titleThe Love, The Magic & The Mystery Surrounding a Sunset In Toronto Canada
bodyI had just met my wife of 10 years. We were in that really lovey dovey part of the relationship where I was doing anything and everything to impress her. Flowers, candy, romantic evenings, poetry......anything I could do to make her smile. ![TDot Sunset 1 April.02.09.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmSR3Csybpokdt43LKq8x5tVyHSadKt7NGNfyh16vkRYQS/TDot%20Sunset%201%20April.02.09.jpg) All my attempts at generating a moment where I could capture her smiling were happening & going well but there was something missing. As time went on I had learned of her love of taking photographs and photography in general, so I did what any good man would do......I went into debt by buying her an expensive (at the time) Nikon camera. :) ![TDot Sunset 2 April.02.09.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQGG38rbvuwSrLhThnsmfCCr7Ay4gFz1uhGGgph8jYuKS/TDot%20Sunset%202%20April.02.09.jpg) That made her smile from ear to ear but the reason for her smile was for a different reason than I had expected. She was smiling for the simple fact that she was now able to document our love and relationship via photographs. Not because she just wanted to take pictures but because she wanted to use the photography tool I had just bought for her so that she could create a visual timeline of our special moments together... ![TDot Sunset 5 April.02.09.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmYQ2JMoUWJ4xLNSWp9aSoC5TXkZs1hfyAXAMtMCaxKFAu/TDot%20Sunset%205%20April.02.09.jpg) So it happened, On a cool April evening we looked out from our 17th floor bedroom window and we caught several amazing moments surrounding the Toronto skyline. ![TDot Sunset 3 April.02.09.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmaJataNUAXdXxfUUWeepdbJdBwrhb7AJZTBQ64mme2Jqe/TDot%20Sunset%203%20April.02.09.jpg) She was thrilled that we could use her brand new camera for the first time to capture what we both thought was an absolutely gorgeous scene filled with so many tones and colors and shade and fog..... This scene we were looking at with our own eyes was OUR reality and OUR moment....it had it all.....it was perfect! ![TDot Sunset 4 April.02.09.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmPdnWuopbXbdXMNoTUgfQztdExRGLXwf9tQHHzKS8CZdF/TDot%20Sunset%204%20April.02.09.jpg) No filters, no special lenses or settings........just raw point and shoot photography..... "body": "I had just met my wife of 10 years. We were in that really lovey dovey part of the relationship where I was doing anything and everything to impress her. Flowers, candy, romantic evenings, poetry......anything I could do to make her smile.\n\n![TDot Sunset 1 April.02.09.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmSR3Csybpokdt43LKq8x5tVyHSadKt7NGNfyh16vkRYQS/TDot%20Sunset%201%20April.02.09.jpg)\n\nAll my attempts at generating a moment where I could capture her smiling were happening & going well but there was something missing.\n\nAs time went on I had learned of her love of taking photographs and photography in general, so I did what any good man would do......I went into debt by buying her an expensive (at the time) Nikon camera. :)\n\n![TDot Sunset 2 April.02.09.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQGG38rbvuwSrLhThnsmfCCr7Ay4gFz1uhGGgph8jYuKS/TDot%20Sunset%202%20April.02.09.jpg)\n\n\nThat made her smile from ear to ear but the reason for her smile was for a different reason than I had expected.\nShe was smiling for the simple fact that she was now able to document our love and relationship via photographs.\nNot because she just wanted to take pictures but because she wanted to use the photography tool I had just bought for her so that she could create a visual timeline of our special moments together...\n\n![TDot Sunset 5 April.02.09.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmYQ2JMoUWJ4xLNSWp9aSoC5TXkZs1hfyAXAMtMCaxKFAu/TDot%20Sunset%205%20April.02.09.jpg)\n\n\nSo it happened, On a cool April evening we looked out from our 17th floor bedroom window and we caught several amazing moments surrounding the Toronto skyline.\n\n\n![TDot Sunset 3 April.02.09.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmaJataNUAXdXxfUUWeepdbJdBwrhb7AJZTBQ64mme2Jqe/TDot%20Sunset%203%20April.02.09.jpg)\n\n\nShe was thrilled that we could use her brand new camera for the first time to capture what we both thought was an absolutely gorgeous scene filled with so many tones and colors and shade and fog.....\nThis scene we were looking at with our own eyes was OUR reality and OUR moment....it had it all.....it was perfect!\n\n![TDot Sunset 4 April.02.09.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmPdnWuopbXbdXMNoTUgfQztdExRGLXwf9tQHHzKS8CZdF/TDot%20Sunset%204%20April.02.09.jpg)\n\n\n\nNo filters, no special lenses or settings........just raw point and shoot photography.....\n\nI hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do to this day....\n\nBless",

titleThe Beauty Lays Within The Roses Continuous Embrace....
