| title | How to Catch a Wave - Surf lessons |
| body | **LEARN HOW TO CATCH A WAVE IN 5 EASY STEPS** 🏄💪🔥 👉 **Step 1:** Lay down on the middle of your board so you can just reach the top of it with your fingertips. Get into the water and paddle straight into the water. 👉 **Step 2:** Once you have reached the lineup sit down in the middle of your board. It´s always important to face the incoming waves so you don´t get suprised by a huge lineup ❌🌊😱 👉 **Step 3:** Once you see your perfect wave coming, turn around, lay down on your board and start paddling. Especially at the beginning, try to watch advanced surfers to see which waves are the good ones to take. 👉 **Step 4:** Once you are on top of the wave, stand up as fast as possible. It´s very important that you keep your head straight and never put your head down while standing up. 👉 **Step 5:** Enjoy the incredible feeling of gliding down the wave always facing the direction you want to go. 🏄 😍 |

| title | Travel Tips: Adventure and climbing in Gran Canaria. |
| body | # **TIPS FOR A NICE TRIP** # **When to go** The Canary island don’t understand about low season, this is due to the weather. Soft temperatures make possible outdoor activities during the whole year while in the rest of Europe it can be snowing here you can enjoy a sunny day, even a beach day! The south of the island will provide you more sunny hours per year and more chances of a beach day than north Gran Canaria. But if you want to know when is the best moment to visit the canaries, well, in my opinion, you will find the best weather from August to December. February can be a bit colder and rainy but our [carnival](http://lpacarnaval.com/en/) is able to throw away any sad feeling. If you like party, this one deserves your visit. # **How long should I stay?** Avoid the idea of a small island where you will get bored soon after discover everything in 4 days. You’ll need more than that to enjoy some of it beauties. Spend one week in Gran Canaria can be a good idea, perfect to enjoy many things. If you can spend more than a week, that can be perfect too. Trust me, you are not going to get bored, you are not going to be able to discover everything but, at least, you will see many places and do the right activities at them. Furthermore, if you are interested about local activities or experiences you will find leasure and culture ones at the webpage ["La Brújula"](http://labrujulaocioycultura.com/) , its in spanish but we think you will be able to find easily what you are interested in. To sum up, visiting Gran Canaria: 6-8 days. # **With who should I go?** The Canaries is a destination that you can always enjoy alone or with your loved ones. Nowadays you will find the perfect places and plans to do with all of them or just by your own. It offers a nice atmosphere for everyone. Hostel experiences are better if you come with friends or travelling alone. At hostels people gets closer and at the end of your trip you will notice all the new friends you have met. I used to travel with my family as a kid and i have to say that i loved the [rural houses](https://www.grancanarianaturalandactive.com/en/) they rented, at the canaries the rural houses got a traditional look accompanied by beautiful gardens or lands where children are totally free to play around and that was the best. Did i said garden? If you are interested about botanic you can always visit for free ["El jardin canario"](http://www.jardincanario.org/) , the widest garden in Spain and considered a reference of native Canarian and Macaronesian flora. Its located in Tafira, 7km away from Las Palmas city. # **Rent a car or not?** If you really want to enjoy the island as it deserve or go around freely without limits, rent a car, trust me, I definitely recommend it .If the kind of car isn’t quite important for you, you can find really cheap offers. As locals, we definitely recommend you [Orlando](http://www.orlandorc.com/) because is the cheapest one. Picking up the car at the airport can be the best to save time and be able to go around by your own from the first second. If you really love a vanlife, you can also rent big ones but the prices can go too high. If you dont want to rent you can always take the bus, you will find the [blue](https://www.guaguasglobal.com/en/lineas-horarios/) ones that will take you to other villages and the [yellow](https://www.guaguas.com/) ones to go around Las Palmas city # **Rent climbing gear or carry mine?** If you are travelling with hand luggage and you were looking for a [climbing holiday](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/climbing-holiday/) you should know that it’s not legal to take your climbing ropes and gear with you, they will ask you to pay for it to take it as checked baggage or just leave it at the airport if you are not able to pay. Same happens with slacklines and that kind of material that we would love to take always with us but airport security isn’t going to allow it. In this case, the best option can be [rent](http://www.canaryactivities.com/alquiler.html?