| title | The Heart and Soul of the New Decentralized World |
| body | **Blockchain technology has ushered in a new era of technological leverage** for the common man. This is the Decentralization of our world they say. My thoughts are, there is a hollow place in the midst of it all, a void that must be filled in order for our hopes to succeed. This I believe is a Collective Intelligence. **Almost every blockchain project** you hear about has some type of governing mechanism. I truly and honestly believe that given enough time these incubators as you might call them, will produce one of the most profound turning points in the history of man. **This is bigger than circumventing central banks and government intrusion.** This is bigger than monetary freedom and convenience. This is bigger than secure records and privacy. This is an event that will launch mankind into a new world and prepare us for our technological future. It will perhaps be evolutionary. **The issue is that, well there is a problem; it’s the individual.** The individual is a self-sufficient and self-sustaining organism. The individual is also a social creature. Getting the individual to relinquish power is not something that will be easily done. I know. I have been spreading this message around for some time. My experience has really been an unexpected one. **My presentation of a what I see as fundamental to a Collective Intelligence** and the value it will bring is not really that complex. In many ways it is quite simple. It is just a line of thought connecting aspects of life and human existence we are all familiar with. The response I have received over the years has been mildly deflating. You think to yourself; you have the answer, the time has finally come. Technology has today provided an avenue unavailable to humanity only a short time back. We can save ourselves you say! Well, they want no part of it. It doesn’t resonate, it doesn’t even vibrate, nothing. If they do speak it is quick and to the point, “it will not work” **To be honest there has been a progression.** Things have changed over the years and people are more receptive now overall. It has been years since I have had to listen to the dogmatic “It won’t work” People for the most part just don’t answer. What I propose is so foreign to them it seems they don’t know what to do with it. It violates everything they know about navigating society as an individual. Because with the Collective intelligence I envision, the individual takes the back seat. Well maybe we all take the front seat. Does that make sense? **It must come to fruition.** A collective intelligence with all the necessary parts; permanence, anonymity, transparency and the moderation of human logic is so vital to our future I do not believe we will survive without it. Blockchain technology as it is built has presented itself as the perfect vessel for a Collective Intelligence. I do not believe one will survive without the other. **Please read my blog, it is the least you can do.** Help secure our future and show your favor on humanity. |

| body | **On occasion I get just mildly annoyed** by my two daughters insistence that we re-cycle. I am not lazy by nature. My gut is just telling me that It seems like a lot of effort for so little return. Is that really a good charachterization of how I feel? Because I believe there is more to it than that. My children are young, early twenties. I am older, mid fifties. We see the world differently perhaps, but how? **If I stop and have a little talk with myself,** personally It is the fear of the larger context. It is the thought that my efforts would be misplaced. It is the fear that I don’t always want to acknowledge or attempt to deal with. This fear makes a mockery of small efforts that seem irrelevant or ineffectual towards the larger picture. **Yes we can recycle.** Right up to the day the clock they talk about once a year or so, finally hits twelve. **In my worldveiw** humanity has greater issues than the garbage piling up and the environment being degraded. Yes, these are important issues. I see them as sypmtoms though of a much larger problem. A problem that if not solved will eventually destroy us all, regardless of how hard we tried to do the “right” thing, whatever that may be. The real issue is something else and it lies within us, within humanity. **For me after years of living on this planet** with all it’s turmoil, I have come to see that peace is always short lived in a historical sense. Good deeds small or large never seem to really set us off the track leading towards the grand finale. The end game of armaggedon or apocolypse that resides in our psyche. **Why is that the state of humanity is that of perpetual conflict?** There seems to always be at least two sides to any issue. The question is often, how contentiouus will the disagreement be? What is the real problem here? **This is what I believe.** You often these day hear of artificial intelligence and how great it will be. Before we get carried away in our hopes and enthusiasm for A.I. I believe there is another intelligence that needs to be dealt with. That is human intelligence. **Human intelligence needs to be seen for what it is,** intelligence. For a moment consider that our brain functions as a computer. This brain setting there on top functtions as our own personal intelligence. We own it, it is ours. **Let us take this a step further** and see how the bond between the person and the computer make up the individual. We all have to make personal decisions, this in a large part determines who we are. We as individual form conclusions and from these conclusion we develop beliefs. We are all individuals and we function as individual intelligence. **There are others who may give advice, information etc.