titlePart 1
bodyThis is the story I created but this is part 1 and I would like feed back. Never assume someone is telling you the truth that’s how you get hurt. I wish I had known before this mess got started. I was born in a small town, where your closest neighbor would be a mile away and they knew you plus your family. My family goes back thousands of years in this town, when I was a kid I told everyone I would move away from this place and never come back, didn’t quite happen that way. When I look at the sign it says “Welcome to Bridgeport” but all I hear is mother saying you can run from here but you’ll be back, this town has a way of bringing you back. Bridgeport, the town with real mystery, or a town full of magic. My family has a strong connection with magic. Witches and warlocks, they date back to when the town first became a town, my families history. You may not believe but I was raised and taught about the magic in the world. There are two types of magic, light and dark, my family comes from the light, our responsibility is to protect the people in town. This is what I ran from, plus the curse. A curse is usually passed down from generation to generation but not this time. This cursed was destined for me and I thought if I left it would go away but I was wrong. The curse, it went like this, when a set of twins are born and one has great beauty and the other has great intelligence. Beware the beauty because she will birth a great evil. My mother told us this from the time we were able to understand. We went to school until we were teenager’s then she pulled me out of school and started homeschooling while my sister, Dianna, continued school. She had friends while I had no one but mother. I hated my sister because mother loved her so much and she hated me. I didn’t understand why or how she could hate me so much. Due to these feelings, I rebelled and disobeyed. This only fueled her hatred for me and I knew it so it made me even angrier. The night I turned eighteen I left and didn’t look back. It didn’t take long after I left I met a boy, he was charming at first. I fell in love hard for him but after I gave up my flower, he gave me up. After him I was more careful, at least I thought so. I was gone from home for two years and I met Jack, he treated me very well. After six months, I found out I was pregnant, I told him and he proposed and we were married that next month. We found out that we were having twin girls, we went and bought all the things you normally buy, but it felt like something was missing. I realized it was my mother and I decided to call her. The phone rang a couple times and just before I was about to hang up she picked up. She sounded the same and I said hello and she asked where I was and why I had left. Told me I was in danger and how I needed to come before something happens. I told her I was fine and that I had great news, but before I could tell her, her voice changed, she started saying ‘what did you do’. I tried to find out what happened and she just started yelling ‘to not come home and to stay away from her family’, she hung up. I was devastated that my mother had left me alone again. I swore I would never leave my daughters like she left me. Four months later, on November 1st at twelve and 12:01 am, two beautiful and healthy baby girls were born. We named them Camilla and Isabella, they were not identical twins because one had full blonde locks and the other had stick straight brown hair. Over the next 3 years they would start to show their personalities, Camilla, Cami, was very outgoing and social, people were drawn to her but Isabella, Izzy, she was quiet and very reserved she tended to want to play alone but Cami wouldn’t let her be alone. When they started school it got better they started to fit in better. When my girls turned ten years old there was an accident, Jack died. He was working outside and fell from a ladder. He was dead when he hit the ground, the coroner said “when he fell he fell straight on his head and it broke his neck’. It was hard on the girls, we all couldn’t believe it. I didn’t know what to do, my girls stopped talking and they didn’t want to eat, I called my mother. I hoped she would tell me it would be okay. Instead she told me ‘how I brought this on myself when I gave birth to those abominations.’ She hung up and that was the last time I talked to her. I had to figure it out myself and I did. My girls turned sixteen years old and I had a big party for them. That night my phone rang and a old friend told me that my mother had died. I thought I wouldn’t have any feelings but I couldn’t help but be devastated. I asked her when the service was and she said she wouldn’t come if she was me. I pleaded with her and she finally told me. Here I am back home, I cross the city line and I feel a surge. The girls were asleep and I pulled up in front of my childhood home. I park the car and walk to the gate, as I walk closer all my memories come flying back. I stand in front of the steps to the porch and stare at the door. Waiting for mother to come out and tell me to get inside before something happens. I start to go up the steps when from behind me a hand grabs my shoulder. I turn around fast and there stands Dianna. She has a very stern look on her face, just like mother, she says to me in a very calm but forceful voice, “how dare you come here.” I guess I shouldn’t have expected anything less, but I hoped. “she was my mother too.” She laughed, “ oh was she, she never wanted you. You were always a liability, a danger to all around.” Dianna knew how to hurt me, just like mother, so she used what hurt me the most. “ nevertheless Dianna I will be attending her funeral.” I turned to walk away when she grabbed my arm. “ I wouldn’t if I was you. Mothers friends won’t allow it.” I jerked my arm from her. “I’d like to see them try. We will be there and if they get in my way I will make a scene.” Dianna looked at me in disbelief and confusion. “We? Who else did you bring?” “I brought my daughters, your neices” Dianna looked scared. “ Tamara, you must take them away from here. Its not safe.” Dianna pleaded. While we were arguing I did not hear the car door open. From behind me, “Mama, is everything alright”, I turn and Cami is standing at the gate. “Mama?” Dianna looks at Cami and at me, “oh my she looks just like her” “Cami, get back in the car now” I tell her and turn back to Dianna, “looks like who?” I knew she wasn’t talking about mother because neither one of my girls look like her. “No one. Get them out of here! They shouldn’t be here!” she yelled. I stared at her, she was scared. There was only one person that scared Dianna and she is dead. What’s going on here and what does it have to do with my girls? I am not going to leave but I am going to keep my girls safe. She stared back at me then she headed up the stairs and into the house. I stared at the house for a minute then I turned to the car where my girls looked at me with so many questions. I walked back to the car and opened the door where the girls went to ask questions but stopped and they sat back turning to look at the house. I drove away and I decided to drive right out of town. “Umm mom” Izzy looking so confused. “Izzy not now,” I say to her because I don’t even know what I am doing. We drive to a town over and got a room. We got signed in and to the room then we went to sleep. They say sleep can heal, well that’s a lie because I feel worse today then yesterday, still I get up and make coffee and sit so I can decide what to do. I want to take my girls as far from Bridgeport as I can but I know that is just what Dianna wants and I refuse to give up my chance to say good bye. My girls are sleeping so peacefully when a knock on the door brought me back to reality. The girls stir a little but they still stay asleep, they could sleep through anything. I got to the window next to the door and peak out and it's Freddie. Freddie was a friend of my mothers, but he always tried to make up for mothers hatefulness. I open the door just a crack, I ask, “can I help you?” He steps back and say, “ well first off you can come out here and give me a hug!” I reluctantly open the door and go out. He wraps me in a big hug, “you were missed, girl!” “Missed you too, uncle Freddie” I say to him. He smelled