      "body": "Greetings Friends!  I'm Charlie Marie.  I desperately want to get away from FB so here I am!   I'm posting a true story about myself that I just wrote recently, and plan to write sequels to, if there seems to be some interest.  This story is just a little glimpse into my life, but I think it is a fairly descriptive glimpse, for what it is worth.  My only intention is to inspire ideas and perspectives about how to improve the human experience, individually and collectively.   \n\n  The photo was taken on my birthday January 3, in my cabin on my virgin cruise aboard the HolyShip Divina in 2015.  I'm in the process of understanding how GAB works, so I'm re-posting a fun story I had first put on Steemit a few days ago, but now am switching to GAB.  We will see how it goes. \n\n  This story is about an adventure that lead me to an even bigger adventure which is leading to my current adventures!  I'm so excited to be going on this amazing cruise again, and this time with my girl friend from Italy!!  I'm going to make videos and I'm going to try to live stream some stuff from the ship if I can, so, stay tuned!!  Thank you Jordan Sather of Destroying the Illusion for helping motivate me to get started here!  Now, the story begins.  Enjoy! \n\n    Until fall of 2014, I had no idea that there was \"rave\" music that I could possibly like.  I had not heard any nor had I been properly introduced to any.  I love all types of music from old school punk, 80's pop, rap/Hip-Hop, classical, tribal, country, blues, etc etc.  You name it, there is no music I don't like ...except Tejano.   And until October 31st 2014, I thought EDM was on that short list.  I would learn things about myself that day.  It all started with an invitation I nearly turned down.  \n  I was working for a company that sells leather bound handmade journals.  I was the booth manager for various events like Renaissance fairs, art fairs and Comicons.   I flew out for a show in Columbus Ohio, staying at a nice little Airbnb with the most adorable gay couple ever.  Across the street were a couple of college kids smoking on their porch, so we ended up making friends and they invited me along with a few other of their friends to a huge rave, ironically held at the same convention center that was hosting the Comicon where I was working.   There were to be over 2,000 people at this rave, and the main attraction was someone I had not heard of at that time,  D.J.  A-Trak.  The show was called Haunted Fest.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGuDAo6cD0I  Just after the one minute mark you can see my face wearing the same mask that is on my head in the cover picture of this post!  Yes, that is really me!! \n  \n   At first, I almost didn't go because I didn't think I would enjoy the music, but I was in a strange town on Halloween, which is my favorite holiday, so I decided it would be better than staying in alone...although I was skeptical of whether or not I would retain that sentiment.  One of the guys gave me a \"party favor\" that he said definitely did not have anything speedy in it, and he knew for sure because the guy was a good friend of his... blah blah blah.   I didn't sleep for 3 days, but I am not really complaining, because I had an amazing time, and I kicked ass at work too.  There was a recovery period, but it was worth it.  Anyway, the reason, (I explained to him) that I avoided at all costs certain substances because speedy things don't settle well with me, so I get a little crazy.   That is EXACTLY what happened.  Unfortunately for him, it wasn't at all what he expected that to mean.  Remember that movie Blind Date?  \n \n  The ambiance of the event was historic!  Everyone was in costume and no one cheeped out on them at this event.  It was as if these kids had spent all year putting their costumes together for this epic event.  I've never seen so many well put together costumes in one place in my life!  I was dressed as Harley Quin, which was soooooo appropriate for that particular night.  I only wish I had cameras in my eyeballs so I could see it all again.  The video I shared doesn't even begin to cover it.  \n\n  We stood in line for about half an hour, but once we got in, it was like Wonderland.  The music was thrilling and I was hooked immediately.  Once I felt a sick beat take hold, it was over for the guy I had come with.  He could not get my attention in my trance dance, so he, and all his friends, left me there without even telling me they were leaving.  That's ok though because it worked out in my favor in the end.  I had so much fun, it was UNREAL.  \n  I danced with a hot guy wearing a Superman shirt for a few minutes, but I might have overwhelmed him a little...  I really like Superman.   I like Clark Kent, actually.   I also like Wonder Woman and there were plenty of good looking ladies there that night too.  I never do this type of thing, but being in rare form as I was...more than once, I approached a lady with nice boobs and said \"you have really nice boobs, can I touch them?\"  WOW!  I really did no expect that to work, but it worked way better than you can imagine!  \n\n   I was getting attention from anyone who could see me, and people I was unaware of too.  At some point, I noticed a guy wearing fatigues.  He started dancing with me and at first I went along, but he got way too handsy and grabbing my ass, so I told him to back off.  He didn't stop, so I got in his face and told him to fuck off!  