body![cash.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmaR2SQoLuHYAimDGdHTyaqo9CFf4MNHjajmq7uiiukRjZ/cash.png) Ibotta is an easy-to-use cash-back app that’s partnered with more than 50 retailers, just about anywhere you’d do any kind of shopping. Before heading to the store, search for items on your shopping list within the app. Strawberries? Check. An ear of corn? Check. Add each cash-back opportunity to your list in the app. Then shop. When you get home, snap a photo of your receipt and scan the items’ barcodes. Bam. Cash back. Some cash-back opportunities we’ve seen include: 25 cents back for any item. 25 cents back on strawberries $1.50 back on Energizer batteries. $2 back on L’Oreal hair color. $3 back on Pampers pull-ups. $5 back on a case of Shiner Bock beer. Notice some of those aren’t tied to a brand — just shop for the staples on your list, and earn cash back! Ibotta is free to download. Plus, you’ll get a $10 sign-up bonus after uploading your first receipt.

body![money.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQme52oksGzpgUryX6X71n8Sk5M7vH4kzep1U5qvHN9QHWP/money.jpg) Does earning $60 an hour sound appealing? How about the freedom to work from home while helping others succeed? Those are the perks of working as a bookkeeper, says Ben Robinson, a certified public accountant and business owner who teaches others to become virtual bookkeepers. And no, you don’t have to have a CPA to be successful in this business. In fact, all you really need are decent computer skills and a passion for helping business owners tackle real-world problems. It’s a great opportunity for moms who want to work part time, millennials who are just out of college and anyone who wants to bring in real money while working from home. We talked to Robinson about what it takes to become a virtual bookkeeper, as well as tips and advice for making this career track work for you. You can read the full interview here, or check out his website for more information.

But there’s a certain appeal to clicking a few buttons and earning money when you’d otherwise be doing nothing. Here’s our recommendation: Sign up for these legitimate survey sites all at once. Chances are, you’ll qualify for at least one or two surveys on each site a month, and the rewards will add up. Here are some of our favorite paid survey sites: Swagbucks is definitely a reader favorite, probably because of the wide variety of ways to make money beyond taking surveys. Plus, you get $5 just for signing up and taking your first survey. MyPoints: This platform lets you earn gift cards for taking polls, answering surveys and other things you do online — a great way to cash in on long lines or an endless commute. You’ll earn a $5 bonus when you complete your first five surveys. Survey Junkie’s clean look and “cashout wheel” keep you motivated to take as many surveys as you want. They're relatively quick to complete and reward you with points. Once you earn 1,000 points — or $10 — you can cash out for gift cards or cash paid via PayPal. VIP Voice surveys are relatively quick to complete and reward you with points you can redeem for cash or gift cards. Plan to login a few times each week. You’ll have no trouble earning an extra $30 this month with almost no work

Sign up for a Bank Bonus — $150-$200 We've put together a list of our favorite bank promotions happening right now. These banks will pay you up to $300 just to open a new account! It's up to you to decide how to manage several bank accounts. Some of us find it's helpful to have multiple places to stick our money for various purposes — we're less likely to touch it that way. You could always open an account, collect the bonus, and close it when you're no longer using it — just make sure you read the details and know the requirements you need to meet to earn the bonus. 2. Rent out Your Extra Baby Stuff With This App — $20+ Traveling with kids can be rewarding, but also very challenging. The goBaby app aims to make it a little easier on parents — while giving other parents the chance to make some extra cash. Packing and hauling baby stuff across airports, planes, trains and automobiles sucks, and it might even cost you extra money. Through the goBaby app, New York City-based mother of two Natalie Kaminski created a parent-to-parent marketplace where traveling parents could rent baby gear like strollers, car seats and other items from local parents with the same to spare. This Airbnb-style exchange for baby supplies is available in New York City and will be launching soon in Boston, Miami, San Francisco and Chicago. If you live in one of these cities, use the app to monetize the baby gear you already own! Here’s how it works: Download the app for free here. Take a photo of the item you want to rent out. Add a brief description, and set your price. Choose whether you’ll deliver the item or have the renter pick it up. Give the item to the renter, and get it back within the scheduled dates. Get paid. Repeat! 9. Sign up for a New Credit Card — $1,425 One of the best ways for a Penny Hoarder to make some serious extra cash is to take advantage of credit card sign-up bonuses. Of course, to get the most benefit, you should have excellent credit, and pay off your card in full each month so you're not paying interest. (After all, every time you pay interest, you're losing some of the positive effects of the bonuses.) For those of you wondering, here's how opening and closing credit cards affects your credit score (Hint: You can do it without causing too much harm). 3. Get Paid to Take Surveys — $5 You're going to be online anyway… why not get paid while you're there? PointClub is awesome because you’ll get points for every single survey you take — guaranteed. Plus, the company gives you $5 just for signing up! Once you accrue enough of them, you can redeem those points for gift cards to a ton of useful vendors like Walmart, Amazon and PayPal. 4Do Your Shopping via Ebates — $10 Believe it or not, some sites will give you free gift cards just for signing up with them. One of our favorites is Ebates, a cash back shopping site. It's giving away $10 gift cards if you sign up as a new member and earn your first cash-back rebate. You can choose a $10 gift card for Walmart or $10 in Ebates cash for your next shopping trip on the site. To earn your gift card: Sign up for Ebates here with your email or Facebook account. Make your first purchase through the site within 90 days, and spend at least $25. Your account will be credited with rewards points you cash in for your $10 gift card.