just like when I was a kid, peppermint and tea tree, I remember it like it was yesterday. He never called me by my name, it was always little girl or girl. I am pretty sure he doesn’t even remember my name, but he sure remember Dianna’s. I remember one time when we were about fourteen he had come for a visit with mother and Dianna was being her normal bratty self and picking at me. I had told her to leave me alone, had to be about a thousand time, when out of no where he busted out. “ Dianna, you better leave that girl alone or I’m gonna paddle you!” He didn’t exactly yell at her but he was very stern and hard unlike with me he was always gentle. After that mother didn’t invite him over much but when mother would go into town for groceries or to take Dianna to do something he would stop by and say hi and ask me if I was doing alright, he would ask if I needed anything. It was always fine and no but the next time he’d bring me something he would say to cheer me up. He always remember my birthday and was kind to me. After some more pleasantries he asked if I would be coming to my mothers funeral. I shook my head yes and he smiled then he got up from the patio seat and said he had to go he had just heard I was in town, he had wanted to see me and say hello. He gave me another large hug and gave me his business card and told me to call if I needed anything. I went back into the room and the girls were still sound asleep, I went to take a shower. I hadn’t heard any stirring from the girls, I yelled out, “ Girls! Get up!” I heard a thunk noise and wondered which one had fallen. “ Are you alright?” Silence, then the door opened. “ughh… I miss my bed!” Cami whined as she plopped down on the toilet. I continue my shower and decide that we are going to go to the funeral. The girls each get a shower, I am watching the clock and dreading going but I know I need to say good bye. We pile into the car and head back into Bridgeport. We drive through town and see people walking towards the cemetery, I waved to people I recognized but most of them just stared at us while we drove pass. I pull up and there are a lot of cars here, most the town must be here. We get up and walk toward the crowd. While walking I see people that I had known my whole life, then people that I had never met but there was one face I remember, Ms. Jacki. My first meeting with her was when I was six and I remember so clear because its when mother was nice to me, Ms. Jacki, had come to have a meeting with mother and when mother had guests we were to sit outside or play. She had been there for probably two hours and I heard them saying goodbye and I stood up waiting because I had to go to the bathroom. When she came out the door, she looked at me and gave me this look and turned to mother and said “remember what we said about her”. I remember thinking what is she talking about, but it must have made an impact because shortly after that mother started being hateful. Every visit after that mother would tell me to wait in the back because she didn’t want me to make Ms. Jacki upset. I only ever had one other meeting with her, when I was fifteen mother was having a party for Dianna and she had invited a bunch of her friends as well. I was not allowed to come to the party so I stayed in my room. I could see the party from my room and I saw all of Dianna’s friends around her, mother was all smiles watching her with glee. As I am watching them I didn’t hear the door open or anyone come in but just as she was blowing out the candle, a hand grabbed my arm and jerks me around causing me to trip and fall into the side table and onto the bed. As I grabbed my side Ms. Jacki said to me, “ you should be grateful she kept you alive we said they should have ended you” after saying that she stared at me then she just left. That would be the last time my door was left unlocked. Thinking back to that day was enough for chills to go up my spine. I walked past her with my head held high. I walked over to Dianna and she was just staring at the hole in the ground. Without looking at me said “what are you doing here?” “she was my mother too” I repeat for the hundredth time it feels like. That next second a girl that could be Camis twin walked up next to Dianna. “Mother! I wanna leave!” the girl yelled. It pulled Dianna out of her trance. “Tia, stop! Its your grandmothers funeral.” Dianna sternly but whispered to her. “mother? Dianna you had a child? Did mother know?” I start blurting out questions. “ who are you nosey?” Tia says to me. “Tia sit down and shut up” Dianna snaps at her. Then turns and grabs my arm pulling me away. “Tamara, I told you not to come!” just as she was saying that Cami and Izzy came up to me. “ you brought them? You must leave now before people see them!” Just like that Dianna was gone. “Mom people keep calling me Tia” Cami says as she walks closer to me. I see a police car pull up and out steps a man dressed in a very clean cut uniform, he looks familiar but I can't place him. As he walks closer to us I think back and can not place him. He is coming straight for us. “Tamara, you are gonna need to leave” he says to me in a very calm way. “excuse me? Why?” I ask trying to be polite. “I was asked to have you removed” he says looking down. “ I don’t understand ive done nothing wrong.” I look over and there’s Jacki smiling. “Im sorry, I know this is a hard time but you have to go” he rests his hand on his belt above his tazzer. “Mom!” Izzy and Cami yell as they run toward me. “Tia, go to your mother” the officer said putting his arm out like to protect her from me. “oh my freaking god! My names are Cami! That’s our mom right there!” Cami yelled making a scene that the officer had been trying to avoid. The officer stared in disbelief and so did the whole funeral. All eyes were on us so I pushed past the officer and grabbed my girls and started walking away from the crowd. We walk down the hill from the cemetery and to my surprise there are two figures standing next to my car. As I approach I notice the two figures. “Hey, auntie” said Tia, Camis double. “Your not suppose to be here” the other one, Daphne, says in a snarky way, reminding me so much of Dianna. “Mother told you to leave town, no one wants you here. Your own mother didn’t want you here.” I push passed and usher my girls in. Saying nothing because if they are anything like Dianna they will try to start a fight. “Daph, that is really rude. Shes family!” Tia said as she runs to my side of the car as I am trying to get in. “I’m sorry about her. I'm Tia.” She extends her hand to me. I grab her hand and shake it and say, “Hello, Tia, I am Tamara” “ive heard about you. Mother talks about you to her friends, so did grandmother. Never mentioned kids though but I am happy to meet you.” She smiles and looks at the girls then at me again. She is nothing like Dianna, she reminds me of myself. “Oh shut up, Tia. You know why they were never around because she liked to whore around.” Daphne said pushing Tia out of the way, getting in my face. “isnt that right?” “Daphne! Get away from her! Right now!” Dianna yelled as she came down the hill. “Yes mother!” she ran to Dianna, “ sorry mother Tia ran after her” “Tia! Go get in the car! God I can’t take you anywhere. Knew I should have left you at home.” Dianna yelled at her and Tia put her head down and ran. “ Wow Dianna decided to do what mother did. Choosing to favor one over the other. You are just like her!” “shut up Tami” as she walked away. I got into my car and drove back to the hotel. The girls sat in the back and were quiet the whole way. When we got to the hotel they rushed out and headed straight to the room. As I got out of the car, Freddie, came to the door. “Why?” he said as I got out. Pushing passed him I asked, “why, what?” “ why would you come back knowing you were bringing evil!” Freddie yelled. “I don’t understand you people! Those are my children and they are not evil.” I throw my hands up and walk away. “ do you not remember the curse?” he says trailing right behind me. “Of course I do! My mother hated me because of it!” I turned and yelled. He steps back and looks at me as if I shot him. “ my mother was cruel and evil. She treated me like a pariah and made me feel like a useless waste of space because of your stupid curse. I left here