethereum, the cryptocurrency of the Ethereum blockchain platform. If you already own some cryptocurrency elsewhere, you will want to link it to your digital wallet and use it to create and sell NFTs. 4. Choose the NFT Marketplace Once you have a digital wallet and some cryptocurrency, it's time to start building (and hopefully selling) your NFT. For this, you need to choose an NFT trading platform. Key NFT markets include OpenSea, Axie Marketplace, Larva Labs/CryptoPunks, NBA Top Shot Marketplace, Rarible, SuperRare, Foundation, Nifty Gateway, Mintable, and ThetaDrop. : You need to research each NFT market to find the right platform for your NFT. For example, Axie Marketplace is the online store for the best NFT game Axie Infinity. On the other hand, NBA Top Shot is a basketball-oriented market. It is also important to note that some markets require their own cryptocurrency. For example, Rarible requires Rarible(CRYPTO:RARI). OpenSea is generally a good place to start. You can create your own NFT and it is the number one selling NFT. In August 2021 alone, the NFT market sold $3.4 billion worth of NFTs. : After selecting an NFT trading platform, you need to connect it to your digital wallet. This allows NFTs to pay the required issuance fees and maintain sales revenue. 5. Download file Now you are finally ready to create the NFT. The NFT marketplace you choose should have a step-by-step guide for uploading digital files to the platform. Through this process, digital (PNG, GIF, MP3 or other file formats) NFT on the market. 6. Sales Process Setup The final step in the NFT creation process is to decide how to monetize the NFT. Depending on your platform, you can: Sell at a fixed price: If you set a fixed price, the first person to agree to this price will be able to purchase NFTs. : Timed Auction Setup: A timed auction gives people interested in NFTs time to submit final bids. : Unlimited Auction Started: Unlimited Auction does not set a time limit. Instead, you may end the auction at any time. : You must define a minimum price (if you organize an auction), set a fee to keep the NFTs monetized if they are resold on the secondary market, and specify how long (if calculated) to hold the auction. If you set the price too low, you can sell your NFTs and lose money, so keep that in mind when setting the lowest price. Building NFT can be a lucrative investment. The NFT selling price rises as it gains popularity. So NFT creators can make a lot of money. However, not all NFTs even sell, given all the fees associated with creating and selling NFTs. Because of the cost, you should be prepared for the possibility of losing money when creating NFTs. The best way to avoid losses is to sell NFTs that others may find valuable and set a price floor that goes beyond offsetting the associated fees. |