Automate Your Savings With Acorns — $5 Acorns is a simple savings and investment app that rounds your credit or debit card purchases up to the nearest dollar and invests the digital change. You can connect the app to your credit or debit card and let it automatically round up all your transactions, or manually round up only the ones you choose. Contributor CJ Reid does the latter, accepting roundups of less than $0.50, such as his $3.60 cup of coffee. “Rounding up 40 cents here and 25 cents there moves me swiftly enough to $5 so that I can begin investing without putting myself into the red,” she says. Once your round ups reach $5, that amount will be transferred from your bank to your Acorns account, and invested into your chosen portfolio. “Acorns makes it easy to invest by removing the responsibility of choosing individual investments or worrying about trades,” Reid explains. “You don’t need any previous investment knowledge or history.” And once you get the process automated, Acorns investments make your digital change work for you. “With a conservative portfolio,” Reid says, “I turned $15 into $19 within a few weeks.” You can sign up and download the app here. 2. Snap a Picture of Your Receipt With Ibotta — $10 Ibotta is an easy-to-use cash-back app that’s partnered with more than 50 retailers, just about anywhere you’d do any kind of shopping. Before heading to the store, search for items on your shopping list within the app. Strawberries? Check. An ear of corn? Check. Add each cash-back opportunity to your list in the app. Then shop. When you get home, snap a photo of your receipt and scan the items’ barcodes. Bam. Cash back. Some cash-back opportunities we’ve seen include: 25 cents back for any item 25 cents back on strawberries 50 cents back on frozen fruit snacks $1 back on a box of tea $5 back on a case of Shiner Bock beer Notice a lot of those aren’t tied to a brand — just shop for the staples on your list, and earn cash back! Ibotta is free to download. Plus, you’ll get a $10 sign-up bonus after uploading your first receipt. Read our Ibotta review for all the details. 3. Complete a Few Surveys — $5 A number of sites will pay you to read advertiser’s emails, sign up for offers and take surveys. We’ve tried about a million of them (OK… we've lost count), but there are only a few we'd recommend. MyPoints: This platform lets you earn gift cards for taking polls, answering surveys and other things you do online — a great way to cash in on long lines or an endless commute. You’ll earn a $5 bonus when you complete your first five surveys. 4. Start Investing With Stash — $5 It’s no brilliant secret that investing can be a smart way to make money. Sometimes, though, it feels restricted to a few wealthy elite. But Stash is different. This app lets you start investing with as little as $5 and for just a $1 monthly fee for balances under $5,000. Stash curates investments from professional fund managers and investors and lets you choose where to put your money. But it leaves the complicated investment terms out of it. You just choose from a set of simple portfolios reflecting your beliefs, interests and goals. Bonus: Right now, The Penny Hoarder is teaming up with Stash to fund your first investment — so you’ll get a $5 bonus when you enter the code PENNYH 5. Clear Your Old CD Tower — $5+ Have a bunch of movies or CDs collecting dust on a shelf? Decluttr will pay you for them! Decluttr buys your old CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays and video games, plus hardware like cell phones, tablets, game consoles and iPods. Automate Your Savings With Acorns — $5\nAcorns is a simple savings and investment app that rounds your credit or debit card purchases up to the nearest dollar and invests the digital change.\n\nYou can connect the app to your credit or debit card and let it automatically round up all your transactions, or manually round up only the ones you choose.\n\nContributor CJ Reid does the latter, accepting roundups of less than $0.50, such as his $3.60 cup of coffee.\n\n“Rounding up 40 cents here and 25 cents there moves me swiftly enough to $5 so that I can begin investing without putting myself into the red,” she says.\n\nOnce your round ups reach $5, that amount will be transferred from your bank to your Acorns account, and invested into your chosen portfolio.\n\n“Acorns makes it easy to invest by removing the responsibility of choosing individual investments or worrying about trades,” Reid explains. “You don’t need any previous investment knowledge or history.”\n\nAnd once you get the process automated, Acorns investments make your digital change work for you.\n\n“With a conservative portfolio,” Reid says, “I turned $15 into $19 within a few weeks.”\n\nYou can sign up and download the app here.\n\n2. Snap a Picture of Your Receipt With Ibotta — $10 \nIbotta is an easy-to-use cash-back app that’s partnered with more than 50 retailers, just about anywhere you’d do any kind of shopping.\n\nBefore heading to the store, search for items on your shopping list within the app. Strawberries? Check. An ear of corn? Check. Add each cash-back opportunity to your list in the app.\n\nThen shop.\n\nWhen you get home, snap a photo of your receipt and scan the items’ barcodes.\n\nBam. Cash back.\n\nSome cash-back opportunities we’ve seen include:\n\n25 cents back for any item\n25 cents back on strawberries\n50 cents back on frozen fruit snacks\n$1 back on a box of tea\n$5 back on a case of Shiner Bock beer\nNotice a lot of those aren’t tied to a brand — just shop for the staples on your list, and earn cash back!\n\nIbotta is free to download. Plus, you’ll get a $10 sign-up bonus after uploading your first receipt. Read our Ibotta review for all the details.\n\n3. Complete a Few Surveys — $5\nA number of sites will pay you to read advertiser’s emails, sign up for offers and take surveys.\n\nWe’ve tried about a million of them (OK… we've lost count), but there are only a few we'd recommend.\n\nMyPoints: This platform lets you earn gift cards for taking polls, answering surveys and other things you do online — a great way to cash in on long lines or an endless commute.\n\nYou’ll earn a $5 bonus when you complete your first five surveys.\n\n4. Start Investing With Stash — $5\nIt’s no brilliant secret that investing can be a smart way to make money.\n\nSometimes, though, it feels restricted to a few wealthy elite.\n\nBut Stash is different. This app lets you start investing with as little as $5 and for just a $1 monthly fee for balances under $5,000.\n\nStash curates investments from professional fund managers and investors and lets you choose where to put your money.\n\nBut it leaves the complicated investment terms out of it. You just choose from a set of simple portfolios reflecting your beliefs, interests and goals.\n\nBonus: Right now, The Penny Hoarder is teaming up with Stash to fund your first investment — so you’ll get a $5 bonus when you enter the code PENNYH\n\n5. Clear Your Old CD Tower — $5+\nHave a bunch of movies or CDs collecting dust on a shelf? Decluttr will pay you for them!\n\nDecluttr buys your old CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays and video games, plus hardware like cell phones, tablets, game consoles and iPods.\n\nWe talked to one user, Gil Flores, who sold about 100 DVDs and 75 CDs and made $275 — an average of $1.57 each.\n\nJust download the app and start scanning the barcodes on your media to get immediate quotes. body![maxresdefault (1).jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXF3oumDdRgEiQb4VAqPrPaB96a91ASkbh4bJRkA44JwU/maxresdefault%20(1).jpg)how to make money on the internetWe don’t believe in “get rich quick” schemes, nor in “magic formulas”. That being said, we do think it is possible to make money fast on the Internet, especially if you are willing to put in some effort. Below we cover 4 methods that really work. Again, they won’t make you rich overnight, but they are worth it if you are needing money fast for one reason or another. For example, you could need $300 to get a web design for your latest project, or $200 to pay a bill that came up unexpectedly. Depending on your expertise and on how hard you are willing to work, you could raise such money within a week. And if you keep working on any of these methods over a longer term you could definitely multiply your earnings, as they all represent solid online business models. The Only Requirement: A Paypal Account If you don’t have one yet, go sign-up for a Paypal account before you try any of the methods below (it is free, by the way). This is an essential step because Paypal is the most used platform for online payments, and it will allow you to collect money in a wide range of situations. You’ll then be able to purchase goods online with your Paypal funds, and on most countries you’ll also