Really not much unless the way \"they\" are trying to do it is to take guns from law abiding, well trained citizens, or when  \"they\" twist the narrative to fit \"their\" political agenda. \n\nThere have been several such incidents lately in the USA, which is where I am. With all the rhetoric,it got me thinking, who or what is the real issue here. In my opinion, it is an issue of the heart. What is at the heart of the Anti- first and second amendment to the constitution rhetoric, is the ability to protect and defend our families against tyrants. The ability to express diverse thoughts, without taking offenses. This leaves the individual responsible for their actions. Without this accountability we tend to say \"Not me, I did not do it.\", without this accountability we tend to say, \"let the government protect us.\" Many other expressions, \"hate speech\" etc. come into the national narrative, the buzz words abound.  I ask what is wrong with taking personal responsibility? We ask why doesn't somebody, government primarily, do something? If we expect the government to keep us safe, to show us what we are to say and do then we are in a world of hurt. We slip into apathy, what does this whole thing have to do with me? I am looking for a social networking home can I come into even though tech clueless? I hope to learn all the ins and outs of this but until I do please forgive my ineptness.I was booted off of Facebook, and told I would have to identify myself by giving them documentation. They thought I was a bot, I think, bot I am not. I just did not know how to delete an account and start over. Now I am in over my head again with Steemit. Wallets? Cryptocurrency? Promotion? help!\n\nI want a place where I can try to grow into someone you would be able to ask to navigate the way things are done here. I want to learn how best to use the platform to express ideas, to use to the fullest all the possibilities of self-expression without censorship. \n\nI may not always agree with you, but I will agree to disagree, agreeably if you will. I tend to the conservative , God fearing bent. I am not always eloquent, but I am passionate. \n\nMother of 7 grown children, I am looking to expand my abilities and talents.
