I mean whenever I personally post one, I tend to get a lot more engagement. Now the paradox of looking at such images is that it's a good thing AND a bad thing. What we fail to remember is that the constant bombardments of such images have a strong and direct influence on our subconscious mind which affect our mental state which can affect our health. Looking for inspiration through these images could get you to move - but it could also get you to collapse and find yourself even more miserable. I used to constantly compare myself to other models or physique competitors failing to recognize how good I already look. My thoughts would turn from "you have a killer physique " to "I'm not big enough" or "I'm not as shredded as him". We focus on what he/she has and what we don't have. I mean no matter how much we do, we will find something or someone that seems better. This sounds very destructive doesn't it? I get it - we are attracted to attractive human beings. But what we forget is that we are attractive ourselves. We just don't see it because we are constantly comparing ourselves to others. We forget to take a moment to look in the mirror and see the beauty that's radiating. But that's easier said than done. That's because we've created a cycle of negative thinking and continued feeding it. So how can we get out of this vicious cycle? Ever try to write something with your left when you're right-handed? Well if you're constantly comparing yourself with others and focusing on what you don't have then that paradigm simply cannot shift without constant and consistent training Here are a few things you can do:</p> <h2>1 ) Use Social Media don't let it use you</h2> <p><br> Find inspiration through words and stories rather than just physical appearance. When you focus on the internal qualities, the surface image becomes more attractive and a healthier association sticks with you. By following someone just for their looks - well you're back to square one. </p> <h2>2) Write 5 things you like about yourself every morning</h2> <p> Love yourself and show appreciation. With time, this will reverse the negative paradigm that has been created. </p> <h2>3) Meditate</h2> <p> <br> You will get to know yourself on a much deeper level. You can't solve a problem if you don't know it exists.</p> <h2> 4) Surround yourself with positive people. </h2> <p>Negative energy sticks. Get away from the drama. Get away from the gossip. </p> <h2>5) Visualize sexiness</h2> <p><br> Before you go to bed, see yourself as magnet that attracts positive and loving people into your life. I mean whenever I personally post one, I tend to get a lot more engagement. Now the paradox of looking at such images is that it's a good thing AND a bad thing. What we fail to remember is that the constant bombardments of such images have a strong and direct influence on our subconscious mind which affect our mental state which can affect our health. Looking for inspiration through these images could get you to move - but it could also get you to collapse and find yourself even more miserable. I used to constantly compare myself to other models or physique competitors failing to recognize how good I already look. My thoughts would turn from \"you have a killer physique \" to \"I'm not big enough\" or \"I'm not as shredded as him\". We focus on what he/she has and what we don't have. I mean no matter how much we do, we will find something or someone that seems better. This sounds very destructive doesn't it? I get it - we are attracted to attractive human beings. But what we forget is that we are attractive ourselves. We just don't see it because we are constantly comparing ourselves to others. We forget to take a moment to look in the mirror and see the beauty that's radiating. But that's easier said than done. That's because we've created a cycle of negative thinking and continued feeding it. So how can we get out of this vicious cycle? Ever try to write something with your left when you're right-handed? Well if you're constantly comparing yourself with others and focusing on what you don't have then that paradigm simply cannot shift without constant and consistent training Here are a few things you can do:</p>\n<h2>1 ) Use Social Media don't let it use you</h2>\n<p><br>\n Find inspiration through words and stories rather than just physical appearance. When you focus on the internal qualities, the surface image becomes more attractive and a healthier association sticks with you. By following someone just for their looks - well you're back to square one. </p>\n<h2>2) Write 5 things you like about yourself every morning</h2>\n<p> Love yourself and show appreciation. With time, this will reverse the negative paradigm that has been created. </p>\n<h2>3) Meditate</h2>\n<p> <br>\n You will get to know yourself on a much deeper level. You can't solve a problem if you don't know it exists.</p>\n<h2> 4) Surround yourself with positive people. </h2>\n<p>Negative energy sticks. Get away from the drama. Get away from the gossip. </p>\n<h2>5) Visualize sexiness</h2>\n<p><br>\nBefore you go to bed, see yourself as magnet that attracts positive and loving people into your life. I decided to try a 3-day split to see if that's the variable that's causing chaos. I began to feel better instantly and make tremendous amount of progress in all domains. </p> <p>My goal wasn't to get bigger anymore, nor it is to get more shredded. My goal was to become more athletic. A fine balance of strength, mobility, flexibility, cardio, and most importantly mindfulness. </p> <h2>I escaped the bodybuilding scene</h2> <p>Well let's face it, its obsessive characteristics isn't exactly fun. I went ahead and created my OWN scene. Also, what's the point of looking good if you can't even do the simple primal movements? We are attracted to aesthetic physiques because we think they indicate functionality. The thing is - the majority of these physiques lack athleticism. The beauty of lower frequency is that it allows you to recovery fully. It also allows you to walk light and feel energized, rather than feel stiff, sore, and heavy.</p> <h2>The results?