be able to transfer your Paypal funds directly to your credit card or bank account. The 4 Methods to Make Money Fast on The Internet selling ebooksBefore we proceed with the methods, keep one thing in mind: you should not spread yourself too thin by trying all the methods at the same time. Choose the one that fits well with your skills, and focus your energies on it, until you get the desired results. Method 1: Selling an eBook Selling information online is a a very profitable business model, and selling eBooks is the fastest and easiest way to get started in this segment. Choosing The Topic First of all you need to identify a topic for your eBook. Ideally it should be something that will solve a problem people have. Here are some examples: Tips and tricks to make old PCs run faster. A list of foods that worsen or improve acne. Secrets to approach women and get more dates. A blueprint to ace job interviews. As you can see, all these topics touch on pain points that many people have, and as a consequence it will be much easier to sell such eBooks. If you want some insights regarding the problems people are trying to solve, visit some online forums (this website lists a bunch of them) or check Yahoo! Answers. Spend some time writing down a list of problems you have identified. After that evaluate which of them are related to your areas of expertise or interest, as this will make writing the eBook a much easier task. The graph below illustrates this concept. topics and interests Writing and Creating the eBook Once you have chosen a topic, start writing your eBook right away. Aim to get at least 30 pages of pure content (the more the better, though), and make sure that your information will be top notch. If necessary research online to fill any blanks or to complement your material. Remember to add images and to proofread the text a couple of times at least. It is perfectly possible to write 30 pages in three or four days, so roll up your sleeves and just do it! Once the eBook is ready to go you’ll just need to transform it into a PDF document. This is very easy to do with the OpenOffice suite (which is free). Open the “Writer” text editor, put your eBook there (including the front page, the text and the images), add a footer if you want, format everything, and then use the “Export as PDF” function. Designing the Sales Page The next step is to create a sales page for your eBook. If you already have a blog or website, you could simply create an internal page and use it as a sales page. If you don’t have a website, you’ll need to buy a domain name and get a hosting plan. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you much. The domain will cost around $10, and the hosting plan from $5 to $10 monthly. In other words, you should be able to recover your investment within the first week if you sell a couple of eBooks. Here are some basic guidelines to follow when creating your sales page: Use a catchy headline to hook the attention of your visitors. Tell a story explaining where you are coming from, what problems you had, and how the information in the eBook helped you solve them. Focus on the benefits the prospect will get from your eBook. Include some testimonials (you can give your eBook for some people in exchange for their testimonial). Include a 3D cover of the eBook. You can either ask a friend to design one for you, or try to do it yourself if you have Photoshop and some design skills (here is a tutorial for that). Place a large and visible “Buy it Now” button at the bottom. Offer a 30-day money back guarantee. This will increase your sales, because it removes the risk factor, and it will also ensure you’ll not have problems with people filing chargebacks and Paypal disputes. Setting Up The Payment/Delivery System At this point you’ll need a system to accept payments and deliver the eBook automatically. The easiest way to do this is with a website called E-junkie. They’ll charge you a fee of $5 monthly, but it is worth the money. You just need to configure your account, upload your PDF, and get the link where people can buy your eBook. Then you’ll set that link on your “Buy It Now!” button, and once people click there they’ll be redirected to Paypal. The money will go straight to your account, and once the payment is confirmed E-junkie will send the customer an email with his download link. What about the price? There are basically three price points that perform well with eBooks: $4.95, $9.95 and $19.95. There are eBooks priced higher, obviously, but usually they have over 100 pages and are published by established experts/websites. If this is not your case, going with a lower price point will maximize your earnings. Another option you have is to search for similar eBooks available online, and see how much they cost. Driving Traffic to the Sales Page Everything should be ready to go on your sales page now (test is a couple of times to make sure), so it is time to start driving traffic there! Remember that it is a numbers game. Your conversion rate (i.e., the percentage of visitors who will end up buying) will be small no matter what, so the more traffic you can send to your sales page, the more money you’ll make. The first tactic you can use to get traffic is to comment on blogs, while making the comment link point to your sales page. Make a list of 20 or 30 blogs in your niche, and commit to write a couple of comments on each of them, every day. Second, you can also use online forums. Create an account on large forums related to your niche, and promote your eBook whenever you feel it is feasible. You can also put a link to your sales page in your signature. Again, if you want to see results, you’ll need to join three or four large forums, and post a dozen of posts on each of them, every day. Third, you can use E-junkie’s inbuilt affiliate program and convince some bloggers and webmasters to promote your eBook, in exchange for a commission. Just make list of blogs where the audience could be interested in your eBook, and approach the blog owner proposing the affiliate deal. Consider that 50% commissions are standard in the industry, so if you want to convince established bloggers you might need to offer as much as 70% of the cover price as affiliate commission. An alternative approach is to write guest posts for these blogs, and to include a link to your sales page in the byline. This strategy will allow you to build a relationship with the blogger, too, which might be useful to convince him to promote your eBook as an affiliate in the future. Finally, you can use social media to drive traffic to your sales page. Twitter and Facebook and the largest players here, and you should definitely give them a shot. Depending on your eBook, however, you could also try niche social networks, as they will provide you with a more targeted audience. Method 2: Affiliate Marketing on-target2If researching and writing an eBook is not for you, you should consider affiliate marketing. You’ll basically be promoting the products of other companies, and they will pay you a commission for each sale or lead you refer to them. Deciding Between CPS and CPA Affiliate marketing is divided into two main models: CPS and CPA. CPS stands for cost-per-sale, and under this model you’ll earn a commission whenever a visitor you refer to the merchant’s website makes a purchase. CPS commissions range from $10 up to $100 or more. CPA stands for cost-per-action, and under this model you’ll earn a commission whenever a visitor you refer to the merchant’s website perform a required action, such as completing a survey or submitting his email address. CPA commissions range from $0.50 up to $2. Which model should you choose? It depends on your skills. If you are good at generating traffic, then the CPA model might work better for you, because conversion rates are naturally high with those offers, since the visitor will not need to spend any money. If you are good with copywriting, on the other hand, the CPS model might work better. As long as you can convince people to buy, you won’t need as much traffic to make a decent amount of money. Finding An Offer If you opted for the CPA model, you’ll now need to create an account with a CPA network. Max Bounty is one of the best around, with a wide range of campaigns and good payouts. Once your account is active, just browse through their market place and look for offers you could promote. Remember that offers in a niche you are familiar with should get your preference, since you’ll be able to promote them more easily (either by leveraging your existing website/contacts, or by writing new content related to the offer). If you opted for a CPS model, you’ll need to make a further choice. That is, you need to decide whether you want to promote information products (e.g., eBooks and training programs) or physical