because of her and I returned because of her obviously I was mistaken in coming back seeing as since I came back people have made me remember why I left. But guess what my girls and I will be moving back. You wanna say I am cursed and my children are evil well guess what evils gonna be living down the street” I didn’t realize but I had been yelling and he just stood there and stared in disbelief. When I had finished he turned and walked to his car and once he got into the car he pulled out of the space and just before he pulled out he rolled his window down and stopped beside me “ your making a big mistake” then he pulled out. I watched as he pulled onto the road and drove away. The girls and I had talked about moving closer to this area because I wanted to try to have a relationship with my sister the girls aunt. They finally pushed me to my limit and now I want to move here just to spite them, to spite mother. Mother may be dead but she still remains. Now it was time to face the girls and find out what they thought. As I got to the room I heard the girls asking why those other girls look like them. I didn’t have an answer but I was going to find out. I came into the room and no one said anything, they just watched as I went to the table and put the keys down. I stood there looking at the wall for a couple minutes feeling there eyes on my back. “ Alright girls we gotta talk” I said turning towards them. I talked with the girls for a long while and the responded differently then I thought. They were totally okay with moving here and they felt drawn to the place as soon as we got there. I got on the phone and contacted my friend that had told me about the funeral. I asked her to tell me of any rental. She said she didn’t know of any and that I don’t want to come back for good. She was no help so I waited until later and the girls and I went to look for a house. We drove around all night and it wasn’t until about four the next morning that we found the house. It was near the entrance into town on a back road leading to a house that was very old. I remember when I was a girl a old couple lived here and they used to say that the house was haunted, back then it looked like it. Not now though, it must have been remodeled because it was actually very bright and welcoming. I got the name of the agent and gave them a call when I got back to the hotel and left them a voicemail saying I was interested. I had just gotten to sleep when my phone started ring, I looked at it and it was the real estate agent. She said she would love to talk numbers and we met up about four hours later and I signed the paper about an hour after that. You maybe asking yourself, what that’s not how it works, well it does when you have cash and give them exactly what they are asking. So the girls and I got the keys and then we drove back to our house and started packing When I bought the house I told them to keep it anonymous because I wanted to keep it from anyone so that my house wouldn’t magically burn down. It took about 3 months for the girls to finish school and get us all packed. We had movers come in and put all of our stuff in a pod, many memories and heartbreak. As the day approaches my house, my children's childhood was here, its hard saying good bye to my home and Jack. It has been hard living here without jack and remembering the life we had before he died or the life we could have had, leaving is sad but it’s a new start that we need. The day has come, moving day, the girls and I sit on the porch as the movers finish loading the pod. We sit and look inside at our empty house, the girls are emotional but they stay relatively positive. “Your sure you girls are alright with leaving this behind?” I say grabbing my girls hands. “Yes, mom, I will miss it here but we need a new start and plus we can get closer to family maybe” Izzy says as she wipes a tear away. I lean over and hug her as tight as I can. “Mom, do you think daddy would be okay with this?” Cami asked, making me think back to when the girls were about two. Jack had said he wanted to go meet the family and talk about moving close. His family lived about four hours away, in Portland, that would make him close and also able to make a reconnection with my family. Maybe life would have been different if I hadn’t held a grudge. “yes, I think he would have been alright with this move. He wanted us closer to all our family.” Cami tears up and looks at the tree in front of the house. “Well lets going then” Izzy jumps up and puts her hands out. Cami puts her hand in Izzys hand. “Lets do this twin” Cami smirks. The drive was normal, long and nerve wracking, but I am eager to get it over with. Once we go over the city line I felt a sense of trouble, when I was young I would get this feeling before mother would come home and I would get into trouble, I instantly think of my mother when this happens. We turn down the road and I go about two miles down the road and there is my house. It looks so beautiful and peaceful. We pull up and stand outside looking at the splendor of the house. The movers pull up about five minutes later and the ask where they wanted the pod put. I point to a patio spot next to the french doors. They go to move the pod but I wave for them to stop. “Wait! Wait! I need to do something first.” The movers rolled their eyes and leaned on the truck. I go to the car and grab my phone. “Hey can one of you guys take a photo of us?” a mover with a patch that said Ted pushed off the truck and grabbed the phone. “Girls come here!” “mom wait no” Cami says as she pats her hair. “I look like trash” “oh my gosh come on” I grab the girls each of them on each side. They wrap their arms around me and we smile big. The mover clicked a couple because we would here the shutter sound. In a deep raspy voice, Ted, says, “can we get to work now?” I nod and run to the french doors then I have the “head” mover follow me into the house so I could show him where the stuff goes. He nods and they start the move inside. The move in took about four hours and because of the time, I gave each of them a little extra. They say thank you, they load up and drive away. After the long day we eat and go to bed. We were in the house unpacking for the last four days when I received a phone call at like three am, I roll over and grab my phone. “Hello?” I ask in a groggy sleepy voice. The person on the other end is in a panic crying and stuttering. So I pull the phone away from my head and it’s Jacks mother. “Stephany? Whats wrong?” “where are you? Are the girls with you?” Stephany yells. “Of course they are in bed. Whats going on?” “well your house is on fire” my house is on fire? Then it hits me she doesn’t know that we moved. “Stephany, we moved. What do you mean its on fire?” “Oh my, thank god, I thought id lost you guys” she pauses and you hear her blow her nose “I know that weve been very distant since jacks death but I do love you and the girls.” “I know Stephany, he was your baby. It was hard losing him” I pause because you can hear her sobbing. “how do you know the house is on fire?” “Berta, she called and said that the fire trucks were at the house and the house was engulfed in flames.” Stephany explains that as soon as she got off the phone with Berta, she called me. “We are fine, we are safe. We moved like five days ago.” I explained that we needed a change and we wanted to be closer. We talked for about another fifteen minutes and we said our goodbyes, she said she would call later and that she is going to plan a trip to see us. After she hangs up I call my old neighbor, Tiffy. The phone rings a couple time and finally she answered, “Tam, you'll never believe what happened!” “I know, my mother in law called in a panic because one of her old friends called. She thought we still lived there. What happened?” “It came out of no where, we were sitting outside and enjoying our wine when out of nowhere we hear a explosion and smell smoke. We ran to the fence and looked over and it was completely in flames and there was wood and stuff all over the place. It’s a good thing Jack had put the fence so far from the house or it would have caught fire.” “ oh man that’s crazy.” I say as my phone starts vibrating, I look down and it says police department. “I gotta go, it’s the cops” I answer the