      "body": "William James coined the term \"Stream of consciousness\" meaning the flow of thoughts through the conscious mind that an individual can be aware of. The Buddhists called it Mind Stream. \n\nStream of consciousness in writing is a literary device that attempts to give the experience of the character's or writer's thought process either in a loose interior monologue or in connection to their actions. Essentially, a flow state of writing based upon the thoughts entering the conscious mind freely.\n\nLately, ehh errr.. I suppose the last few years actually, I've been fully invested in psychology, religious studies, philosophy, and anything even tangentially related that I can get my hands on. The door opens wider as well with the more you learn. You're forced to explore different avenues. But the paradox still sticks with the more you learn, the less you seem to know. \n\nAnyway, here are my thoughts my friends. I will be posting many more of these. But maybe that's just another way us humans NEED control. The desire to expand both in duration and depth the positive experience in which we're having, and minimize the likelihood of of oscillating back to the other side of the pole- base reality or ego experience. \n\nEver since fast tracking my journey within a few years back, I've had experiences that words would only insult. All experience is ineffable. But what's an experience when you're not experiencing yet being experienced? \n\nA sort of time taking control of your self, if you will. But this \"time\" is in your head. And in your stream of consciousness it seems to jump between future oriented dreams, and past oriented fictions (as that's what they are, let's not forget). Very rarely do we stay NOW.\n\nNow now, \"now\" is quite the nebulous term. As even hazier is its concept. We can't seem to fully grasp the now. Well how can we when its shrouded in what seems to be a mystery beyond our minds. How long is now? Is there even now? Is this mine or our now? \n\nIf you'd enjoy royally fucking your brain up around the ideas of time i'd suggest reading Einstein's Dreams\" by Alan Lightman. There is no hate in the now, just love. There is no worry, for that left with ego. There is the unadulterated recognition of what Heraclitus knew to be the state of constant change.