goods and services. For the former, join ClickBank and browser their marketplace to find a suitable offer. If you want to promote physical goods instead, you can join Commission Junction or Share A Sale. Designing Your Pre-Sell Page Having a landing page to pre-sell your offer is very important, because visitors will see your information as an unbiased review of the product they are considering to buy (at least this is the goal). Secondly, the pre-sell page allows you to complement the sales pitch of the merchant, making sure the visitor will be ready to buy once he clicks through your affiliate link. The same principles we listed for the eBook sales page apply here, with some minor modifications: Use a catchy headline to hook the attention of your visitors. Tell a story explaining where you are coming from, what problems you had, and how the product you are promoting solved them. Focus on the benefits the prospect will get from the product, and not on its features. Review important aspects of the product and add screenshots if suitable. Don’t be afraid to point out some negative aspects, too, as this will make your review look more balanced. Explain who would benefit from the product, and who would not. Highlight how much it costs, and explain why you think it is worth the money. Link to the merchant’s website using your affiliate link. Consider using affiliate banners in different positions of your landing page, too, as this will increase the chances of the visitor clicking through. Keep in mind that the pre-sell page is not that important for CPA offers, because it is much easier to convince visitors to perform a task that won’t cost them money. You could test with it anyway and compare the results. Driving Traffic to Your Offers Whether you want to drive traffic to your pre-sell page or to your CPA offers directly, you can use the same methods we mentioned in the previous method. They include blog comments, posts in online forums, guest blogging and social networks. Another traffic generation technique that works pretty well with affiliate offers is article marketing. That is, you’ll write articles on topics related to the offers you are promoting, and then you’ll submit them to article directories (here is a list with 50 of them). Most article directories allow you to include a link in the author byline, and you can use that to send traffic either to your pre-sell page or directly to your CPA offers. If you know a bit about SEO and linkbuilding, you could also try to get your articles ranked high for relevant keywords, which would bring you additional traffic from search engines. Method 3: Freelance Writing freelance writingIf you like to write, freelance writing could be the ideal way to make some money fast on the Internet. Freelance Marketplaces Your first stop should be the three large freelance marketplaces: eLance, Freelancer.com and Guru.com. Just sign-up for an account (which is free) and you’ll be able to bid on job requests. There are all sorts of writing jobs in these marketplaces, including article writing, copywriting, article rewriting and editing, technical writing, researching and so on. You’ll need to start in the low end of the pay scale (e.g., $5 or $10 per 400-word article), but once you get some loyal clients your earnings will increase. Writing for Blogs If you prefer to have a more stable position instead of tackling writing jobs here and there, you should look for blogs that are hiring writers. The pay rate ranges from $5 up to $30 or more per blog post, but if you are starting out expect your earnings to be in the lower end. The advantage of this model is that you’ll know forehand how much you’ll make per week (since most positions specify how many posts you need to write weekly or monthly). In the three freelance marketplaces mentioned above you’ll also find blogging jobs. Alternatively you can check the Problogger Job Board. Demand Studios Demand Studios is a company that provides content for a wide range of websites on the Internet. Great part of this content comes from freelance writers, who earn a flat fee per article submitted. If you want to write for them you’ll need to submit an application with a resume and two writing samples. Within a couple of days they’ll reply via email with an acceptance or a rejection. Accepted writers can choose topics they are interested in and submit articles. You can earn anywhere from $5 up to $15 per article, and payments are sent once a week via Paypal. Revenue Sharing Sites There are many websites on the Internet that share their revenues with people willing to contribute content. Two popular ones are eHow, which pays a percentage of each advertising click generated from your articles, and AssociatedContent, which pays a flat fee for each 1,000 page views that your articles will receive. Making money with these websites will not be as fast as with other methods, but one advantage is the fact that you’ll be building passive income streams. In other words, once your article is published, you’ll keep earning for months, and possibly years to come. Obviously you’ll need to promote your articles if you want them to rank high in search engines and receive a good amount of traffic. Method 4: Selling Stuff on eBay auctioneBay is the largest online marketplace. It started as an auction website, but some years ago it introduced the “Buy It Now” feature, enabling sellers to sell their items for a fixed price. If you are willing to manage product listings and to ship stuff around the world, eBay could be the right place to make some quick money. Selling Your Own Stuff The first thing you could try to sell on eBay is the stuff hanging around your house that you are not using anymore. Examples include furniture, computers, gadgets, collections and so on. The auction model might be more suitable to sell this kind of items, as you are not sure how much they are worth. Buying Stuff to Sell If you want to take your eBay business to the next level you could start buying stuff to re-sell on eBay. First of all you need to choose a product category you want to work with (e.g., mobile phones or pet supplies). After that you’ll need to find a wholesaler in your region, where you’ll be able to buy the items in bulk for a discounted price. Then you’ll just need to setup the listings for each item you are selling. The “Buy It Now” model might work better here, because it allows you to sell faster and with a defined profit margin. You can always try both models and see which one works better, too. Using a Drop Shipper If you don’t want to have trouble buying, storing and shipping the items you’ll sell, you can try the drop shipping model. You’ll basically just manage the listings on eBay, and once an item is purchased you’ll forward the order and shipping details to the drop shipper, along with the money for the product. Obviously the price you’ll charge the customer on eBay must be higher than what you’ll pay the drop shipper, as that is what will create your profit margin. As we mentioned before, the main advertising of this model is the fact that you won’t need to worry about storing and shipping the items. Secondly, it allows you to sell a much wider range of products, since they will be provided directly by the drop shipper. You just need to be careful to find a reliable company to work with. WholesaleCentral.com is a website you can use to find wholesales and drop shippers. Questions you want to ask the company before going forward include: what is the minimum order volume, whether the products are going to be shipped with your name on the stamp, what is the return policy and so on. General Tips to Sell on eBay Figuring out what you are going to sell on eBay is only half of the battle. Now you need to actually sell it! And trust us, and it is not as easy as it looks. First of all make sure that your headlines are catchy. Most eBay users just scan through the listings, and only click on the ones that call their attention for one reason or another. Second, make sure to include appealing images. Place the best one close to the headline, and many closeups in the description of the product. Most eBay users completely ignore listings without images. Third, aim to get positive feedback early on (i.e., do whatever you need to satisfy your buyers), and keep your seller rating as high as possible. Remember that trust is a major factor when people need to decide whether they will buy or not on eBay. Fourth, offer as many payment options as possible. If you don’t, some users will get skeptical, and others will plainly not be able to purchase the item or bid on the auction. Fifth, charge a fair shipping price, and make sure you learn how to ship sold items as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Shipping plays an important role in the feedback you’ll receive as a seller.