___store=en&___from_store=default) at your destination or pay for some [climbing technification lessons](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/product-category/climbing/). If you are a climber with the idea of climbing as much as possible by your own, or with local guides, bring your climbing gear. It can be perfect if you buy the Gran Canaria [climbing guidebook](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/store/publications/climbo-guidebook/) to make sure you go to the right places and you find the crags easily. If you love outdoor sports and you prefer avoid to carry everything you can always enjoy one day activities or one day course, so you will be able to enjoy things that you like at a different place but enjoying other kind of things as a tourist. # **Food** If you like to eat fish, Canaries is your place. If you want to enjoy this kind of food i recommend you fisherman villages like Agaete, Sardina del Norte, Barrio de San Cristobal or Arinaga ( there are more nice places where to find seafood around the island but those ones are the main ones). The west area it’s quite interesting too. You can find local markets at weekends (mercadillo) at every mountain village where you can buy local food or handicrafts. It’s so common for local people to go eat outside at weekends, eating traditional food at the mountain villages or fish in the coast. North of the island produces huge quantities of bananas while the south west produces mango and avocado, just delicious! Visit [Mogan’s village](http://turismo.mogan.es/en) if you want to try these local fruits. If you are a coffee lover, you have to visit Agaete’s village, one of the main places in Europe where [coffee](http://cafevalledeagaete.com/) is cultivated. The only one in the island, due to the area’s microclimate, just amazing! # **Is it possible to sleep on nature?** Well, it’s quite interesting to sleep around the island but the best, is always adapt it to your plans. If you are thinking about camping on nature, that’s perfect and totally free, we recommend you to check the [weather](http://www.aemet.es/es/eltiempo/prediccion/municipios?p=35) before and ask for permission at the official[webpage](http://cabildo.grancanaria.com/formulario-solicitud-permiso-acamapadas), it’s not legal to go camping without it. Many camping areas got toilets, or barbecue areas but there are a few conditions during the year to do fire in nature. You will be allowed to make fire to cook but portable barbecues are forbidden. Gas cookers are allowed. There is a schedule to use fire is from 8am to 6pm. From the 1st July to 30 September is fire risk high season so we recommend you to pay special attention to the fire to avoid accidents. If you dont have a tent, sleeping in the car is permited except if the car is at the parking. # **Clothes** Always take a windstopper with you, island temperatures are nice but the humidity and the wind can make you feel that the temperatures are lower. Light clothes for the day but always a jacket or sweater, evenings turns a bit fresh. If you are driving around the island, you will never know what’s the weather like at other villages. Swimwear! Maybe you will arrive to the south and it’s going to be a beach day waiting for you, avoid suffering watching everyone in the water while you are not. If you rent a car ( above mentioned) you can always take at the trunk a bag with towel, swimwear but also jackets if the day turns cold. Travelling always with that bag will make you enjoy the island like a local. Trust me, I’m local and I always carry at my bags bikini and hoodies in spite of it sounds weird. For the girls ( or boys, I’m not going to judge anyone): If you are thinking about wearing a really light skirt, check the wind, you can spend the whole day making local people so happy with the views of your panties! The east of the island the windiest. Welcome to Gran Canaria, where you can wear warm clothes at morning, swimwear at midday and windstopper at night, microclimates style! Last info, the [sea temperature](https://www.seatemperature.org/europe/spain/las-palmas-de-gran-canaria.htm) goes from 19ºC in Winter to 23ºC in September and October so if you are thinking about watersports and you want to spend a long time in the water, maybe you will need a wetsuit. Enjoy the swim! |

| title | Adventure and climbing in Gran Canaria. Travel Tips |
| body | # **TIPS FOR A NICE TRIP** # **When to go** The Canary island don’t understand about low season, this is due to the weather. |