bodyI spent around 6 hrs trying to get this photo just right, but then I realized I didnt need to change or alter very much at all. I began to stare into the center of the flower & I noticed the petals continuously embracing each other. One gently wrapping itself around another and another and another.... Until finally the embrace seems too come to an end and the roses petals stretch themselves out as if to be satisfied with own affection. I dedicate my photo of this rose and the next one I will post that I photographed shortly after, to my daughter.......Arianna Rose, who has spent the last 2 and a half years battling Leukemia. We gave her the middle name of "Rose" because we knew that she would not only be our beautiful baby girl but because we knew how strong and beautiful her soul would forever be.... I hope you enjoy my photograph. Taken August 12th 2017 ![Altered rose 1.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmbV5uBJtEAmex6yobwpjqP8WqHJ2fBmbrfvWQYtaxa3Xw/Altered%20rose%201.jpg)

titleIts a Pleasure to be Here! My story, my journey, My daughter's Cancer & how it lead me into Crypto....
bodyWell first allow me to introduce myself. My name is Daniel. Im sure just by reading the title of this post, you wondering how my daughters cancer lead me in the direction of crypto currency. Well its not that complicated actually. Let me explain.... When our little princess was diagnosed with Leukemia over 2 years ago, my wife and I had to stop working our full-time jobs because she needed full-time care. On top of that, we had our 3 year old son, who was 1 at the time, and as you can imagine he needed our attention as well. Things began getting difficult for us very early on as it was very evident that the lack of our 2 incomes was beginning to make everyday life harder and harder as each week went by. We then needed to start the battles with insurance companies, disability providers & the ever loving adjusters who hold in their hands, the power to dictate whether or not you get a cent! So with our depleted funds and savings, and our reduced insurance & long term disability payments, we began attempting to adjust ourselves financially to try and survive. We've battled, kicked, punched and fought ourselves through every single day ensuring that our little girl had what she needed and that she had a reason to smile while going through a nightmare that no child should ever be faced with. At the same time our daughter began her battle, she also asked us if it was ok if we found a way to try and help the other brave little soldiers @ McMaster Childrens Hospital, have a reason to smile also. And it was at that point our 5 year old daughter began her own charity and as of Christmas 2017, we have delivered over 3500 toys, gift cards, books & stuffed animals to not only our daughters hospital but to 2 other affiliate hospitals as well. A nation wide news report was done on our little warrior and you can watch it on YouTube. If you'd like to view it simply type "Arianna Koeniger" in the YouTube search bar & you can watch the CBC news segment. Our thought has always been, even if we have very little, we know the struggles of a child with cancer and we know how this affects the families, so we will attempt to give as much as we can in an effort to ease even the smallest of suffering. So about a year into treatments we were able to slowly return to work part-time while my wife and i took turns caring for our daughter and son. One day our little family of four decided to take a trip to near by Niagara Falls because it was something our little girl wanted to do and her blood counts were well enough that we were able to actually do something together as apposed to being isolated in a ward room at the hospital. On our way home we were involved in a 7 car pile up on the highway which was caused by a young man you was recklessly driving at 120km/h and hit us from behind and caused an absolutely terrible chain reaction. In a blink of an eye we were all hospitalized and my wife, both children and I sustained numerous injuries that now prevented us from continuing to work AGAIN and thats where everything began falling apart!! Once again we battled insurance companies etc etc and as a family we were completely destroyed financially. Fast forward to today.... I write this post from a hotel room paid for by our region because we cant afford a place to live. I sit here at a desk while my beautiful wife and daughter sleep behind me and my little superman lays asleep in the second bed. My daughter finished her chemo treatments on December 29th and today she had her first checkup and Im happy to say she is in remission and her blood counts are holding steady. So this brings me to the Crypto side of things.... As we continued to battle through what I like to refer to as Hell, I began coming across more and more information regarding Bitcoin and everything that goes along with Cryptocurrency. I was hooked and addicted right off the get go! I saw an opportunity to try and get involved in something that may just help my little family get some sort of better quality of life once again. So a while back a friend sent me around $200 worth of BTC and at that point I stumbled upon what everyone know as "Lending Platforms". Enter Bitconnect!! Yup, thats