| title | Power of The Mind |
| body | I am very excited to be here and I plan to embrace this entire platform when I feel. My discovery of this Steemit world is another piece of my continually amazing journey on this planet. I have experienced unexplainable things and the energy of these experiences are what I hope will help others realize their own power of mind. Thought is the manifestation component of the universe. Once a thought is created whether a person acts upon it or not, it is in the ether. The action that follows your thought can be yours alone or someone else's creation of your like minded thought. No matter where it starts from, the common thought is the aspect that alchemically brings it to life even faster. This is my first post and I want to start off by sharing a big spark in my journey to understanding, belief, and knowledge of self. Below is the first part of my unpublished 2016 Book "Forget Football". When I began to write this book, the view of the game of American football was not anywhere near what it is today. Since I began to write the book, I saw my thoughts of its desired results come to life all around me. It came to life so much that I was satisfied with where my world was headed in its opinion of the game of football and there was no need for me to publish my book because the truth was coming out more and more everyday. To ignore or doubt your own manifestation of thought in your own world would be true self contradiction and disbelief. We have these things happen to us on a daily basis but the fact that we forget that we literally have our own perception and our own world, people look for validation outside of themselves and continue their own cycle of self doubt. Trust yourself and your deep initial thoughts no matter what people may say or think of you. If you do not embrace the power of your mind then life will continue to just happen to you. Being on "Steemit" alone shows that all of us have embraced aspects of that power already. "FORGET FOOTBALL" (post 1) Put all your money out of your mind and think on a deeper level without money being any bit of your motivation. This is about a guy who like countless other football players gave the game of football his entire life but unlike most, he finally was awakened by the truth and has no problem telling it. Especially since he can feel his cognitive ability and overall mental sharpness declining. I have to get this out NOW before it’s too late. My true calling of leading, writing, creating, and using my overall wisdom is now hindered and delayed due to the destruction of my brain from playing football. This is also about a culture that has such a stronghold on people’s lives on so many different levels that its dangers and long term affects get washed over like a random social media post. The truth is, people are afraid of the truth that has been sitting in their face from the start. FOOTBALL PHYSICALLY MAKES NO SENSE TO PLAY. This is for everyone who loves the sport as much as I did and everyone who doesn’t. It’s for my teammates, my “Brothers” who have shared in my pain and the players before us. For those who have a voice and are afraid to use it. For anyone who thinks they know the game but have never played and those who have never played the game at a high level. For the football fanatics who enjoy the entertainment and mantra of football culture. Most importantly this book is for parents who are on the fence about letting their child play football or any high impact contact sport. I want everyone who picks this book up to understand it and know that like anything else there is always more than what meets the eye. Here is my attempt at bridging the gap of perception and truth. This is all common sense but it is not common knowledge because of the amount of money generated by the sport. Football is literally a “NO-BRAINER” but its culture’s ability to take over lives which have so much other potential is why I say, Forget Football…. My Facebook Post [After watching "Concussion" with my 5 year old son on Christmas day I had an epic awakening of common sense. The movie hit home so hard for me that I will no longer support the game of football. I will not play, coach, or watch it again until overall awareness and change is set in place for the effects of playing the game to be accounted for in some kind of way on a large scale. I have played this game for the last 20 years of my life and have physically felt the effects of it more and more each year. If you have played this game you know the "Superman" like culture that comes with it. How it is a sin to get hurt or say "I have a headache". I will no longer turn a blind eye to the long term effects of ignoring the phrase. What the normal fan or anyone who hasn't played the game at a high level doesn't know is the stress and depression that comes with leaving the game. I'd equate it to being the same as losing a spouse of 30+ years but add 100 blows to the head every day of each year. You already feel lost and meaningless but you also have years of brain damage which inflates the process. I grew up with a love for football because of its culture, all the great things it taught me, and the qualities it brought out of me and my "brothers", my teammates. BUT all of that is not worth my life after football. The fact of the matter is we as a society have turned a blind eye to the long term effects of playing football and I refuse to be a part of the problem any longer.] When I wrote this post I was in tears because I had a full range of emotions running through me. I had already cried through the movie and writing this post made me feel as if I were still in my theatre seat. I saw a reality that one can only experience to fully understand. The portrayal of Mike Webster living out of his vehicle, filthy, careless, and hopeless reminded me of my mother and her road to her current state. It all started following the passing of my father “The Godfather of Go-Go” Chuck Brown, on May 16th, 2012 my mother completely shut down. She had just lost her husband and best friend of 30 years and we as a family thought we felt the same pain. Until she began to show signs of giving up on life. She starved herself and lost 25-35 lbs. She became very stubborn and would not pay a bill, or let us pay a bill for her. She wouldn’t leave the house or even do her hair for the next 2 years. As her bills piled up her house went into foreclosure, her car was repossessed, and none of it was registering to her. My siblings and I knew something was wrong and I was forced to take action by pursuing a legal guardianship. I had to have her emergency petitioned (basically forced) to hospital psychiatric wards twice because of her vegetable like state and misperception of reality. Prayerfully I was granted guardianship of her and was able to save her home but my mother as we knew her was officially up in heaven with our Father. She was diagnosed with deep depression, psychosis, and fixed delusions. All triggered by my father’s passing. He was the part of her that gave her drive and a sense of self and well-being. I couldn’t help but relate what I’ve experienced with her to what I was watching on the screen of “Concussion”. What people don’t understand is the attachment to the game of football is much like my mother and any other widow’s long time attachment to their spouse. Football is a lifestyle that grows increasingly habitual the longer you play. As football players we experience the highest physical attributes possible for a human being. We get to train our bodies to be our best combination of big, fast, and strong so we can run as fast as we can into another human being. There is no other sport or job on the planet that requires or allows you to experience this. To physically feel like superman and be told by everyone around you that you are something like superman and go out there to show them and yourself that you are that Superman. Then to have all of that taken away from you it is traumatizing. Every football player I know including myself has had some type of depression phase during and after their playing career is over and some never recover from it. The scary part is that’s only me looking at the surface of the issue which is only talking about emotionally. What are we physically doing to our bodies and our brain along the way???? My mother had no head trauma at all and the loss of my father led to the loss of her mind. Football players have years of head trauma and emotional instability along with whatever else we are dealing with in our lives. We as a society still wonder why the statistic of NFL players ending up bankrupt, jobless, divorced, or all 3 is so high. Imagine if we stopped talking about the NFL so much and took the same statistical facts from all pro aged football players period. Where are they in life now? There would be a more than obvious correlation between the statistics of brain damage and emotional damage being hand in hand in the sport of football. The worst part about all of this is the fact that the NFL has known about CTE for decades and kept it hidden. I’m willing to bet that Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) is possible at any level of football. I’d also bet that it can be diagnosed while players are still alive but just like the cures for Cancer and Aids the almighty dollar is the reason for the slow process of the truth coming out. So as we the players unknowingly were killing ourselves and shortening our mental sharpness longevity and overall lifespan between every whistle we now can honestly go out and kill ourselves. But why? (install 1. End) |