"body": "# **TIPS FOR A NICE TRIP**\n# **When to go** \n\n\nThe Canary island don’t understand about low season, this is due to the weather. Soft temperatures make possible outdoor activities during the whole year while in the rest of Europe it can be snowing here you can enjoy a sunny day, even a beach day! The south of the island will provide you more sunny hours per year and more chances of a beach day than north Gran Canaria.\nBut if you want to know when is the best moment to visit the canaries, well, in my opinion, you will find the best weather from August to December. February can be a bit colder and rainy but our [carnival](http://lpacarnaval.com/en/) is able to throw away any sad feeling. If you like party, this one deserves your visit.\n\n# **How long should I stay?**\n\n\nAvoid the idea of a small island where you will get bored soon after discover everything in 4 days. \nFurthermore, if you are interested about local activities or experiences you will find leasure and culture ones at the webpage [\"La Brújula\"](http://labrujulaocioycultura.com/) , its in spanish but we think you will be able to find easily what you are interested in.\nTo sum up, visiting Gran Canaria: 6-8 days.\n# **With who should I go?**\n\n\nThe Canaries is a destination that you can always enjoy alone or with your loved ones. Nowadays you will find the perfect places and plans to do with all of them or just by your own.\n It offers a nice atmosphere for everyone. Hostel experiences are better if you come with friends or travelling alone. At hostels people gets closer and at the end of your trip you will notice all the new friends you have met.\nI used to travel with my family as a kid and i have to say that i loved the [rural houses](https://www.grancanarianaturalandactive.com/en/) they rented, at the canaries the rural houses got a traditional look accompanied by beautiful gardens or lands where children are totally free to play around and that was the best.\nDid i said garden? If you are interested about botanic you can always visit for free [\"El jardin canario\"](http://www.jardincanario.org/) , the widest garden in Spain and considered a reference of native Canarian and Macaronesian flora. Its located in Tafira, 7km away from Las Palmas city.\n# **Rent a car or not?**\n\n\n If you really want to enjoy the island as it deserve or go around freely without limits, rent a car, trust me, I definitely recommend it .If the kind of car isn’t quite important for you, you can find really cheap offers. As locals, we definitely recommend you [Orlando](http://www.orlandorc.com/) because is the cheapest one. Picking up the car at the airport can be the best to save time and be able to go around by your own from the first second.\nIf you really love a vanlife, you can also rent big ones but the prices can go too high.\nIf you dont want to rent you can always take the bus, you will find the [blue](https://www.guaguasglobal.com/en/lineas-horarios/) ones that will take you to other villages and the [yellow](https://www.guaguas.com/) ones to go around Las Palmas city\n# **Rent climbing gear or carry mine?**\n\n\nIf you are travelling with hand luggage and you were looking for a [climbing holiday](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/climbing-holiday/) you should know that it’s not legal to take your climbing ropes and gear with you, they will ask you to pay for it to take it as checked baggage or just leave it at the airport if you are not able to pay. Same happens with slacklines and that kind of material that we would love to take always with us but airport security isn’t going to allow it. In this case, the best option can be [rent](http://www.canaryactivities.com/alquiler.html?___store=en&___from_store=default) at your destination or pay for some [climbing technification lessons](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/product-category/climbing/).\nIf you are a climber with the idea of climbing as much as possible by your own, or with local guides, bring your climbing gear. It can be perfect if you buy the Gran Canaria [climbing guidebook](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/store/publications/climbo-guidebook/) to make sure you go to the right places and you find the crags easily.\nIf you love outdoor sports and you prefer avoid to carry everything you can always enjoy one day activities or one day course, so you will be able to enjoy things that you like at a different place but enjoying other kind of things as a tourist.\n\n# **Food**\n\n\nIf you like to eat fish, Canaries is your place. If you want to enjoy this kind of food i recommend you fisherman villages like Agaete, Sardina del Norte, Barrio de San Cristobal or Arinaga ( there are more nice places where to find seafood around the island but those ones are the main ones). The west area it’s quite interesting too.\nYou can find local markets at weekends (mercadillo) at every mountain village where you can buy local food or handicrafts. It’s so common for local people to go eat outside at weekends, eating traditional food at the mountain villages or fish in the coast.\nNorth of the island produces huge quantities of bananas while the south west produces mango and avocado, just delicious! Visit [Mogan’s village](http://turismo.mogan.es/en) if you want to try these local fruits.