call. “Hello.” “Tamara Towns?” the voice says. “yes,” “Mrs. Towns, there has been an accident.” “yes, I just talked to my neighbor she said my old house is on fire” “yes maam. So no one is in the home?” “yes sir. It was empty, we just moved out four days ago. The new family weren’t moving in for another six weeks.” “alright, maam. Just out of curiosity how many people knew you were moving?” “umm, well my neighbors and few friends” “okay. Did you have home owners insurance?” “Yes, wait no I cancelled it right before we moved.” “do you know if the new owners had insurance?” “no because it was still going through the loan process and they actually hadn't bought the house yet” “really? Was there any problem before you left?” “no, we had everything checked before we put it on the market. We had them check the electrical and the structure of the house.” “does the house have gas running to it?” “no sir it was completely electric. It had been converted to all electric like forty years ago. My late husband hired an electrician when we were about to move in about seventeen years ago. He wanted to make sure it was safe for us and at the time our unborn babies.” “ can I have the name of the electrian you had come out to check before you moved” “of course, His name was Alexander Graves, the real estate agent called the company, I think it was Graves and sons electric or something.” “ alright maam, thank you. I am sorry to have called you this early.” “no problem, thank you for calling. Can you keep me informed on the findings?” “of course maam” he sounds confused and he hangs up. After getting off the phone I sit and look out the window, wondering of what could have happened if we hadn’t moved. Its about six in the morning and the sun is finally coming up and I hear foot steps coming down the stairs. I wait and Cami and Izzy come around the corner and they looked like they haven’t slept. I jump up and go over to them and feel their heads. “girls, are you alright?” “we are fine just tired, I didn’t sleep well” cami says scooting her feet to the coffee pot. “Me either” izzy plops down at the table. “why not?” “bad dreams” they both said at the same time. I find that very strange. “What type of dreams” I ask them. “Ill go first, well it started in a dark room, I hear voices and see flashes of light. Then I hear the voices chanting something then I hear our names then I see our house on fire” Izzy stopping because she wiped the tears away. Cami just stares in disbelief. “Cam, whats wrong?” “I know this is gonna sound crazy but I had the same dreams” Cami looks like she had seen a ghost and the girls hug and try to comfort each other. “well girls I have some bad news. The house caught on fire last night. It was burned to the ground.” The girls both put their hands to their mouth. “This is to weird! Mom how did we see this happen?” “I don’t know baby.” I comfort the girls and tell them to go lay down and try to relax. They didn’t, they went out to the patio and looked at field. You can see the pain and fear in the way they look out. I hate seeing the pain and fear so its time to figure out whats going on. When we moved into the house we stay'd on the property, unpacking and cleaning. On our way here we had stopped and picked up groceries so that we wouldn’t have to go into town. I was trying to stay out of sight until we're settled. We are at home for another week and the girls are getting restless. We are sitting down for dinner when my phone rings, it say it’s the police department. “hello?” “Mrs. Towns” the voice from the night of the fire. “Yes, sir” “ma’am, I wanted to call and tell you about your house,” “was it electrical” “no maam. The fire marshal can not find the cause of the fire or the explosion that your neighbor heard. The fire marshal said that they believe that someone had started the fire. They said that they believe that if you had been in the home there would have been no way to get out. Do you know of anyone that would want to hurt you or your children?” Of course I did, anyone that knew my sister, mother or was from their group but I won't through my family under the bridge. “no sir” “it might have been just kids messing around. Luckily no one was hurt.” “what happens now?” “well we will continue the investigation. If we find anything we will contact you.” We say our goodbyes and he hangs up. I put the phone down and the girls looked at me for answers. “that was the police, they said they can not find a cause for the fire. They wondered if anyone would have started it.” “Why didn’t you tell them about your sister and her friends?” Cami asked “she is my family and we have no proof” I say and Cami rolled her eyes “would you want to turn in Izzy?” “of course not!” “even though my sister is not how I want her to be doesn’t mean I am willing to throw her under the bus.” What I wasn’t telling them was I am going to get to the bottom of this. I just have to wait until they are away. About a week later, Stephany came down to see us, when her car pulls in I smile because she reminds me of jack. They were both very kind and loving, you can feel it when your in there presence. The car stops and a women that’s brown hair had stripes of gray and her face was full of life and glowed with happiness, jumped out and ran to me with her arms out stretched. “oh dear! Its been to long!” stephany yells as she squeezes me tight. She lets go and steps back and looked at me, “are you eating enough?” “yes, I think so. Come in the girls are inside.” “oh yes, beautiful home.” When we walk inside she looks at the décor and you can tell that she was happy with the décor. We walk into the sunroom and the girls turn and loom at her. “oh my goodness, you girls are so beautiful. I swear its been to long.” She put her wrinkled hands to her mouth. She walks to them and grabs them, pulls them to her. They hug her back and they start catching up. She stays the night, so I decide to go out and pay a visit to some family. I get into my car and drive to my childhood home. When I get there was a light on, in mothers old room, I take a deep breath and walk through the gate and onto the porch. I hesitate for a moment and try to pull all my strength to comfront her. I knock on the door and I hear foot steps coming down the stairs. “who is it?” “open the door” I say “Tam?” I hear the door handle rattle quickly. The door flew open and Dianna stood looking sad and you can tell she had been crying, “your suppose to be dead!” she says staring at me in disbelief. “well here I am” I say feeling angry because she just confirmed that she at least knew someone tried to kill us. “care to tell me who tried to kill me and my children” I feel a vibration coming from me. I figure it was because I was so angry until Dianna fell into the door. I anger stops and like a rubber band snapped I stumbled back. I shake “ what was that?” “you know you shouldn’t get so angry sister” Dianna says sounding out of breath. “What is going one!?” “it’s the council” “the council?” “you remember mother would have people come by every week, that was the council member checking on you.” “checking on me, why?” “mother was not your birth mother. The council brought you to her when you were born.” “me don’t you mean us” “no, just you. We arent your real family. You did have a sister though, Tia was her daughter. They brought her to mother when she was born but mother was to old so they said that the responsibility fell to me. They told me that she was like you and she needed to be kept away from others.” “oh wow, I wondered why I felt like an outsider. Where is my sister, Dianna?” “shes dead” “they killed her didn’t they” “yes, im sorry” “wheres Tias twin?” “with the council” “tomorrow I will be back and Tia needs to be ready, shes coming with me, her actual family!” “I cant do that. They will kill me” “guess that itll have to be our secret then” “fine” “oh one more thing which council member has her” Trying to play stupid she says, “ has who?” “tias twin” I stare at her and I feel the vibration starting and she kind of stumbles. “Freddie” “if you warn them or hurt Tia. I will involve the police.” I turn and go back to my car, and I go home to make a plan. When I get home the girls are sitting at the table. “well where have you been?” Cami says as they stand up and cross there arms.