** At the end of the day it is only we who know what information we considered, how we weighted it and why. We may share with someone close, do we share everything though? We are individuals and we represent individual intelligence. **Let us go back to the recycling,** It is entirely possible that conflict could occur between my daughters and I over recycling. Who would be right? It that the real issue? No, the real issue is that we see the world from our own individual perspective and interpret it via our own indivdual intelligence. **More than that we are all living, breathing creatures living in an often harsh environment.** We as individuals seek or need food, shelter, sex and power. This greatly ads to an already complex situation. I titled this the invisible war because whether people are dying at that present time or not, humans intellectually and hense personally are in constant conflict. We just don’t always see the immediat results. **You may be saying, so what?** Rightly so, If I had been born only fifty years earlier I would not be writing this. I would adapt. I would follow life’s journey to it’s end and make good with what came my way. I would have no alternative. **Today through the miracle of modern technology** we do have a real opportunity for a solution to the human conflict we endure endlessly. This Is what I refer to as a collective Intelligence. The conclusions we form through the use of our human intelligence can be brought out into the open so to speak. **Please see my other blog titles** for more detailed explanations of what I propose. Thank you. |

If means you have a point of view or position that you would like to integrate into the greater whole in order to bring about positive changes in our shared environment. **It is admirable for someone to put time and effort** into what they perceive as positive contributions towards our common challenges. This is why I am a reader of alternative media. For almost two decades now I have read the opinions of people who I feel genuinely want to steer the world in the right direction. **Sadly though I feel it is not enough**Why? Because the dissenting voice, the wise advice, the cautionary tale are all just part of the human experience. There is nothing new about prescient individuals or groups of individuals giving heed to future misfortune. **Yes we live in a technologically advanced world** and there is a connection to people and events around the world that is extraordinary. The psychological and sociological forces at play on humanity have not changed though, not in fundamental ways. Yes we can be shamed at light speed or organized quickly to meet a crisis. Do we as humans interact in those psychological and social realms differently though? **The course of humanity is still heading in the same direction** it was yesterday and the day before yesterday. We need a contract of some sort though to hold these bonds together. **What needs to be said is that despite** all the good intentions and the at times; very positive results of those who I will deem activist; In the scope of things it is just chatter. Mistakenly, it is not serving the needed purpose.. That doomsday clock just keeps getting closer and closer as we keep talking and talking about it. **Alternative media and activist will be “truth-telling”** right up until the end comes. Their heroic efforts and they are heroic, are not waking humanity as a whole from the slumber of self delusion and personal need and want. That is the real issue and something much more is needed for that. **Humans have an almost symbiotic relationship** with self-delusion and the distortion of logic and truth.. Until it is resolved, sad as it may be it really is all just endless chatter. Please read; Save the World Individual vs. Collective Intelligence for an introduction to what I see as our only real hope as a species. My book “ Viable” is here also and has greater detail. What ever the solution is, we need to start looking soon. |

| body | Here is what I beleive the future is about. I guess what I was trying to say was that if you incorporate this perspective (Collective Intelligence)into your governance system, you would basically make what holds up the pillars of everything evil in this world (Individual Intelligence) obsolete. Sorry to dump on you here is from my blog. Too important to hope you will go there on your own.: The most frightening issue today is the aspect of our existence characterized by the advancement of our technologies for war (including nuclear weapons) and the ever clear stagnation of our species. In the last 100 years human technology has accelerated exponentially. We can all attest to this. During this same period of technological growth the entity we refer to as “Human” has for all purposes remained the same. Yes, our lifestyles and our daily use of the modern miracles of science have heightened our perceptions of human potential. It must be said thought, the emotional, perceptual and Intellectual cognitive views we espouse in our day to day life are indistinguishable from those of early man. We have not evolved or changed in any substantive way. We are the people; who have waged endless war, burned witches at the stake and fallen victim to our delusions. You often hear fears espoused concerning nuclear technology, biological technology or A.I.. The average person is not oblivious to the dangers. They appear perhaps to believe that fate and the old time tested fixes; leadership, diplomacy, war, morality, spirituality will apply here. On the other hand, perhaps they don’t, and that is why so many people toss the word Armageddon