\nIf you are a coffee lover, you have to visit Agaete’s village, one of the main places in Europe where [coffee](http://cafevalledeagaete.com/) is cultivated. The only one in the island, due to the area’s microclimate, just amazing!\n# **Is it possible to sleep on nature?**\n\n\nWell, it’s quite interesting to sleep around the island but the best, is always adapt it to your plans. \nIf you are thinking about camping on nature, that’s perfect and totally free, we recommend you to check the [weather](http://www.aemet.es/es/eltiempo/prediccion/municipios?p=35) before and ask for permission at the official[webpage](http://cabildo.grancanaria.com/formulario-solicitud-permiso-acamapadas), it’s not legal to go camping without it. Many camping areas got toilets, or barbecue areas but there are a few conditions during the year to do fire in nature.\nYou will be allowed to make fire to cook but portable barbecues are forbidden. Gas cookers are allowed. There is a schedule to use fire is from 8am to 6pm.\nFrom the 1st July to 30 September is fire risk high season so we recommend you to pay special attention to the fire to avoid accidents.\nIf you dont have a tent, sleeping in the car is permited except if the car is at the parking.\n\n# **Clothes** \n\n\nAlways take a windstopper with you, island temperatures are nice but the humidity and the wind can make you feel that the temperatures are lower. \nLight clothes for the day but always a jacket or sweater, evenings turns a bit fresh. If you are driving around the island, you will never know what’s the weather like at other villages.\nSwimwear! Maybe you will arrive to the south and it’s going to be a beach day waiting for you, avoid suffering watching everyone in the water while you are not.\nIf you rent a car ( above mentioned) you can always take at the trunk a bag with towel, swimwear but also jackets if the day turns cold. Travelling always with that bag will make you enjoy the island like a local. Trust me, I’m local and I always carry at my bags bikini and hoodies in spite of it sounds weird.\nFor the girls ( or boys, I’m not going to judge anyone): If you are thinking about wearing a really light skirt, check the wind, you can spend the whole day making local people so happy with the views of your panties! The east of the island the windiest.\nWelcome to Gran Canaria, where you can wear warm clothes at morning, swimwear at midday and windstopper at night, microclimates style!\nLast info, the [sea temperature](https://www.seatemperature.org/europe/spain/las-palmas-de-gran-canaria.htm) goes from 19ºC in Winter to 23ºC in September and October so if you are thinking about watersports and you want to spend a long time in the water, maybe you will need a wetsuit.\n Enjoy the swim!\n",

| title | GRAN CANARIA: A year round Adventure Travel Destination |
| body | # <h1> A GIANT PLAYGROUND Gran Canaria is one of the main islands of the Canaries, an African (but Spanish) archipelago located in the Atlantic Ocean. The closest point to Africa its about 150km and the closest to Europe 1350 km. This island is the third largest of the seven that compose the archipelago. The island is well known by it variety of microclimates and it soft temperatures. The climate is subtropical oceanic on the coast that’s why it’s sunny most of the year with spring like winters and warm and sunny summers. However, the climate varies according to altitude and exposure to the point that the island appears divided in two, the northern part being verdant and the southern one almost desert. If you want to check the weather before going somewhere, there are [Webcams](http://miplayadelascanteras.com/webcams/) located at some beaches or spots of the island so you can always get a better idea of whats the weather like. The trade winds prevail at the Canaries making the northern slopes more humid but also temper the heat during the summer. For this reason you can climb outdoors the whole year, north spots during the summer and south ones during the winter. Calima days are characterized due to hot air from Africa, more frequent in spring and summer. It can also be felt on the highlands and often even more than in the plains because warm air is lighter and tends to rise. Coast stays fresh due to the sea breeze. On these days, we recommend you to be close to the coast and enjoy water sports like surfing, kayak or easy hikes in the canarian forest at the north area. # <h1> Safety The Canary Islands are one of the safest holiday destinations on Earth at any time. Protected by the ocean, free of firearms, troubled neighbours and domestic instability. The islands belongs to Europe so we live under the European laws and conditions like no weapons, tight airport security, no radical religious or ideological groups and protected by Spanish navy patrols. Nowadays, it can probably be the safest destination of Europe. However, there are still some warnings you need to be aware. The islands are so close to the equator so you can burn quickly, please, take care of your skin, avoid turning yourself into a shrimp, use sunscreen and be sure to reapply it at