He came at me and grabbed me again, so I pushed him away and then punched him square in the face.  I do know how to throw a punch so it knocked his head back, but he centered up with a smile on his face .  He was probably on something.  I'm about 100 pounds on a heavy day and barely over 5 feet tall, and this guy was probably about as big as a healthy Mark Walberg.  He grabbed me again, so I started screaming to people around me \"get this guy off of me, I don't know him\".  Most people could not see or hear me, but the few who did, just stared at me and did nothing.  I was starting to panic a little because I couldn't believe people were letting this guy assault me over and over, right there in the middle of thousands of people.  \n\n  Suddenly, I saw the tall guy with the Superman shirt and Clark Kent glasses walking by.  I grabbed him, and at first he smiled,remembering me from before, but then saw that I was distressed.  I said \"please make this guy leave me alone, he is grabbing me and he won't leave me alone!\"  I was nearly in tears and you could see he was concerned.  He confronted the guy and after a few minutes, he was saying something to me about \"I don't want to get involved in your relationship issues\" or something like that, so I knew the GI Joe douche was trying to convince Superman that I was his girlfriend and it was a domestic thing.  I grabbed onto him and begged him \"please don't leave me with him, I don't know him!\"  He asked me to confirm that I didn't know this guy, and I looked into his eyes with dread and pleading \"I swear I've never seen him before, he just came at me and won't stop touching me!\"  The music was so loud, I was literally screaming this at him, refusing to let go of him since no one else would pay attention.  I was afraid this guy was going to throw me over his shoulder and just walk out with me.  I doubt anyone would have stopped him.   People get wasted and act in a variety of manners, so that could actually happen without anyone really understanding what was happening.  This guy was being so hardcore and aggressive, plus the fact that the people were doing nothing to help me, it would not surprise me if he thought about it.   \n\n  When Super Clark realized that the guy was lying about knowing me, he was really pissed and confronted the guy again.  They got into it a little and I didn't want people to get hurt, so I got in the middle and said to the guy that he needs to just apologize and move on, and that if he did that, I would too.  Shockingly enough, he looked me in the eye an genuinely apologized.  I kept my promise too and apologized (not an admission of regret, just a diplomatic strategy).  I gave him a hug, which is probably what he really wanted anyway, and we parted ways.  I thanked Super Clark and was a little sad to see him go, although it was not the right time nor place for a torrid love affair.   I never saw either one of those guys again.  But, I did continue my festive night of dancing.  \n\n  I tried silent disco for the first time, and that was awesome!!  You have 3 different D.J.'s spinning all at the same time, but you can only hear them through headsets.  So, there was the DJ playing on the main stage, and 3 others playing silently.  Each DJ has a different channel and color on the headset.  You can choose back and forth which channel you want to listen to.  If you want to listen to whatever a certain person is listening to, you choose that color.  It is great for me because I get bored with a sound or a DJ style fairly quickly, so I can switch it up every few minutes or even seconds.  So fun! \n\n  I also had several esoteric experiences I wasn't expecting that night.  It was Halloween... and the party favors were helping too.  I found myself compelled to move and dance toward certain people and say things to them.  I just went with it.\nThe first was a 20 something black man, standing alone near the speakers at the side of the stage, wearing a backpack.  I danced up to him and said \"do you make music?\"  He replied \"I don't play an instrument, but I produce EDM music, but yes I do make music.  How did you know?\"  I said \"because I'm psychic\".  He smiled as I danced around him all the while we were talking.  He asked me if there was anything I could tell him, and so I said \"yes, you will meet everyone you need to know within the next 2 years\".  I answered the question this way because I knew intuitively, his real question was 'when will I make it big'.  Then I proceeded to tell him that he was going to blow up big...really really big.  I only wish I knew who he was so I could check in on his progress.   \n\n  The second guy was a middle aged man, presumably gay, who was with a few other people.  I was drawn to him and danced over to him.  He smiled and danced with me a little and asked me what I had said to the other guy, so I told him what I said.  He asked me how did I know he was going to get big in a few years.  I said \"spirit talks to me\".  He smiled and asked if spirit had anything to say to him.  I whispered in his ear, \"you are right where you need to be\".  By his expression, I was sure that was exactly what he needed to hear.  I told him that I knew he was someone special and that he probably owned the place.  I think I meant the rave, not the convention center.  He gave me a knowing smile, but didn't verbally admit it.\n\nThe 3rd person was a younger white guy, maybe late teens or very early 20's.  