That being said, we do think it is possible to make money fast on the Internet, especially if you are willing to put in some effort. Below we cover 4 methods that really work.\n\nAgain, they won’t make you rich overnight, but they are worth it if you are needing money fast for one reason or another. For example, you could need $300 to get a web design for your latest project, or $200 to pay a bill that came up unexpectedly. Depending on your expertise and on how hard you are willing to work, you could raise such money within a week.\n\nAnd if you keep working on any of these methods over a longer term you could definitely multiply your earnings, as they all represent solid online business models. \n\nThe Only Requirement: A Paypal Account\nIf you don’t have one yet, go sign-up for a Paypal account before you try any of the methods below (it is free, by the way). This is an essential step because Paypal is the most used platform for online payments, and it will allow you to collect money in a wide range of situations. \n\nYou’ll then be able to purchase goods online with your Paypal funds, and on most countries you’ll also be able to transfer your Paypal funds directly to your credit card or bank account. \n\nThe 4 Methods to Make Money Fast on The Internet\nselling ebooksBefore we proceed with the methods, keep one thing in mind: you should not spread yourself too thin by trying all the methods at the same time. Choose the one that fits well with your skills, and focus your energies on it, until you get the desired results.\n\nMethod 1: Selling an eBook\nSelling information online is a a very profitable business model, and selling eBooks is the fastest and easiest way to get started in this segment. \n\nChoosing The Topic\n\nFirst of all you need to identify a topic for your eBook. Ideally it should be something that will solve a problem people have. Here are some examples:\n\nTips and tricks to make old PCs run faster.\nA list of foods that worsen or improve acne.\nSecrets to approach women and get more dates.\nA blueprint to ace job interviews.\nAs you can see, all these topics touch on pain points that many people have, and as a consequence it will be much easier to sell such eBooks. If you want some insights regarding the problems people are trying to solve, visit some online forums (this website lists a bunch of them) or check Yahoo! Answers. \n\nSpend some time writing down a list of problems you have identified. After that evaluate which of them are related to your areas of expertise or interest, as this will make writing the eBook a much easier task. The graph below illustrates this concept. \n\ntopics and interests\n\nWriting and Creating the eBook\n\nOnce you have chosen a topic, start writing your eBook right away. Aim to get at least 30 pages of pure content (the more the better, though), and make sure that your information will be top notch. If necessary research online to fill any blanks or to complement your material. Remember to add images and to proofread the text a couple of times at least. \n\nIt is perfectly possible to write 30 pages in three or four days, so roll up your sleeves and just do it!\n\nOnce the eBook is ready to go you’ll just need to transform it into a PDF document. This is very easy to do with the OpenOffice suite (which is free). Open the “Writer” text editor, put your eBook there (including the front page, the text and the images), add a footer if you want, format everything, and then use the “Export as PDF” function.\n\nDesigning the Sales Page\n\nThe next step is to create a sales page for your eBook. \n\nHere are some basic guidelines to follow when creating your sales page:\n\nUse a catchy headline to hook the attention of your visitors.\nTell a story explaining where you are coming from, what problems you had, and how the information in the eBook helped you solve them.\nFocus on the benefits the prospect will get from your eBook.\nInclude some testimonials (you can give your eBook for some people in exchange for their testimonial).\nInclude a 3D cover of the eBook. You can either ask a friend to design one for you, or try to do it yourself if you have Photoshop and some design skills (here is a tutorial for that).\nPlace a large and visible “Buy it Now” button at the bottom.\nOffer a 30-day money back guarantee. This will increase your sales, because it removes the risk factor, and it will also ensure you’ll not have problems with people filing chargebacks and Paypal disputes.\nSetting Up The Payment/Delivery System\n\nAt this point you’ll need a system to accept payments and deliver the eBook automatically. \n\nWhat about the price? There are basically three price points that perform well with eBooks: $4.95, $9.95 and $19.95. There are eBooks priced higher, obviously, but usually they have over 100 pages and are published by established experts/websites. If this is not your case, going with a lower price point will maximize your earnings.\n\nAnother option you have is to search for similar eBooks available online, and see how much they cost. \n\nDriving Traffic to the Sales Page\n\nEverything should be ready to go on your sales page now (test is a couple of times to make sure), so it is time to start driving traffic there! Remember that it is a numbers game. Your conversion rate (i.e., the percentage of visitors who will end up buying) will be small no matter what, so the more traffic you can send to your sales page, the more money you’ll make. \n\nThe first tactic you can use to get traffic is to comment on blogs, while making the comment link point to your sales page. Make a list of 20 or 30 blogs in your niche, and commit to write a couple of comments on each of them, every day. \n\nSecond, you can also use online forums. Create an account on large forums related to your niche, and promote your eBook whenever you feel it is feasible. You can also put a link to your sales page in your signature. Again, if you want to see results, you’ll need to join three or four large forums, and post a dozen of posts on each of them, every day.\n\nThird, you can use E-junkie’s inbuilt affiliate program and convince some bloggers and webmasters to promote your eBook, in exchange for a commission. Just make list of blogs where the audience could be interested in your eBook, and approach the blog owner proposing the affiliate deal. Consider that 50% commissions are standard in the industry, so if you want to convince established bloggers you might need to offer as much as 70% of the cover price as affiliate commission. \n\nAn alternative approach is to write guest posts for these blogs, and to include a link to your sales page in the byline. This strategy will allow you to build a relationship with the blogger, too, which might be useful to convince him to promote your eBook as an affiliate in the future. \n\nFinally, you can use social media to drive traffic to your sales page. Twitter and Facebook and the largest players here, and you should definitely give them a shot. Depending on your eBook, however, you could also try niche social networks, as they will provide you with a more targeted audience. \n\nMethod 2: Affiliate Marketing\non-target2If researching and writing an eBook is not for you, you should consider affiliate marketing. You’ll basically be promoting the products of other companies, and they will pay you a commission for each sale or lead you refer to them. \n\nDeciding Between CPS and CPA\n\nAffiliate marketing is divided into two main models: CPS and CPA. \n\nCPS stands for cost-per-sale, and under this model you’ll earn a commission whenever a visitor you refer to the merchant’s website makes a purchase. CPS commissions range from $10 up to $100 or more. \n\nCPA stands for cost-per-action, and under this model you’ll earn a commission whenever a visitor you refer to the merchant’s website perform a required action, such as completing a survey or submitting his email address. CPA commissions range from $0.50 up to $2.\n\nWhich model should you choose? It depends on your skills. If you are good at generating traffic, then the CPA model might work better for you, because conversion rates are naturally high with those offers, since the visitor will not need to spend any money.