For me it's not what is going on in the market but what the price is when I decide to draw dollars from this platform. \n\nDuring my research of steemit I read where one member considered anything above a Dollar US was a bonus. Sure some have been in the right place at the right time and have profited very well. So what's really important to you? Is it a supportive community or a few dollars, that's what it comes down to for me. \n\nI'm not in a position to buy or sell coins but certainly learning about them in the meantime. I plane to just keep posting, commenting and answering replies until I have the right price to withdraw. What's the right place? Anything above $2 US. The market will do it's own thing and it's a waiting game.",

      "body": "The alarm had gone off and the family made ready for their Saturday usual Park Run.\nIt was almost 5:40am and I walked out to get the car from the garage. I always took my camera to Park Runs to cover friends who were running that day. \n\nBut I digress. We had had a storm the night before and some heavy rain following the storm. The result was very clean and clear air. It is unusual for me to catch images like this, there was a very strong red colour cast over everything as I walked out and looking east this is what greeted me.       "body": "I am old enough to remember having a bank book and how I used to have face to face contact with a human when I wanted to deposit or withdraw money. These days I watch as the younger generation use the cell phones to pay for goods and I often wonder if they know just how much money they have in their accounts, do they keep track of it all? I don't use the self scanners at the supermarket because I know that the introduction of such methods has put someone out of work and in some cases onto welfare. Some never recover. I don't know the answer but it sure bears thinking about. At what point will AI become dangerous, making decisions we may have no control over. Most proponents of AI only see the monetary advantages, what happens when AI learns to reproduce itself?  Like you, I have reservations about it's future.",

      "body": "I choose this camera mostly because of weight - I hike and cycle a lot, and I am not exactly young anymore, so any weight on my back is noticeable on my knees at the end of the day ;) In 0.5 kg I can pack a camera with small prime and one telephoto and all small bits, like filters, remote, battery...  which is less than a weight of a DSLR body. I compared the quality of photos with Nikon 7200 and I could not find any differences. \nWhen using mirrorless, there is that feeling that you are using compact, and it is true that you must be careful since it is easy to make shaky photo because the camera is so light, but after some time you get used to it. Now, when I took my old Canon or when my friends ask me to use their big DSLR's, I feel like I use a baseball bat instead of a toothpick ;)",

Usually if I see 2 tops then I watch for a down trend and then look at where it rises, if it passes the pervious top point I wait for a 1 third past that top and then buy in. I do the reverse for two points that are on the downward trend. If the market or stock I am looking at is bouncing all over the place I leave it alone. Really not a good explanation but I found it works pretty well. I have been looking closely at the Steem graph to see if I can decipher much from that. Since I'm brand new here I'll take some time to learn it all, I'm really looking for instances where when I cash out my dollars I get the best price if that makes sense.",

      "body": "Excellent post indeed. For many years as a younger person I ate fast foods because time was a factor when doing my apprenticeship. Things like potato chips and cola drinks formed a great part of refuelling  when working in the heat of the tropics. Lunch was again fast food as 15 minutes was no where near enough time for a decent meal. Later after getting married to a registered nurse I began to be told that \"That's not good for you, you need to read the labels\". An so began a journey learning about additives and fats and sugars and salt and a heck of a lot more. Did it change my ways of eating, well slowly over the years I have changed but maybe it should have been faster. Then I began work at a private hospital, that changed everything. A visit to a cardiac ward or a diabetes ward and one sees the long term results of the accumulation of these \"Death Packages\". I think there can be more done regarding labelling and more public education and what those little tables really mean. Again great info post. One product at a time.",

It was one of these foods, that led me after many years of enjoyment to learn about a certain fruit, yes it is a fruit, known as *Peppers*.\n\nhttps://i.imgur.com/nszqWe7.jpg\n\n In my late teen years I was introduced to the *Chilli pepper*. Now I find there is a difference between bell peppers and chilli peppers. So what the heck is the difference? What I found was a chemical known as *Capsaicin*.  Still didn’t mean much to me at the time. Further research and I learned it has another term, spiciness and this spiciness separates the two peppers. Weird, still didn’t make much sense.\n\nhttps://i.imgur.com/nszqWe7.jpg\n\nOk so to differentiate between the peppers we divide them into 2 groups, one called *Bell Peppers* and the second called *Chilli Peppers*. So how do we know which is which, here’s where it gets very interesting. We go all the way back to that crazy adventurer Columbus. So he sails off to America and finds a tasty vegetable known to locals as “Peppers”. But the pepper is in fact a fruit under the true botanical definition. Let’s hop to 1912 and a pharmacist named *Wilbur Scolville*, and American. Up to this point in time there was no real method of measuring the spiciness in peppers of any kind. He took the capsaicin, which was in form of oil mixed it with some alcohol and put into shot glasses. But that had some some shortcomings because he used humans to test the spiciness or heat of peppers. We can see that there were more than just human errors, there were also things like laboratory methods used  to extract the oil and the cultivation and environmental conditions during growing. Regardless, our old mate Wilbur formed a scale of sorts and today we use this scale to reference the spiciness or heat of all the commonly known peppers.\n\nhttps://i.imgur.com/nszqWe7.jpg\n\nOk so we know have a little knowledge of where they came from, how they differ and something to gauge their heat with. So I guess we better look a little closer at why they burn the heck out our mouthes in some cases. Now we know that an oil contained in peppers is the cause but the effect is an irritating reaction on something called heat receptors in the mouth. \nCapsaicin is in fact an irritant for mammals, like us humans, and produces a sensation of burning in any tissue with which it comes into contact, in most cases the mouth since we eat them.  But if care is not taken when handling chilli peppers it can effect the hands or body parts exposed to contact. *Capsaicin*,  and several related compounds,  are called *Capsaicinoids* and are produced by *Chilli peppers* as a deterrent.\n\nhttps://i.imgur.com/nszqWe7.jpg\n\nhttps://i.imgur.com/RzHZ3W8.jpg\n\nA deterrent to what or who? Well it seems that mammals are the only ones equiped with pain/heat receptors unlike birds. Only humans appreciate the spice of peppers rather than the pain. So many land bound animals bypass the chilli peppers and leave the birds who don’t seem to have these receptors, to eat and distribute the seeds resulting in better plant reproduction in wider areas. 

In recent times the breeding of new and hotter chillies has become a hobby for those who appreciate the spicy taste. *The Scolville Scale* tells us that Bell Peppers (classed as sweet peppers) are those that rate from 0 to 100 Scovilles and after that level they become know as Chilli peppers. The common *Birdseye chilli* for example has a rating of  225,000, the *Habanero chilli* rates at 100,000  while the *Cayenne pepper* rates a lower 50,000.\n\nhttps://i.imgur.com/nszqWe7.jpg \n\nToday we recognise the hottest chilli as one known as the ***“Carolina Reaper”***, it’s rating is a staggering 16,000,000. With so many newer varieties being bred by enthusiasts  it’s almost impossible to list them all but there are more than 140+ types that can be found with a little research.\n\nhttps://i.imgur.com/nszqWe7.jpg\n\nAll over the world there are festivals held to celebrate the Chilli and here one can immerse oneself  in a world spice or pain, which ever you prefer. Here in my local area we have several chilli growers and they hold a festival every October where I can taste some fantastic chilli dishes to what ever heat level I desire. Usually I have a good stock up at such events. The latest addition to my purchase was a series of chilli chocolates, and they didn’t last all that long.\n\nhttps://i.imgur.com/nszqWe7.jpg\n\nThere have been several studies done into the health benefits of chillies and their consumption on  regular basis and there have been some quite surprising results.