He was a little nerdy at heart, you can tell, but he dressed stylish.  I danced over to him and asked \"do you spin records?\"  He said, yes.  I asked \"vinyl?\" He said yes again, even more surprised I was asking him this out of the blue.  I asked, \"I mean, do you spin?...  with scratching, like in competitions?\"  He smiled wide and said \"yes, I do\".  I told him, \"I see you on the tables killing it, I mean KILLING IT!!\"  He laughed and shook his head, obviously feeling something between hopeful and confident.  I remember actually feeling how it felt for him and his crowd when he spins.  I don't know if it was past or future, but it was intense, really great!  \n\n  There were  many people I met, encounters I had and things I did that I just don't remember well enough to tell stories about, but there was one last person that I danced with that would change my life!   I was dancing around and my eye caught this beautiful lady that was dressed as an Egyptian Goddess dancing nearby and she was, by far, the most beautiful person I had seen all night, and THAT WAS SAYING SOMETHING!!!!   She was happy to dance with me and we had a wonderful time!  \n\n  Eventually, the lights came on and I started looking for my ride.  I was still unaware that they had left me and my phone was at the house,so I could not make or recievs calls and messages.  I didn't even have the address to where I was staying or ANYTHING!  I saw the Egyptian Goddess and her hubby while I was looking to meet up with my ride, and we began to chat.  An hour later, it was clear that the kids I came with weren't looking for me.  I was wearing a tiny sleeveless dress with no coat and it was not only freezing and wet, but the wind decided to have a party that night too.   So, after waiting an hour for a cab, and hoping that the address in my half functioning head was the actual address I needed to go to, Brittney walked me several yards to the cab with her cloak wrapped around us both.  It was so sweet and so innocently sexy, I could barely believe such a beautiful thing could happen.   Really great ending to an Amazing night!  \n\n  What does any of this have to do with HolyShip?  Good question.  So, while I was waiting for a cab, Brittney and Mark told me about this dance party cruise that they were about to go on in a couple of months from then.  They convinced me to come along with them.  I wasn't sure at that time if I was worthy of such wonder and luxury, but the fact that the departure date was on my actual birthday, and it was a milestone birthday at that, I felt it was a sign from the universe to go on this trip and party like it was my last chance.  And I did!  But that is another story...\n\n  I've got some video to share with y'all from my previous trips, so be on the look out for that.       "body": "Greetings Friends, \n  \n  Since I seem to have a lot of posts lately involving socio-sexual politics, I decided to bring back Dr. Ruthless.  That is the pseudonym I used in the mid 90's before they called it a \"user name\", and I used it when I wrote  articles for punk zine columns before they were called \"blogs\".  These articles were about sexuality and sex, within relationships as well as within social constructs and the political nature of ideals surrounding the topics of sex and sensuality, specifically within the anarchist community.  This will be the first article under this pen name that will be posted online.  Enjoy!\n\n  I like to take experiences that I have had and use them to point out some important issues that both genders and all orientations can find helpful.  We all have the potential to find ourselves in a situation that we might not know how to respond to if we don't already have an idea of how to analyze the situation.  Smaller offenses can lead to more serious ones if they are not accounted for.  Also, what seem to be small offenses might have deeper meaning.  If we can know how to look for that deeper meaning with intuition and awareness, we can protect ourselves from both assault and slander.  The first step is to knowledge your part in anything and everything that you have issue with.  That is often the hardest part for people, but it is the most important part.  That is very general for now, but i will get into that when I get into the stories.   \n\n  Today I want to discuss the topic of inappropriate touching, how we might define it, recognize and mitigate it.  IT, as I will refer to it from this point forward, is the 1st physical step to molestation or more serious assaults.  It is important to note that there are grooming and desensitizing tricks that come before the touching, but I will go into that another time.  IT can occur anywhere, to anyone at any time.  That is because there are an array of IT techniques that are meant to seem harmless, so they are often done in public or in front of mutual friends even.  When I was being unwittingly groomed by my daughter's school director, she would touch my butt and even pinched my nipple in front of other parents with little remarks to make it sound friendly.  I never touched her like that even once, nor did I ever give the impression that I was ok with it.  I didn't make a big deal because I really didn't know what she was up to.  She told me she had a boyfriend and I assumed her approach was due to being French.  I didn't find out until later that she was obsessed with me and trying to get me to give rights to my child over to her.  It was a huge trauma for me.  