"body": "This is the story I created but this is part 1 and I would like feed back. \n\nNever assume someone is telling you the truth that’s how you get hurt. I wish I had known before this mess got started. \nI was born in a small town, where your closest neighbor would be a mile away and they knew you plus your family. My family goes back thousands of years in this town, when I was a kid I told everyone I would move away from this place and never come back, didn’t quite happen that way. \nWhen I look at the sign it says “Welcome to Bridgeport” but all I hear is mother saying you can run from here but you’ll be back, this town has a way of bringing you back. Bridgeport, the town with real mystery, or a town full of magic. My family has a strong connection with magic. Witches and warlocks, they date back to when the town first became a town, my families history. \nYou may not believe but I was raised and taught about the magic in the world. There are two types of magic, light and dark, my family comes from the light, our responsibility is to protect the people in town. This is what I ran from, plus the curse. A curse is usually passed down from generation to generation but not this time. This cursed was destined for me and I thought if I left it would go away but I was wrong. \nThe curse, it went like this, when a set of twins are born and one has great beauty and the other has great intelligence. Beware the beauty because she will birth a great evil. My mother told us this from the time we were able to understand. We went to school until we were teenager’s then she pulled me out of school and started homeschooling while my sister, Dianna, continued school. She had friends while I had no one but mother. \nI hated my sister because mother loved her so much and she hated me. I didn’t understand why or how she could hate me so much. Due to these feelings, I rebelled and disobeyed. This only fueled her hatred for me and I knew it so it made me even angrier. The night I turned eighteen I left and didn’t look back.\nIt didn’t take long after I left I met a boy, he was charming at first. \nThe phone rang a couple times and just before I was about to hang up she picked up. \nI was devastated that my mother had left me alone again. \nWhen my girls turned ten years old there was an accident, Jack died. \nMy girls turned sixteen years old and I had a big party for them. That night my phone rang and a old friend told me that my mother had died. I thought I wouldn’t have any feelings but I couldn’t help but be devastated. I asked her when the service was and she said she wouldn’t come if she was me. I pleaded with her and she finally told me.\nHere I am back home, I cross the city line and I feel a surge. I turn around fast and there stands Dianna.\nShe has a very stern look on her face, just like mother, she says to me in a very calm but forceful voice, “how dare you come here.”\nI guess I shouldn’t have expected anything less, but I hoped. “she was my mother too.”\nShe laughed, “ oh was she, she never wanted you. You were always a liability, a danger to all around.” Dianna knew how to hurt me, just like mother, so she used what hurt me the most. \n“ nevertheless Dianna I will be attending her funeral.” I turned to walk away when she grabbed my arm. \n“ I wouldn’t if I was you. Mothers friends won’t allow it.” I jerked my arm from her.\n“I’d like to see them try. We will be there and if they get in my way I will make a scene.” Dianna looked at me in disbelief and confusion. \n“We? Who else did you bring?”\n“I brought my daughters, your neices” Dianna looked scared. \n“ Tamara, you must take them away from here. Its not safe.” Dianna pleaded. While we were arguing I did not hear the car door open. \nFrom behind me, “Mama, is everything alright”, I turn and Cami is standing at the gate. \n“Mama?” Dianna looks at Cami and at me, “oh my she looks just like her”\n“Cami, get back in the car now” I tell her and turn back to Dianna, “looks like who?” I knew she wasn’t talking about mother because neither one of my girls look like her. \n“No one. \nI stared at the house for a minute then I turned to the car where my girls looked at me with so many questions. I walked back to the car and opened the door where the girls went to ask questions but stopped and they sat back turning to look at the house. I drove away and I decided to drive right out of town. \n“Umm mom” Izzy looking so confused. \n“Izzy not now,” I say to her because I don’t even know what I am doing. We drive to a town over and got a room. We got signed in and to the room then we went to sleep.\nThey say sleep can heal, well that’s a lie because I feel worse today then yesterday, still I get up and make coffee and sit so I can decide what to do. \nI open the door just a crack, I ask, “can I help you?” \nHe steps back and say, “ well first off you can come out here and give me a hug!” I reluctantly open the door and go out. He wraps me in a big hug, “you were missed, girl!”\n“Missed you too, uncle Freddie” I say to him. He always remember my birthday and was kind to me.\nAfter some more pleasantries he asked if I would be coming to my mothers funeral. \nI hadn’t heard any stirring from the girls, I yelled out, “ Girls! Get up!” I heard a thunk noise and wondered which one had fallen. “ Are you alright?” Silence, then the door opened.\n“ughh… I miss my bed!” Cami whined as she plopped down on the toilet. I continue my shower and decide that we are going to go to the funeral. \nThe girls each get a shower, I am watching the clock and dreading going but I know I need to say good bye. We pile into the car and head back into Bridgeport. We drive through town and see people walking towards the cemetery, I waved to people I recognized but most of them just stared at us while we drove pass. I pull up and there are a lot of cars here, most the town must be here. We get up and walk toward the crowd. \nWhile walking I see people that I had known my whole life, then people that I had never met but there was one face I remember, Ms. \nThinking back to that day was enough for chills to go up my spine. I walked past her with my head held high. I walked over to Dianna and she was just staring at the hole in the ground. Without looking at me said “what are you doing here?” \n“she was my mother too” I repeat for the hundredth time it feels like. That next second a girl that could be Camis twin walked up next to Dianna. \n“Mother! I wanna leave!” the girl yelled. It pulled Dianna out of her trance. \n“Tia, stop! Its your grandmothers funeral.” Dianna sternly but whispered to her. \n“mother? Dianna you had a child? Did mother know?” I start blurting out questions. \n“ who are you nosey?” Tia says to me. \n“Tia sit down and shut up” Dianna snaps at her. Then turns and grabs my arm pulling me away. “Tamara, I told you not to come!” just as she was saying that Cami and Izzy came up to me. “ you brought them? You must leave now before people see them!” Just like that Dianna was gone. \n“Mom people keep calling me Tia” Cami says as she walks closer to me. I see a police car pull up and out steps a man dressed in a very clean cut uniform, he looks familiar but I can't place him. As he walks closer to us I think back and can not place him. He is coming straight for us.\n“Tamara, you are gonna need to leave” he says to me in a very calm way. \n“excuse me? Why?” I ask trying to be polite. \n“I was asked to have you removed” he says looking down. \n“ I don’t understand ive done nothing wrong.” I look over and there’s Jacki smiling. \n“Im sorry, I know this is a hard time but you have to go” he rests his hand on his belt above his tazzer. \n“Mom!” Izzy and Cami yell as they run toward me. \n“Tia, go to your mother” the officer said putting his arm out like to protect her from me.\n“oh my freaking god! My names are Cami! That’s our mom right there!” Cami yelled making a scene that the officer had been trying to avoid. The officer stared in disbelief and so did the whole funeral. \nAll eyes were on us so I pushed past the officer and grabbed my girls and started walking away from the crowd. We walk down the hill from the cemetery and to my surprise there are two figures standing next to my car. As I approach I notice the two figures. \n“Hey, auntie” said Tia, Camis double. \n“Your not suppose to be here” the other one, Daphne, says in a snarky way, reminding me so much of Dianna. “Mother told you to leave town, no one wants you here. Your own mother didn’t want you here.” I push passed and usher my girls in. Saying nothing because if they are anything like Dianna they will try to start a fight. \n“Daph, that is really rude. Shes family!” Tia said as she runs to my side of the car as I am trying to get in. “I’m sorry about her. I'm Tia.” She extends her hand to me.