least once every two hours if you are outdoors under the sun. If you are a climber, think about your neck and ears burned, that hurts! Every beach uses a flag to warn about the water conditions, pay attention to it to your own and your family safety. Every year many tourists trust the sea and die drowned. Of course, if you are not a good swimmer, be careful too. Especially always pay attention to the children. That doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy a nice holidays at the beach, the main beaches got lifeguard service and you can always try to do things like surf lessons with professionals who will take care of you. Last thing, don’t worry about what you can find on nature, there are no big mammals, there are no dangerous animals or plants, you will be lucky if while hiking you see a rabbit but the most common are lizards. Around the ravines or some climbing spots like Sorrueda you can see goats, but don’t worry, they don’t bite, at least they don’t use to . If you go swim, there are no dangerous sharks or fishes, so you can swim relaxed, snorkel enjoying relaxed all the little creatures you can see or surf calm without the idea of being bite by a kind of crazy shark. # <h1> Money The official coint is the €. Canarias its a lucky place because its exempt from duty, while in the rest of Spain they pay a tax of the 20% over the products called IVA, the Canaries don’t. But there is a special one called IGIC that depending of the product can be a 7% , for example, alcohol and tobacco are cheaper than in the rest of Spain, in fact, many people buy here these kind of products to take them to their countries saving some money. A tip if euro isn’t your country coin: Credit card exchange rates can be high. Airports tend to have the best ones, whereas hotels tend to have the worst. Take the time to ask various places about their exchange rates to ensure you get the best one when exchanging via credit card. # <h1> A bit of history. The Canaries at the XVI century were well known due to production of wine and sugar cane. But at the XIX and XX centuries British people with lung diseases were assigned to the islands due to the perfect weather conditions like the sun, the sea breeze and clean waters to get well and improve their health situation. Because of this, many writers started talking about the islands and the passion about exotic and new destinations grew. The heavy presence of international people produced a big development on the way of live of the local people, being advanced due to the source of wealth they brought to the island. The huge port of Las Palmas ( stills present nowadays but totally modified) did it possible. Since those centuries, the canaries has been a banana, tomato and potato producer, that’s the reason why some of our traditional dishes are made of these products, for example: “Papas con mojo” (little salted boiled potatoes with red sauce) it’s the main one, if you visit the island, you have to try them, at least once. Something quite traditional is the “gofio”, a baked flour ready to eat with everything. Local people do it salty (adding a spoon to their soups for example) or sweet. All your meals will be so energetic with it. You can feel the old spanish influence at some areas or villages. Vegueta is a nice example of this, Las Palmas old town. A beautiful area to go around, have some tapas and appreciate the architecture while discovering curiosities of it history. If you want to discover more traditional villages you can visit some of them like Teror, Santa Brigida or Fataga. # <h1> Outdoor beauties. Well well, outdoor lovers, welcome to the right island! Thousand possibilities are waiting for you. First of all, doesn’t matter which one is your sport (unless if you are a winter sports lover), here you will be able to try your best in addition to enjoy all the others you are interested. The island shape and climate conditions make possible outdoors training during the whole year, in fact, many professional athletes train here due to the quality of the spots. Adventures like cycling, surf, climbing, via ferrata or kayak are hosted by the natural environment turning them into something inborn on it attributes. In this island you will find a wonderful school to be introduced at many sports. Hiking can be considerate the “spoiled child” due to all the chances around Gran Canaria, you will find every kind of routes for all levels and an incredible landscape diversity. Depending of the area where you go, you will find deeper ravines, greener or dry and rocky as a western movie scene. There are more than 90 ravines and around 200 routes I recommend some ravines like Los Cernícalos, [Azuaje](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/blog/hikeandlearn-azuaje-slackline/) or other routes at the top of the island. With Climbo we organize circular routes of different nature and difficulty but always adapting ourselves to the group level. Hiking looks so simple for you? Well, southeast area was blessed