      "body": "Current TerracoinCore Version: 0.12.2.4 - Release Date: 7/19/18\n\nUpdate/Bad Block\n\nAfter a successful release of the new client (0.12.2.4) we decided to throw a spork which caused a bad block/fork between the ancient 0.12.1.5/0.12.1.6 versions and the newer versions.\n\nIf you haven’t updated your masternodes/local wallets to at least version 0.12.1.8 then please do so immediately. We have released the patched version (0.12.2.4) of the TerracoinCore code to the miners in the final round of testing.  We wanted to make sure we have tested the patch thoroughly before release, so we sent it to the miners first.       "body": "**This is a long weekly update, but also very important!**\n\nWe are extremely pleased to announce that the new wallet, light weight Android wallet, and website have been released!\n\nTheSin spear headed and did a massive amount of work on each of these accomplishments, so let’s go through each one!\n\nCore Wallet version 0.12.2.3\n\nThe new wallet is version 0.12.2.3 and includes in wallet GUI proposal submission, voting, and proposal viewing.  It also includes the ability to get alerts when new versions of the wallet have been released.  This also works on masternodes.  This will help to keep the network up to date.\n\nKnowing about updates to the wallet is immensely important because the crypto world is a fast-paced change environment that will never stop moving.\n\nTo keep a crypto-coin on the right track the network must always be updating and adapting to the changing world.\nUpdate alerts help the less active community members know about improvements made to Terracoin and help improve the security of the network.\n\nIn wallet GUI proposals also help include as many people as possible in our decentralized governance.\nDecentralized governance is extremely important to The Terracoin Foundation, which is why we made it a priority for this release.\n\nNow, ANYONE can easily put in a proposal if they have 10 TRC and the masternode network can vote on it.  \nAll from the wallet.\n\nI am incredibly spoiled from testing because of the GUI proposal submission. It doesn’t need to sync the whole blockchain and makes multi-sig incredibly easy to use.\n\nMulti-sig, or multi-signature, is the ability to have two or more people to sign off on a purchase before it is released.\nA common use for this is to have your main local wallet securely stored in a cold wallet, while your spending cash in a multi-sig wallet.\n\nFor example, let’s say you work for a company and need permission from your boss to buy something. If you haven’t already, please update your local clients and masternodes to the latest version (0.12.1.8.)  If you have updated, then you will already be getting bonus rewards because those almost 800 other masternodes haven’t updated.\nIf you have a client or local wallet that is lower than version 0.12.1.8 and it says enabled please update because you could be on the wrong chain.  \n\nThis is imperative for mining pools as well!\n\nIf you need help, feel free to ask on any of our social media sites!\n\nSpeaking of updates SixofFive updated the Mattermost server and the bridgebot!       "body": "If your masternode is not enabled, then you need to immediately update your client to version 0.12.1.8!\n\nWe released this code some time ago.  It included updated auxpow code to avoid the issues that have happened to the older versions of the daemon.  It seems like only around 350 masternodes are running the current code, so if yours is not one of those then update immediately!\n\nTheSin wrote this handy dandy script to make the process pretty much effortless.       "body": "In the last week we have had a lot of things happen, but most importantly we had our first meeting of The Terracoin Foundation board.  We ratified the bylaws(https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MhhAJSiab-Oniwig-Jo0zBDKVFqb8UAjB9aP-K1Ps98) and we are now ready for the next step of IRS filing!\n\nWith that step we are now ready to officially announce that we are looking for investors to The Terracoin Foundation, and to Terracoin in general.  Abettorpin has been working on an amazing business plan since he put in his discovery(https://services.terracoin.io/discovery/?id=28).  His business plan explains Terracoin, The Terracoin Foundation and everything we are working on in detail.  We will be releasing it next week so keep an eye out!       "body": "We are very pleased to announce that Terracoin has been added to Blocknet (https://www.blocknet.co/)!\n\nBlocknet is a variety of things including a decentralized exchange through their dApp platform, and it also includes usage of their XRouter (https://medium.com/@theblocknetchannel/the-blockchain-router-architecture-for-a-decentralized-internet-847638d8c2ab) technology which allows cross chain transactions and much more!\n\nAnother exciting thing that has happened this week is that we were added to Masternode Cap (https://masternodecap.com/coins/TRC).  Check them out too!\n\nTheSin and SixofFive have made some great progress on some tweaks to services(https://services.terracoin.io/) and one of our block explorers (https://explorer.terracoin.io/chain/Terracoin).  The explorer has a new layout and on services you now can turn discoveries into proposals!\n\nI tested out our upcoming light weight, no blockchain download wallet called TRCpay, and I must admit it is awesome!  It will be available on Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, and Android and makes setting up a wallet take 30 seconds.  It also has easy to use multi-signature wallet features.\n\nWe also are still hard at work on the next version of the wallet.       "body": "As our excitement grows for the upcoming release of the new website, new code and mobile wallets we have decided to let translators loose on the github for the website.  We want Terracoin to be available to as many people as possible around the world, so that means we need to have website translated into as many languages as possible!\n\nIf you know another language besides English and French and would like to help Terracoin reach a broader audience check out our website github (https://github.com/terracoin/website) and put in a PR!       "body": "In the past week a lot has happened, but most notably we have had a massive boost in volume! C-Cex put us on their delisting announcement and it caused a lot of TRC to trade hands. Hopefully some of you were lucky enough to buy the dip because we are no longer on their delisting announcement and the price is recovering!\n\nWe are listed on eight exchanges and will continue to be added to more exchanges as time passes so make sure to do some arbitrage when possible!       "body": "The Terracoin and Altcoin meetup has finally scheduled for Friday, July 13th in Portland, OR, USA!  Right now, we don’t know how many people will be showing up, so the specific location hasn’t been selected.  I do know that I will be there and where ever it is I will be drinking a few beers during it.\n\nI think this is going to be an amazing opportunity to meet with Terracoin holders and learn about what you think about the future of cryptocurrencies in general.\n\nIf you are interested in showing up shoot me a PM, and I look forward to meeting everyone who can show up!\n\nOn to other subjects the Superblock happened on the 1st and all the active proposals passed.  Voting is open again so now is the time to get your proposals in!  If you ever want to check out past proposals to see what has passed you can always check them out here (https://services.terracoin.io/oldproposals).\n\nSince the Superblock passed that means the public ledger has been updated.  The public ledger(https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10Yceckmx-ZAf3AKQyYgLb1fi3Uud8KpBZDVuLyKCfX4/edit#gid=1705421481)  shows all the funds that The Terracoin Foundation has and how it has been paid out.\n\nWith all the scam coins out there, we feel like the only way to show our intent is to be as transparent as possible with such things like our public ledger and open discussion with the community.\n\nOur testing of the new desktop wallet, and Android wallet is going great!  The new website is also looking awesome and is coming along.\n\nSpeaking of the website we have taken on a new team member named Tygi who has been working on the new website and will be tackling other design tasks once the website is done.\n\nPlease welcome him on our Mattermost (https://mattermost.terracoin.io/signup_user_complete/?id=ohowtejzq3br7kp66qe466b8my) server!\n\nLastly, we think we are getting delisted on C-Cex for lack of volume.  We aren’t sure because we have gotten contradictory reports from their support and our volume is fine on there.