To physically feel like superman and be told by everyone around you that you are something like superman and go out there to show them and yourself that you are that Superman. Then to have all of that taken away from you it is traumatizing. Every football player I know including myself has had some type of depression phase during and after their playing career is over and some never recover from it. \nThe scary part is that’s only me looking at the surface of the issue which is only talking about emotionally. But why?\n\n (install 1. End)",

| title | Power of The Mind |
| body | I am very excited to be here and I plan to embrace this entire platform when I feel. My mother had no head trauma at all and the loss of my father led to the loss of her mind. But why? (install 1. End) |

The truth is, people are afraid of the truth that has been sitting in their face from the start. FOOTBALL PHYSICALLY MAKES NO SENSE TO PLAY. \nThis is for everyone who loves the sport as much as I did and everyone who doesn’t. Most importantly this book is for parents who are on the fence about letting their child play football or any high impact contact sport.\nI want everyone who picks this book up to understand it and know that like anything else there is always more than what meets the eye. Here is my attempt at bridging the gap of perception and truth. This is all common sense but it is not common knowledge because of the amount of money generated by the sport. Football is literally a “NO-BRAINER” but its culture’s ability to take over lives which have so much other potential is why I say, Forget Football….\n\n\n\n\nMy Facebook Post\n[After watching \"Concussion\" with my 5 year old son on Christmas day I had an epic awakening of common sense. If you have played this game you know the \"Superman\" like culture that comes with it. How it is a sin to get hurt or say \"I have a headache\". I will no longer turn a blind eye to the long term effects of ignoring the phrase. \n What the normal fan or anyone who hasn't played the game at a high level doesn't know is the stress and depression that comes with leaving the game. I'd equate it to being the same as losing a spouse of 30+ years but add 100 blows to the head every day of each year. You already feel lost and meaningless but you also have years of brain damage which inflates the process. \n I grew up with a love for football because of its culture, all the great things it taught me, and the qualities it brought out of me and my \"brothers\", my teammates. BUT all of that is not worth my life after football. The fact of the matter is we as a society have turned a blind eye to the long term effects of playing football and I refuse to be a part of the problem any longer.]\n\n\n\nWhen I wrote this post I was in tears because I had a full range of emotions running through me. \nThe scary part is that’s only me looking at the surface of the issue which is only talking about emotionally. But why?\n\n (install 1. End)",

| title | Hello Steemit! -First Blog post |
| body | I am very excited to be here and I plan to embrace this entire platform when I feel. \nThe scary part is that’s only me looking at the surface of the issue which is only talking about emotionally. But why?\n\n (install 1. End)",