She abused my child, stole my money, slandered me to all the other parents, etc etc.  If I had paid more attention to her boundary issues, I would have seen the red flags.  I let it go, even though it did make me feel very uncomfortable and even violated at times, like when she pressed her body against me in a door way and rubbed herself against me.  I was in shock and didn't even know what to do or say.  I let it go.  And I should not have.  I should have recognized this behavior as predatory in nature and that she would have other predatory behaviors to match it.  Since she was a woman and claimed to be straight, I assumed that I was just being sensitive.  Truly, i just didn't want to see it.  I didn't want it to be true, for a whole variety of reasons.  So, I allowed myself to ignore it and both my daughter and I suffered because of that. \n\n  I'd like to bring up something that happened recently too.  It is very different, but is another example of IT that can easily be overlooked.  It was about a month or 2 ago when I was dropping my daughter off at school.  We had just started there and still don't know many parents.  There was a dad dropping his daughter off too who introduced himself.  We will just call him B.  B chatted with me for a while in the parking lot before asking me if I wanted to grab a coffee.  I agreed since I really did want to meet more parents and get to know the community.  We had a very long talk about politics, mostly.  I was trying to explain to him what is really going on behind the political curtain and why we shouldn't hate on Trump so much.  It is a long and complex conversation that requires a lot of focus and an open mind, otherwise you just go straight into reaction.  B was very polite and patient and seemed to be trying to understand my perspective.  We had some laughs and all was well when he returned me to my car at the school a few hours later.  As I was about to get out of his car, he touched my hand and rubbed it for a few seconds before I pulled away.  It was really awkward since I had just met him AT MY DAUGHTER'S SCHOOL, no less.  I didn't call him for obvious reasons, but I did add him to FB so that I could hopefully make more contacts with other parents that way.  That didn't happen, but I will tell you what did.\n\n  I honestly don't remember if B had commented on one of my posts first or if I commented on his first, but whichever way it went, the first thing B ever said to me on FB was condescending and insulting.  I was surprised at first since we had had a friendly encounter, until I remembered that I rejected his advance.  It has happened, many times, that when I don't respond the way a guy wants me to, he looks for ways to punish me for it.  That is what I started to feel about his comments.  I posted a video of something proving my point and he told me not to post certain things on his timeline.  I told him that I was going to respond to whatever comes up on my timeline however I see fit and if he wanted to avoid that, he was welcome to unfriend me.  There was more than one heated exchange about this or that post, but he refused to unfriend me so I kept responding to his stupid posts to try to enlighten the people he was deceiving with his ignorant, hateful bullshit.  I had to ask myself why.  Why was he talking so much shit to me, and why did he refuse to unfriend me.  I came to the conclusion that he was doing it to get laid.  Hear me out.  So, a lot of the people who see his comments are women, many of them are potential pussy and or current pussy that have to be emotionally primed to want to fuck this creep.  My theory is that he wants me to say things to defend Trump so that he can come at me with what he knows the ladies want to hear.  He then becomes the hero that defends the honor of women.  Disgusting!  Of course, this is just my opinion, but based on experiences with men who showed interest in me, and the way this particular man approached me physically, only to attack me publicly when I didn't show interest in his advances, as well as the things he was saying and most notably the thing HE WAS IGNORING about what I was saying all gave me the impression that he doesn't actually care what is true, he only cares about what works for him and his eager little penis.  I have no idea if it is actually little or not, and I don't care to find out.  The point is, he isn't thinking with his heart and his intentions are highly questionable.  So, my point here is to out this fucker just a little bit, but not for the purpose of humiliating him.  Obviously, I could do that in way more effective ways.  My point here is to remind people (male or female) to pay attention to IT before it turns into something more serious.  This guy didn't destroy my life as I knew it the way Hind Louali of French School of Austin (aka JJR) did because I learned from my mistake and I paid more attention to the deeper meaning behind the IT.  While he has probably hurt my chances of being accepted fully into the fold of parents at the school, it was more important to me to stand up and speak out, and not allow people to intimidate me into silence.   \n\n  It is imperative to teach young children about IT and ALL it's different forms.  Not just to protect them against pedophiles, but also to learn to set firm boundaries with peers.  This is why you should never physically punish a child or tickle them too much or force them to kiss and hug people when they don't want to.  