\nI grab her hand and shake it and say, “Hello, Tia, I am Tamara”\n“ive heard about you. Mother talks about you to her friends, so did grandmother. Never mentioned kids though but I am happy to meet you.” She smiles and looks at the girls then at me again. She is nothing like Dianna, she reminds me of myself. \n“Oh shut up, Tia. You know why they were never around because she liked to whore around.” Daphne said pushing Tia out of the way, getting in my face. “isnt that right?” \n“Daphne! Get away from her! Right now!” Dianna yelled as she came down the hill. \n“Yes mother!” she ran to Dianna, “ sorry mother Tia ran after her” \n“Tia! Go get in the car! God I can’t take you anywhere. Knew I should have left you at home.” Dianna yelled at her and Tia put her head down and ran. \n“ Wow Dianna decided to do what mother did. Choosing to favor one over the other. You are just like her!” \n“shut up Tami” as she walked away. \nI got into my car and drove back to the hotel. The girls sat in the back and were quiet the whole way. When we got to the hotel they rushed out and headed straight to the room. As I got out of the car, Freddie, came to the door. \n“Why?” he said as I got out. \nPushing passed him I asked, “why, what?”\n“ why would you come back knowing you were bringing evil!” Freddie yelled. \n“I don’t understand you people! Those are my children and they are not evil.” I throw my hands up and walk away. \n“ do you not remember the curse?” he says trailing right behind me. \n“Of course I do! When I had finished he turned and walked to his car and once he got into the car he pulled out of the space and just before he pulled out he rolled his window down and stopped beside me\n“ your making a big mistake” then he pulled out. \nI watched as he pulled onto the road and drove away. \nAs I got to the room I heard the girls asking why those other girls look like them. I didn’t have an answer but I was going to find out. I came into the room and no one said anything, they just watched as I went to the table and put the keys down. I stood there looking at the wall for a couple minutes feeling there eyes on my back. \n“ Alright girls we gotta talk” I said turning towards them. \nI talked with the girls for a long while and the responded differently then I thought. \nI had just gotten to sleep when my phone started ring, I looked at it and it was the real estate agent. She said she would love to talk numbers and we met up about four hours later and I signed the paper about an hour after that. You maybe asking yourself, what that’s not how it works, well it does when you have cash and give them exactly what they are asking. So the girls and I got the keys and then we drove back to our house and started packing \nWhen I bought the house I told them to keep it anonymous because I wanted to keep it from anyone so that my house wouldn’t magically burn down. \nThe day has come, moving day, the girls and I sit on the porch as the movers finish loading the pod. We sit and look inside at our empty house, the girls are emotional but they stay relatively positive. \n“Your sure you girls are alright with leaving this behind?” I say grabbing my girls hands. \n“Yes, mom, I will miss it here but we need a new start and plus we can get closer to family maybe” Izzy says as she wipes a tear away. I lean over and hug her as tight as I can. \n“Mom, do you think daddy would be okay with this?” Cami asked, making me think back to when the girls were about two. Jack had said he wanted to go meet the family and talk about moving close. His family lived about four hours away, in Portland, that would make him close and also able to make a reconnection with my family. Maybe life would have been different if I hadn’t held a grudge. \n“yes, I think he would have been alright with this move. He wanted us closer to all our family.” Cami tears up and looks at the tree in front of the house. \n“Well lets going then” Izzy jumps up and puts her hands out. Cami puts her hand in Izzys hand. \n“Lets do this twin” Cami smirks. \nThe drive was normal, long and nerve wracking, but I am eager to get it over with. They go to move the pod but I wave for them to stop.\n“Wait! Wait! I need to do something first.” The movers rolled their eyes and leaned on the truck. I go to the car and grab my phone. “Hey can one of you guys take a photo of us?” a mover with a patch that said Ted pushed off the truck and grabbed the phone. “Girls come here!” \n“mom wait no” Cami says as she pats her hair. “I look like trash”\n“oh my gosh come on” I grab the girls each of them on each side. They wrap their arms around me and we smile big. The mover clicked a couple because we would here the shutter sound. \nIn a deep raspy voice, Ted, says, “can we get to work now?” I nod and run to the french doors then I have the “head” mover follow me into the house so I could show him where the stuff goes. He nods and they start the move inside. \nThe move in took about four hours and because of the time, I gave each of them a little extra. They say thank you, they load up and drive away. After the long day we eat and go to bed. \nWe were in the house unpacking for the last four days when I received a phone call at like three am, I roll over and grab my phone.\n“Hello?” I ask in a groggy sleepy voice. The person on the other end is in a panic crying and stuttering. So I pull the phone away from my head and it’s Jacks mother. “Stephany? Whats wrong?” \n“where are you? Are the girls with you?” Stephany yells.\n“Of course they are in bed. Whats going on?”\n“well your house is on fire” my house is on fire? Then it hits me she doesn’t know that we moved. \n“Stephany, we moved. What do you mean its on fire?”\n“Oh my, thank god, I thought id lost you guys” she pauses and you hear her blow her nose “I know that weve been very distant since jacks death but I do love you and the girls.” \n“I know Stephany, he was your baby. It was hard losing him” I pause because you can hear her sobbing. “how do you know the house is on fire?” \n“Berta, she called and said that the fire trucks were at the house and the house was engulfed in flames.” Stephany explains that as soon as she got off the phone with Berta, she called me. \n“We are fine, we are safe. We moved like five days ago.” I explained that we needed a change and we wanted to be closer. We talked for about another fifteen minutes and we said our goodbyes, she said she would call later and that she is going to plan a trip to see us. After she hangs up I call my old neighbor, Tiffy. \nThe phone rings a couple time and finally she answered, “Tam, you'll never believe what happened!” \n“I know, my mother in law called in a panic because one of her old friends called. She thought we still lived there. What happened?”\n“It came out of no where, we were sitting outside and enjoying our wine when out of nowhere we hear a explosion and smell smoke. We ran to the fence and looked over and it was completely in flames and there was wood and stuff all over the place. It’s a good thing Jack had put the fence so far from the house or it would have caught fire.”\n“ oh man that’s crazy.” I say as my phone starts vibrating, I look down and it says police department. “I gotta go, it’s the cops” I answer the call. “Hello.”\n“Tamara Towns?” the voice says.\n“yes,” \n“Mrs. Towns, there has been an accident.”\n“yes, I just talked to my neighbor she said my old house is on fire”\n“yes maam. So no one is in the home?”\n“yes sir. It was empty, we just moved out four days ago. The new family weren’t moving in for another six weeks.”\n“alright, maam. Just out of curiosity how many people knew you were moving?”\n“umm, well my neighbors and few friends”\n“okay. Did you have home owners insurance?”\n“Yes, wait no I cancelled it right before we moved.” \n“do you know if the new owners had insurance?”