right, you read correctly. Ill spare you all the details but I was able to accumulate some capital which i re-invested and was able to withdraw funds that allowed me to acquire items my family so desperately needed. I made it up to $1200 in loans and things were going ok.....And then it happened.....I lost everything that had given me so much hope and what I thought would allow me to better our quality of life that my poor little girl, wife and son so massively deserved. All I was able to salvage was $21 that to this day sits in my Exodus wallet and reminds me everyday that I failed in trying to save our situation. My days are filled with non stop reading and absorbing any and all information I can that has anything to do with crypto currency. I am what I like to call a "Faucet slut" and im continuously trying to accumulate whatever amounts of BTC and Altcoin denominations i can get my paws on. I harbor quite a bit of knowledge and would love to share what I know, what im learning & have learned as well as my honest points of view and opinions on the world of BitCoin and the CryptoCurrency universe... If you'd like to view it simply type \"Arianna Koeniger\" in the YouTube search bar & you can watch the CBC news segment.\nOur thought has always been, even if we have very little, we know the struggles of a child with cancer and we know how this affects the families, so we will attempt to give as much as we can in an effort to ease even the smallest of suffering.\n\nSo about a year into treatments we were able to slowly return to work part-time while my wife and i took turns caring for our daughter and son. One day our little family of four decided to take a trip to near by Niagara Falls because it was something our little girl wanted to do and her blood counts were well enough that we were able to actually do something together as apposed to being isolated in a ward room at the hospital.\nOn our way home we were involved in a 7 car pile up on the highway which was caused by a young man you was recklessly driving at 120km/h and hit us from behind and caused an absolutely terrible chain reaction. \nIn a blink of an eye we were all hospitalized and my wife, both children and I sustained numerous injuries that now prevented us from continuing to work AGAIN and thats where everything began falling apart!!\n\nOnce again we battled insurance companies etc etc and as a family we were completely destroyed financially. Fast forward to today....\nI write this post from a hotel room paid for by our region because we cant afford a place to live. I sit here at a desk while my beautiful wife and daughter sleep behind me and my little superman lays asleep in the second bed.\nMy daughter finished her chemo treatments on December 29th and today she had her first checkup and Im happy to say she is in remission and her blood counts are holding steady. \nSo this brings me to the Crypto side of things.... \nAs we continued to battle through what I like to refer to as Hell, I began coming across more and more information regarding Bitcoin and everything that goes along with Cryptocurrency. I was hooked and addicted right off the get go!\nI saw an opportunity to try and get involved in something that may just help my little family get some sort of better quality of life once again. So a while back a friend sent me around $200 worth of BTC and at that point I stumbled upon what everyone know as \"Lending Platforms\". Enter Bitconnect!! Yup, thats right, you read correctly.\nIll spare you all the details but I was able to accumulate some capital which i re-invested and was able to withdraw funds that allowed me to acquire items my family so desperately needed. I made it up to $1200 in loans and things were going ok.....And then it happened.....I lost everything that had given me so much hope and what I thought would allow me to better our quality of life that my poor little girl, wife and son so massively deserved. \nAll I was able to salvage was $21 that to this day sits in my Exodus wallet and reminds me everyday that I failed in trying to save our situation. My days are filled with non stop reading and absorbing any and all information I can that has anything to do with crypto currency. I am what I like to call a \"Faucet slut\" and im continuously trying to accumulate whatever amounts of BTC and Altcoin denominations i can get my paws on. \nI harbor quite a bit of knowledge and would love to share what I know, what im learning & have learned as well as my honest points of view and opinions on the world of BitCoin and the CryptoCurrency universe... \n\nThank you kindly for taking the time to get to know me and read this lengthy introduction....lol.....\nI hope to get to know this community well and we share together ways of improving our financial situations.\n\nMy well wishes to you all......until my next post :)\n\nHere is a photo of my little girl a friend took after she lost her hair from the chemo. This photo of her in her SuperGirl costume means the world to me because to me, thats exactly what she is, my superhero!!!!\n\n![522016148320.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmeuu11erE5dU39TSUU7Ln7LsEdpoN3zVqrGbWDm4NtPGR/522016148320.jpg)",

titleThe Rise & Fall of the Infamous Lending Platform......Again!!