\n\nIf you are good with copywriting, on the other hand, the CPS model might work better. As long as you can convince people to buy, you won’t need as much traffic to make a decent amount of money. \n\nFinding An Offer\n\nIf you opted for the CPA model, you’ll now need to create an account with a CPA network. \n\nIf you opted for a CPS model, you’ll need to make a further choice. That is, you need to decide whether you want to promote information products (e.g., eBooks and training programs) or physical goods and services. For the former, join ClickBank and browser their marketplace to find a suitable offer. If you want to promote physical goods instead, you can join Commission Junction or Share A Sale. \n\nDesigning Your Pre-Sell Page\n\nHaving a landing page to pre-sell your offer is very important, because visitors will see your information as an unbiased review of the product they are considering to buy (at least this is the goal). Secondly, the pre-sell page allows you to complement the sales pitch of the merchant, making sure the visitor will be ready to buy once he clicks through your affiliate link. \n\n The same principles we listed for the eBook sales page apply here, with some minor modifications:\n\nUse a catchy headline to hook the attention of your visitors.\nTell a story explaining where you are coming from, what problems you had, and how the product you are promoting solved them.\nFocus on the benefits the prospect will get from the product, and not on its features.\nReview important aspects of the product and add screenshots if suitable.\nDon’t be afraid to point out some negative aspects, too, as this will make your review look more balanced.\nExplain who would benefit from the product, and who would not.\nHighlight how much it costs, and explain why you think it is worth the money.\nLink to the merchant’s website using your affiliate link.\nConsider using affiliate banners in different positions of your landing page, too, as this will increase the chances of the visitor clicking through.\nKeep in mind that the pre-sell page is not that important for CPA offers, because it is much easier to convince visitors to perform a task that won’t cost them money. You could test with it anyway and compare the results.\n\nDriving Traffic to Your Offers\n\nWhether you want to drive traffic to your pre-sell page or to your CPA offers directly, you can use the same methods we mentioned in the previous method. They include blog comments, posts in online forums, guest blogging and social networks. \n\nAnother traffic generation technique that works pretty well with affiliate offers is article marketing. That is, you’ll write articles on topics related to the offers you are promoting, and then you’ll submit them to article directories (here is a list with 50 of them). Most article directories allow you to include a link in the author byline, and you can use that to send traffic either to your pre-sell page or directly to your CPA offers.\n\nIf you know a bit about SEO and linkbuilding, you could also try to get your articles ranked high for relevant keywords, which would bring you additional traffic from search engines. \n\nMethod 3: Freelance Writing\nfreelance writingIf you like to write, freelance writing could be the ideal way to make some money fast on the Internet. \n\nFreelance Marketplaces\n\nYour first stop should be the three large freelance marketplaces: eLance, Freelancer.com and Guru.com. Just sign-up for an account (which is free) and you’ll be able to bid on job requests. \n\nThere are all sorts of writing jobs in these marketplaces, including article writing, copywriting, article rewriting and editing, technical writing, researching and so on. You’ll need to start in the low end of the pay scale (e.g., $5 or $10 per 400-word article), but once you get some loyal clients your earnings will increase.\n\nWriting for Blogs\n\nIf you prefer to have a more stable position instead of tackling writing jobs here and there, you should look for blogs that are hiring writers. The pay rate ranges from $5 up to $30 or more per blog post, but if you are starting out expect your earnings to be in the lower end. The advantage of this model is that you’ll know forehand how much you’ll make per week (since most positions specify how many posts you need to write weekly or monthly). \n\nIn the three freelance marketplaces mentioned above you’ll also find blogging jobs. Alternatively you can check the Problogger Job Board. \n\nDemand Studios\n\nDemand Studios is a company that provides content for a wide range of websites on the Internet. Great part of this content comes from freelance writers, who earn a flat fee per article submitted. \n\nIf you want to write for them you’ll need to submit an application with a resume and two writing samples. Within a couple of days they’ll reply via email with an acceptance or a rejection. \n\nAccepted writers can choose topics they are interested in and submit articles. You can earn anywhere from $5 up to $15 per article, and payments are sent once a week via Paypal. \n\nRevenue Sharing Sites\n\nThere are many websites on the Internet that share their revenues with people willing to contribute content. body![WEX-Corporate-Bank-to-Bank-Large.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXdtTsFNsgTD3GLvP6kK7qyGGAe9HoD7V4roMUPm6P3u3/WEX-Corporate-Bank-to-Bank-Large.jpg) With online banking and mobile apps for managing your accounts, how often do you actually step into your bank to handle transactions anymore? Direct deposit, remote check capture (the feature that allows you to deposit a check by taking a picture of it with your phone), and online bill pay have largely eliminated the need for you to do your banking with a live person. Enter a new crop of accounts—and even whole banks—that are foregoing their in-person services and instead focusing on innovative online-only features. Want to make the switch to a more tech-savvy financial institution? Whether you’re looking for excellent interest rates at no monthly charge, a sleek app that simplifies your transactions, or a full set of mobile tools that show you where you’re spending each penny, there’s an online-only option for you. Best For Simplicity: GoBank One of the newer players in banking, Green Dot’s GoBank is mobile-only and proud of it. “It’s not a mobile app that was bolted onto an online version of a brick-and-mortar bank,” explained Green Dot founder and CEO Steve Streit at the company’s recent launch. Rather, the bank was created from scratch, optimized to be exclusively mobile and targeted at those who are tired of waiting for their current financial institutions to catch up with the tech world. Within the app, you can open accounts, order debit cards, and pay your bills. Best of all, the app has a transparent fee schedule—you decide how much you want to pay each month between $0 and $9. The voluntary monthly fee shows the creators are pretty sure you’re going to love their app and find it worth your money. If you’re looking to simplify the money you have coming in and out of your account, GoBank makes sense. (Looking to earn high interest rates or establish your savings? Not so much.) Best For Great Interest Rates: Ally Named “Best Online Bank” by Money Magazine in 2012, Ally’s a good choice if you keep higher balances in your accounts and are looking for online savings options that earn strong interest rates. With no maintenance or ATM fees (Ally even reimburses other banks’ ATM fees), Ally offers better interest rates on its checking accounts than many banks do on their savings accounts. The bank recently added mobile check deposits to its app, making the service even more convenient. Best For the Occasional In-Person Transaction: USAA While some of USAA’s products and services are only available to members of the military and their families, its investment products, most checking and savings products, and credit cards are available to civilians, too. Bank accounts include nice perks at no extra cost, such as free checking and savings, free checks and online bill pay, unlimited transfers to any U.S. bank, and more. If you want to do the majority of your banking online, but want to have the option of occasionally doing transactions in person, with USAA you can make deposits at select UPS Store locations. If ATM access is enough for you, the bank will refund other banks’ fees. The big drawback is that mobile deposit options are only available to those who meet certain eligibility requirements based on your account history with the bank and whether you are eligible for its auto or property insurance. Best For No Minimum Balance: Charles Schwab Bank For online checking