Even the staunchest gold and silver bugs have begun to invest in more lucrative sectors like crypto currencies. None the less we cannot discount the role that gold and silver have always played in society. I personally view the underperformance as an opportunity for accumulation. Buy, hold, and have a strong hand. I frequently hear this from other investors, and it is a strong mantra to follow. Investing is not for those with weak hands, you need patience, metal strength, and foresight. He who has vision can see the way clearly. It is time to remove the FUD in both cryptos and precious metals, but be wise enough not to put all of your faith in either. Gold has historically been a store of value while silver is a multi-purpose industrial metal. When price is suppressed for too long, it often uncoils and usually over shoots before finding any market stability. I have heard investors call for $600-dollar silver and $10,000 gold. Some have even gone so far as to imply that it will reach the stage of no offer. While these ideas may sound quite tantalizing, I would not mortgage my house to buy metals as this is mere speculation at the end of the day. However, I do feel both are worthy investments as they have been a store of value and ever present in monetary systems form the beginning of time. \nThere is a big divide between proponents of metals and proponents of the crypto space. It seems that more seasoned investors prefer holding a tangible asset while the younger (and more tech savvy investor) is betting on the digital universe of the future. In my opinion, both are credible markets and the investors from each would do well to learn from each other. Do investors everywhere not have the same goal? Profit is the name of the game. Today it is around $4000 and counting. This year has seen spectacular runs in cryptocurrencies! And with so many eyes now on the market, speculative calls for BTC to go over $10,000 by next year are garnering much more attention (not to mention the gurus who are making these calls). One of the most optimistic of these gurus is Cliff High, whom I have been tracking for over a year. His reports are impressively accurate regarding the crypto space. Never the less I must warn that you do your own due diligence before investing your money. That being said, Cliff’s data is indicating a $13,000-dollar range by early next year and I am inclined to agree with him. Needless to say the list of choices is endless and can be overwhelming.