bodyIll try an avoid the "BitConnect" references as much as possible but I cant make any promises! As we all know, the above mentioned entity, left many of us gasping for air & reaching for some sort of stability as we all watched what we thought was a valuable coin/token known as BCC, plummet and bury itself deep within the earths core. The outcome was something out of a war movie, towns & cities left in ruins, people attempting to salvage what little they had left & realistically speaking, it left people out in the cold who were legitimately convinced that they were involved in an opportunity to not only make money, but to improve their quality of life. I myself lost just under $1200 which you may be thinking is not much, but for someone who has nothing, that $1200 was what we now know as a false security that really meant everything to me. It was for me as it was to so many others, my first experience with a platform of its kind and I was genuinely convinced that this was an opportunity to finally get ahead & take some of the weight off of my family as well as make all the little things that add up so quickly, just a little bit easier. I think the project or business model was an idea that was great to a certain extent, but then quickly began showing signs of disease......the "Ponzi" disease!! Unfortunately it was a "Ponzi" from the start in my opinion and the intentions of the developers were ill and inappropriate right from the start! It is now a full blown epidemic and platforms are quickly dropping like flies or making the appropriate changes to avoid having to march into a court room to defend themselves. Sadly there are still a few remaining who have decided to stick to their guns and go ahead with their lending schematics. Ive done extensive research on several of these platforms and will attack this subject further in another post. Enter DavorCoin.........Yup, thanks for nothing & for once again lying to everyone who hung on for dear life shortly after recovering from the deadly & dangerous BitConnect Flu! DavorCoin, another lending platform disaster, told everyone that even with the demise of BCC, that they would stay true & strong to its platform and provide an even more secure lending experience as they then stepped onto the 1st place podium in the lending Olympics. Down, down, down the DavCoin price went & the man behind it all who seemed to lurk in the shadows but appear when individuals questioned their securities, "Julien", is laughing all the way to the crypto bank. As the price of the DavCoin performed poorly on the internal exchange in terms of selling price, the coin itself was selling on Coinexchange.io for double, and for a brief period triple the price of what was happening on the inside. This lead everyone to speculate that the Davcoin team was taking their own coins out of the platform for peanuts & dumping them out for massive profits externally. Now as I said this is speculation but this was all happening as people were logging in to find that the lending portion of the Davcoin platform had stopped completely leaving only the staking option which also halted due to apparent traffic issues. DUH!!!! What the hell do you expect when you lock people out of lending and leave them with only 3 options, which btw sucked: 1)Hold you coins that are plummeting in price 2)Sell as fast as you can to try and salvage something, anything 3)Stake your coins which you then at a point arent able to do either Lets examine option number 2 for a second.... At one point the amazingly ridiculous Dav team decided it would be a great idea to not allow anyone to pull their Davcoins out to an external exchange to try and sell them. Thanks for that!! Also giving everyone their initial Lending packages back in Davcoin value plus 10% absolutely screwed everyone. This was the beginning of the end even with their so called hopes and dreams for the rest of 2018 with a bunch of nonsense ideas they claim to have for the coin in the future. So as we watched these two platforms use extremely shady tactics to run with everyones money.... the trust, the faith & the support for the world of Lending platforms quickly went down the toilet. Nobody in their right mind will ever trust another Lending platform and the doubt and mistrust that has been created around this crypto niche will always leave a bad taste in everyones mouth. And on that note I say Rest In Peace to all those delusional platforms that think that Lending is sustainable and will come without criticism, protest and some sort of law related earthquake. Just my opinion on things based on experience.... Let me know if you fell victim to these 2 circuses and feel free to leave your frustrations below! Cheers & God Bless

titleFilling Up My Cup of Crypto @ The Faucets...
