Right on the 16th! This thing is really on the edge right now and it does not show any signs of bottoming out just yet. XEM has just reached the 16th price level. I mean like anywhere on the internet. \n\nEven though I have been using this instrument for the better part of my middle thirties life i have never used a blog type of medium. Never read others or written my own. \n\nSo let's talk a little bit about me. Who I am. Am I interesting to you? Computers have been a huge part of my life ever since. I got interested in economics and trading not so much later. Under trading I mean brick and mortar / services trading when I was 16 in a fledgling Eastern European country's internet scene. \n\nAs it went at the time I attended University studying Computer sciences - then flunking out due to playing too much Counterstrike. I have tried again in a different subject eventually answering my calling in engineering and economics.\n\nI moved to the UK a few years ago rebooting my life from scratch and had the opportunity to work in different segments of the UK economy and climbing the ladders of corporate success (I am working in telecoms sales strategy).\n\nI first heard about Cryptocurrencies in 2012. A friend of mine bought something called Bitcoin. He is not a millionaire unfortunately (as most of these tales continue). He used his Bitcoins to buy a PC not long after the MtGox crash. (I think now it would count as the most expensive PC ever as he spent roughly 20 btc on it). \n\nI was always interested, but never had an easy way to acquire them (couldn't mine with my laptop). Then came June 2017 and a colleague/friend of mine said \"have you heard about Coinbase?\" and i signed up and bought my first fraction of Bitcoin for £20... Than Litecoin/than Ethereum than started reading.\n\nThis followed on with a crazy rush of whitepaper research/Youtube videos/ subreddits/ blogposts (Andreas Antonopoulos/Data Dash/Doug Polk/The Crypto Investor are a few that shaped my thinking). \n\nI had an epiphany and became an advocate. PPl in our offices now look to me for anything relating to cryptos... I have a boss who calls me \"Krypto\" jokingly (you know Superman's dog). You have seen a huge capital flight from the market through BTC and ETH (i do firmly beleive this was due to the Asian markets cashing out buying shiny stuff for their digital money due to chinese new year) depressing the prices. \n\nSome ppl took that opportunity to buy back in maintaining top 5 prices roughly within 40% of their previous value).\n\nThe current BTC rally is due to ppl who previously cashed out and took profits are driving their cash back into the market buying BTC. Eventually they will be riding this wave until BTC volumes run out of \"steem\" (pun intended) and will switch to altcoins. \n\nAs they switch to altcoins BTC price will not change significantly since they won't be sold for Fiat but exchanged into alts driving the price of alts higher not really affecting the price of BTC itself. \n\nMore ppl with fresh cash who FOMO into the market will buy BTC or Ether to fly onto some of the \"undervalued\" alts maintaining the equilibrium in BTC/ETH price throughout the cycle, but Dominance is going to drop again \"shifting the cycle\".\n\nI am still flabberghasted by the fact that some ppl still value their altcoins in fiat value. These are not tradable for fiat yet.