around. Armageddon may be seen as a logical conclusion that amazingly ancient man had the foresight to envision. Why must there be a blood moon on our horizon? As this gulf between our new technology and the continuation of past norms for human perceptual and social interaction continues to widen I foresee that, like a rubber band it must at some point snap back. A great technological setback as the two reunite would signify a tragic reversal of fortunes for the human race. We as a people, we the human race must advance, we must evolve and close the gap, but what would be the catalyst for this? What separates us from the animals in the rest of the kingdom is our intelligence? What is it about our intelligence that makes us unique; our use of logic and reason? My proposition is that human logic and reasoning; the higher order of our brain function is where the key lies, just not in the way we would normally consider or view this asset. To understand the issue we must first view the human brain for what it is. The human brain must be viewed as a computer, a very powerful computer. | Where this story begins to diverge is a place very close to home for all of us, the self. We must recognize and concede one vital aspect of this entire picture. The human brain belongs to the individual. It is captured in servitude of the individual and functions for the survival of it’s possessor. It is limited by the geography and history of the individual to whom it belongs. We all operate cognitively by default as required by survival on a perception based, individual intelligence. We have since man stood upright formed perceptions or conclusions as a survival mechanism. These perception or conclusions were often based on incomplete information and under unique time constraints. Individual intelligence is the dominating force of this age as it was in ages past and forms the conclusions and beliefs we operate from in our day to day lives. Our dependence on “leaders” shows that individual intelligence or human intelligence is a varied, and distributed element within our environments. What constitutes a leader here today in this unique situation or environment may not fit the bill tomorrow. Leaders can be kind or savage, patient or quick witted, poetic or bold, male or female. We all, all of us, constitute a “whole”. Here on Earth today live the totality of our potential for new and unique thought. The logic and reasoning of the human race is constituted within the thoughts of men and women past and present. We as a whole are a force of human logic and reasoning. |

In our history two elements stand out; leaders and war. Leaders are those who fill a niche or excel in a certain area. Our history of war shows how we find the parsing of logic and reason within our dialog too chaotic and impossible to accomplish so we simply wipe the slate clean and start over. Why is this? What I believe is that human Intelligence is “fractured”. By fractured I mean fragmented in its totality, used and abused by the individual perceptions, wants and needs of of all the individuals present; by the presentation of Individual Intelligence. If you were to consider all the known boundaries definitively and philosophically of human logic and reason you should quickly note that how logic and reason are dispersed and applied are totally subject to the emotions, perceptions, bias, wants, needs and shortcomings of the individual or individuals present. How I view our present condition is that many of those varied aspects of our modern environment and existence we consider “issues” are really symptoms. What defines human intelligence is our cognitive ability to embrace logic and reason. It is the “fracturing” of human logic and reasoning that I consider the root cause or malady to most of our difficulties. The chaos that envelopes us despite the good intentions and admirable qualities of many is singularly contributed to this “fragmentation”. In our world today dominated by Individual Intelligence logic and reason are not in a position to wrest their fate from the hands of man. What I also believe is that today we have an option which I will call a Collective Intelligence. We humanity can redefine the environment we operate in. We have the means and opportunity to facilitate a change never offered to our predecessors. Our technological advancements have produced great peril, they may also have provided the first opportunity for true human evolution. A Collective Intelligence as Iperceive it would be far superior to any individual intelligence. It would be a form of intelligence which elevates logic and reason to a higher standard of implementation, which is what we so dearly need. Today I believe we have the technological base to form a true Collective Intelligence. If we could provide a permanent platform accessible to all, a platform that removes bias and individual competition from dialog, we can change the landscape and environment within which human thought operates and progresses. The goal is to link the thoughts of individuals within a system moderated by logic. To provide an outcome from which we all benefit and which is credited to the whole. If we can harness the greatness of the human mind while shielding it from individual failings, It will be a different world and a new page in human history. The relics of this world which play such a prominent role today will fade. I do believe a Collective Intelligence is where we are headed sooner or later. Sooner would be better. The individual human brain evolved in an environment where the complex interactions of thought, information and time are vastly different than they are today. My hope is that we can initiate what I see as the only