\n“no because it was still going through the loan process and they actually hadn't bought the house yet”\n“really? Was there any problem before you left?”\n“no, we had everything checked before we put it on the market. We had them check the electrical and the structure of the house.” \n“does the house have gas running to it?”\n“no sir it was completely electric. It had been converted to all electric like forty years ago. My late husband hired an electrician when we were about to move in about seventeen years ago. He wanted to make sure it was safe for us and at the time our unborn babies.” \n“ can I have the name of the electrian you had come out to check before you moved”\n“of course, His name was Alexander Graves, the real estate agent called the company, I think it was Graves and sons electric or something.”\n“ alright maam, thank you. I am sorry to have called you this early.”\n“no problem, thank you for calling. Can you keep me informed on the findings?”\n“of course maam” he sounds confused and he hangs up. \nAfter getting off the phone I sit and look out the window, wondering of what could have happened if we hadn’t moved. Its about six in the morning and the sun is finally coming up and I hear foot steps coming down the stairs. I wait and Cami and Izzy come around the corner and they looked like they haven’t slept. \nI jump up and go over to them and feel their heads. “girls, are you alright?”\n“we are fine just tired, I didn’t sleep well” cami says scooting her feet to the coffee pot. \n“Me either” izzy plops down at the table. \n“why not?”\n“bad dreams” they both said at the same time. I find that very strange.\n“What type of dreams” I ask them.\n“Ill go first, well it started in a dark room, I hear voices and see flashes of light. Then I hear the voices chanting something then I hear our names then I see our house on fire” Izzy stopping because she wiped the tears away. \nCami just stares in disbelief. “Cam, whats wrong?”\n“I know this is gonna sound crazy but I had the same dreams” Cami looks like she had seen a ghost and the girls hug and try to comfort each other. \n“well girls I have some bad news. The house caught on fire last night. It was burned to the ground.” The girls both put their hands to their mouth. \n“This is to weird! Mom how did we see this happen?”\n“I don’t know baby.” I comfort the girls and tell them to go lay down and try to relax. They didn’t, they went out to the patio and looked at field. You can see the pain and fear in the way they look out. I hate seeing the pain and fear so its time to figure out whats going on. \nWhen we moved into the house we stay'd on the property, unpacking and cleaning. On our way here we had stopped and picked up groceries so that we wouldn’t have to go into town. I was trying to stay out of sight until we're settled. We are at home for another week and the girls are getting restless. We are sitting down for dinner when my phone rings, it say it’s the police department.\n“hello?” \n“Mrs. Towns” the voice from the night of the fire. \n“Yes, sir” \n“ma’am, I wanted to call and tell you about your house,”\n“was it electrical”\n“no maam. The fire marshal can not find the cause of the fire or the explosion that your neighbor heard. The fire marshal said that they believe that someone had started the fire. They said that they believe that if you had been in the home there would have been no way to get out. Do you know of anyone that would want to hurt you or your children?” \nOf course I did, anyone that knew my sister, mother or was from their group but I won't through my family under the bridge. “no sir”\n“it might have been just kids messing around. Luckily no one was hurt.” \n“what happens now?”\n“well we will continue the investigation. If we find anything we will contact you.” We say our goodbyes and he hangs up. I put the phone down and the girls looked at me for answers.\n“that was the police, they said they can not find a cause for the fire. They wondered if anyone would have started it.”\n“Why didn’t you tell them about your sister and her friends?” Cami asked\n“she is my family and we have no proof” I say and Cami rolled her eyes “would you want to turn in Izzy?”\n“of course not!”\n“even though my sister is not how I want her to be doesn’t mean I am willing to throw her under the bus.” What I wasn’t telling them was I am going to get to the bottom of this. I just have to wait until they are away.\nAbout a week later, Stephany came down to see us, when her car pulls in I smile because she reminds me of jack. They were both very kind and loving, you can feel it when your in there presence. The car stops and a women that’s brown hair had stripes of gray and her face was full of life and glowed with happiness, jumped out and ran to me with her arms out stretched.\n“oh dear! Its been to long!” stephany yells as she squeezes me tight. She lets go and steps back and looked at me, “are you eating enough?” \n“yes, I think so. Come in the girls are inside.”\n“oh yes, beautiful home.” When we walk inside she looks at the décor and you can tell that she was happy with the décor. We walk into the sunroom and the girls turn and loom at her. “oh my goodness, you girls are so beautiful. I swear its been to long.” She put her wrinkled hands to her mouth. She walks to them and grabs them, pulls them to her. They hug her back and they start catching up. \nShe stays the night, so I decide to go out and pay a visit to some family. I get into my car and drive to my childhood home. When I get there was a light on, in mothers old room, I take a deep breath and walk through the gate and onto the porch. I hesitate for a moment and try to pull all my strength to comfront her. I knock on the door and I hear foot steps coming down the stairs. \n“who is it?” \n“open the door” I say \n“Tam?” I hear the door handle rattle quickly. The door flew open and Dianna stood looking sad and you can tell she had been crying, “your suppose to be dead!” she says staring at me in disbelief. \n“well here I am” I say feeling angry because she just confirmed that she at least knew someone tried to kill us. “care to tell me who tried to kill me and my children” I feel a vibration coming from me. I figure it was because I was so angry until Dianna fell into the door. I anger stops and like a rubber band snapped I stumbled back. I shake “ what was that?”\n“you know you shouldn’t get so angry sister” Dianna says sounding out of breath. \n“What is going one!?” \n“it’s the council”\n“the council?”\n“you remember mother would have people come by every week, that was the council member checking on you.”\n“checking on me, why?”\n“mother was not your birth mother. The council brought you to her when you were born.”\n“me don’t you mean us”\n“no, just you. We arent your real family. You did have a sister though, Tia was her daughter. They brought her to mother when she was born but mother was to old so they said that the responsibility fell to me. They told me that she was like you and she needed to be kept away from others.” \n“oh wow, I wondered why I felt like an outsider. Where is my sister, Dianna?”\n“shes dead”\n“they killed her didn’t they” \n“yes, im sorry”\n“wheres Tias twin?”\n“with the council”\n“tomorrow I will be back and Tia needs to be ready, shes coming with me, her actual family!”\n“I cant do that. They will kill me” \n“guess that itll have to be our secret then”\n“fine”\n“oh one more thing which council member has her”\nTrying to play stupid she says, “ has who?”\n“tias twin” I stare at her and I feel the vibration starting and she kind of stumbles.\n“Freddie”\n“if you warn them or hurt Tia. I will involve the police.” I turn and go back to my car, and I go home to make a plan. When I get home the girls are sitting at the table.\n“well where have you been?” Cami says as they stand up and cross there arms.",

bodyI don't agree with a lot of what they do. But when it comes to animals out in public on the strip and downtown there is an issue. A lot of the entertainers that bring animals run the risk of their animals. I've lived in Vegas many years and I know of a few incidents where the animals did hurt people. I believe all entertainers that are using animals should keep their animals at a safe distance away from the public where they can't be hurt.

