HOWEVER I would be looking to get short soon looking to catch the last few chasing these levels. What you need to be careful is looking for continued buying momentum as hedge fund exposure is quite low and they will need to gain exposure at some point. PYPL hitting highs just to miss on earnings should have some longs trapped with expectation that this is just a dip. However I don't think so, and think we are in a long trap. However, they were sadly mistaken and continued to get squeezed as the major indices start to squeeze further. While I don't think this stock is done I think the easy money is off the table until we extend further. One to watch would be NBEV, with increased activity within the options market it seems as if players are looking for sympathy in this sector. While this is a highly speculative play, it would not be off of the table this week if we can start to squeeze in the overall indices. \n\n\nThis is not financial advice and should not be taken as such. For me, this could go either way. With earnings still to be released from MSFT, AAPL, MCD, TSLA, AMZN we could see some volatility in the next coming days. CRON is starting to squeeze further as shorts are getting destroyed. There has been some option activity in both CRON and NBEV that has caught my eye. Whether this is shorts hedging their core positions or MOMO players looking to catch some shorts. Either way, I think that we can still see higher levels in these names, especially if SPY wants to squeeze. As I thought the last couple of days the 267 would hold as resistance. We have been trading in a tight range over the last few sessions as options premiums start to come back in, this is pretty common after a big move that we have seen. Shorts think that things are overextended and bulls are starting to become more cautious. As Friday approaches and vol. starting to come off the weekly options are a lot more reasonable for payouts. I wouldn't be surprised to see some more chop today, however, I do think that we do see 267 break eventually catching shorts one last time and roping the FOMO bulls in. \n\n**PCG**\n\n![Screen Shot 2019-01-25 at 7.50.28 AM.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmWSjjDxTLzMRk5mazcUgYFSjkJTRwUZxxYr4PBd2mwLhJ/Screen%20Shot%202019-01-25%20at%207.50.28%20AM.png)\n\nPCG is a fun one, a stock that has been threatened with bankruptcy due to fires in 2017. Good news came out yesterday and immediately the stock squeezed to close to 100%. With this, you have to think that any short that has been expecting this to go to zero may get squeezed. It is not clear if they will file for bankruptcy if that is the case the equity will most likely be worthless. However with the emotion that is involved in this name lately there lies opportunity. I think that you will find chances for scalps on both sides of the tape today. Long term I still lean more bearish but shorting around these levels is more of a risk than an opportunity in my mind. CRON I talked about the other day thinking 16.07 would hold well it looks like I was wrong and we continue higher. With that being said there will be some shorts that are caught this name trying to nail the top. The best thing to do is wait, watch this name and look for pullbacks, with shorts looking to get out you will want to look for strength in the pullbacks to piggyback for scalps. CGC looking very nice technically however with a gap in the market I wouldn't be surprised to see weakness early we are in no man's land here on this stock while that will create opportunities for scalps off of the tape, I wouldn't get committed to an idea here. \n\n\nAs always this is not financial advice and should not be treated as such. But now the move is done and we need to look at what is next. We are still holding right above the 50% fib on the bounce, we rallied nicely into the close today. Those that are caught long now will help hold the ceiling if we ramp out of the gate tomorrow, if we are weak out of the open I wouldn't be surprised if we trap some shorts for an intraday scalp. Jan. 3rd was very key for trapping shorts. If futures remain down tomorrow morning and we open down I will watch for similar action. I still think that we have some room to squeeze. I am looking for the point where Bulls get tempted, I want to see the emotional buying where they start to feel left out. GS, in particular, got annihilated in the recent market sell-off. Since the numbers, GS has rebounded nearly 25% from the lows. While I think it is possible to squeeze some more I am starting to think those stuck long may want to take some risk off soon. BAC is quite the tricky one, very hard to time with my experience the best time to buy this is when it looks the worst. I still think that we see a continuation of weakness here. If this market turns and we start to sell I am very curious how AAPL reacts. It is a tricky one to trade as well, especially with headline risk looming. This one will provide ample opportunities on both sides of the tape as people reposition and figure out what they want to do.       "body": "**Market Outlook - Janurary 17th 2019**\n\nThis is an introduction to outlooks on the stock market that I will be writing on opportunities that I see within the market. One of these things being the obvious, we are running into resistance at every step higher. While I am not much of a technical trader I know many are and keeping lines on the chart help me recognize areas that others are watching. With SPY jumping over the 260 level in the last few sessions I am looking for either contiuation or a fail here. Many traders are looking to top tick the short on SPY and other names, which is leading to more of a melt up as they get squeezed. It has been quite weak in the recent rally in tech only rebounding 8% from lows while others have rebounded 10%+. There are a couple of things that I am watching here on this name. For one I am watching NFLX earnings. If NFLX hits I want to see how the reaction is for AAPL. Does it sell off, or does it hold its' gains and squeeze? I am also watching for option activity here with some size coming into shorter term expirations. While yes I believe it does need to take a breather that isn't a good enough reason for it to. There are a few things at play here: first is the SPY, overeager shorts are getting squeezed and we are in a melt up scenario currently. The second is the earnings, there is a $26 move expected... There are a few things that I am looking for. First if they crush earnings I am looking for the gap, does it sell off, or does it squeeze shorts that say \"this must pull back\"? It is very obvious to me that we will not see highs anytime soon. While this is not guaranteed I find it to be highly probable. So the question becomes when do you short to maximize your profits? With the recent news of their biggest shareholder not participating in the lockup until the 2nd half of the year this name becomes interesting. On 1/15 it is quite obvious that someone dumped a lot of shares right at the open but since then vol. has been light and holding nicely. While shorts may think they have this in the bag I think a squeeze could be in the works. The reason this is interesting to me is usually when GOOGL or GOOG sees size in the options they seem to be right on the money. This one is on watch for long side play but with SPY continuing higher the risk for the long play becomes greater and greater, so this one is at your own risk. \n\n\nOnce again this is not professional advice and should not be taken as such. In the career path that I have chosen there is a lot of pressure on me and how I preform. My chosen path for myself is not a traditional path. What I do on a daily basis may be a little different than what most consider to be work.  You are probably wondering what this kid does and why is he beating around the bush? The fact is, I personally don’t know how to explain it. In this profession there is a running joke on the question, “What do you do for a living?” Some say I sit at home and click buttons all day, and some just lie to avoid the question. What I do for my work is called trading. I make money off of volatility in both the stock market and crypto currency markets. While this profession sounds fun and exciting it can be anything but that. There is a sense of adrenaline when you place a 50 thousand dollar bet at the age of 21; but that exact emotion that you feel when placing the bet is the exact emotion that will end you in this game. The separation of self and emotion is the most important way to compose yourself on a daily basis in this field. Being able to detach from the real world and continue in your own with enough confidence that you are right is one of the biggest struggles that comes with this game. I have gone through a lot in the few years that I have done this, there have been good times and there have been bad. At the age of 22, I turned 10k of student loans into 50k in a very short period of time just to see most of it lost in that same year. Some days I have moved around 50 - 150 thousand dollars in money and currencies, all in directional bets, either I am right, or I am wrong, there is nothing in between. While this amount of money may not seem large, or equate to much risk, betting this amount of money can become very taxing on an individual. The emotional swings that one feels seeing their 401k drop 2% in a month, I feel tenfold in a day…every day. So my biggest struggle is myself and the emotional toll this profession takes on me as a human being. Being able to train yourself to detach from the world can be toxic to those that are a part of your life. People see you change and you become distant from those you feel closest to. The best way for me to describe the feeling is sitting on a park bench in the middle of Central Park. While you are sitting there thousands of people pass by, yet you just exist. The world continues on while you are just a part of it. My goal for this year and for the future is to get up from that park bench, engage with the human population and continue on. I will push further in this field knowing that without those closest to you, you will never make it. This is the game I chose and I love the challenge of it, but with challenges comes struggles and these are mine.",