viable solution. Our age old friend and time honored solution; war, is no longer an option. The callous apathy that gives license to our aggression can no longer be seen as the stoic, admirable determination of strong will and intellect is once was. Politics is not the solution. Socialism or Communism is not the solution (there is always an individual or group of individuals at the top). Religion is not the solution. Anarchy is not the solution. Self directed growth, training and self-sufficiency are not the answer. We must address the greater reality we all share. Individual Intelligence is a dead end. We must embrace the concept of a Collective Intelligence and the benefits this concept will accommodate. Utilizing the natural characteristics of a Collective intelligence as I understand them, will engender a greater function and application of our most valued, innate human qualities. We must transition from a usage and projection of individual Intellect and Individual power attached to all the flaws of “self” to a collective intellect that projects more clearly the true force and power of the human race, logic and reason. |

Individual Intelligence is a dead end.\n\nWe must embrace the concept of a Collective Intelligence and the benefits this concept will accommodate. Utilizing the natural characteristics of a Collective intelligence as I understand them, will engender a greater function and application of our most valued, innate human qualities. We must transition from a usage and projection of individual Intellect and Individual power attached to all the flaws of “self” to a collective intellect that projects more clearly the true force and power of the human race, logic and reason.",

| title | THINKING OUTSIDE THE VERTICAL LINE |
| body | Anyone who has spent time reading online is familiar with the comments section. Some online publications have removed these in a cheerful way. They try to sell you enthusiastically that it is an unnecessary appendage and that sharing through social media somehow promotes constructive dialog. In reality they want to promote a point of view or narrative and they don’t want this narrative or message compromised in the comments below. America has a propaganda problem and removing the comments section only furthers and enables those who engage in it. My advice is that you should never trust a publication without a comments section. For me it runs counter to everything I believe is good. Everything good for me means; listening and being able to adjust your worldview if the circumstances call for it. This is relevant for everyone. Why, because no one is God; no one person encapsulates the entirety of human logic or perspective. We can all benefit from the logic, reasoning and perspective of others. We live in a world dominated by individuals of limited intelligence and perspective, of which we are a part. Perhaps we could continue into the future placing unfounded merit in the hope of Individual Intelligence as we were obliged for the last untold thousands of years. Let us attempt to progress instead. So today rather than discussing if we should remove the comments section I would like you to consider how we might improve the comments section and why we should. What is a comments section? Why is there a comments section. A comments section is simply a place for anyone to voice an opinion or perspective as it relates to the article published above. When people read a story they naturally have thoughts, questions and perspectives. So why not utilize this? As with everything I do now, I approach issues in terms of Individual Intelligence vs. what I conceive of as a Collective Intelligence. Collective Intelligence for me is our greatest hope for the human species. Back to Individual Intelligence, what is Individual Intelligence? Individual Intelligence is a process where the intellectual workings take place within the individual. Individual Intelligence is a place where all the pieces of the puzzle are laid out. There may be outside influences (other people) who contribute pieces to the puzzle; at the end of the day though, we each own our conclusions or beliefs. We say, “this is what I think”. This is the world as I see it. So what about that comments section? Well for starters the comments section in unlike anything known to man before this technological age. We can carry on conversations on topic matter in real time regardless of our geographical location. The issues you see, is not a question of if we should have a comments section or not. The issue is; are we utilizing this new form of conversation powered by our new technology to the fullest. To this I answer no. Why, because we are content, we are accustomed with a world dominated by Individual Intelligence and we allow this archetype to form the model of our interactions, online and offline. If we were to adopt a Collective Intelligence and model our interactions from this, how would the comments section differ? From here I can only give you directions. These are areas for us to explore and consider in creating a new and better environment. An environment inspired by the hope of a Collective Intelligence. Permanence would be an improvement. You must view every contribution within a comments section as relevant to the goals we seek to achieve. Every comment should be viewed as energy spent and ground covered in our effort to see a clearer picture of reality. In this sense letting a lively comments section simply be replaced with this weeks “new” whatever it is, is a loss. Organization would be an improvement, Again, viewed as energy spent and ground covered; why have duplicate or repetitive comments How do we mover forward in the conversation? How to