accounts, Charles Schwab’s High Yield Investor Checking gets some of the best reviews—and with good reason. The account requires no minimum balance (rare for a checking account that earns interest) and charges no monthly service fee, at a time when many large banks are discontinuing their free checking accounts. Plus, you get fee rebates from any ATM worldwide, in addition to having access to online and mobile bill pay and mobile deposit, plus free checks for those who don’t want to do everything by debit card. Best For Managing Your Money: PNC’s Virtual Wallet Okay, PNC isn’t online-only, but the bank’s Virtual Wallet online and mobile banking interface is one of the best I’ve seen from a brick-and-mortar institution. It gives you three ways to group your money: everyday spending and bills, short-term savings, and long-term growth. The Money Bar feature gives you a visual of the money you’ve got going out, the savings you’ve stashed, and what you’ve got left to spend, which helps you to adjust your priorities accordingly. Additional analytics in the tool encourage good budgeting habits and savings. My favorite feature, the calendar described as “a digital assistant that simplifies your banking needs,” shows you everything from your spending habits to bill payment reminders. It will even let you know when your balance might fall below zero, based on the payments you’ve scheduled, so you know when you need to closely watch your spending. And apps for your Apple and Android phones and tablets let you take control of your money wherever you are.

Direct deposit, remote check capture (the feature that allows you to deposit a check by taking a picture of it with your phone), and online bill pay have largely eliminated the need for you to do your banking with a live person.\n\nEnter a new crop of accounts—and even whole banks—that are foregoing their in-person services and instead focusing on innovative online-only features. Want to make the switch to a more tech-savvy financial institution? Whether you’re looking for excellent interest rates at no monthly charge, a sleek app that simplifies your transactions, or a full set of mobile tools that show you where you’re spending each penny, there’s an online-only option for you.\n\nBest For Simplicity: GoBank\nOne of the newer players in banking, Green Dot’s GoBank is mobile-only and proud of it. “It’s not a mobile app that was bolted onto an online version of a brick-and-mortar bank,” explained Green Dot founder and CEO Steve Streit at the company’s recent launch. Rather, the bank was created from scratch, optimized to be exclusively mobile and targeted at those who are tired of waiting for their current financial institutions to catch up with the tech world.\n\nWithin the app, you can open accounts, order debit cards, and pay your bills. Best of all, the app has a transparent fee schedule—you decide how much you want to pay each month between $0 and $9. The voluntary monthly fee shows the creators are pretty sure you’re going to love their app and find it worth your money.\n\nIf you’re looking to simplify the money you have coming in and out of your account, GoBank makes sense. (Looking to earn high interest rates or establish your savings? Not so much.)\n\nBest For Great Interest Rates: Ally\nNamed “Best Online Bank” by Money Magazine in 2012, Ally’s a good choice if you keep higher balances in your accounts and are looking for online savings options that earn strong interest rates. With no maintenance or ATM fees (Ally even reimburses other banks’ ATM fees), Ally offers better interest rates on its checking accounts than many banks do on their savings accounts. The bank recently added mobile check deposits to its app, making the service even more convenient.\n\nBest For the Occasional In-Person Transaction: USAA\nWhile some of USAA’s products and services are only available to members of the military and their families, its investment products, most checking and savings products, and credit cards are available to civilians, too. Bank accounts include nice perks at no extra cost, such as free checking and savings, free checks and online bill pay, unlimited transfers to any U.S. bank, and more.\n\nIf you want to do the majority of your banking online, but want to have the option of occasionally doing transactions in person, with USAA you can make deposits at select UPS Store locations. If ATM access is enough for you, the bank will refund other banks’ fees. The big drawback is that mobile deposit options are only available to those who meet certain eligibility requirements based on your account history with the bank and whether you are eligible for its auto or property insurance.\n\nBest For No Minimum Balance: Charles Schwab Bank\nFor online checking accounts, Charles Schwab’s High Yield Investor Checking gets some of the best reviews—and with good reason. The account requires no minimum balance (rare for a checking account that earns interest) and charges no monthly service fee, at a time when many large banks are discontinuing their free checking accounts. Plus, you get fee rebates from any ATM worldwide, in addition to having access to online and mobile bill pay and mobile deposit, plus free checks for those who don’t want to do everything by debit card.\n\nBest For Managing Your Money: PNC’s Virtual Wallet\nOkay, PNC isn’t online-only, but the bank’s Virtual Wallet online and mobile banking interface is one of the best I’ve seen from a brick-and-mortar institution. It gives you three ways to group your money: everyday spending and bills, short-term savings, and long-term growth. body![Jamal-Khashoggi.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmccp2gsMdaHWWjWoDJ9XxiJ5RRoPRrYWsXS8ZTcTB9CRF/Jamal-Khashoggi.jpg) On 2 October, Jamal Khashoggi, a well-known journalist and critic of the Saudi government, walked into the country's consulate in Istanbul. He has not been seen since. Turkish officials believe he was murdered by a team of Saudi agents inside the building and say they have evidence, including gruesome audio recordings, to back this up. After initial denials and claims that he had left the consulate shortly after arriving, Saudi Arabia has now admitted the journalist is dead. The kingdom says Khashoggi was killed in a "rogue operation" that the leadership had not been aware of. The steady stream of disturbing allegations, along with the complex diplomatic situation, means that it can be difficult to keep track of the full story. So here is what we know about the case. Who was Jamal Khashoggi? A prominent journalist who covered major stories including the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and the rise of Osama Bin Laden for various Saudi news organisations. For decades, he was close to the Saudi royal family and also served as an adviser to the government. But he fell out of favour and went into self-imposed exile in the US last year. From there, he wrote a monthly column in the Washington Post in which he criticised the policies of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Who was Jamal Khashoggi? In his first column for the newspaper, Khashoggi said he feared being arrested in an apparent crackdown on dissent overseen by the prince since he became first in line to succeed his father King Salman. "The people being arrested are not even being dissidents, they just have an independent mind," he told the BBC's Newshour programme just three days before he disappeared. Why was he at the consulate? He first visited the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on 28 September to obtain a document certifying that he had divorced his ex-wife, so that he could marry his Turkish fiancée. ![nz-saudi-201018.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmUjVcaJrVR3anuhApAhsNBp2vxEGDEmtHCrFT3u7LqHrd/nz-saudi-201018.jpg) But he was told he would have to return and arranged to come back on 2 October. "He did not mind walking into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul because he did not believe that something bad could happen on Turkish soil," his fiancée, Hatice Cengiz, wrote in the Washington Post. "Jamal was hardly concerned ahead of his second visit." The journalist who vanished into a consulate He was seen on CCTV arriving at 13:14 local time for his appointment, which was scheduled for 13:30. He reportedly told friends that he had been treated "very warmly" on his first visit and reassured them that he would not face any problems.