body![bitcoinfaucet-news.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmX9Pp7orXSZt4gpCEdPb5wmCEaZqB1gkqtTq2VwF7762T/bitcoinfaucet-news.jpg) I have developed a sort of routine each day. I get up, wash up, eat, say good morning to my beautiful children, I give my wife some love as well and then.........My cryptocurrency faucet addiction takes hold! Both my laptop and smart phone are like guns in a holster at my hip. I whip em' out (get your minds outta the gutter), and make sure I hit every single solitary faucet I can handle all while stuffing Eggo Waffles into my face!. I get my personal fix from the "Moon" Faucets that are associated with the Microwallet known as "CoinPot" as well as 2 other BTC Faucets that coincide with CoinPot, "Bonusbitcoin" & "Bitfun". ![CoinPot Logo.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmaw3HwwaCzaUvWH9hEZYuQAEwocRE4KpCAtG48QBtcHAE/CoinPot%20Logo.jpg) I see the faucets as a way for little fish like myself, to slowly but surely create some sort of baseline for a crypto portfolio which in an ideal world, should in some way lay a bit of a foundation down for wanting to get even more engaged within the world we've all come to know and appreciate. The simplicity behind the workings of all these faucets is something to be admired but many people either question their legitimacy or wonder just how giving away certain types of cryptocurrency is even sustainable for the people who own them. Well In steps the wonderful world of Advertising!! Its blatantly obvious that through advertising & marketing campaigns , these faucet sites are able to maintain their livelihood which also allows them to fork out very small amounts of BTC and/or any other respective currency. Now earlier I mentioned something like "creating a baseline for a crypto portfolio".....Im not nuts, I swear!! What I meant by that sentence was these faucets allow us to get our feet a little bit wet in understanding a few things about cryptocurrency better. Such as wallet transactions, what smaller denominations of some coins are called, for example here is a little chart I stumbled across which breaks down BitCoin denominations in a pretty cool way: ![BTC unit chart.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmXPcuyiL4jRiHXMDRB7KsReFD6N5QLeQcmQ6xjgnhBQaC/BTC%20unit%20chart.jpg) Now keeping this chart in mind, I can honestly tell you that before heading for the faucets, I had never heard of or seen what mBTC is or was nor did I know very much about what a "Satoshi" happened to be. In a way the faucets help educate me slightly & show me some of the ropes regarding BitCoin and other currencies. Now my choice for faucets may not be another individuals cup of tea. But thats perfectly fine because there are literally 5 billion faucets to choose from....ok not 5 billion but theres lots of em ok!?! Probably one of the most popular if not the most popular is "Faucethub" which like "CoinPot", doubles as a microwallet to store all of your hard earned faucet claims. This site is unique as it actually lists many of the faucets out there for all the major types of crypto plus some. The site also boasts another side to it for faucet owners but I think one of the coolest features is the in house anonymous currency exchange, where you can buy altcoins directly from other users using BTC and sell your altcoins to other users in exchange for BTC. There's also a multi-coin lottery and a couple games you can play. There live chat system is also quite interesting and helpful & the reason i used the word "interesting" was because it allows you to "Tip" other people using the chat in a sense that if you like what someone had to say or youve developed some sort of virtual crush on a chatter, then you can send them a bunch of crypto. For those "Ballers" out there, in the chat there is an option to "Make it rain" and set a denomination for more than one person to share with. The stats say that almost 7.5BTC has been paid out in the last 2 weeks from FaucetHub! Thats pretty good. ![FaucetHub logo.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmeuoNSN2ygAaJWFgvaE65bbGxqy5WtSjoAJkLmczyuzjC/FaucetHub%20logo.jpg) My personal choice, for the time being at least, will be the simplicity of CoinPot. I have 7 go to faucets that dont change at all and are consistant. I have the option to convert one currency to another and have never ever had a problem sending or receiving and of the crypto ive collected. I think faucets are a cool way to introduce someone to Cryptocurrency or BitCoin for that matter. Their a pretty cool entity to help familiarize ones self with some of the basics attached to what so many people want to get involved in. Ill do a followup piece on a couple of the more popular self sustaining faucets that take care of themselves without a microwallet extension & are fun to take part in with very minimal risk involved! Hope you enjoyed reading me ramble on and on and on and on.....well you get the picture! Stay Blessed people!

titleFilling Up My Cup of Crypto @ The Faucets...
body![bitcoinfaucet-news.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmX9Pp7orXSZt4gpCEdPb5wmCEaZqB1gkqtTq2VwF7762T/bitcoinfaucet-news.jpg) I have developed a sort of routine each day.