we prioritize? How do we collaborate? How do we present? These are just a few observations. When and if the world embraces a Collective Intelligence there will be a new environment and framework to build, new ideas and plenty of work to be done. The first step is recognizing the futility that our acceptance and dependence on a world dominated by Individual Intelligence confers upon us. We know what we are dealing with if only we take the time to see it for what it is. It is thousands of people tying to speak at once. Thousands of people wanting to be heard, to be relevant. Thousands of people using anger, wit or sarcasm to promote a point of view. Thousands of people committing time and resources that in the end produces very little. What is it that that vertical line of comments does for us? Why do we keep coming back? Is it hope? Is it therapy? Is it entertainment? Is it just a release? Why do we participate? What is it we hope to achieve, perhaps we should start there. Please read my Essay, Viable for perhaps a better picture of what my be our beat hope for a truly brighter future. |

| title | WHAT IS A REAL SOLUTION? |
| body | Recently I was reading an article by a journalist whom I consider invaluable. I was informed by the article as always, yet at the same time I got the feeling I often do that we are all on a merry go round and will never get off. I have been reading articles like this one for the better part of twenty years. There is the outrage, the account of how we are being subjugated by powerful interest. The information concerning the wrongs perpetrated upon mankind. Reading the article you wonder what the point of all this is, as nothing will really change and little will be accomplished. Not by you just reading the article anyway. I have come to the conclusion that our documenting the injustice of man through journalism is all just the warm up act, the narration before the real show begins. It may go on for decades. We may have our small victories. In the end though only one thing will settle our primary issues and that is violent conflict. Because that is just the way that we humans work. Is violent conflict, war as they love to proclaim so boldly, really the best solution or fix for our problems in the world? Is it a solution at all, because the world and it’s inhabitants will always have issues? Power will always ebb and flow. Human needs and wants will persist. War in my mind is simply a reset for when the pressures simply overcome the environment. When the emotions and fears, wants and needs of the people involved become uncontrollable. Violent conflict leaves new realities in it’s wake. It presents a clear slate here and there within of the human sphere. It does not however change the dynamics of human interaction. So it can only be seen as a cyclical phenomenon, not a solution. Often I see within journalism what I refer to as positive human attributes put forward as “solutions” for the worlds’ ills. These may involve, positive thinking, love, respect, independence, raising your own crops etc. The idea seems to be that some positive human endeavor elevated to a priority in the minds and actions of enough people will create a refuge for some, give hope to others. They say love can change the world. They say “only if”. I don’t want to cast a shadow on the value of these skills and attributes. I only want to express that within the larger picture, human nature will continue to be expressed as it has for the last 10,000 years if there is not a fundamental change, a fundamental catalyst somewhere within our experience. We may ourselves espouse a greater representation of humanity, humanity as a whole though has not and will not change without a real solution. For our fortunes to change, our environment must change. Change as least as I understand physics takes energy. Energy is power. Power is what humans strive for and that is what we are really debating her. We live in a world dominated by Individual Intelligence. In the world we know individuals compete against one another constantly and individual power is greatly sought. So really it is this competition for resources, advantage etc. that is the issue. So how do we stop the fight? Isn’t this just nature? Yes, we are biological creatures and competition is endemic. We pride ourselves on our accomplishments and attributes. We are also very intelligent creatures and this is really the key. It really is not about the competition and standing on the podium. It is about the journey there. It is about the process and that process, that journey; is a journey of human intelligence. There are moral and spiritual aspects of our humanity that we embrace. Human intelligence though plays an integral part in our navigation of the world. Human reason and logic are the primary tools we use to accomplish this navigation. The solution we so desperately need has to do with our most valuable asset and that is our intelligence. We must find a way to optimize our intelligence We must transition from a world formed and dominated through necessity by individual intelligence to a world dominated and formed by a collective intelligence. Our environment will change, we will change, our interactions with one another will change, our possible future will change. The alternative is we enter a new world of technology provided to us by human intelligence and we drag along the attributes of our past and embrace our primal nature. A primal nature rooted in our dependence on individual intelligence. For more on Collective Intelligence and why I believe it is our solution to a greater future, please read Viable here at the top of the page. Thank you. |