titleFlavorful meal on a Budget
bodyAre you cooking on a budget? Do you like flavorful food? If you answered yes to these questions then I am going to show you a simple and easy way to take box mac and cheese and turn it into tuna casserole. The ingredients will be at the bottom of this post. ![20180704_190055.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmRCxtB8z4XUTew1gmzHabuqn5Fq145W3t9ooPydaNQZAx/20180704_190055.jpg) First thing, you need to get any type of box macaroni and cheese. You take the pasta and you do as it instructs to make the pasta part. With the normal instructions, you are going to add just a little bit of salt and pepper to the water before it starts to boil. You will want to go ahead and preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. While the water heats up and starts to boil you are going to work on the sauce. ![20180704_185953.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmTY4QFrZu6ajGZ9Hjapq8kaEH1DD1JfQrBHC5pVMYhFQz/20180704_185953.jpg) The sauce, most macaroni and cheese boxes come with either powder or if you splurge and get the kind with liquid cheese. Mine came with powder because I am working on a very strict budget and its cheap. But that comes later first your going to take an onion, yellow or whatever your preference is, your going to dice it up and put it into a saucepan, skillet, or whatever you prefer. After onions are in your pan you are going to take just a little olive oil, oil of your choice, or just simple butter. After you put the oil or butter in a pan with onions you’re going to put it on medium heat and you’re going to mix them around until the onions become soft. After they are nice and soft you will take a small bag of frozen or canned peas( if using canned you need to make sure you drain them of water) and add to the onions. ![20180704_190117.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVqUX4JnmvHYDehfJH2BCoe7p4HpJfaQXJz6qJWSLbWbb/20180704_190117.jpg) While the peas heat up and start to suck up the flavor from the oil or butter and onions you will take just a pinch of salt and pepper and mix them into the mix of peas and onions. By this time you should be ready to put the pasta into boiling water. Cook until they are tender. But while they are cooking you will continue to simmer your peas and onions. When the noodles finish cooking you drain them. On most boxes, it will say not to rinse the pasta. But I’m a rebel and I say screw the people who wrote that. I rinse my noodles with cold water to stop the pasta from cooking any farther. I let the pasta sit and drain the water off and I shake it a little to make sure the water is off. Then I leave it to drain and go back to my sauce. I do follow the directions on the box on how to make the cheese sauce, kind of. I take butter, whatever type you like, I use actual butter with olive oil and sea salt, I put a little over a ¼ cup of butter in the pan with peas and onions. I mix the butter in and I go ahead and add the recommended amount of milk into the mixture. It continues to be on medium heat as I mix the milk in. I add in the packets of cheese powder. I mix until it has no clumps and its smooth and covers the onions and peas with the cheese sauce. I let them sit on medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring every once in a while. ![20180704_190807.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmSQSqWYEQ4aehEQEPM8cFNzhgvy8m6r7tWjZNwfJFyvyP/20180704_190807.jpg) After 5 minutes, you take any brand of chunk tuna and drain the water from the tuna. After you have done that take the tuna and add it to the cheese sauce. Mix it together until the cheese covers tuna, onions, and peas. You have mixed it this all together. You take basil, parsley, and rosemary. These do not have to be fresh can be store bought. Mix these together in the sauce. Leave the cheese mixture on medium heat to simmer. While simmering go back to your noodles which should be fully drained and cooled. Pour into a 9x13 in pan, sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper on the noodles. While you were putting the noodles in pan your mixture has been simmering in its juices. You’re going to now add just a little milk to the cheese mixture, just a little bit, this is to help loosen the juices so that when added for noodles, it will cost them. After the milk has been added you are going to turn it onto high and stand right there because you do not want it to burn. Stir in on high just until it starts to bubble. When your mixture has bubbled you will take it off the heat and pour it on top of your noodles. Once you have poured all of your cheese mixtures onto noodles you will then take a spoon and spread it out on top of noodles. Trying not to mix the noodles in the mixture, you want to let the cheese mixture just sit on top while the juices go through the pasta. ![20180704_190936.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmW1C1je1Uu2xidSeVDHroTDRHmg47jZRXJ9cA9PAFbqij/20180704_190936.jpg) Your oven should be preheated by this point. You will take shredded cheese, again whatever you prefer, you will sprinkle it on top. You will then put it in the oven. Put it in the oven for about 15 minutes. You will start to smell the casserole. When you go to check your casserole the cheese on top should be melted. If melted you will pull it out and take a spoon and then mix the noodles, cheese mixture, and the melted cheese together. After you have mixed this all together you will take more shredded cheese and cover the top of your casserole. Once you have put your desired amount of cheese on top you will carefully take aluminum foil and cover your casserole. How I cover with aluminum foil is I take the foil and stretch it out to fit pan. Then since the pan is hot I take the pot holder and form it to the sides and the ends. Making out it is fit snug so it will hold in the moisture. ![20180704_190149.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVwbwqzAP6Tvuf48XfZPbFrSxQ8QKxuB24AXVxXGPGoEk/20180704_190149.jpg) You will then place your casserole into the oven once more. You will leave it in the oven for about 10 to 15 minutes. So that the cheese melts on top. You will then pull it out and leave the foil on top of your casserole until it cools or you can serve piping hot. It’s whatever your preference is. Ingredients: 2 boxes of Mac n cheese 2 pinches of salt for water 2 pinches of pepper for water Cheese sauce: 2 packets of cheese in a box of mac n cheese 1 tbsp of basil 1 tbsp of parsley ½ tbsp of rosemary 1 bag of peas (12 oz) 1 medium onion 3 cans of chunk tuna Casserole 1 bag of shredded cheese Pinch of salt Pinch of pepper

"body": "Are you cooking on a budget? Do you like flavorful food? If you answered yes to these questions then I am going to show you a simple and easy way to take box mac and cheese and turn it into tuna casserole. The ingredients will be at the bottom of this post.\n\n![20180704_190055.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmRCxtB8z4XUTew1gmzHabuqn5Fq145W3t9ooPydaNQZAx/20180704_190055.jpg)\n\nFirst thing, you need to get any type of box macaroni and cheese. You take the pasta and you do as it instructs to make the pasta part. With the normal instructions, you are going to add just a little bit of salt and pepper to the water before it starts to boil. You will want to go ahead and preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. While the water heats up and starts to boil you are going to work on the sauce.\n\n![20180704_185953.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmTY4QFrZu6ajGZ9Hjapq8kaEH1DD1JfQrBHC5pVMYhFQz/20180704_185953.jpg)\n\nThe sauce, most macaroni and cheese boxes come with either powder or if you splurge and get the kind with liquid cheese. \n\nAfter you put the oil or butter in a pan with onions you’re going to put it on medium heat and you’re going to mix them around until the onions become soft. After they are nice and soft you will take a small bag of frozen or canned peas( if using canned you need to make sure you drain them of water) and add to the onions. \n\n![20180704_190117.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVqUX4JnmvHYDehfJH2BCoe7p4HpJfaQXJz6qJWSLbWbb/20180704_190117.jpg)\n\nWhile the peas heat up and start to suck up the flavor from the oil or butter and onions you will take just a pinch of salt and pepper and mix them into the mix of peas and onions. \n\nBy this time you should be ready to put the pasta into boiling water. \n\nI do follow the directions on the box on how to make the cheese sauce, kind of. \n\n![20180704_190807.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmSQSqWYEQ4aehEQEPM8cFNzhgvy8m6r7tWjZNwfJFyvyP/20180704_190807.jpg)\n\nAfter 5 minutes, you take any brand of chunk tuna and drain the water from the tuna. After you have done that take the tuna and add it to the cheese sauce. Mix it together until the cheese covers tuna, onions, and peas. You have mixed it this all together. You take basil, parsley, and rosemary. These do not have to be fresh can be store bought. Mix these together in the sauce. \n\nLeave the cheese mixture on medium heat to simmer. While simmering go back to your noodles which should be fully drained and cooled.\n\n Pour into a 9x13 in pan, sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper on the noodles. \n\nWhile you were putting the noodles in pan your mixture has been simmering in its juices. \n\nWhen your mixture has bubbled you will take it off the heat and pour it on top of your noodles. \n\nOnce you have poured all of your cheese mixtures onto noodles you will then take a spoon and spread it out on top of noodles. Trying not to mix the noodles in the mixture, you want to let the cheese mixture just sit on top while the juices go through the pasta. \n\n![20180704_190936.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmW1C1je1Uu2xidSeVDHroTDRHmg47jZRXJ9cA9PAFbqij/20180704_190936.jpg)\n\nYour oven should be preheated by this point.