</h2> <p>So even though I'm only in the gym 3 times a week, I'm growing at a much faster rate than before. I can focus better and remain centered throughout the day because I'm giving my body a chance to heal and regenerate. You can argue and say it isn't the most effective way, but I think that's for me to prove. I come in without a coach, without a diet, and without a strict workout routine. I come in with a much hippie approach because this should be a lifestyle - the bodybuilding lifestyle is simply not ideal. It's gonna do more damage than good. </p> <h2>Final words...</h2> <p>I've witnessed dozens of competitors gain ten, twenty, even thirty pounds just a few weeks after stepping on stage. Look I'm not saying just hippie it - all I'm saying is that don't specialize before you get the base right. Your base is the intention of getting healthier, psychologically and physiologically. The surface (your physique) will follow and be a bonus. I did the exact opposite, and I'm not gonna lie - it was one hell of a ride. It still is - but I'm working on it One step a time, this is a life-long journey - not a 3 month plan :) How often are you lifting weights?</p> </html> |

However, there is something that we must address on a much deeper level in order to level up these two.</p> <h2>What must we address? </h2> <p>True discipline and willpower are only byproducts of what is stored in our subconscious mind.</p> <p>Let's say I am trying to lose 40lbs because I'm tired of being overweight .I begin by practicing willpower and discipline by setting up and consistently following a strict program.</p> <p>Since I know the best way to succeed is to repetitively remind myself why I don't want to be overweight, I do exactly that.</p> <h2>What's going to happen?</h2> <p>I will eventually sabotage what I have been working on.</p> <p>This is because I've trained my subconscious mind to focus on NOT wanting to be overweight and so it will reinforce exactly that.</p> <p>Instead of training my subconscious to focus on what I don't want, I must focus on what I DO want. This is why changing the surface stuff (discipline and willpower) can only work temporarily.</p> <p>By focusing on the states and results I would like to achieve, the subconscious will do everything it can in order for you to achieve exactly those.</p> <p>If we are able to change our dominant thoughts and perspective, we change our reality. We no longer need to focus on training our skills to achieve something. "body": "<html>\n<h2><img src=\"https://image.ibb.co/cwM3xn/DSC_9144.jpg\" width=\"862\" height=\"1293\"/></h2>\n<h2>Achieving anything by creating the right environment in your mind</h2>\n<p>I get asked quite often how I am able to have the discipline and willpower to maintain a healthy lifestyle.</p>\n<p>We understand that in order to achieve our goals, we must train ourselves to be more disciplined and have better willpower. However, there is something that we must address on a much deeper level in order to level up these two.</p>\n<h2>What must we address? </h2>\n<p>True discipline and willpower are only byproducts of what is stored in our subconscious mind.</p>\n<p>Let's say I am trying to lose 40lbs because I'm tired of being overweight .I begin by practicing willpower and discipline by setting up and consistently following a strict program.</p>\n<p>Since I know the best way to succeed is to repetitively remind myself why I don't want to be overweight, I do exactly that.</p>\n<h2>What's going to happen?</h2>\n<p>I will eventually sabotage what I have been working on.</p>\n<p>This is because I've trained my subconscious mind to focus on NOT wanting to be overweight and so it will reinforce exactly that.</p>\n<p>Instead of training my subconscious to focus on what I don't want, I must focus on what I DO want. This is why changing the surface stuff (discipline and willpower) can only work temporarily.</p>\n<p>By focusing on the states and results I would like to achieve, the subconscious will do everything it can in order for you to achieve exactly those.</p>\n<p>If we are able to change our dominant thoughts and perspective, we change our reality. We no longer need to focus on training our skills to achieve something. The subconscious will take care of that.</p>\n<p>We just treated the issue rather than the symptom (lack of discipline and willpower).</p>\n<p>Don't focus on not wanting to be this thing, focus on wanting the other thing.</p>\n<p>\"Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right.\"</p>\n<p>- Henry Ford</p>\n</html>",

| body |  <h2>We live in a "magic-pill" society. ..</h2> <p>Our intellect continues to evolve and come up with ways to make everything stronger, faster, and more convenient. Life has suddenly become too fast and so we started to expect instant result. If you really wanted to lose a lot of weight fast, it's very possible. </p> <h2> The question is...is it healthy? </h2> <p>And how much longer until you gain all of it back? Diets only work temporarily because the second you get off the routine, you're in for a big ride (pun definitely intended). This is because you begin to restrict your food choices and end up eating foods that you don't even like. It's only a matter of time until you get sick and tired of your diet. </p> <h2>My Experience</h2> <p>I went in and out of diets and every time I stepped off, I gained all of the weight I had lost. Eventually, I developed unhealthy habits and relationships with foods. I ended up with a nasty binging disorder. My weight was like a roller coaster ride. Given that I was in bodybuilding, this slowed my progress since I was shifting from "bulking" and "cutting". Not only that, but I was constantly thinking about how I looked. I'd have a "cheat" day, look puffy the next day, then diet for a few days anddddddd REPEAT </p> <h2>The solution?</h2> <p>The solution was was to give up dieting and chase something long-term instead. I started to to focus on ingredients rather than calories. I ditched the sugars and anything that wasn't "real". I also paid close attention to my digestion and cancelled out anything that disturbed me. I focused on my health and stopped obsessing about how I looked. </p> <h2> The results?</h2> <p> My physique looked even better and now it's always there. You don't need to go on the chicken & broccoli diet, eating healthy can be mouthwatering.</p> |