"body": "\n\n\n\nRecently I was reading an article by a journalist whom I consider invaluable. I was informed by the article as always, yet at the same time I got the feeling I often do that we are all on a merry go round and will never get off.\nI have been reading articles like this one for the better part of twenty years. There is the outrage, the account of how we are being subjugated by powerful interest. The information concerning the wrongs perpetrated upon mankind.\nReading the article you wonder what the point of all this is, as nothing will really change and little will be accomplished. Not by you just reading the article anyway.\nI have come to the conclusion that our documenting the injustice of man through journalism is all just the warm up act, the narration before the real show begins. It may go on for decades. We may have our small victories. In the end though only one thing will settle our primary issues and that is violent conflict. Because that is just the way that we humans work.\nIs violent conflict, war as they love to proclaim so boldly, really the best solution or fix for our problems in the world? Is it a solution at all, because the world and it’s inhabitants will always have issues? Power will always ebb and flow. Human needs and wants will persist.\nWar in my mind is simply a reset for when the pressures simply overcome the environment. When the emotions and fears, wants and needs of the people involved become uncontrollable. Violent conflict leaves new realities in it’s wake. It presents a clear slate here and there within of the human sphere. It does not however change the dynamics of human interaction. So it can only be seen as a cyclical phenomenon, not a solution.\nOften I see within journalism what I refer to as positive human attributes put forward as “solutions” for the worlds’ ills. These may involve, positive thinking, love, respect, independence, raising your own crops etc.\nThe idea seems to be that some positive human endeavor elevated to a priority in the minds and actions of enough people will create a refuge for some, give hope to others. They say love can change the world. They say “only if”.\nI don’t want to cast a shadow on the value of these skills and attributes. I only want to express that within the larger picture, human nature will continue to be expressed as it has for the last 10,000 years if there is not a fundamental change, a fundamental catalyst somewhere within our experience. We may ourselves espouse a greater representation of humanity, humanity as a whole though has not and will not change without a real solution.\nFor our fortunes to change, our environment must change. Change as least as I understand physics takes energy. Energy is power. Power is what humans strive for and that is what we are really debating her.\nWe live in a world dominated by Individual Intelligence. Why am I contacting you? I can’t really explain that to you easily. I am just hoping you will listen. I have duplicate post on Medium that I have rewritten and are more polished. They are under user CMW there also 5 down on the search, user since jan. 18. It was a bonus to see that you are working on a governance system. What I have to offer I believe will revolutionize this, change the world even. If the crypto based forums were to implement and adopt what I am proposing they would literally rule the world. That sounds silly I know but I honestly believe it. Why, because the change I am seeing will upend the world. Crypto is the perfect vehicle. The two were made for each other. I know I am rambling incoherently. I just hope you will see my blog here or on Medium and read enough to at least ask one question or get a grasp of what I am trying to convey. I am not a programmer, I have not the skills. I have not the money. I am not a personality or tech savvy. I am not able to work the miracles some are. I am a leader I believe, I think logically and rationally. I will listen quietly to anyone. and will change my views is need be. I am a servant by nature. I am a rebel in the sense that I do not like to follow the herd. I have been promoting this for more than 10 years to little avail. | body | Caitlin, great article and well needed as always. You are wrong on just one point. You are calling Rogin stupid, he is anything but. He is a professional liar and his twist and turns of deceit are nothing but pure genius. The hard fact that most Americans will never be able to voice is that Rogin is Jewish. Say that and all you will hear is anti-semite, anti-semite even if it has nothing to do with race. It is really all about religion and nationality. Jewish people are by default Israelis. Josh simply wants this country to continue the work of reshaping the middle east for his “other” country and will do anything or say anything to ensure that. He will never accept someone like Gabbard as a candidate for President. You have to tow the line for the Israeli lobby. McCain and Graham know this, everyone should really. It is Really quite simple. Imagine if all the Jewish officials, media personalities etc. who hold two passports, speak two languages and worship at the church of Israel were all Russian, held a Russian passport, spoke Russian and belonged to the Russian Orthodox church. What would people be saying then? Is this not the argument Josh is making. That Tulsi Gabbard holds allegiance to another country. Why is Josh Rogin above scrutiny? I will tell you why, because being called an anti-semite, even if is totally ridiculous is more than people can bear or withstand. Opposing Israel equals evil racist in today’s world. The first thing I do when I hear comments or writing like this from Rogin is search to see if they are Jewish. Josh Rogin in not stupid. |