thousand years ago with marvellous ravines where you can get lost at climbing areas and via ferratas. At the ravine “El Berriel” you will find many of them, in fact the hardest via ferrata of Europe is located here. There are 10 ferratas in general around the whole island, you can check them on this website: [Ferratas Gran Canaria](https://deandar.com/ferratas/todas/Gran+Canaria )but we recommend you to not trust all the information about the routes, sometimes is not correct if they are open or not, because of this reason, we advise you to check it with us at the following link: [Via Ferrata](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/store/activities/via-ferrata/) . We work with this information everyday and we can always suggest the best options depending of your conditions. About [climb](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/zonas/), if you like to go by your own we recommend you the climbing book guide of Gran Canaria, you will discover that following the climbing spots you can cross the island from side to side, sick! Spots like [Sorrueda](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/zonas/deportiva/sorrueda/), [Moya](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/zonas/deportiva/moya/) or [Fataga](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/zonas/deportiva/fataga/) are wonderful climbing sectors where you can find lines from 4-5 to 8a. There are many possibilities to improve your climbing technique and resistance due to the variety. From traditional, sport climbing to bouldering you find “natural toys” to challenge yourself. If you want to try a crazy experience at the island, jump to it! Here you will enjoy rope jumping from different highs and places, forget about your fears and try. If you prefer other kind of jump, well, you can run to it, try paragliding over the coast or over the mountains. If you are a water sports person, he north area offers the best waves for surfing also climbing spots while the east of the island is often windy giving a chance for kite and windsurf lovers at places like Pozo izquierdo or Playa de Vargas. The east is well known too because of scuba diving at beaches like “El Cabrón” where underwater beauties are waiting for be discovered. Another interesting scuba diving spot is Sardina del Norte but if you don’t have the scuba diving course don’t worry, you can enjoy the canarian bottom as well due to the huge quantity of beaches with calm water where you can try snorkel. You can try Peña la Vieja at Las Canteras beach, an area where the water is so calm perfect for the family and snorkel to the volcanic natural rock bar called “La Barra”. If you prefer something more relaxing, you can try paddle surf in Las Canteras beach or go around the south coast with a kayak while enjoying the sun and the privileged views. Are you looking for a mixture between water and earth? Here you can go canyoning always following by the water flow while walking, jumping , descending and enjoying. Natural slides are waiting for you! If you like to start or finish the day quite relaxed but awake and conscious of your moves, there are many possibilities for outdoor yoga and acroyoga. There are many lessons at natural spots where you will enjoy nature and you will be able to breath fresh air. With Climbo we make possible most of these activities with the most well prepared instructors owners of a big knowledge of the island, the natural environment and techniques to help you improve at every modality you try. Airports tend to have the best ones, whereas hotels tend to have the worst. Take the time to ask various places about their exchange rates to ensure you get the best one when exchanging via credit card.\n\n# <h1> A bit of history.\n\n\nThe Canaries at the XVI century were well known due to production of wine and sugar cane. But at the XIX and XX centuries British people with lung diseases were assigned to the islands due to the perfect weather conditions like the sun, the sea breeze and clean waters to get well and improve their health situation. Because of this, many writers started talking about the islands and the passion about exotic and new destinations grew. \n\nThe heavy presence of international people produced a big development on the way of live of the local people, being advanced due to the source of wealth they brought to the island. The huge port of Las Palmas ( stills present nowadays but totally modified) did it possible.\nSince those centuries, the canaries has been a banana, tomato and potato producer, that’s the reason why some of our traditional dishes are made of these products, for example: “Papas con mojo” (little salted boiled potatoes with red sauce) it’s the main one, if you visit the island, you have to try them, at least once. \nSomething quite traditional is the “gofio”, a baked flour ready to eat with everything. Local people do it salty (adding a spoon to their soups for example) or sweet. All your meals will be so energetic with it.