He has not been seen since.\n\nTurkish officials believe he was murdered by a team of Saudi agents inside the building and say they have evidence, including gruesome audio recordings, to back this up.\n\nAfter initial denials and claims that he had left the consulate shortly after arriving, Saudi Arabia has now admitted the journalist is dead.\n\nThe kingdom says Khashoggi was killed in a \"rogue operation\" that the leadership had not been aware of.\n\nThe steady stream of disturbing allegations, along with the complex diplomatic situation, means that it can be difficult to keep track of the full story.\n\nSo here is what we know about the case.\n\nWho was Jamal Khashoggi?\nA prominent journalist who covered major stories including the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and the rise of Osama Bin Laden for various Saudi news organisations.\n\nFor decades, he was close to the Saudi royal family and also served as an adviser to the government.\n\nBut he fell out of favour and went into self-imposed exile in the US last year. bodyIn May 1889, van Gogh, who’d experienced episodes of poor mental health in the previous months, checked himself into Saint Paul de Mausole, a mental hospital located in a former monastery in the town of Saint-Remy-de-Provence in southern France. Although at the time the painter was diagnosed with epilepsy, researchers have since suggested a host of alternative diagnoses, including bipolar disorder, alcoholism and acute intermittent porphyria, a metabolic disorder. Whatever the cause of his medical troubles, van Gogh’s treatment at Saint Paul consisted primarily of long baths. He stayed at the hospital for a year, during which time he painted scenes of its gardens as well as the surrounding countryside. The more than 100 paintings he produced during this period include some of his most celebrated works, such as “The Starry Night,” which was acquired by New York City’s Museum of Modern Art in 1941, and “Irises,” which was purchased by an Australian industrialist in 1987 for a then-record sum of $53.9 million. Since 1990, the painting has been owned by the J. Paul Getty Museum, which bought it for an undisclosed amount.

Picasso's Full Name Has 23 Words Picasso was baptized Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Martyr Patricio Clito Ruíz y Picasso. He was named after various saints and relatives. The "Picasso" is actually from his mother, Maria Picasso y Lopez. His father is named Jose Ruiz Blasco. 2. When He Was Born, The Midwife Thought He Was Stillborn Picasso had such a difficult birth and was such a weak baby that when he was born, the midwife thought that he was stillborn so she left him on a table to attend his mother. It was his uncle, a doctor named Don Salvador, that saved him. 3. Picasso's First Word: Pencil It's like Picasso was born an artist: his first word was "piz," short of lápiz the Spanish word for 'pencil.' His father Ruiz, an artist and art professor, gave him a formal education in art starting from the age of 7. By 13, Ruiz vowed to give up painting as he felt that Pablo had surpassed him. 4. Pablo's First Drawing At the tender young age of 9, Picasso completed his first painting: Le picador, a man riding a horse in a bullfight. His first major painting, an "academic" work is First Communion, featuring a portrait of his father, mother, and younger sister kneeling before an altar. Picasso was 15 when he finished it. 5. Picasso was a Terrible Student No doubt about it, Picasso was brilliant: artistically, he was years ahead of his classmates who were all five to six years older than him. But Picasso chafed at being told what to do and he was often thrown into "detention": ![pablo-picasso-kimdir.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmeXGu4sNW1MFaZwdML2gDTrwRu2m4BvrYoegXXENvpBXh/pablo-picasso-kimdir.jpg) 6. Picasso's First Job Picasso signed his first contract in Paris with art dealer Pere Menach, who agreed to pay him 150 francs per month (about US$750 today). 7. Did Picasso Steal the Mona Lisa? Actually no, but in 1911, when the famous painting Mona Lisa of Leonardo da Vinci was stolen from the Louvre, the police took in Picasso's friend, the poet Guillaume Apollinaire. Apollinaire fingered Picasso as a suspect, so the police hauled him in for questioning. Both were later released. 8. Cubism: Full of Little Cubes In 1909, Picasso and French artist Georges Braque co-founded an art movement known as cubism. Actually, it was a French art critic Louis Vauxcelles who first called it "bizarre cubiques" or cubism, after noting that Picasso and Braque's paintings are "full of little cubes." 9. Picasso was a close friend of Marc Chagall Picasso and Chagall, two of the greatest painters of the last century, were friends...Read the whole story. 10. Picasso claimed "Paul Cézanne was my one and only master." In 1943, Pablo Picasso declared to photographer George Brassaï that artist Paul Cézanne was "my one and only master."...Read the whole story 11. Where is Picasso buried? Picasso was buried in the grounds of a château that he bought on a whim in 1958 in the village of Vauvenargues in the south of France.