Pedophiles often groom their prey by simple \"affectionate\" touching before they go further.  Talk to your kids and teens about what feels ok and what doesn't and what to do and say if you don't like something that is being done to or around them.  Date rape often starts with consensual touching that moves into IT and can then quickly turn into an assault before one can even grasp what is happening.  I am going to write more about how to teach kids and teens to identify predatory behavior, so look out for that.  But for now, I just want readers to take a moment to think about a time or two when IT was happening, but since it wasn't really serious, it was forgotten.  What happened after that?  Did that person turn out to be bad news, or try to do more harm in one way or another?  If you had paid more attention to your feelings about the IT, would it have prevented you from being further harmed by that person either physically or socially? \nAsk yourself to make note of any IT that you experience or see happening to another.  Come up with some things you know you can do or say to either stop or prevent assertion from a potential sexual predator or deviant. Across the street were a couple college kids smoking on their porch so we ended up making friends and they invited me along with a few other of their friends to a huge rave, ironically held at the same convention center that was hosting the Comicon  I was working.   There were to be over 2,000 people at this rave, and the main attraction was someone I had not heard of at that time,  D.J. A-Trak. Yes, that is really me!! %0A  %0A   At first, I almost didn't go because I didn't think I would enjoy the music, but I was in a strange town on Halloween, which is my favorite holiday, so I decided it would be better than staying in alone...although i was skeptical if I would retain that sentiment.  One of the guys gave me a party favor that he said definitely did not have anything speedy in it, he knew for sure because the guy was a good friend blah blah blah.   I didn't sleep for 3 days, but I am not really complaining, because I had an amazing time and I kicked ass at work.  There was a recovery period, but it was worth it.  Anyway, the reason, (I explained to him) was that speedy things don't settle well with me, so I get a little crazy.   That is EXACTLY what happened.  Unfortunately for him, it wasn't at all what he expected.  %0A %0A  The ambiance was historic!  Everyone was in costume and no one cheaped out on them at this event.  I was dressed as Harley Quin, which was soooooo appropriate for that night.  I only wish I had cameras in my eyeballs so I could see it all again.  The video I shared doesn't even begin to cover it.  The music was thrilling and I was hooked immediately.  Once I felt a sick beat take hold, it was over for the guy I had come with.  He could not get my attention in my trance dance, so he, and all his friends, left me there without even telling me they were leaving.  That's ok though because it worked out in my favor in the end.  I had so much fun, it was UNREAL.  I danced with a hot guy wearing a Superman shirt for a few minutes, but I might have overwhelmed him a little...  I really like Superman.   I like Clark Kent, actually.   I also like Wonder Woman and there were plenty of good looking ladies there that night too. At some point, I noticed a guy wearing fatigues.  He started dancing with me and it first I went along, but he got too handsy and I told him to back off.  He didn't stop, so I got in his face and told him to fuck off!  He came at me and grabbed me again, so I punched him square in the face.  I do know how to throw a punch so it knocked his head back, but he centered up with a smile on his face .  He was probably on something. I was afraid this guy was going to throw me over his shoulder and just walk out with me.  I doubt anyone would have stopped him.   People get wasted and act in a variety of manners, so that could actually happen without anyone really understanding what was happening. You have 3 different D.J.'s spinning all at the same time, but you can only hear them through headsets.  So, there was the DJ playing on the main stage, and 3 others playing silently.  Each DJ has a different channel and color on the headset.  You can choose back and forth which channel you want to listen to.  If you want to listen to whatever a certain person is listening to, you choose that color.  It is great for me because I get bored with a sound or a DJ style fairly quickly, so I can switch it up every few minutes or even seconds. I was wearing a tiny sleeveless dress with no coat and it was not only freezing, but the wind decided to have a party that night too.   So, after waiting an hour for a cab and hoping that the address in my half functioning head was the actual address I needed to go to, Brittney walked me several yards to the cab with her cloak wrapped around us both.  It was so sweet and so innocently sexy, I could barely believe such a beautiful thing could happen. So, while I was waiting for a cab, Brittney and Mark told me about this dance party cruise that they were about to go on in a couple of months.  They convinced me to come along with them.  I wasn't sure at that time if I was worthy of such wonder and luxury, but the fact that the departure date was on my birthday, and it was a milestone birthday at that, I felt it was a sign from the universe to go on this trip and party like it was my last chance.