\n\nYou can feel the old spanish influence at some areas or villages. Vegueta is a nice example of this, Las Palmas old town. A beautiful area to go around, have some tapas and appreciate the architecture while discovering curiosities of it history. If you want to discover more traditional villages you can visit some of them like Teror, Santa Brigida or Fataga.\n\n# <h1> Outdoor beauties.\n\n\nWell well, outdoor lovers, welcome to the right island! Thousand possibilities are waiting for you. First of all, doesn’t matter which one is your sport (unless if you are a winter sports lover), here you will be able to try your best in addition to enjoy all the others you are interested.\nThe island shape and climate conditions make possible outdoors training during the whole year, in fact, many professional athletes train here due to the quality of the spots. Adventures like cycling, surf, climbing, via ferrata or kayak are hosted by the natural environment turning them into something inborn on it attributes. In this island you will find a wonderful school to be introduced at many sports.\nHiking can be considerate the “spoiled child” due to all the chances around Gran Canaria, you will find every kind of routes for all levels and an incredible landscape diversity. Depending of the area where you go, you will find deeper ravines, greener or dry and rocky as a western movie scene.\nThere are more than 90 ravines and around 200 routes I recommend some ravines like Los Cernícalos, [Azuaje](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/blog/hikeandlearn-azuaje-slackline/) or other routes at the top of the island. With Climbo we organize circular routes of different nature and difficulty but always adapting ourselves to the group level.\n\nHiking looks so simple for you? Well, southeast area was blessed thousand years ago with marvellous ravines where you can get lost at climbing areas and via ferratas.\nAt the ravine “El Berriel” you will find many of them, in fact the hardest via ferrata of Europe is located here. \nThere are 10 ferratas in general around the whole island, you can check them on this website: [Ferratas Gran Canaria](https://deandar.com/ferratas/todas/Gran+Canaria )but we recommend you to not trust all the information about the routes, sometimes is not correct if they are open or not, because of this reason, we advise you to check it with us at the following link: [Via Ferrata](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/store/activities/via-ferrata/) . We work with this information everyday and we can always suggest the best options depending of your conditions. \n\nAbout [climb](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/zonas/), if you like to go by your own we recommend you the climbing book guide of Gran Canaria, you will discover that following the climbing spots you can cross the island from side to side, sick!\nSpots like [Sorrueda](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/zonas/deportiva/sorrueda/), [Moya](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/zonas/deportiva/moya/) or [Fataga](https://www.climbo.rocks/en/zonas/deportiva/fataga/) are wonderful climbing sectors where you can find lines from 4-5 to 8a. There are many possibilities to improve your climbing technique and resistance due to the variety. From traditional, sport climbing to bouldering you find “natural toys” to challenge yourself.\n\n\nIf you want to try a crazy experience at the island, jump to it! Here you will enjoy rope jumping from different highs and places, forget about your fears and try. If you prefer other kind of jump, well, you can run to it, try paragliding over the coast or over the mountains.\nIf you are a water sports person, he north area offers the best waves for surfing also climbing spots while the east of the island is often windy giving a chance for kite and windsurf lovers at places like Pozo izquierdo or Playa de Vargas. \n\n\nIf you prefer something more relaxing, you can try paddle surf in Las Canteras beach or go around the south coast with a kayak while enjoying the sun and the privileged views.\nAre you looking for a mixture between water and earth? Here you can go canyoning always following by the water flow while walking, jumping , descending and enjoying. Natural slides are waiting for you!\n\nIf you like to start or finish the day quite relaxed but awake and conscious of your moves, there are many possibilities for outdoor yoga and acroyoga. There are many lessons at natural spots where you will enjoy nature and you will be able to breath fresh air. \nWith Climbo we make possible most of these activities with the most well prepared instructors owners of a big knowledge of the island, the natural environment and techniques to help you improve at every modality you try.\n\nIf you want to learn more about Gran Canaria’s possibilities don’t be shy! \nDon’t hesitate to find want you are looking for at [Climbo](http://www.climbo.rocks/en/ )and take advantage at your favourites sport modalities.\n",
